Fabulous job!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. They did everything we asked, had every song we asked for and overall was a good time. Communication leading up to the event was great and honestly was just phenomenal. I recommend a million times over!! Thank you guys for such an awesome experience.

A Wonderful Night of fun and gratitude for a life time

Terry and his wife were extremely professional, caring, and on top of it the day of our wedding. They kept the reception going with introductions and fun dances. I would reccomend them to anyone especially for the price... extremely reasonable!!!!!

Terry B's DJ service exceeded our expectations! Initially we didn't realize how far he was from the venue; however he still made it here in plenty of time for to setup for our ceremony and reception. He really understood our wishes and carried them out as such. If you want someone who is experienced with weddings and can take one of the stressors off your plate on your big day, Go with Terry!

We cannot say enough good things about Terry B's DJ Service! Terry is awesome! Very professional, fun and personable. He listened to our requests and made sure that the song choices fit our style. He and Carla did a wonderful job of mixing Genre's and decades to accommodate all age ranges at our wedding. They played the right songs at the right time and the dance floor was never empty. They showed up early to set up and did a sound check for the ceremony to make sure the music and microphones worked properly. We recommend them very highly to everyone!

Terry B's DJ Service was so awesome! Everyone had such a wonderful time! Terry & Carla made sure everything ran smoothly, and they had a great playlist to accommodate all our guests. Terry and his wife did such an amazing job for our Holiday Party. They had a great selection of music and karaoke. Everyone had such a great time. They also had microphones accessible for announcements. We will definitely be using them again.

They were a lot of fun and very cooperative when we asked for the mic or special numbers. They even played Frozens Let it Go so my five year old granddaughter could sing it.

Terry B’s was extremely flexible & worked well to accommodate the audiences musical preferences based on a vague description of the music we expected the audience might have enjoyed. So, despite the fact that our organizer had no time to submit an actual playlist to Terry B’s DJ Service they were well received & our event was a huge success in part because of the service we received.

Terry B provided just what my daughter wanted for her reception. He and his help provided and set up with out needing ant any assistants other than a location for where we wanted them to set up at. All music request where met. He gave us the volume we wanted, provided Mic needs and performed all announcements with great professionalism. We are well pleased. a big Thank you to Terry B's DJ service.

He was a great dj everyone had a great time . I would recommend him to everyone . The only thing is he charged me same price for ceremony and reception and I only used him for reception . Other then that he was awsome !!!

The advice I would give to a couple on why to use Terry B as a DJ, would be because he was on time and very flexible and professionalism was great. I would also use Terry B again at one of my functions.

Terry B's DJ Service was responsive and easy to work with. We live in a different state than where our reception was held and Terry B was able to meet with us with little warning on one of our planning trips. Terry B kept the reception going with an extensive music selection and made all the announcements.

Terry and Carla were great! They were on-time, sent out a detailed questionnaire beforehand that helped us know how the big day would go, and were very thoughtful and attentive during the ceremony and reception. They were also flexible when we had to change the contract after signing the initial one, and struck a great balance of being a fun presence without making themselves the center of attention.

If you want a DJ that can mix his/her songs into each other like a ideal DJ then pay the extra money for it. I was kind of on a budget so I went with Terry, he did a great job on what I paid for and did what I asked when needed. Some downfalls but nothing major on the wedding day.

Terry B was great with communication and the pre wedding song checklist, however day of my coordinator mentioned he was late and my mom and sister both mentioned that his professionalism and responsiveness was lacking. There were no major problems, and for the price it wasn't an issue. He just didn't do anything above and beyond to warrant 5 stars. The woman who was working with him was not very helpful or friendly.

Terry and Carla are very nice and friendly, and they were a decent DJ/emcee pair for a good price. A couple weeks before the wedding we realized we needed them and their speakers/mics for the actual ceremony in addition to DJing, and they added that service on no problem.
Terry was good about checking in with me before moving on to different points in the evening. We were supposed to do toasts right after dinner, but my husband and I really wanted to be able to greet all our guests at the tables, so he let us keep saying "five more minutes," "five more minutes," until we were done.
Carla did a great job with my big ask for the wedding, which was a father-daughter dance that started with a traditional song and then record-scratched into an upbeat dancy song to kick off the party. The music was pretty good, although not always seamlessly mixed between songs.
One major issue we encountered was that Terry mispronounced our last name when he announced us, despite checking/confirming with us 30 seconds before. It was a bit awkward, but he did then say it correctly (it's now a family joke, actually!). The other slightly awkward moment was when he stopped us right before we were exiting (about to run through a tunnel of people and say goodbye to our families). He was very nice and thanked us for the night, but everything he said could have easily been communicated via an email or later phone call instead of throwing off the groove of the moment.
If you're looking for a decent DJ at a good price, then definitely consider Terry and Carla. If you're looking for a seamless DJ/emcee experience with no hiccups, this may not be the choice for you. Just realize while they are very flexible and will go with the flow, you will have to do some of the same for them.

DJ played the playlists I requested, which was really important to me. However, he was really hard to get ahold of the weeks leading up to the wedding and ended up not having all of the equipment needed for my instrumentalists (which we went over ahead of time). The guests ended up waiting an extra 10 minutes for the ceremony to start while they set up. Overall, he was awesome during the reception, but wasn't as great with coordinating the ceremony.

The music quality was good and the DJ seemed very organized at first. As soon as we had made a payment they sent a survey out asking what music wants to be played at what times and very detailed information as to who was coming out when. However we found them to be very unprofessional as the day of the event came closer. They were difficult to get a hold of via email as I had more questions for them. On the way to the venue the day of the event I (the bride) was getting emails from them asking specifics about the music which they had been given over two weeks before the event. They had also asked me if it was okay for them to bring their baby. I was in a very tough position because if I said no I would have been out of a DJ for my wedding. As the wedding progressed the DJs were difficult to work with according to our photographer. The music was also cut quickly on our 1st dance as husband and wife. They were also unorganized because they did not come with the list of names of the members of the wedding party to announce them into dinner... in fact they forgot our best man in the announcement. We were quite disappointed with the level of professionalism from these DJs.

I was a guest at an event and they were the DJ

I witnessed unprofessional conduct on the part of this DJ service. The male spent a large amount of time flirting with guests instead of doing his job and the female was busy watching and feeding the infant they arrived with.

They did not show up until 10 min before my ceremony and when the time came for the ceremony they couldnt get the music to play, so I had to have friends play it from their phone on my my venues system. I had sent a Playlist to them and felt like they did not follow my Playlist at all except for the special dances (first dance, father daughter dance, ect.) They also seemed to keep changing songs without letting them play through. Overall I was pretty let down by the whole dj experience.

Brought nursing baby

On the day of the wedding, they emailed the bride to let her know she would be bringing her nursing baby. Super unprofessional.

The music was stop and start and they both (I think husband and wife?) seemed very disorganized. Most weddings I’ve been to (and it’s a lot) the DJ service is upbeat and fun, gets the crowd excited, and generally stays engaged throughout. I’m not sure if the baby was the main distraction, but they definitely didn't bring the hype.

When the bride emailed to express her frustrations and ask for a partial refund, they refused and mentioned their disappointment that the bride didn’t mention up front that this was a same sex marriage. Homophobia looks good on NO ONE.

Just so bummed that this vendor put a damper on my friends special day.

Homophobic, unprepared, and unable to deliver

This service doesn’t arrange for their own childcare, just expect you to be ok with bringing infants along. Then they whine when they realize they have to provide service to gay couples. Homophobic, Horrible, unprofessional service.

Worst service ever! Day of my wedding I get and email asking if they can bring their baby who she is breastfeeding to our wedding! I had no choice but to say yes since my wedding was within hours. Upon arriving they made comments about having to play the whole ceremony and reception. Loud enough for my guests to hear and mention to me. My walk down the aisle song was played for all of 2 seconds and when this was mentioned to them I was told I walked to fast. Umm.. No woman walks that fast in 5 inch heels and a ballgown. Then 3 songs were played before they got to our actual first dance song. They didn't hype the crowd, they needed ques from my photographer who they blamed for their shitty service. To top it off the said I should have informed them it was a same sex wedding. Why should that matter? They obviously took my money but yet won't return any of it and take no blame for the shit service they provided. They passed blame on everyone except themselves for the service they provided. I have also learned that they bring their babies to all their weddings and ask the bride last minute as they know it's unprofessional and not ok but gives the brides no other choice but to say yes. Had I knows they were homophobic and and would provide horrible service due to it being a same sex wedding I would have never in a MILLION years even thought about hiring them. Please DO Not use them for your wedding.

Ridiculous

Same sex couples are to be respected and treated just as any couple. Horrible service was given to my friends at their wedding. Wish I could give 0 stars. You are a shame to the wedding business.

Same sex couples are equal

Your behavior at our friends wedding was appalling. A) bringing your baby not ok. But even worse is telling them they should have told you who they were marrying before they hired you. Isn’t this site only for those who are accepting of all?? Your behavior was not ok.
