We could not have been more pleased with having our daughter’s wedding at Temple Emanuel. Lia Fischer, the Special Events Manager at Temple Emanuel, was accessible every time we needed information, had a walk through for the vendors, and facilitated working with the city of Beverly Hills for permits. Permits were a necessary part of the having a wedding of our size, and Lia and our wedding coordinator were helpful with that process. We used the Corwin Sanctuary and Social Hall which was a perfect setting for our 178 guests. We had Havadallah in the outdoor foyer area, using heat lamps (it was in December!), and the wedding ceremony was in the Sanctuary. We had a 5-piece band, and the stage worked well for them. The staff at Temple Emanuel was always available. There are various colors of ceiling lights in the Social Hall and they add to the ambience of the evening. Some venues require use of their preferred vendors, Temple Emanuel is open to outside vendors as long as they carry insurance. Since we had specific vendors we wanted to use, this was important for us. The Bridal Suite was roomy, comfortable, clean, and had a small refrigerator for storing snacks during our hair/makeup session. Temple Emanuel was the perfect setting for us. Rabbi Sarah Bassin from Temple Emanuel performed our wedding ceremony and did a fantastic job! We are still hearing from guests about how great Sarah was and made our ceremony so personal and enjoyable for all.Rabbi Sarah Bassin from Temple Emanuel performed our wedding ceremony and did a fantastic job! Excellent service and customizable space!!!
We had our wedding here and worked with the lovely Lia Fischer. Lia was super helpful and even connected us to some amazing vendors. Rabbi Jonathan Aaron married us - and everyone raved that our ceremony was the best they had ever been to. One of the many reasons we chose Temple Emanuel is because it’s centrally located and in beautiful Beverly Hills. It’s easily accessible for all family members old and young. We also loved the stage and since we wanted a live band we we’re very happy with the flexibility of being able to have live music until midnight. My husband and I even got up and performed with the band. He played the Bass and I sang! You really can’t beat the package and price that you get at Temple Emanuel which includes their beautiful venue in Beverly Hills and you can really stylize it any way you want. It’s also one of the only venues that offers so much flexibility with allowing you to use your own vendors, and the ability to to provide your own bar. However - if you need some help in that department they have some great vendors that frequently work there and do a great job! In addition to all of that the Temple includes all the tables and chivari chairs, and can accommodate over 300 guests. We were so happy with the way everything turned out and we’re very grateful to Lia and the team at Temple Emanuel!!!We had our wedding here and worked with the lovely Lia Fischer. My Wedding was the BEST day of my life!!!
I had the best wedding reception and ceremony at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills. Rabbi Aaron provided excellent pre-marriage counseling and advice, and both him and Cantor Weiss presided over a beautiful ceremony. The reception in Greer hall was amazing! The extraordinary Lia Fischer meticulously worked with my vendors and wedding planner ( the also extraordinary Cindy Hassel of SRO events), which was critical for me because my job provides me no free time. The venue accommodated a 10 piece band as well. I had friends tell me that it was the best wedding they have ever attended. A certain couple I know with very discerning taste said it was in the top 3 weddings they've ever attended (and they're 65+ years old!). Most importantly, it was the best day of my life. I couldn't imagine my wedding being anywhere else, and it couldn't have happened without the beautiful, private, spacious, amazingly located, and reasonably priced venue, and it definitely couldn't have happened without Lia Fischer! Ask Lia to show you all the photos from Emily A's wedding when you check it out! :)I had the best wedding reception and ceremony at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills. My husband and I immediately felt welcome at Temple Emanuel. The staff and clergy were very welcoming and engaged throughout of entire wedding planning process through to the end of the wedding night itself. Rabbi Bassin and Cantor Weiss met with us many time in the months preceding our wedding to help prepare us for the wedding day itself, as well as for the beginning of our marriage overall. The wedding ceremony was personalized and incredibly meaningful. Our reception was held next door in the beautiful reception area, which includes elegant lighting, silver chivari chairs, an industrial kitchen, a large dance floor, and a stage for our band. Many of our guests commented on the beauty of the sanctuary and reception area. Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of! We highly recommend Temple Emanuel for anyone planning a wedding in the Los Angeles area.My husband and I immediately felt welcome at Temple Emanuel. I cannot say enough good things about my experience just having my wedding here 2 days ago. The entire staff from Lia Fischer to Rabbi Jonathan Aaron to the security in front was so welcoming and invested in making my wedding go as stress free and beautiful as possible. Nothing but great people willing to help you make it a positive experience in a beautiful temple. Look up photos of the ballroom's ceiling lights and spacious stage. I am remiss in submitting this review. We held a summer program at Temple Emanuel for several weeks this past summer (2015), and we are still talking about it regularly. It was simply the most hospitable location we've ever worked. Everyone - from the security guards and the front desk staff, to the top administrators - were warm, responsive, and accommodating. Whenever anything needed attention, they were on top of it immediately.
I would recommend this venue for any event rental. Everything is beautiful, and Lia is a true professional who is great at her job.I am remiss in submitting this review. We booked Temple Emanuel back in March of 2014 for our June 14, 2015 wedding. Lia was such a pleasure to work with and the venue space was so perfect for what we wanted. It’s a huge space and the venue provides tables and silver chiavari chairs for up to 299 people, I believe. We had about 150 and we were very comfortable! They configure things any which way you like and all the setup is done before you arrive. They have a lot of hard working people on their team! Kaitlynn and Karolina made the day go so smoothly; Karolina did such a great job of setting everything up and if we needed anything changed, she was right there to help! Kaitlynn did a great job of making sure the party was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. I opted not to hire any wedding planner or day-of coordinator which would not have been possible without such an amazing venue. Oh yeah, security and parking were included as well!
One of my favorite things about the venue was the bridal suite where we were able to get ready. My four bridesmaids, me, my mom, groom’s mom, my aunt, and two videographers were very comfortable while we got ready in there. We had everything we needed there! A touchless sink & toilet, a steamer, seating, and a mini fridge. It was really nice to be able to get ready at the venue – it cut down on travel time and expense.
Another plus is the onsite, full kitchen our caterer was able to use. I think that made it a lot easier for them to keep the food warm and fresh.
All of this was so reasonably priced that we couldn’t believe it was in Beverly Hills!

First off, I want to just say that our wedding was a blast! Second off, we wanted to have a beautiful wedding without having to take out a loan from the bank (yes, people do that). We had gone to at least 5 other venues before landing on Temple Emanuel and most other places were charging between $10K-$25K which is insane because we weren't even using their food (we used kosher catering). A friend had told us about Temple Emanuel so we went to check them out. It was a great size for the amount of people we had but you could DEFINITELY fit a lot more people in there (I think their max is at 300 guests).
I loved how they actually had a space for the ceremony so that we wouldn't have to melt in the heat outside! (A lot of other places were going to make us use an outside patio for the ceremony). And the Social Hall (reception area) was awesome, it came with a dance floor and that room was renovated not too long ago so the ceiling lights are really modern and beautiful.
When we booked with them it also came with a day-of coordinator (I still recommend getting your own coordinator as well) and her job is basically to make sure the tables and chairs get set up (which also is included) and just work out any kinks on the venue's end. We wanted to use a Rabbi for our wedding, and they have a few great people to choose from. Everybody LOVED our Rabbi. They set up 3 meetings for us to meet with him (we chose a Rabbi from their temple) to just talk so he got to know us and it wasn't like a stranger was performing our ceremony once the big day came.
Ours event a wedding, obviously, but i've been to a lot of other events their as well, birthday parties, bar/bat- mitzvahs, engagement parties, etc. They're very accommodating and I'm super glad we went with them!First off, I want to just say that our wedding was a blast! After looking at many different venues in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills area, my husband and I decided to have both our ceremony and reception at Temple Emanuel. Although we initially had something less traditional in mind, we moved forward at the temple for a few reasons: 1) Everyone at the temple was very easy to work with and the environment was very welcoming and friendly and 2) The room for the reception was modern and beautiful, and 3) Having the ceremony and reception in the same location would provide great convenience, especially with regards to our elderly family members.
This wound up being a terrific choice. Lia Fischer was our main contact in setting up the reception. Lia provided us with first-class service in a very efficient manner. She was eager to fulfill our vision of what we wanted our wedding to be and came through on everything. The whole temple staff was very kind, helpful and efficient and without a doubt, made the whole wedding happen without any drama.
Temple Emanuel is housed in a beautiful Mid-Century building that has been meticulously maintained and upgraded, so the backdrop of the ceremony and for the party was spectacular. Almost every photograph taken that evening is against a gorgeous backdrop. As far as the facilities, everything from the dramatic LED lights in the ceiling to the tables and chairs, was first-rate. Lia was helpful in helping us coordinate off-site hires, like valet parking.
Looking back, we were thrilled that we made the choice to have our wedding at Temple Emanuel. If we had to do it all again, we wouldn't change one thing. My fiancé and I had our engagement party at temple Emanuel this past weekend. Everything went incredibly, not only is the space impeccable, the staff, facilities people and the events manager, Lia, are all so nice and easy to work with and provide so much help. Greer social hall is a beautiful space. We were able to fit 270 people in the space without feeling crammed and the space is newly remodeled so it not only looks great, but it includes many amenities that other venues would not include in the cost. Having our party at temple Emanuel was the best decision I ever made and working with Lia and the team was simple and easy. The space is affordable, includes a cream dance floor and beautiful silver chivalry chairs, and has a ceiling light that adds funk and style to the room. Just those three additions made our party more beautiful but also saved us a great sum of money.
We had such a great time there and such an easy process that I am in talks with Lia to have another event in a few months in the same space.

Our son and daughter-in-law's wedding is coming up on two months ago but still the
wonderful memories and comments from folks keep a coming. Everything about
their wedding was superb. A friend just yesterday said the hors d'oeuvres by Cornucopia were
amazing and the dinner was delicious. (I agree.)
The staff at the synagogue was incredible. Our point person thenight of the wedding went out of her way to be helpful. The site itself was so beautiful. The little chapel for the bedeken, the sanctuary and the renovated event room. Not a detail was amiss. Not a glitch the entire night.
Rabbi Geller made both ceremonies (bedeken and wedding) so moving. A friend said, and I agree,
the rabbi created a true sacred space for their ceremony. Another friend said it was the most meaningful wedding she'd ever been to. I am so glad that the kids have made their home at Temple Emanuel and have formed such a lovely bond with Rabbi Geller.
So all in all, we wouldn't have changed a thing and couldn't have asked for a better experience for
ourselves, our kids and all our guests. A great big todah rabbah to you all.

If you are looking to be married in a Jewish synagogue, then there is no finer venue in Los Angeles than Temple Emanuel in Beverly Hills. Our rabbi worked with us to create a most meaningful wedding, and on the day of she orchestrated a ceremony we will never forget.
Even if the idea of getting married in a Jewish synagogue isn't important or relevant to you, the facilities themselves are top-notch and for the money an incredible value in Los Angeles. The banquet hall is near brand-new, and the staff that facilitate its rental are incredibly caring and responsive to your every need.

This is a wonderful place to have a wedding reception.
PROS:
1) This venue provides silver chiavari chairs.
2) Also included is a dance floor.

I loved having my wedding here! The staff and maintenance staff were both so helpful and accommodating. The fee was incredible for what it included and i loved the beverly hills location! There were no secret fees afterwards and they told me all the information i needed to know right upfront. Parking was so accessible and convenient. I recommend this to everyone and the space is so open and beautiful you can do so many things with it. The LED lights in the ceiling were an amazing addition and i was so happy!!!I loved having my wedding here! The staff and maintenance staff were both so helpful and accommodating.
