  Beyond Pleased!

  Our daughter got married two days ago!!! I couldn't wait another minute to toot Dan’s horn. He was so organized and thorough throughout the entire planning process. He has a knack for putting your mind at ease and we went into the day with amazing confidence. His energy, creativity and passion for what he does is immeasurable. Dan is FAST and efficient, which left some much-needed time for breathers and a little R & R before the reception. We appreciated how Dan went above and beyond in setting the timeline for the day, and what a relief that was! Before the night’s end we starting seeing little blips of photos taken through the evening...Even these unedited, raw photos were perfection! We've now been seeing some more images of the day and... WOW... the composition, the lighting... we're blown away. Dan, we love you like family! People, this IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER!

  I imagine I can't say anything that hasn't already been said! Daniel Terpstra is a superb addition to your list of wedding vendors. He was everything he said he'd be; alarmingly comfortable, timely, amusing, friendly, unassuming and "right there" for every great shot! He listened to us and helped us make our daughter's wedding more memorable. We haven't received the deliverables yet, but we are so impressed with the quick turnaround time on the wedding photos that we KNOW the books are going to be amazing. He turned out to be essential to the enduring success of a day that you can't get back...unless he's your photographer, then you can relive it all you want! Daniel Terpstra has an incredible eye and a great sense of vision.

  I have been meaning to write this review for a long time, but I wanted to be able to sit down and write Dan the review he deserves. I’ve so enjoyed looking back through wedding photos on our one year anniversary (can’t believe a year has already flown by!) because Dan did such a beautiful job. If you want someone who is organized, thorough, and a talented photographer, you should hire Terpstra Photography for your wedding (or any event for that matter). Dan is very experienced and patient, and he goes above and beyond by taking the time to sit down with you beforehand to plan a detailed schedule for the day. He’s realistic with expectations and offers great advice to make sure your wedding goes as smoothly as possible. Since he’s seen so many scenarios, his expertise is invaluable. He also offers an engagement shoot as a great way to get to know the couple (not to mention some fantastic save the date photos).
  
  On the day of, Dan is extremely professional and organized, and he is very respectful of the couple’s vision. He’s very energetic and gives his all into making your big day go smoothly (including being able to corral big groups to get some great shots). His service is very personal, and he feels much more like a guest and a friend than someone you’ve hired.
  
  After the wedding, Dan was FAST in getting our photos to us!!! It was amazing. He had compiled the highlights into a “Story of the Day” album less than two weeks after our wedding! We were able to look at the photos the week we got back from our honeymoon. The photographs are incredible; Dan truly has amazing talent. He captured the moments of our big day wonderfully, and everyone was so impressed with how well he captured the nuanced expressions and situations. Thank you again Dan for capturing our big day so beautifully.

  My husband and I were lucky enough to have Dan as a photographer at our wedding reception. He worked extremely hard to ensure that we were comfortable, excited and looking our best for each and every photo. Dan's humor and creative drive helped us look natural through our individual, couple and group shots. He reminded us to laugh and even made family photos fun. Dan is open to new ideas, will work to get the perfect shots (even in the rain) and was a breath of fresh air on a very busy day. We really appreciated his expertise, suggestions and ambition to make our dream photos come to life. I would highly recommend Dan as a wedding photographer. He will work tirelessly to ensure that you have wedding photos that you can cherish for years to come. He is a lighting master, one who isn't afraid to bend over backwards (maybe sometimes literally) to get that perfect shot and who has a true passion for photography and clients. Dan was quick to provide us with a photo previews both via email and social media. He captured the essence of our special day and we are very grateful to him for making the photo session meaningful and unique to us. Do yourself a favor and book him while you can!

  Dan was amazing to work with, he surpassed my expectations he helped make our wedding day go smoothly and made sure that my new husband and I got all the shots we wanted without feeling like we had to rush for anything. The sneek peek shots we've seen so far were amazing and I can't wait to see the rest because they were so spectacular. Would recommend him to everyone I know for any picture needs. My cousin even is planning to use him for his senior pictures. He was just perfect!!! Wish I could rate him even higher.

  My fiance and I both hate being the "center of attention" and really dont like having our picture taken so we were very nervous about having a photographer follow us around all day. Dan was truly amazing. He has an awesome sense of humor and a way of making you feel totally comfortable and at ease on your wedding day. He made sure we were where we were supposed to be at all times, all the while getting some truly amazing photos of us around St. Joseph, MI and at the beach. He went above and beyond- showing up an hour early to find potential rain locations for photos and he even drove to our reception location to get the flowers for the wedding party when we forgot to pick them up. My fiance and I felt totally at ease with Dan; he kept us laughing and smiling all day and night. Our guests all raved that he was "everywhere" while he tried to get all the best shots and that he was so polite and friendly. We got to see our proofs last night and we are in love (and I should mention his prices are very fair and competitive..he will work with you). Dan was, by far, the best vendor we worked with and is truly a very gifted and talented photographer.

  Dan Terpstra did a phenomenal job as my wedding photographer!!! My friends and family were amazed with the quality of his photographs. Every moment that mattered to us as the bride and groom was captured and more. As a bride I felt it important to have some time with my sisters right before the ceremony. Dan was able to capture that time with my sisters in a discreet way. When it was time to take photos as a group he had us all laughing and excited for the next shot!
  My husband and I are so thankful we had Terpstra Photography for our wedding. It was a fun experience and we would recommend this photography for any bride/groom who wants great quality photographs!

  Dan did a spectacular job photographing our engagement pictures and wedding. He not only has a great sense of humor and is fun to be around, he takes a great variety of photos with various styles. We have pictures that are sentimental, romantic, goofy and funny. He puts everyone at ease by cracking silly jokes and just being laid back. I don't think there's much he wouldn't do to get a great picture, all you need to do is ask. Our wedding guests repeatedly commented about how much they liked our photographer and that was event before they saw the pictures! I highly recommend him.

  Dan did a spectacular job photographing our engagement pictures and wedding. He not only has a great sense of humor and is fun to be around, he takes a great variety of photos with various styles.
