Amazing Arrangements
Amazing florists! We found Tess Fresh family-owned flowers through our venue. The prices are decent and they worked well with us. We had two meetings with them in person to go over different types of flowers and arrangements, and a meeting to finalize the details and see them set up. We were able to make my Pinterest board vision come to life because of their amazing abilities. They also enabled us to save money because we could rent the terrariums from them instead of buying them all. Beautiful bouquets, beautiful arrangements, beautiful job by Tess Fresh. Our venue was set up beautifully behind the scenes and they came to clean up afterwards with a small fee. The photos speak for themselves. We loved our minimal, elegant, and bold tropical florals!
TessFresh was great to work with and we loved everything about the flowers - from my bold tropical bouquet to the beautiful corsages and boutonnieres to the elegant centerpieces. Their team is so accommodating and welcoming. I corresponded with them over email and phone while I was in the planning phase and then finally got to meet them in person when we got into town for the wedding. Rose, Marcie, and Tess took such great care to create the perfect florals for our wedding! I provided vases for all our centerpieces and they did the arrangements with the specific flowers I chose. We didn't have flowers on the arch, but did have drapery with some gold palm tree fronds, which they helped arrange with our day-of coordinator. Everything was gorgeous! I was especially relieved that they were so up front, had reasonable pricing, and didn't pressure me into doing more than I wanted. We wanted a minimal, elegant, and bold tropical look, and they made it happen! Thank you for making our special day so very beautiful! We absolutely loved the flowers and so did our guests!

I hired Tessfresh and Tessilk Flowers for my wedding after searching for a local florist. My search criteria was find a florist that was affordable because I didn't have much budget to spend on flowers (less than 2K) that could deliver to my venue on the day of, and that was able to add succulents to bouquets to go with the theme. This was the perfect fit for me! Tess was very communicative via email and even sent me an image of my bridal bouquet the day before my wedding. The bouquet looked EXACTLY like I wanted and I couldn't have been happier. I'm absolutely going to recommend them to anyone who is looking something similar and I would absolutely hire them again.

Far exceeded my floral dreams!
Tessfresh did the florals for my wedding and far surpassed any expectation I had!!!! Tessfresh was a recommended vendor through my venue and worked seamlessly with my coordinator and other vendors. Unlike most brides, I did not have an exact vision for my wedding and just sent inspirational pictures of styles and colors I liked and left the rest up to the experts. I dropped off my grandmothers jewelry the week of my wedding and they affixed it to my bridal bouquet. They also texted me a photo AND video of my finished bridal bouquet the day before my wedding-that text was the most exciting and relieving message to receive amongst all of the pre-wedding chaos, it calmed me and made me so excited to see the rest of the florals on the big day. Day of the wedding they were on time, delivered personal flowers to our hotel and then the ceremony and reception florals to the venue! They provided gorgeous fresh petals for my flower girls. My bouquet was the most gorgeous arrangement of florals I've ever seen! It has now been a week and the arch florals are still at my house in near perfect condition and I am still enjoying my bridal bouquet too ;) I have complete confidence Tessfresh can do whatever your floral vision and dream is! I will definitely come back to Tessfresh for professional florals in the future. Thank you!

Affordable Dreamy Flowers
Tess and her team did an amazing job with my wedding!! It was at the L'Auberge Del Mar, so I wanted a high quality florist job to match the event space and she did just that! Also, the ceremony spaced had to be flipped to dinner. So many florists made me feel uncomfortable about how hands on they would be for the flip, but Tess made me feel comfortable and on the day of everything looked perfect and I never even saw anyone working on it because they were so on top of it. Her prices were very reasonable for flowers and rentals. If you want beautiful florals at an affordable price, this is the team for you!

Tess and her team are amazing, you can see why she has won so many awards as her work speaks for itself. Check out her work online. I remember meeting her at her office and I was sooo excited to find out what my wedding flowers would look like. I had already a theme in mind and had several variations in my head. When my fiancé and I met with Tess to go over what I envisioned she explained a lot of the type of flowers depending on the season maybe or may not be available. Apparently, the flowers I wanted were not going to be in season but with her magic and resources, was able to still create the most beautiful bridal bouquet and centerpieces I wanted. You see the flowers and the bouquet sets the motif of the wedding and she nailed it on the wedding day. And my bouquet was going to be in every photo so you can image how important it was to me. She even provided me smart options on how to stay in budget so I can do more with my flowers during the ceremony and wedding reception. She was not all about upselling me but making sure my flowers were beautiful and inline with my goals as things quickly add up when planning a wedding. My guest loved the centerpieces so much as they all wanted to take them home. There is just the different special natural feeling when you have fresh flowers all throughout your wedding. If anyone is looking for a wedding florist, hands down Tess is your go to. She has an amazing artistic eye to create masterpieces the day of your wedding. HIRE HER! I'm still in owe of our wedding flowers, and we got so many compliments on our flowers. Going into wedding planning, we knew little about wedding flowers, however Tess was patient and helped us throughout the process. You can tell she genuinely cares about you and wants your wedding to be special. She went above and beyond, and her work surpassed our vision. She is very sweet, easy to work with, respects your budget, gives great advice on your flower arrangements, and is dependable.
When wedding day came along, everything ran smoothly and all flowers were dropped off when they were promised.

Gorgeous Flowers at a fair price
I had a budget that some wedding coordinators literally turned their nose up at. But when I came to Tess with my budget and ideas she was able to not only produce something completely gorgeous but also under my budget! Our 2020 wedding was postponed until 2021 due to covid and I completely changed what I wanted during that year of waiting. Such an amazing team!
Our original date was June 2020, but due to reasons we had to postpone to June 2021. Tessfresh actually reached out to us first to see where our heads were at right before I was about to reach out to all the vendors. It was an easy transition to change the date, and communication before and after that was just as easy. They are so responsive and helpful, and I enjoyed working with them!
I originally only wanted wearable plants/flowers (like bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres) but after thinking it through I decided to add centerpieces for the reception. A month before the wedding I was able to meet up with them and they easily accommodated my request for centerpieces. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and I really love that about them.
Now for the actual product - all I have to say is WOW! The centerpieces (greenery garlands and flowers in glass jars) for the reception tables were so beautiful and completely exceeded my expectations. It really complimented the venue space. My only regret is that I should've decorated for the ceremony too. Will update with pictures once I get them. :)

I got so many compliments on our centerpieces and bouquets! I was nervous I would have dead or dying flowers or that it would be a total hassle, but TessFresh made it super easy. I shopped around quite a bit when it came to all of my vendors, and I am so happy I went with TessFresh. They were easy to work with, they gave me exactly what I wanted, and they were super flexible with our last minute changes. They provided the arch, draping, and flowers for the ceremony as well as the flowers to line the aisle. They moved all the aisle flowers to the dining tables and moved the arch flowers to the head table, they utilized every flower to make sure I got the most out of my money for the flowers. I didn't even notice them day of during the set up or moving the flowers. I don't remember any of the centerpieces at other weddings, but we got so many compliments on our flowers as ours absolutely stood out. I didn't know a lot about flowers or when things are in bloom, and TessFresh made recommendations based on quality and better pricing after I gave a general description, they were like mind readers in giving me the perfect floral arrangements. All of the flowers also lasted and looked beautiful a week after the wedding. So perfect! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Wedding Flowers
We got married on Leap Day 2020, exactly one year ago. Tessfresh was recommended from our venue and we are so happy we went with them. We went and looked at a sample centerpiece a few months before our wedding and Tess had some great recommendations to make the centerpieces even better. We got married at the Japanese Friendship Garden and the pink cherry blossoms happened to be in early bloom. Tess’s recommendation to put some blush into the center pieces and bridge arrangement turned out to match with the pink from the cherry blossoms really well. The bridal bouquet turned out beautifully too. We were planning the wedding from the East Coast but with great communication, they made it really easy to communicate over e-mail. We are huge fans and enthusiastically recommend Tess and her team for your big day.

A Tropical Paradise by the Sea
When my husband and I met Tess, we knew we had to hire her immediately! She was so warm, kind and welcoming, just like family. After listening to our visions of a tropical getaway, she quickly came up with some beautiful and wonderful ideas for our big day.

First, I need to say how wonderfully accommodating Tess and her crew are with regard to my ever changing wedding! Due to covid-19, our May wedding was postponed, they easily transitioned to our new August date. Then our wedding venue burned down, the provided centerpieces along with it. Tess, my wedding planner, and I had spent many hours designing our centerpieces around the original venues pieces. Three weeks before my wedding, I found another venue. We had to redesign the centerpieces in a huge rush. I showed her some pictures and voila, she not only created an even better design, but did so within my new budget. My guests were stunned with the beauty of the centerpieces!!! (pictures to follow soon!)
My bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were absolutely stunning!!! She found the perfect shade of pink! My father passed away about 2 1/2 years ago, she was able to secure his locket to the bouquet for my walk down the aisle.
I'm still so impressed by the professionalism, design, and overall quality that I received with Tessfresh flowers. I cannot recommend her enough. If you want your wedding to be as beautiful as you've always dreamed, do yourself a favor and hire Tess!!! You won't regret it!

TessFresh and her team did such an exceptional job for our wedding day! Every single arrangement was breathtaking. The team worked so cohesively with all of my other vendors and they made the process leading up to the event was so easy. Amazing experience from start to finish!
Tess and her team have outstanding customer service! Very professional and easy to work with! I described what my vision was and she was able to bring it to life. They are very flexible and definitely helped to provide a stress free process. I had some last minute additions/changes and they were able to accommodate with no issues. COVID wedding success!
Tess and her team were so instrumental in making sure our wedding was as stress-free as possible. Since my fiancé and I live in New York, we decided very last minute to hold a wedding ceremony in San Diego (our hometown). COVID had of course complicated our wedding plans, so we were forced to hire most of our vendors just a few days before our wedding. I hired Tess on Monday, and she was ready to go and perfectly delivered for our Saturday wedding!
Tess was SO communicative from the beginning. She answered my emails and phone calls so promptly, and went through every detail of what to expect with the florals. I had contacted other florists as well; however, I instantly felt the most comfortable with Tess. She is kind and genuine, and is so understanding of how it feels to be a bride, especially during COVID times! She even shared tips for how to stay within budget. That meant a lot to me.
The day before the wedding, Tess and her team Facetimed me to go over details of my bouquet. I'm a very detail-oriented person and was extremely particular about which flowers were included in the bouquet. Tess never made me feel bad or embarrassed about my edits and worked with me until the bouquet was exactly how I imagined it to be. The end result was absolutely perfect.
On the day of the wedding, Tess' team dropped off the flowers at my house and the church in a timely manner. They were at the church after the ceremony to pick up pillars we had rented. They were efficient, timely, and reliable.
I am so pleased that I chose Tess to do my wedding flowers. She is a star vendor and truly cares.

Amazing Florist!
Tess and her team are amazing! This review is long overdue, but had to be done! We were recommended by Tess by two of our friends who have used her for their wedding florist.
When we first met Tess and her team, we felt welcomed and found her and her team to be friendly, honest, and fair. We liked her so much, that we decided to put down a deposit after our consultation right then and there, which is $200.00 if that helps in any way.
Tess will keep everything you have in mind-- just explain to her what your vision is as well as budget and she will work with you. She was familiar with our vendors so she knew what to expect, flower-wise, and what kind of arch our ceremony had already, and hence, what sort of look we should go for. She will also find ways to help you save money, such as reusing the bridesmaid's bouquets for the Sweetheart Table.
Soon after our consultation, she sent us a price point breakdown of everything, including Flowers to Wear, Ceremony, and Reception. We thought this was very organized and color-coded and helped with the planning process especially since we had so much going on budget-wise already.
We also had many many changes and Tess and her team were very accomodating about it. In regards to centerpieces, she will do a mockup and you can come in to see it (or she can email you a photo). Since centerpieces were a huge thing for us, we went in person to check them out and loved it! Also, she recommends you send her a photo of what you would want your bouquet to look like.
Everything turned out the way they were planned/what we envisioned. If you are looking for an affordable florist, definitely check out Tess and her team. She will work with you and is very friendly, professional, and accomodating among many others!

Tessfresh Flowers is amazing! They created flower arrangements that exceeded our expectations! I gave them my vision and some photos and they created exactly what I wanted. When we visited their shop for our initial meeting, they were extremely welcoming (and even had us join in on a company potluck). In addition to the flowers we also rented a cake stand, centerpieces, and an arch. We are from the east coast so we weren’t able to do an in-person meeting to view the mock-ups but that was no problem because they sent videos and photos. I can’t say enough good things about Tessfresh Flowers.

Perfection!
Tess and her team did a phenomenal job on my wedding in La Jolla. We got married at Cuvier park and then had the reception at the La Jolla Woman's Club, and Tess' team was able to transfer our flowers between venues without me even noticing! I am in love with sunflowers and Tess and I instantly connected. She was able to completely capture my vision and make it a reality. She was so sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our flowers were perfect. Her team never made me feel bad about changing my mind on things, and were able to work with my busy schedule. They are so professional and easy to work with, I would highly recommend them! Tess also helped me stay within budget and had great ideas of how to cut costs without taking away from the look of the day. Thank you for making our wedding so gorgeous!!!

Wedding September 2019
I am SO glad I hired Tess as my florist for my wedding! She was amazing to work with and she knew what exactly I wanted 30 minutes into our meeting. She is very professional and her team is amazing to work with. I was stunned by the flowers when I walked down the aisle and when I saw the ballroom for my reception. Dreamy Flowers and Service!
I love flowers as much as the next bride, but have very little knowledge about what works best together, what lasts throughout the day, and what looks best in pictures (next to a floral pattern dress, nonetheless!). Tessfresh worked with me to incorporate what I like into my bouquet, the boutonnieres, the centerpieces, and everything else. They even worked with me to make centerpieces for the rehearsal dinner that we could re-use the following day as decorations for the aisle. The flowers were delivered on time and just as we had expected, fresh and beautiful!

Beautiful flowers
Tess helped me figure out what I wanted for my wedding day and venue. I went in with just flower ideas and she helped me figure out how to do the dinner tables. Her team was really easy to work with because I forgot about the inside venue and needed to come back in to decide those. The little details they put together ended up creating beautiful arrangements and my cascading bouquet was the most beautiful thing ever. Tess really treats you like family and it shows.

El was amazing help for my wedding this past November. She was very knowledgable, friendly, and quick to respond. Our flowers and flower arch came out beautifully and really added to the decor of our venue. I know nothing about flowers and El was able to help us pick the right colors and types of flowers that would look good together. I thought they were only going to add flowers to the cake, but they also added flower petals around the cake and also to the sweetheart table. A nice surprise! So grateful for TessFresh
TessFresh Flowers is just incredible! I just got married and I had a very specific vision and style I wanted, but I also had a budget. I worked with the designer and we did a lot of back and forth via email, phone and face time. They were so patient with me as I tailored my vision and hey were so committed to getting my flowers to look exactly how I wanted. I didn’t have a huge budget and they were experts at finding tasteful and affordable flowers to achieve the look I wanted. Tess is so personable and has such great energy. She wants to get to know her brides and is not at all about the sale. They will give you lots of ideas and advice if you need it but are not pushy. Stella was my designer and she was incredible! We texted often and face timed and somehow she new exactly what I wanted. Everything- the bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnières, the arch swag, flower crowns and bracelets- they were PERFECT. Beyond amazing
Tess and her team are AMAZING!! I cannot begin to say how much I loved working with Tess. When it came to flowers I didn’t really have much of a vision for what I wanted. All I really cared about was that there were coral Gerber daisies because they are my favorite flower. Other than that, I was open to hearing what florists had to suggest. When we started looking for a florist we began by meeting people recommended by our first coordinator (who we parted ways with prior to our wedding). We were floored at the quote we got back. We tried cutting things out to lower the cost, but we were starting to feel like we were leaving very little and it was still too expensive.
During all of this, we met Tess and her team at a wedding event at our venue Tom Ham’s Lighthouse. When we walked in it was like it was fate. At our wedding venue was a beautifully built archway FILLED with different shades of coral Gerber daisies. The archway was decorated with hanging globes with votives and had lanterns on the ground in front. It was gorgeous! My husband instantly went over to talk to Tess because he knew it was exactly what I wanted and found out not only was it gorgeous, but it was affordable!
Tess has such a talent for design and truly listens. She heard what I wanted in a beachy centerpiece and designed it beautifully out of driftwood, Gerber daisies, floating votives, lanterns and succulents. And I could gush on and on about the PHENOMENAL cascading bouquet she designed for me. I cannot put into words how gorgeous it was full of coral Gerber daisies, Stephanopoulos, and palms. And of course, as expected, the coral Gerber daisy arch was amazing and such a hit. She assembled it so that our guests would walk through it into the ceremony sight and then we would get to process out of it. Her team them flawlessly transported it from the ceremony to the reception where all our guests enjoyed standing under it to take photos with the waterfront view.
Tess and her team are a joy to work with. Eleanor is such a sweetheart and so quick to respond to any and all questions. She went above and beyond to help make our day beautiful and magical.
And as an added bonus, after the wedding, all of the archway flowers ended up in a hot Uhaul overnight into the next day and then transported into our apartment. When we came back from our honeymoon a week later, we had a house full of still gorgeous Gerber daisies. I was able to take them out and fill three vases full of beautiful flowers because of how well Tess set them.
Our wedding day went flawlessly, which is unheard of in weddings. And we attest that to what we said from the start. It is all about the team you have behind you. If you want to know you have a strong team I highly recommend Tess and her team!

Amazing!!! That is all I can say! Eleanor and Tessfresh were a dream to work with. I’m not going to lie I was the most nervous about picking flowers for the wedding. I didn’t really know what I wanted, wasn’t sure what flower was what, and didn’t want to spend a lot of money for flowers that would be gone after the day. From the initial contact they were responsive and so easy to work with. I sent over some photos of general ideas that I thought were nice and gave them free reign from there! At my final appointment with mockups they were so sweet as I really didn’t have a clue what most of the stuff was. “I’m not really sure, just make it pretty” was all I told them. They knocked it out of the park! Guests were gasping at how beautiful the arch was when they walked into the ceremony space. To my surprise all the centerpieces were scooped up by guests at the end of the night because they loved them so much. Do not hesitate to reach to them to discuss for your event. The arch turned out to be better than what I had envisioned and the centerpieces made the room look so glamorous. Tess and her team did an AMAZING job. I purchased a bridal bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets and they were better then I could have ever imagined. I wanted the bouquets to be succulent bouquets and I sent the team pictures of my dress, my bridesmaid dresses, and my centerpieces and gave them freedom to do whatever they thought would look best. They turned out amazing and I received endless compliments on how beautiful they were. The bridal bouquet was the most stunning but the bridesmaids bouquets were complimentary and amazing as well. The best thing about the succulent bouquets is that you can replant the succulents and they will grow with little maintenance so you can keep the bouquets forever. The price of the bouquets were incredibly cheap especially for such high quality bouquets. I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend Tessfresh Flowers.

Tess was able to take the vague descriptions and words I gave her and create the most beautiful arrangements. Oh my goodness... HOW do I even describe how much I love Tess and her crew?!? From our very first meeting, Tess was warm and kind, and completely open to making my vision come to life for our wedding day. She had perfect suggestions for how to make my ideas a reality while still staying in budget (and she is ridiculously affordable to begin with, it's nuts), providing different flowers that worked even BETTER than those I had given as examples. Her staff was always incredibly friendly each time I went in, and when she did my mock-up, I seriously almost cried—it was so beautiful. Even when I realized I wouldn't need two of the guest table arrangements any longer, she simply used those flowers to create GORGEOUS tie-backs for our arch and draping (which we also rented from her and they were so perfect). The bridal bouquets had extra touches that I wouldn't have even thought to ask for... she just did them on her own, and they were perfect. Every single thing that Tess did was magical... everything. My cake flowers, the petals down the aisle, the petals on the cake table, our head table... beautiful. Thank you, Tess, for making my fairy tale dreams a reality.

Basically two weeks before the wedding I brought in pictures of the brooch bouquet I wanted, the beaded bracelets I wanted for my daughter, mother and mother-in-law. And gave her pictures of lapel pins for my boys. I provided some vintage brooches and pearls that I bought at garage sales over the year and she (the company) produced the vision I had in my head. Every piece she created for me was simply beautiful. My bouquet blew me away and everyone else. Of course the flowers and table decor was on point too. She brought my 20's themed wedding to life. She went out of her way to give us a great deal on the arch and make the changes to our trial flowers to get them exactly the way we wanted them to match our purple/magenta theme. She also threw in a few free items to make us extra happy with the final design/total. Although this isn't a cheap flower place, she is well worth the money and she really knows what she is doing. Talented woman! The flowers were fresh, beautiful and extremely well done. My guests were impressed by them. On the day of the wedding, my bouquet had pearls inserted into the flowers instead of rhinestones (which wasn't a huge deal), but her husband quickly arrived with the correct rhinestones I had wanted. The service was great and I highly recommend Tess. She is very sweet!

I asked for lots of succulents in the centerpieces and bouquets and Tess made them look amazing. She also did a wooden arch for us which had gorgeous large succulents and yellow daisies on each corner. When I saw everything on the day of, it literally took my breath away. TessFresh flowers was one of the vendors I was most pleased with and happy about working with for our wedding. It was such a pleasure meeting and working with Tess - she is so kind, and extremely knowledgeable about what she is doing. I came to her with only vague ideas about what I wanted, and a rather tight budget, and she came up with more than I could have ever dreamed of. The flowers for my wedding were more beautiful and perfect than I could have ever dreamed of!! They made bouquets for me and 8 bridesmaids, 3 corsages, 9 boutonnieres, a toss bouquet, flower petals, and arch swag, and EVERYTHING came out perfect, and was all perfectly packaged and labeled upon being picked up. Tessfresh did a couple of my friend's weddings before mine and I am so happy that I was referred to them. They did such beautiful work on my bouquet and it was my vision turned into reality.
The flowers she provided for my wedding cake were fresh, vibrant and really made my cake that much more beautiful.
They are quite a drive from Mira Mesa where I am from, but definitely worth the drive. I highly recommend Tessfresh for all of your floral needs.

They changed the orange flowers out for pink with no complaint and they turned out gorgeous! They also gave us a free underwater light for one of my centerpieces because one burnt out!

I can't say enough great things about Tessfresh flowers!! While planning my wedding I asked multiple vendors for recommendations and no one recommended any one more often and with more enthusiasm than Tess. I still contacted multiple florists just to be sure and it was clear that no one was going to work with my budget but still make my wedding flowers amazing more than Tess was glad to help me out with!!
Now, only a few days after my wedding this is the first review I am gladly posting! The flowers were literally STUNNING. My bouquet was even more beautiful than I could have asked for. My centerpieces were AHHHMAZING!!!!!!
These people know flowers. I was very specific about which shade of lavender I wanted and they got it exactly right. The hydrangeas are still fresh and stunning. Anyone who has seen hydrangeas wilted after only a few hours (like I have seen at other wedding receptions!) know that not all florists know how to take care of delicate flowers. The roses were big and thick and beautiful. Everything was literally PERFECT!
Don't look for any other florist for your wedding. You'll be wasting your time and weddings are already stressful as it is. Tess and her group are THE BEST!! :) :) :)

Not only we enjoyed working with Tess but we loved this woman. Her professionalism and creativity exceeded our expectation. We had no ideas of what kind of centerpieces we wanted for the wedding. We just told Tess what type of flowers we like, what colors we were going to use and what was our budget. Tess worked with us to make this happen. She has such an eye for putting flowers together. When she showed us the mock centerpiece, we immediately fell in love with it. It was simple but classy enough to match the ballroom. One of my favorite flowers is sunflower. It is not an easy task to incorporate sunflower at a ballroom reception dinner but Tess did it and everybody still tell us how beautiful the bouquets and centerpieces were. We had a lot of out of town guests so we were expecting going home with lots of centerpieces. Well, wrong guess. Our guests loved the flowers so much that they brought them to their rental house or travel with them.

We are truly uber satisfied at the level of service. Do not judge a book by its cover. The store doesnt do the flowers or the service justice.

Tess' flowers are so incredibly beautiful and she did an AMAZING job. (If you want to see pictures as proof, just send me a message and I'll send you some pictures!)
So many of my guests told me about how beautiful my flowers were and a few guests told my Bridesmaids that their bouquets were the most beautiful Bridesmaid bouquets that they had ever seen.
Tess' prices were also extremely reasonable which made it so I could afford my DREAM wedding. (No other florist even came close on the pricing.)
The thing I love most about Tess is how caring and thoughtful she is. You can tell that she truly loves her job and she really goes out of her way to accommodate her clients. She will work with any budget and will give you ideas for how to save money. She truly does put her clients first.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tess Silk Flowers in Chula Vista, no matter where your wedding is. I found them at the San Diego Bridal Show at the Convention center. There was a huge selection of florists and I took a look at all their example arangements as well as their prices. I chose Tess. She was there personally, but what first impressed me was the arrangements. They were far more beautiful bouquets and more original arrangements than the others...and far fresher looking. When I saw her prices, they were LESS expensive -shock! I booked Tess for May, but then had to change my date to July....then at the end had to add some arrangements and also had the possibility of needing the flowers a day early. You would think this would either cost you more for changing, or at least get attitude for inconveniencing them, but this was not the case. All my changes were met with the friendliest attitude and no extra charge. On the big day, everything was delivered and looked just as we had discussed. They were fresh and in prepared boxes to keep them that way until my next day part of the event...so I got to use them again, even the bouquets still looked amazing the next day. I would use her again any time for any event. There were no suprise extra prices, every thing was on time and looked gorgeous.

Tess and her team were just amazing! We chose TessFresh because my sister and some other friends had their wedding flowers by them, and they recommended Tess and her team. Our first meeting with Tess was great! Tess was knowledgable, friendly, and so personable. She really made you feel like family, and her prices are reasonable.
Throughout our planning process, Tess was so flexible with our budget! We were going back and forth with different ideas and ultimately, she and her team definitely delivered!
On the actual wedding day, Tess's team were on time and delivered everything as promised. I was a little apprehensive at first because the week prior to our wedding, we made some more changes, so we couldn't see a full mock-up of how the florals would look, but they turned out beautifully! My venue recommended Tessfresh flowers as her #1 option, so I went with them instead of doing tons of research. I was definitely not disappointed. The flower arrangements, bouquets, etc. were all STUNNING. The only small request we had was to incorporate white lilies into the arch arrangement, which was not done, unfortunately. I contacted the vendor and she informed me that they did not come in, therefore, they were unable to use them. I just wish I had been notified sooner, rather than me figuring it out after the wedding was already over. Other than that small hiccup, I would highly recommend Tessfresh!

Fabulous Experience wih Tessfresh
Tess was a local favorite vendor of my venue and they were very easy to work with. Marci worked with me to create my vision, which I just knew the color scheme for. She chose beautiful flowers that fit my style perfectly and I was in love with the results. The rest of the staff was very affable, professional, responsive and worked within my budget. They are busy so you need to email with time.

Mixed emotions
I have some mixed feelings when it comes to my experience with TessFresh. On the one hand, they were great with communication, very prompt and professional when it came to answering my inquiries (and I had MANY questions), and getting a contract/order was fairly straightforward. I was looking to get my arch decorated with florals, have drapery added, and then have two ceremonial arrangements with pillars included. I gave them a couple picture examples to give them an idea of what I'd like. Tessfresh was willing to work within my budget (and even gave me a small discount) so that for the flowers, set up, delivery, and repurposing (we wanted these flowers to be repurposed at our reception/sweetheart table), it came out to $1000. So basically, all my interaction with them before the wedding day was great.
Now, when it came to the wedding day, that's where I got a little disappointed. The two ceremonial arrangements were quite good, not quite as pretty as the picture I gave them (and the picture was actually of an arrangement they posted on their own page, so they are fully capable of making it I believe), but still very large, full, and round, so it was still acceptable and I was fine with it. The arch, however, was where I was disappointed. The flowers came out to be a lot sparser/thinner than what I expected, but what really got me was the greenery. It just looked...sad? The greenery was of a completely different kind compared to the pictures and just had a very balding look, or like half grown whiskers rather than a lush look. It basically looked like they just stuck in whatever leftover greenery they could find, and called it done. It didn't have a planned, organized, refined look to it. Additionally, the drapery was done pretty poorly as well, they wrapped the bottom of the drapery around the pillar of the arch which completely ruins the free flowy look of the drapery. I think it would've been better if they just placed some kind of paperweight or rock to keep the drapery from flying away if that was what they were concerned about? I don't know if I'm just being picky, I'll let the pictures do the talking.
The two people who did the setting up were nice people and they did a great job with repurposing the flowers. It looked great on the sweetheart table. But I just wish the arch was done better with the flowers and drapery, and the greenery was more organized and uniform instead of looking haphazard, sad and sparse
