Terry was fab!

Terry handled our wedding with care and professionalism, and she went the extra mile for us on some things she didn't have to. She understood my decor vision and executed it to perfection.

Her handling all the details and vendors, really took the pressure off of us during our trip to Jamaica as we were hosting at least 25 people at our hotel. We simply showed up and had a blast.

Terry was incredibly professional and if we were doing a vow renewal in the future, I would certainly use Terry's services again. 10/10!

I would hire her again!

Terri is the BEST. Words can’t describe how pleased I was with the experience of working with her, from start to finish. The process started in August of 2020 when I did a simple Google Search for wedding decorators in Jamaica (I was based in the southeastern U.S.) and lasted until the wedding day in July 2021. From every point in the process, Terri maintained the utmost professionalism, efficiency, and warmth. Her decorating and day-of-coordination services made my wedding day the most perfect day of my life thus far. I highly recommend her to all of those seeking to have their wedding in Jamaica. You won’t be disappointed.

Best Planner in the Game!

There are not enough words to describe how invaluable Terri and her team were to us. We planned a destination wedding in Jamaica that had to be postponed due to COVID, and she made sure we were set every step of the way. If you are considering a Jamaican wedding, you MUST hire her! She helped us work through curfew, travel requirements, hire vendors, put together welcome bags, and coordinate the big day. Her floral and decor was STUNNING and there was not an ounce of stress on me or my husband on our big day. We couldn’t have done this without her!

We found @terrievents on IG and asked some general questions about making our wedding day a reality on a budget. We were then drawn to Terri's professionalism and her willingness to assist. Even though she wasn't contracted, she generously invested her time into finding us venues and other vendors to match our budget. A family member then recommended a venue with a package that included a coordinator but the way were were treated by Terri before paying her a dollar we decided we had to do business with her. We are glad we did! She has premium organizational skills, we forgot our flower girl basket and she provided one in addition to petals on the day. She made bouquets and boutonnieres for our bridal party and they were breathtaking. We put them in water and enjoyed them in our homes long after the wedding. Everything flowed smoothly and we know it was all thanks to her amazing skillset. Terri, we trusted you with our day and you delivered everything we needed and more. Thank you! Detailed planning and smooth execution

Terri ensured that everything was covered in the planning and all was perfect on the day.

She and her team member even some gaps that wouldn’t appear in scope for a wedding planner.

We felt the presence and were pleased with the results.

Best Wedding planner

Terri was great to work with, she made our wedding so wonderful and beautiful. Planning a wedding long distance was difficult, but she really made the process a lot easier. I don't know what we would have done without her. Thank you soooo.... much!!!

Best decision we made for our wedding!

Terri and her team were amazing through everything. Planning a wedding in Negril while living in California was quite stressful but Terri made it so much easier for us. She’s incredibly flexible and accommodating for all of our wants and needs, she really made everything happen. The day of the wedding everything turned out so beautifully it was like a dream. Everyone at the wedding couldn’t believe what all she did for our budget and thought it was 3 times what we spent. She really took our vision and brought it to life. I would highly recommend using Terri Myrie events for planning your wedding in Jamaica, you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Terri and team for everything!

Could not be happier!

Terri and her team exceeded my expectations for my big day. Although I was a bit undecided at times, Terri took my vision and made it a reality! Terri came in very late in the process, because of issues that I was having with my initial wedding planner, but she was so patient, always available, and super easy to work with.

The big day went smoothly and Terri was so organised and professional ... I would work with Terri again in a heartbeat ... and I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner ... particularly persons who may be planning a destination wedding.

Destination weddings are not easy. Terri made it so much easier for me. She was wonderful to work with. I found her through Instagram and hired her as my decorator/coordinater. She went above and beyond to make sure my day was perfect.

Day of coordinator

I recently hired Terri as my day of coordinator for my Montego Bay wedding. The venue I was getting married at already had a coordinator but I wanted someone specific for my needs. Terri came in and helped with everything from music, our guests arrangements, shuttles, and more. Would hire again.

Amazing!! Incredible

Where to start, it was amazing working with Terri, she worked in the capacity of our day-of-coordinator and decorator, but she did so much more!!! I was clueless with this wedding thing and she guided me in the right direction, anything I asked she had a solution. If I saw something I liked at someone else's wedding she knew how to get it and make it unique. She was very responsive in her replies and importantly never late!! Always on time when it came to meetings. I had her running up and down to find me the perfect centre piece and man she exceeded expectations. She helped in making my wedding PERFECT!!! I would recommend her to everyone. Already even telling my single friends, lol to make sure they use her in the future for their wedding . Thanks so much Terri.

Terri was a joy to work with. I live in the UK and put all of my trust in the hands of Terri to produce the wedding that I had dreamed of and she ticked all of the boxes. She was flexible, creative and always had a quick response to my many queries. She has many contacts so it was a one stop shop - she took care of everything!

To be honest I only spoke to Terry twice on my wedding day and everything seemed to have just happened as if by magic! Everybody commented on how wonderful the reception and ceremony were and had a wonderful time. So thanks Terri for pulling it all together. You are a star!

Terri is such an amazing person...from the start when I sent her a message for a quote her response was quick and then I spoke to her on the phone and she has an excellent communication skill and she made us feel comfortable and we knew she would be the person of choice or our special day. Throughout the process she was easily and readily accessible and always had welcoming attitude. She made our special day come to life with ease. found out about Terri from someone else I did business with and the moment i messaged her she been on top of everything. there was nothing i asked for that she didnt try to make possible. the decoration was over the top and beautiful. we celebrated my mom 60th birthday and planning from overseas was challenging but Terri made eveything better. i would definitely recommend her to anybody she did her job and beyond that. thanks Terri for everything keep up the great work.

My husband and I decided that we wanted to get married in Jamaica. We are from Bermuda. I initially started my wedding planning with one of my cousins that lived in Jamaica and decided it was time to search for a wedding planner as it was becoming a bit overwhelming. I started my search on the Internet. I reached out to a few planners but wasn't pleased as they took long to get back to me. One evening, I joined a Facebook group called "The Wedding Connection". A female suggested to everyone to use wedding wire for planning a wedding. I downloaded the app on my phone. I went under the wedding planner tab and read reviews and services provided by each planner. My second voice kept on telling me to click on Terri Myrie. I listened and was amazed at the services offered, the price and the fantastic reviews. I automatically made up my mind and said Terri is my planner and I wanted her on my team. I sent a message to Terri and she replied back promptly. To make a story short, I accepted her proposal and we started the planning together. My mind was finally at ease. Terri communicated with me ongoing. She provided recommendations, contacted various vendors, did site visits, sent me videos, did my decorations for the church and reception, was my florist, did welcome bags for overseas guests, dealt with my marriage license, gave me tips and advice, did my menu cards and so much more. She is very professional and loves what she does. It showed in her work produced. Terri was very pleasant, positive and definitely kept me on my toes. Terri was an organized person and we got along very well. Terri was trustworthy which was keen to me. She made my day special, amazing and beautiful. You wouldn't go wrong in using Terri's services. I would recommend her to anyone who is planning a destination wedding.

My wedding was canceled and it could have been the most horrible experience of my life but thanks to Terri it wasn't. Professionally, she worked tirelessly to plan the wedding within a short timeframe (6 months). She really listened to our vision for the ceremony and reception and her solutions were always well thought out and creative. When it was decided to postpone the wedding for reasons unrelated to the planning, Terri was not only understanding but flexible and empathetic. She adjusted quickly with decor, food, furniture, music and logistics helping us to modify our event to a wonderful party for family and friends. Words can't express my gratitude for turning a disaster into a festive function. I recommend Terri for your wedding, party, or any other occasion that requires a highly qualified and committed coordinator who will provide an amazing experience for you and your guests. Lady Myrie as I affectionately refer to Terri Myrie was chosen from a list of Wedding Planners I discovered on Instagram. We spoke over the phone and via email prior to meeting. When we met. ...that was it. Our initial meeting had us leaving color swatches and we haven't even signed a contract!
Lady Myrie is very knowledgeable in her craft and this comes across with just how calm she is. We showed her our vision and she executed it to the letter!!!
The Decor was breathtakingly Beautiful!
She's very organized and comes very well connected. She got us exceptional vendors to work with, and ensured that the day flowed. Exactly what you need when planning a wedding miles away from home.
We truly loved our experience working with Lady Myrie and her team and we recommend her without hesitation!

We booked Terri Myrie approximately 30 days before our vow renewal ceremony. Within two days of us booking with Terri, She coordinated and met with the venue owner to see the venue and to go over the details of our event. She was absolutely amazing to work with, she executed everything we requested and she stayed under budget. She also threw in a couple of surprises to make the event special for us. I would definitely recommend her and if I ever host another event in Jamaica I would book her again. Not only is she detail oriented and organized, but she has a lovely personality too.

Terri is simply the best!! We had never been to Jamaica before we planned our wedding there and Terri walked us through every step to make it truly perfect! From suggestions of vendors, negotiating contracts and following up Terri was there every second and incredibly responsive to all of our questions. Day of, her and her assistant did an incredible job making everything go smoothly with as little influence needed from us so that we could enjoy our day as well. Thank you for everything!

Terri was an absolute joy to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone planning an event. We planned our own wedding and made arrangements with individual vendors but I was looking for a day of coordinator to ensure that everything went smoothly and that someone was available to oversee the many different details. Our wedding was fairly non-traditional and others we had spoken to were condescending and not willing to see our vision. Terri never once questioned our plans and worked hard to ensure that our wedding was the event we had envisioned. Terri went above and beyond our expectations and helped me think of things that I had forgotten to consider. We had two calls in preparation and met in person a couple days beforehand. She followed up with each of our vendors and was very organized. We are so thankful for the support that Terri provided and I hope that we will have an opportunity to meet again.

First I must say that the reason I chose her was her timeliness in responding and her attention to detail. She comes off very professional and that is indeed how she is. We hired her to coordinate the week of and she scheduled meetings ahead of time to ensure that she knows what the day should look like. She spoke and coordinated with vendors. But more importantly, she did as was asked. I wanted to be a guest at my own wedding and the sky could be falling and I wanted her to take care of it and she did exactly that. She allowed me to enjoy my day and take it all in. Even with a late florist and me failing to give her the seating chart, she executed and as my husband says, kept her cool and calm.

Lets first be clear....Terri was recommended to me, we have no relations prior to my wedding. Her pleasant demeanor and enthusiasm drew me to her. Terri Myrie is very diplomatic and very professional. She takes the time to understand your needs and budget. She is very detailed oriented and has the brain of an elephant, (never forgets). The execution was flawless and she ensured my day was stress free. Not only did she pay special attention to my bridal party but she ensured the guests were completely satisfied. My husband and I entrusted Ms Terri Myrie with one of the most important events of our lives and I must say that we have no regrets with our choice. Ms Myrie handled all our wedding planning needs as if it were her own wedding. Terri Myrie Event offered nothing but the best services. They are very flexible and professional. From my dress rehearsal to the on-the-day coordination Miss Myrie ensured that all my ideas played out. She went above my husband's and I expectations. My wedding was well organized and it flow just as how i dreamed it to be. Miss Myrie went the extra to see to it that fussy me went relax and enjoyed the day that was beautiful and filled with life long memories. I would recommend her to anyone at anytime.

We had to plan everything from abroad so it was a great help having Terri in Jamaica to organise the particulars for us. We also had to change a lot of things last minute due to the weather. I was relieved how flexible Terri could adjust our plans at short notice to a new venue and make the place look lovely. The wedding was on a budget and Terri tried to keep things to our budget and certain things were not booked until we were sure we needed them. Everything came together on the day and it was a magical occasion.

In October 2010, my husband and I were blessed to celebrate our wedding day with 110
of our closest family members and friends. During the planning months that preceded it,
we engaged Ms. Myrie to assist us in finding and liaising with vendors, helping us with
creative and unique ideas and advising us on general wedding protocols.
I had no concerns in leaving one of the most special days of our lives in Ms. Myrie’s
hands. She was reliable and efficient. The evening ran beautifully thanks to her
awareness and responsiveness.

Terri successfully organized a lot of moving pieces for our destination wedding including transportation from two different airports to different villas and hotels.
She helped us stay on budget and remembered all the details we were likely to forget....

Terri was very patient and accommodating. She was able to take our suggestions and bring them to life. Most importantly she managed all the other vendors on the big day and ensured things ran smoothly (and on time). We were very happy with the outcome.

Difficult to work with wedding planner

We paid a deposit for Terri’s full wedding planning service. We received poor communication and a lot of attitude, especially when we had suggested using other reputable vendors that was not on her list. She made the entire experience unpleasant and we dreaded having meetings with her because of her poor energy and mean disposition. Luckily, we ended up terminating our contract with Terri and using a different wedding planner with the exact same vendors that she didn’t want us to use. Although we lost our deposit, terminating our contract with Terri was the best decision made because we ended up have an amazing, unforgettable wedding with the new planner.
