Michelle made our wedding day perfect. The venue was beautiful, they did an excellent job setting up everything exactly how I wanted. She was communicative and helpful.

We looked on line at varies venues when we were planning our wedding. Tennessee Gardens was the only place we actually went to see. The venue has everything we wanted. A gazebo to get married in and the open outdoors for our reception. Michelle was so friendly & always available when we had questions. I was at ease the day of our wedding as Michelle & her wonderful staff took care of everything. Our guests absolutely loved our wedding. From the atmosphere, to the food, to the yummy cake. We made the right chose having our wedding at Tennessee Gardens.

Beautiful outdoor setting with twinkling lights everywhere . Flowers are always in bloom which lessens the cost for decorations. Venue includes cake, food, and DJ, which makes wedding planning less stressful! Cake is from Michelle's Bakery (which is absolutely delicious. I had DJ Joel for my wedding, and he did absolutely amazing. I completely recommend choosing Joel to DJ your wedding.

The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and Joel, the DJ/coordinator was absolutely amazing! He provided me with the exact wedding that I wanted. I was so impressed with the way he handled everything resulting in our wedding day going very smoothly. I highly recommend Tennessee Gardens - the price was EXTREMELY reasonable for an all-inclusive wedding/reception!

(As for my three stars on responsiveness - there were a few times when we didn't get a call back after leaving a message, your best bet is to call back until you get through.)

I had my ceremony here wish I could of done the while wedding but unfortunately it was a little too much for me I loved everything was very nice. We did the rehearsal two days before I gave the lady all decorations and they set up for me so I didn't have to worry about doing that the day of. We didn't have to pay the rest of the money till the day of rehearsal and most places want you to pay two weeks in advance. It's a beautiful place. For only having the ceremony it was a bit pricey but it was the cheapest I found.

I worked with a woman named Rhonda. She organized everything that would be included in the cost of the day: ceremony outside under gazebo, chair/table rentals for attached garden reception, setting up "MY" decorations, catering & open bar, bakery, scheduling, bridal suite, as well as the on-site florist not included in the cost. Rhonda was amazing! She was on top of everything and very in tune to my needs and my requests.

The problem came from the owner of the venue named Michelle. I spoke with her once before the big day about the open bar. I questioned if there would be enough alcohol, since I was paying for an open bar for 180 guests. I expressed my concerns about types of alcohol and amount needed.

On the day of the wedding, it started out fine. I noticed no problems that I should worry about. Later, during the reception, there was talk that the venue was running out of alcohol and that the woman(Michelle) was being very rude to guests. She even confronted my mother during the reception to complain that the alcohol was going low. Of course, my mother was unsympathetic since we had paid for unlimited alcohol and she was warned. The evening got worse with her attitude toward many guests. Sadly, Rhonda was so embarrassed by Michelle's unprofessionalism that she quit the next morning.

I am happy to say I knew of almost none of this until the next day. I loved the ceremony/gazebo area and the ajoining garden area for the reception. There was plenty of parking for guests and a nice bridal suite for me/my things for the evening. Being outdoors was wonderful and the twinkle lights around the garden were beautiful. Not many places for pictures though...go somewhere else ahead of time for those.

A little piece of heaven hidden in Redlands!

    Never Again

Very pretty, especially at night.. that is the best I can say about this venue.

Michelle, owner, was not very nice or flexible. Ceremony chairs were disgusting and wedding party was out cleaning them. They were so gross our 5 year old flower girl did not even want to sit on them.
Paid for a champagne toast, but our guests were not given a champagne.
Bridal room was filthhy, poorly air conditioned, smelled of eggs, toilet was broken, ants and spiders in the restroom.
Michelle was rude to the wedding party.
Was no where to be found for majority of day.
It was really just a disappointment.
There was one man I think his name was John, he was very great.

    Traffic, worst Italian food & a skunk-Oh-My!

Traffic made the vows difficult to hear. The worst Italian food ever, everyone that ate cupcakes tuned lips dark blue, hard to wash off, thought I was at a Goth or punk rock themed wedding. A skunk strolled around the parking area & behind the Bride & Groom during vows like it owned the place or at least did the cooking. If you are looking for a place for your wedding PLEASE look elsewhere. If you are the owner or manager of this venue take a few classes to learn about the service industry & hire a a proper chef.

    Wedding nazi

In the beginning while planning this wedding, I thought everything was going to be amazing. But the problem started a couple days before the wedding when all the sudden she told me she couldn't get the sea bass that we had ordered for our food for the wedding and that we had to choose something different. If that was the only problem that would have been minor in comparison all of our guests complained that she acted like a wedding Nazi. When the guest would go to get their food she would just say beef fish and not what kind of fish and not what kind of beef therefore somebody who is allergic to halibut head of specifically pull it out of her what kind of fish was being served . She also didn't give our guests the choice of having a little bit of both which was supposed to be the way that it was supposed to be percentage to my guests as they got their food. The things that I spent a lot of money and effort to give as party favors for used at table decorations instead therefore none of my guests getting their party favors also I had bought Hershey Kisses with labels that I had to apply to them and dinner mints and they were just stuck in a bucket instead of the Mr and Mrs candy dishes that I bought they were just thrown in a box behind the building. I had to in the middle of my wedding asked for the screen to be put out that I specifically asked for my tac board. The fruit and cheese and crackers that we ordered as a snack while we were doing the pictures after the ceremony they barely had any cheese and crackers and only fruit and that also happened at a friend that she went to a wedding a couple weeks prior same damn thing. The venue and the minister both knew that we were having a booze boy who was going to be handing out little shot bottles of booze but yet she came through the pre-ceremony and took everybody's beer saying that the minister will not marry us if anybody has a beer in hand that was not the deal the deal was the minister would not marry us if the bride or groom or wedding party was drunk. Also we were told that don't worry about freezing the cake because they will make us another one for a 1-year anniversary giving us the impression that they do that as free as part of your package but we also later found out that no we would have to pay for that. And I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things but very disappointed on how some of the things went. Oh also anything that we brought to the venue we should be getting back as I paid for those things I asked about getting my aisle runner back and she told me that it was thrown away and that was going to be part of something that was going to go into my memory book. Very disappointing and very saddened by this.

The venue is sweet and adorable and that's where the positive comments stop. They promised us sooooo much and in return gave us nothing. There were so many issues, here are just a few.

One of my dear friends was decorating to help make a nice place for pictures and was harassed by staff. The food was cold and very small portions. My husband and I were served our plate minus a potato. The server handed my Father the wrong meal and then told him to just see who else wanted it. Chairs broke while guest were sitting in them.

I could go on. The only saving grace this facility has is their DJ Joel. Him and his wife are saviors and go above and beyond to help make your day everything it should be.

I would not recommend Tennessee Gardens to anyone for ANY event. Beware, they make a fabulous first impression but drop the ball in the end.
