Excellent Bridal Shop!!

Tesi Bridal shop is excellent. Their personal service and attention is amazing. My wife purchased her dress from here, and I rented all of my tuxedos. I couldn't ask for a better experience and the prices were very reasonable.

Wonderful Experience

The girls at Tesi Bridal made shopping for my wedding gown such a wonderful, stress free experience. They work within your budget, and have such a wide selection for every taste. It was wonderful

Tesi bridal helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding day. They had a large selection, I tried on a lot of dresses and was very indecisive, and they helped me find the perfect one! Tesi even helped me pick out my jewelry and acessories. I loved going back for all of my fittings. Staff is so friendly and helpful, especially Tesi, Bernadette and Alyssa. I highly recommend going to Tesi Bridal for your wedding dress!

I am in love with Tesi Bridal and Formal! I first bought my wedding dress. I only went in to look around, but they were extremely helpful and professional. They all made me feel so comfortable and listened to and found exactly what I wanted and I found my dream dress! I recently went back with my mom for her special occasion dress. My mom is picky and never thought she would be able to love a dress. My mom ended up falling in love with a dress that was selected and she said that was her best experience shopping. I made an appointment to get my bridesmaid dresses there and I have RAVED about this shop to everyone. I will never go to another shop for formal wear. I HIGHLY recommend Tesi to anyone and everyone! I look toward to future purchases and my upcoming alterations!

I had a wonderful experience at Tesi. The customer service is unparalleled. I am customer just attending a wedding and I received undivided attention. The staff new their dress selection and new exactly what dress would look best on me. The staff was very friendly from the moment I walked in until I left. Tesi, and all her girls she has working for her, were always a pleasure to do business with! I won my dress from a bridal show and Tesi herself helped me pick out the perfect dress, quite easily I might add! I had imagined it taking hours and hours going through racks of dresses, but that never occurred. I told Tesi my likes and dislikes and she pulled several dresses for me to try on. It was like she had known me forever and knew my style! Tesi really takes the time to help brides pick their dress and accessories to go with it. I couldn't have been any happier with my experience at Tesi Bridal! I highly recommend this shop for your bridal experience

I couldn't be more happy with my dress from Tesi. I purchased a beaded lace sweetheart Casablanca dress and it was perfect. When I originally found my dress, I was 50lbs heavier than when I got married. I knew I wanted to lose weight for my wedding and the staff at Tesi had no problem when I said I wanted to order my dress two sizes smaller than what I measured. I was pleasantly surprised when they didn't argue with me as I had heard numerous stories about salons not accommodating brides wishes of ordering smaller sized dresses. When it was all said and done, I actually had to get my dress taken in even more and they did a great job. My dress fit like a glove on my wedding day and I just felt beautiful in my dress. The dress was stunning and the staff at Tesi was helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process.
While I give them 5 stars for all aspects of service, if I would make one recommendation, it would be that they provided a slightly nicer garment bag and maybe throw in a picture worthy hanger. Those are just small details and by no means affect the overall service or quality of dress provided by Tesi Bridal. Thank you Tesi!

I would highly recommend TESI Bridal & Formal to all brides to be. I went to 2 other bridal shops in New Jersey and I wish I had gone there first. I would have never imagined that wedding dress shopping could have been so stress free, and I owe this all to Tesi and her staff. What a fantastic experience I had with TESI Bridal & Formal. I felt so welcomed from the minute I walked into the store. Tesi and her staff were very professional always warm, friendly and helpful. They listened to what I wanted. What an amazing staff and friendly environment. After purchasing my dress, I then needed to schedule my fittings, which would not have been such a big deal except for the fact that I live in North Jersey. They were incredibly accommodating because I was an out-of-town bride, and they worked the fittings around my schedule when I would already be coming to town. I had to drive 2 hours for my fittings, but it was so totally worth it.Thank you all for your help with finding my perfect wedding dress.

I absolutely LOVED working with Tesi Bridal. I can't thank their entire staff enough for bringing my vision to life. I had a full experience from purchasing my wedding gown, veil, some jewlery, custom alterations, and selecting my bridesmaids dresses and dresses for my mother and grandmother for my wedding. Tesi's has a beautiful selection of gowns and accessories in any budget. I was very impressed by the staff's dedication to customer service. This bridal shop has a family feel which is why I kept going back for more after I purchased my wedding gown there. At my initial appointment, the sales associate was so helpful in identifying which details of certain dresses I liked and didn't like which allowed me to find my dress at the first appointment! I gave the sales associate a budget and I ended up buying a dress that was nearly half the budget I had given her. That goes to show that they value a happy bride over a big price tag. I never once felt pressured into purchasing anything, it was just so easy with their friendly staff and great selection. The groomsmen bought their suits elsewhere, but Tesi's staff assisted me in figuring out which ties/shirts/suits best complimented my dress and the bridesmaids. The staff really just wanted to see my day come together for me. The custom alterations were wonderful. It completely transformed the dress into a look that was uniquely mine and so many people were raving about my dress saying it was the most elegant and beautiful wedding dress they'd ever seen. If you're looking for your wedding or special occasion, I definitely recommend Tesi Bridal!

I am so glad I found Tesi Bridal and Formal! I am a Pennsylvania bride who called all my local bridal stores looking for a specific dress. I was told by several PA stores that it was a dress from the designer's new line that won't be available in any stores for months, maybe not even until next year! I called Tesi Bridal on a Thursday and spoke with Halie who was more than willing to try to help me find this dress. Not only was she able to get the dress in store for me to try on but it was there less than 2 days later so I could pop in while I was down the shore for the weekend anyway. Thank you to all of my girls at Tesi's from the bottom of my heart!! From the minute my mom & I walked in we felt at ease... Which was surprising because we had 3 months until the wedding and still no dress! We found my wedding gown that same day!! I found my dress at Tesi after looking at 6 other places in Philadelphia and New Jersey! I walked in and was immediately comforted and told "you WILL find your dress here" - well they were right! The team was easy to work with and able to schedule my fittings far in advance. This was helpful since I lived in Philly and it was an hour drive each way. I also found my shoes, hair accessory, and beautiful cathedral length veil here!!! Thank you Tesi Bridal!!

Words can't describe how unbelievable TESI Bridal & Formal is. My Mom had found this store and we both had no idea what to expect since we are from Philadelphia and didn't know the area too well. We decided to give it a go. The moment I walked in I was greeted by Halie who was running my appointment. I told her my style and she picked a few options for me. I had such a blast trying dresses on with her as my appointment person because she has such a great personality and is so funny! She ended up picking my dream dress on that first appointment and I ended up getting it that day. She knew EXACTLY what I was looking for and just nailed it.

From there, Halie continued to run all my fitting appointments and I can't even tell you how spot on her intuition is when it comes to the fit of dresses and how they should look and feel. I would say one thing about an area I was uncomfortable with and she knew exactly how to fix it and was able to direct the seamstress in such a way that there was zero confusion on what needed to be fixed or done. She is just beyond, beyond talented. She always made me feel so great and comfortable. Then came time for the veil fitting -- I wanted to wear my Mom's veil which was in great condition but a bit overwhelming at the top (lots of material). I was so bummed that I couldn't wear it, but Halie came up with the best alternative -- she suggested that we just remove the top piece at a certain angle that would absolutely keep the delicate look of the veil and keep the same shape, but just remove the excess. My Mom and I were a bit nervous, but we had full confidence in Halie already and went with her advice. Again, BEYOND spot on. I was so so happy with how it turned it. Again it just proves how intuitive and talented she is -- she truly knows her stuff.

I originally found Tesi Bridal through Mori Lee's website as they were the only bridal shop in the area that carried the particular dress that I wanted. I worked with Haley (sp?) for most of my appointments and could not have been happier! They were very flexible and since I live about 2 hours away, they allowed me to book fitting appointments on Saturday's which they don't normally do. I even found the perfect Pronovias Veil at their shop. When it arrived over a year after being ordered (but still plenty of time before the wedding) Haley explained that the veil was actually discontinued, but they were able to convince the designer to make one more! I appreciated the fact that they didn't cause unnecessary stress by telling me I may have to pick another veil. They saw an issue and immediately came up with a solution. What more could you ask for?!? My fittings were minimal due to Mori Lee's hollow-to-hem measurements, but each seamstress that I saw was very professional and did exactly what I had requested, while also maintaining the integrity of the dress. Overall, I was 100% satisfied with my experience and would recommend this shop to anyone! Thank you Haley and the Tesi Team!

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful Halie was at Tesi Bridal. I was looking to try on a specific Essense of Australia gown. I literally called every authorized dealer to try to find the dress. Tesi Bridal was the only location who offered to bring in the dress for me to try. Not only did they get the dress for me, but Halie promised to get it in for me while my mom was in town visiting. The dress was amazing and the experience at Tesi was wonderful! We had previously tried dresses on in NYC and we did not get the true bridal experience until we went to Tesi Bridal. I found the dress of my dreams and we even found the bridesmaid dresses there too! Thank you again Halie and Tesi for an amazing experience! I cannot wait for my dress to come in :)

I could not thank Tesi Bridal and Formal enough for making my wedding dress shopping so amazing. From the phone call with Amanda helping me make my appointment, to Sara having such wonderful patience with me, to Tesi coming out and telling me how beautiful I looked in my dress, all of that made everything perfect. Tesi's is amazing! I had found an Essence of Australia bridal gown online and had called every bridal shop within 2 hours to see if they had it. Tesi was the only one willing to get the dress in for me to try! When I went to the shop I ended up choosing it as "the one". I had gone in October and I believe the dress came in around January. Although the shop is 2 hours away from home I took my four bridesmaids back with me in December for their dresses which was also a success (came in around March for my September wedding). If we lived closer, I would have rented tuxes here as well. Halie helped us on both occasions and I couldn't be any happier with how personable, honest, and reassuring she was. Even when I needed swatches or was being a little bit of a bridezilla checking up on things, they were always helpful helpful! Thank you so much!!

I purchased a second dress, my short after-reception dress for my cruise wedding. It was short, blingy, and in my price range! I felt classy and sexy in it and received tons of compliments. I enjoyed working with the ladies at TESI and they understood my vision for a short fun dress to wear around the ship and to dinner the night of my wedding (hours and hours after the 11am ceremony)
I can't wait to wear it for a cocktail party at some point and feel glamorous once again!

All the lovely ladies at Tesi Bridal gave me top notch treatment. They were all extremely attentive and helped every step of the way. When my dress first arrived and the sizing was off, they immediately had it sent back and reassured me that they would do whatever it took to make me happy. And they did!! A new dress arrived that fit shortly after. The alterations were perfect and my dress fit me like a glove. I couldn't be happier and got nothing but compliments the entire night of my wedding. I had a great experience at Tesi Bridal and Formal. I tried on many gowns with Tesi's assistance and said yes to an Allure Bridal dress. I got the dress half price, because of the Memorial day sale/sample sale! Luckily, it fit like a glove and didn't need alterations, but I had the train cut and turned into lace cap type sleeves. I had 3 alteration visits. Each visit ran on time and the alterations came out as promised, at a fair price. I also purchased earrings and hair jewelry from Tesi's shop. All of the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. Overall, it was a very easy shop to deal with, appointments were easy to make and I found my perfect dress there

Where do I begin? Tesi's far exceeded my expectations. From the day I walked into her boutique, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile. She was more then accommodating with our budget and style and showed sincere care in our satisfaction. When we finally "Said yes to the dress" it was smooth sailing. My dress was altered (at Tesi's) down quite a few sizes and fit perfectly! Every fitting was right on schedule and simple! I had the pleasure of not only using Tesi Bridal for my personal wedding, but also for the weddings of my three brothers. Tesi and her team of professional were nothing short of SPECTACULAR! We purchased three Mother of the Groom dresses which were not the matronly dress styles that most bridal salons carry, her selection of brides maid gowns is vast and hip and their wedding dresses are just stunning! Her knowledge of the business and style trends is ever growing with the ages and the customer service once in her store in unsurpassed. I have found over the years that when you enter bridal salons you are not the center of attention and this is not the case with Tesi; her team always makes you feel like you are the only one in the room and that your event is their top priority. This shop has expanded into evening and prom attire in addition to tuxedo rental, now that is one stop shopping for your special event. I live in Manhattan and had been to a number of a the bridal boutiques and stores up here. I'm from South Jersey, and my mom really wanted me to go look at Tesi's just in case we found something close to home, which is where I will be having my wedding. I'm so glad she suggested this. The personability of Tesi and how she takes care of you is a level you can't get in Manhattan. Anything I asked for - she found a way to get it done, and was so helpful through the process and offered sincere and honest opinions through the process. I just went for my 2nd fitting and couldn't be more in love with the dress, the veil, the alterations - everything. The price also was the most competitive of anything I found in the city (no shocking I'm sure). Her seamstress is also a master of her skill as well. I would definitely recommend.

Not only did I pick THE dress but Tesi' staff were very helpful. They went through different styles, price range, and I love I can preview dresses online and know the price. They helped with my alterations and always had accommodating hours.

Tesi the owner is very involved in finding the perfect dress. I had no idea what I wanted Tesi made me stop to think what did I really want for the big day. She helped me design the perfect dress of my dreams by calling the designer and ensuring they could alter an Allure dress that fit my ideal dress. I had three fitting still unsure if it was perfect she had me come in one last time and personally made sure it was perfect! I also lived in Maryland and she was super flexible in scheduling the fittings. I am sure it was nerves knowing the big day was coming but she made sure I was happy and helped take all my concerns away all while the shop was about to move to Northfield NJ in a few days. Can you believe Tesi still took the time ?!?

After going to both David's bridal and Bridal Garden and finding very few dresses that I liked or could even try on, Tesi Bridal was a breath of fresh air. There were hundreds of dresses all in a variety of sizes. Tesi and her assistant were totally honest with their opinions which was wonderful. If felt like they actually wanted me to look and feel great, not just make a sale. If you are interested in a gorgeous gown at a great price and you aren't looking for some posh, overindulgent bridal experience, this is the place for you. They also have a TON of pronovias gowns. I got the latest pronovia that hasn't even hit the pronovia site yet, so thrilled! Thanks Tesi!

How can I thank each of you enough for helping me find my perfect wedding dress? My experience was such a wonderful one, as I felt so special in the private bridal room and could try on as many dresses as I wanted. I had a clear vision in mind, and each of you helped to refine my vision. I must also thank the seamstress for making such precise, accurate alterations. Simply a wonderful experience. My dress was beautiful. The seamstress did a wonderful job on alterations. I picked up my dress the week of the wedding and my fiance was missing a button from his tux which was impossible to fine. Tesi snipped a button off one of her tuxes she had there and saved the day! Very pleasant and relaxing shop and personnel. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Experience at TESI! I made a weekday evening appointment with my mom, SIL, & MIL, and had a great meeting with Hailie, who helped me look through images of dresses to try on, all of which were within my budget. She was upfront about pricing and scheduling, it was like working with a friend! I was stressed about the timeline (approx 6-month engagement), but my dress came in about 3 weeks before, and a couple fittings later, my dress was perfect and ready to go the Thursday before the wedding. Everyone I met there was so nice, and the seamstresses are especially kind, patient, and helpful. I did not feel pressured to purchase accessories or shoes, although they were offered to help me get an idea of what I would look like if I purchased similar items elsewhere. Thank you for a great value, amazing experience, and awesome service. :)

Tesi was amazing. I grew up in the area and got married nearby, but I live in CA, which made the fitting process a little challenging - but Tesi made it so much easier. She had me come in for multiple fittings while I was in NJ, and then mailed me my dress in CA in between fittings. My dress required a lot of alterations, which made me really nervous. But Tesi gave me her personal cell phone and reasurred me during the entire process. Then she had me come in twice the week leading up the wedding to ensure a perfect fit. Tesi is an incredibly caring, professional, and thoughtful person, which made the process much easier.

I was looking for an Allure gown and the website gave me Tesi Bridal. I made an appointment and Fell in love with one gown and my mother fell in love with another. My consultant Irene was my rock!!!!!!!!! I wanted to get the sleeves removed off my dress. Irene told me that could be done with the designer. Then Irene helped me pick the gown I wanted and not the one my mother would have chosen. She reassured me that I had to love the dress and mom would come around in time. Irene was right. When my gown came in it was perfect, just a nip of allterations. My experence was so enjoyable I purshed the bridesmais dresses there. Everyone was so helpful to all of us. I would recommed they visit Tesi Bridal and make sure you ask for Irene.

Tesi Bridal did a fabulous job helping me find my dream wedding dress! Halie worked extra hard to find exactly what I liked, and what style was most flattering for my body type! I was traveling from Florida to find a dress, and they worked with me and understood my vision. They never showed me dresses outside of my price range and were able to find me a great dress. They were understanding when I felt the need to go to another shop before deciding on my dress. I came back and ordered that afternoon. They worked with me for fittings as I was coming back from Florida. I had my first fitting on Wednesday and the second on Sunday when I was able to take my dress with me. My dress was gorgeous and fit me beautifully.

I got my Casablanca dress from Tesi Bridal in Ventnor (near Atlantic City). Tesi was great but she ended up having a baby during my process but I must say the girls that ran the shop were great. I loved Crystal. I got my dress off the rack and got it altered to fit me. The seamstress was wonderful. She let out the sides and added fabric from the bottom! You couldn't even tell. She also added lace sleeves. I also got my veil there and I loved it so much!!!! It matched my dress perfectly. I got all the bridesmaids and flower girl dresses there too. They were wonderful! Everything matched so well. Their selection is the best around!
The only reason why I am not giving them an A+ is because of the tuxes that we rented from them; two had sleeves that were too long and one had pants that were too short. Tesi, herself, ended up fixing the sleeves the night before the wedding, which was very nice of her. The pants were tried on right before the wedding due to my father-in-law living out of town, so nothing could be done about it then. I do have to say that Tesi uses a company for the tuxes so it's not her fault. Overall, I am very happy I chose Tesi's.

Tesi's Bridal is great to work with. I got my wedding dress from them off the sale rack. This was my second boutique on my search for the perfect dress. They gave me 100% attention and I was in tears (of joy) when I finally was able to narrow down my selection and choose "the dress". The alterations were perfect and they dry cleaned and pressed my dress since it came off the sale rack. It was a great experience at Tesi's. My mom also bought her dress there for the wedding as well as my mother-in-law.
Tesi just added a tuxedo rental line and I believe we were the first to rent tuxedos from them for our wedding. They were very flexible with working with our ideas and ordered as much as they could from their tux vendor so we could make a decision on colors, etc. Some of the tuxedos came in too big or long and alterations were necessary. They were great with getting the alterations done timely however they did not stay in tact too long. When the groomsmen got dressed on the wedding day, all of the alterations broke loose and we were taping up the pants, etc minutes before the ceremony began. However, this was a risk we were willing to take since it was their first tuxedo event.
Overall, the service, staff, owner are all extremely professional and willing to do whatever it takes to make the bride and groom happy. We were very impressed with them.

Kayla and Tesi are great to work with. I ended up finding "The Dress" at another shop but I went back here to buy my veil and accessories because of the customer service I received on my first visit. I ordered my veil and then was told it was not going to be what I wanted, I was able to speak with Tesi and figure out a way, since I could not get a refund, to get what I originally wanted and it be exactly what I wanted.

I got my dream dress from Tesi- complications with the seamstress who told me she was "too busy to take notes at my alterations appointment" and she took my dress IN when it was supposed to be taken OUT. She fixed it and it was fine, but I was not thrilled with being told someone was too busy to properly note what I was paying for and being stressed out 2 weeks before the wedding. Tesi was amazing and sweet and helped out big time and overall I'd definitely recommend her bridal shop.

I purchased my bridal gown from Tesi Bridal for my December 2012 wedding. Overall I wasn't happy with my experience in dealing with this shop. I wanted an Allure gown and since the shop carries the line and is close to where I live I decided to purchase through Tesi. Tesi did not feel I needed extra length added to the gown however I disagreed. I ended up having 2 inches added to the standard length and ultimately, I didn't have any alteration to the hem of the gown. Had I not added length, my dress would have been way too short or I would have had to change my shoes.

I brought my Mom in to try on MOB gowns and we had a horrible experience. Even though we had an appointment, no one helped us choose gowns that would flatter her figure or help her into gowns. I have no problem helping my Mom but I am not an expert in this area. It wasn't until we were finished trying on the gowns she liked that someone even paid us any attention since they wanted a sale. Obviously we didn't purchase her gown from them.

I hate to say it but Tesi is really rude. She is not warm or friendly like most bridal shop owners are. Some of the staff that work here are really nice but most have the same attitude that the owner does. Considering that there are plenty of options in the surrounding area, I would not recommend this shop to a friend.

My gown ended up coming in on time and the alterations at the shop were good. The price was reasonable and the seamstress was willing to do last minute alterations since I got a stomach bug and lost 5 lbs a few days before wedding. There was a large wrinkle in the fabric along the bust line (satin underlay was not pulled tight under the lace)on the day of the wedding (which wasn't there when I last tried it on prior to the last alterations) but at least the dress fit and didn't hang off me.

I purchased my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses here. I loved my dress but I hated the belt it came with, so I purchased another belt. I told them my budget but I wound up going a bit over after alterations. I did not like the seamstress there - she didn't seem interested in listening to my feedback or my mom's/bridesmaid's who came to the fittings. We repeatedly pointed out certain things and finally Tesi herself and another staff member were both able to convey what we wanted. I also live in NYC and I found it hard to schedule fittings because the seamstress was so limited. I wish I had used my own person but I felt pressured to use theirs. In the end, my dress fit nicely but I feel like for what I was spending (between my gown and my bridesmaids') they should have been more flexible. I was also really surprised when I went to pick up my dress the day before the wedding and there was a huge yellow stain front and center from the steamer. I picked it up later and it was more or less invisible but I was shocked that was even there! Added some unnecessary stress before my big day!

Was happy when I purchased this dress however months later alterations turned out to be a disaster. To make a long story short I had to go to alterations 4x due to the 1st seamstress messing up the dress and not doing over half of the alterations that were needed. They then put with another seamstress who I was told "was the best seamstress" and would fix everything. When asked why I wasn't put with the "best" the first time no one had any clue the first seamstress would do such a bad job which I don't believe at all. I basically ended up having to purchase a second dress YES I SAID SECOND dress because my dress wasn't complete until 3 days before my wedding. When I went in for the last fitting the owner Tesi apologized and then let me know that the 2nd seamstress had a breakdown the day before working on my dress and they had to cancel all of her other appointments. How comforting? When asked what could be done to fix this especially since I had to buy another dress the owner Tesi let me know all she could do is give me a discount on a reservation box for the dress. Her exact words were "what else can I do you purchased everything already?" Oh and to top it off one of the straps popped the day of the wedding. Front staff was nice but I absolutely regret buying a dress from this place. I won't ever return.

Went to Tesi Bridal for my appointment and made me show them dress styles I liked for my wedding gown. Tried on four dresses and none were like the ones I showed. The woman came back to me after and said they had no more dresses for me to try on and asked did I want to try one of the others again. Also she never helped me get into any of the dresses, she just handed them all to me. Not professional. Only reason I'm giving any stars is because my future sister and law found a gorgeous dress from here and they helped a lot to stay on her budget.

EDIT: In response to Tesi's response, my dress budget was around $1000. I asked them to pull dresses with lace. You mean to tell me there are no dresses with lace around $1000? My future sister in law's budget was around $500 and they had no problem finding dresses for her. I'm sure they thought I had no intent to buy since I'm from out of state, and therefore they didn't want to put effort into helping me.

Went to Tesi's bridal to find bridesmaid dresses for my girls. To start off they all act like snobs. They seem to think they are considered upper class to everyone else. News Flash you work in retail not a classy country club. They didnt imform us that the dresses had to be paid in full and told us to put a deposit down which caused a huge issue with having them delayed to be ordered. Then to top it off when one of the girls went in to pay her dress off she was asked if she was paying for anyone elses. They were just rude and I would never go back there. I regret buying from them completely.

This is the worst salon I have ever been to! My mom, grandmother, flowergirl and sisters got their dresses here. The dresses my sisters bought were measured wrong and Tesi ordered them the wrong sizes! A normal seamstress would order a dress to the largest size of you, but Tesi ordered to the smallest size of my girls and then had to let the dresses out. She did not tell us that the dresses when let out would be weak and not lay right on their body types. The dresses turned out horrible. On top of this, rude and sometimes brutal comments were made to my bridal party that were unprofessional and inappropriate. In the end, all of the alterations that we had done made hundreds of dollars worth of dresses fit uncomfortable. When we called Tesi and her staff about some of the mistakes, they blamed us and lied about conversations they said where had.

I would never recommend this place and can only believe that maybe we got such a horrible experience because we didn't get the bridal gown there...and now I am glad I didn't!!

Buyer beware: scammer

My experience at Tesi started out amazing. The girls there do great at making you feel comfortable and beautiful. The atmosphere with the studio lights makes it easy to say yes to the dress, like I did. They took my measurements, ordered my dress and gave me the confirmation. We decided to delay our wedding due to covid and I called Tesi, asked if my dress arrived (I was never notified at the time) and they said it was. I paid extra for storage at Tesi for an entire year. Recently I went to go try on my dress, I was not in love with it anymore and ultimately decided to take it home that day so I can try to resell it. Tesi was not expecting me to take home the dress that day. When I went to resell my dress, I was notified there were two size 12 tags (which was the floor model when I tried it on and it was too tight on me) with writing behind one of the tags and a size 14 tag in a random spot (which was the size I ordered)... so this prompted us to examine the dress closer and we found dirt on the bottom of the dress- as a floor model would have, and makeup on the inside of the dress.. so I brought the dress back to Tesi and told her what I found. Wouldn’t your first instinct as the owner be to look at the dress to see what the customer was talking about? Nope. Tesi did not even look at the dress and said the dress probably got swapped out with the person who bought the floor model dress (which doesn’t explain the two tags). so I truly believe tesi was going to clean this dress, cut off the size 12 tags, and give me my “brand new size 14 dress” that I paid full price for. Ultimately I received a full refund, but be careful where you buy your brand new dress.

No REFUND - Even when Tesi gets you the wrong Tux

Absolutely Awful! NO REFUNDS. Tesi herself has UPSET the entire wedding party Right Before the Wedding. I am the officiant of my nieces wedding. Fully paid for my two young sons tuxes and mine last December. The three tuxes came in. Here it is the Wednesday before the wedding in June and mine was Not what I ordered and was wrong in practically every fit. No REFUND period. $220 bucks + tax wasted. Plus I paid for my 2 young sons a total of $440, and my niece's entire wedding party went there along with a wedding dress bought there. Talked to Tesi herself. Absolutely no way could I get a refund. Prices are ridiculous and no refunds. Don't pay for anything until you are fitted and happy.
Better yet - Go Anywhere Else. I believe Every Tux throughout the party was a wrong fit and had to go back and get refitted. Tesi is a extremely poor business woman. In the event of a disaster, NO REFUND. I asked Tesi what if I hadn't paid in full. Her answer was than she would have had to taken the lose. Bologna - hard to believe she owns a business at all. No Morals for this business owner. I asked for a small portion back so that whatever it cost her would be covered. 0% REFUND. Tesi should be Out of Business.

Brides Beware!!! We ordered bridesmaid dresses in March for a September wedding. The dresses did not arrive until 3 weeks until the wedding. When the wedding party attempted to make appointments for alterations we were told they were booked solid and that they would have to double book us and we wouldn't get the full attention at our alteration appointments. I live 45 minutes away from the shop so when I heard that I decided to get my alterations done elsewhere. Not at any time did they warn us to make appointments prior to the dresses coming in because they only do alterations on Sundays and Wednesdays. When the dress arrived at my house, it was the WRONG COLOR! When I attempted to call the shop to speak with some one the bride had already done so and they would not answer my calls!!! I had to finally call from my desk line at work for someone to pick up the phone. They tried to hide their mistake by saying the designer had messed up but I found the copy of my orginal receipt that had the wrong color. When I finally got through to speak with someone they were less than helpful and said that the manager had already spoken to the bride and she "didn't know what to tell me." They did not do anything to help us remedy the situation. The only way they said they could help was for us to take the sample dress at the store and they were going to make us pay for the sample dress! Finally the bride decided that the maid of honor would wear the wrong color dress. It turned out beautiful but without help from Tesi. I had to drive down there 3 separate times to get fitted and finally picked my dress up the day before the wedding which I had to take off of work an extra day to do so. I still paid full price. Everytime I called the store no one knew what was going on. The communication within the shop is horrible! Everytime I called I had to explain the story over again.

I went to look at wedding dresses at Tesi's Northfield, NJ location in Oct 2012. Right off the bat I told my consultant that I wanted to try a certain dress on, however, I wanted to know how much it was first. Well, they never told me the price - just said they would pull it along with other dresses. So, I made sure I looked at the price tag of every dress they pulled. It ended up being that the first dress I tried on was THE dress. They even paired a sash with it...perfection. After trying on other dresses to compare, nothing lived up to the first one. When I tried the first one on again is when my consultant asked me my price point - AFTER I fell in love. We order the dress and sash. Fast forward to Jan 2013, I get a call that my dress is in and immediately they say, "Ok, so now you owe the remaining $700, how would you like to pay." Whoa. I explained that my mom was paying and that we would not pay the remaining money until we saw the dress. My mom went and picked it up (as I live in Pittsburgh, PA with my fiance) and there was no sash. She was told to "check the bottom of the bag" for a $200 sash. How ridiculous! Anyway, she did as instructed and nothing. They then explain to her that it will be coming in later. I call at the end of February and they tell me that the sash was out of stock and will be shipped April 26, 2013. Well, I called yesterday and they tell me that it will be in next week - the Allure Sash 46. Never hearing that style # before, I call back later and asked for the # again and for a specific order date. They couldn't give me a specific date, but said it was after my dress was ordered - so was it out of stock, or did they just forget to order it? They again confirmed Allure 46 was the sash they ordered. I look the # up online bc I had a weird feeling. Well, it's not the one I tried on or wanted. My mom now has to go into the store today to see what the hell is going on. What a terribly frustrating experience. Will update after today.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! I'm a member of a bridal party who ordered through Tesi. I had alterations done through them and even with the horrible reviews I still went though with it all. The wedding was this past Sunday and my dress came not zippered so when I went to go zipper it would not go over the belt they added on. It took over an hour and almost 15 people later to cut the belt off just to repair. I was not in many photos because of this and had to even walk to venue with dress open in back. It was horrible. I just spoke with Tessi and all she wanted was the name and number of the person who fixed the dress and said maybe she will refund that cost. NOT THE 100$ CHARGE FOR ALTERATIONS. I told them I would be getting a attorney involved and writing this review to warn future people. She didnt care, just told me not to threaten her. I did not threaten but if your not going to make an effort to help an unhappy customer then you obviously do not care about your clients. buyer beware. I think think says a lot about the staff even for local bridal parties wanting to work with this staff. DO NOT BUY FROM THERE
