Awesome choice

We loved TCP, we went in for a tasting and immediately know we would have a hard time narrowing down the great menu. Our venue did not provide food or setup services but TCP had everything we needed; flatware and china setup, appetizers at cocktail hour, a full buffet, coffee and tea stations, and bite-sized. What really sold me was how well they communicated with us and provided multiple quotes to find the best service for our budget.

Hire them - you won't regret it

I could not be happier with our decision to work with TCP for our wedding day. They were so communicative with us throughout the entire planning process (I changed the menu several times and they were so flexible). They were also very flexible with us when it came to the overall cost and were just so easy to work with. We also had a mini emergency 6 days before the wedding as our cocktail hour food fell through, and TCP saved us by allowing us to add a cocktail hour option super last minute. The food was also incredible. I'm not kidding when I say we received so many compliments from our guests on the food. My husband and I have been eating it as leftovers as well and I'd argue the food is even better reheated the next day! Overall, very happy with our experience with TCP and would highly highly recommend them.

Look no further than TCP Catering!

I highly recommend TCP Catering! Scott spent a lot of time explaining everything to me in an initial phone call and was very professional and easy to work with the whole time. He and his staff provided a tasting for four of us which included several options of hors d’oeuvres, main entrees, sides, and dessert. Everything we tasted was delicious! Scott was very patient with all my emails and phone calls during the several months leading up to the wedding and his prices are very reasonable. His staff the day of the wedding was very friendly and professional and the food was outstanding! We have received many compliments from guests and family who attended the wedding, many saying it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. His staff packed up extra food for us at the end of the night and even packed food for the bride and groom to have upon arriving at their hotel, which was a very nice touch! I highly recommend this company for any of your catering needs!

Quality Service and Responsiveness

I reached out to TCP Catering for our unit’s military ball, and they were extremely quick to respond and to provide very detailed dining options with various pricing and various levels of formality to personalize our event. Though our unit decided to go in a different direction for catering due to our final choice of venue for the ball, I would highly recommend this catering company for any event just based on their service and their responsiveness alone.

TCP Catering and staff are amazing! Best decision for our wedding day food services!
Prior to wedding day, the staff interactions with us were timely, professional, and invested in aligning with our desires for our hors d'oeuvres and plated dinners. Additionally, Mr. Vickers and his team developed a delicious pepper sauce for our guests, and many have complimented it and wanted the recipe!

Best Caterer Ever

Scott and his team were amazing! From the tasting in the beginning stages of planning to the last 30 days and all the questions and finalizing plans, he was always so responsive and helpful! Would hire TCP again!

TCP was easy, professional, and personal to work with from start to finish! My daughter and her husband loved their tasting. Scott spent 45 minutes on the phone with me (MOB) one day as we discussed details of working at a venue that would be a first time for them. But it’s all about the food, right? The charcuterie grazing table was wiped clean it was so good! We really liked that TCP offers a self-serve buffet so guests can get their food quickly. In comparing prices, we could get two entrees where other companies would only offer one entree. The food, service, and clean up was great. I’m very happy with TCP as our choice.

Excellent Food, Excellent Customer Service

We booked TCP Catering for our wedding and we could not have been happier with the customer service and the quality of the food. Working with TCP Catering for our wedding was exceptionally easy. Scott responded quickly to all of my emails and questions, typically within 1-2 hours. We upgraded from disposable dishes to ceramic only a couple weeks before the wedding and this was handled beautifully. The double sided buffet at the wedding worked great. People could pick what they wanted and dish up however much they preferred. There was plenty of food for everyone and we kept some leftovers for ourselves. The food was delicious and hot. The wait staff quickly bussed all dishes. Even though the champagne glasses through TCP were booked, Scott offered to bus the other rentals free of charge. The price of the food was very reasonable. As the bride, I did not worry once about the appetizers or meal at the wedding as TCP Catering was very prepared. I would not hesitate to book TCP Catering for your wedding. We cannot more highly recommend their business.

Can't go wrong with TCP!

Scott & his team were so friendly and professional from our first interaction at our tasting. All of their food is so delicious, you can't go wrong with anything you pick. You can tell that Scott truly loves being a part of your wedding day and treats you as more than just a transaction. My guests are still talking about their Dr. Pepper meatballs...and it's been a month since the day!

Excellent food and service

Very professional employees and food was enjoyed by all of our guests. The food was delicious and a huge hit was the brown sugar pork and the Mac and cheese, so good!! Very happy with our caterer as it was another vendor that helped make our daughter’s wedding perfect. Thanks for feeding our guests such a delicious meal and for the kindness of your employees. Guests couldn't stop talking about the food!

We hired TCP Catering to cater our June 2021 wedding and we’d do it all over again! From the beginning, they were very informative and easy to communicate with. The day of the wedding, they arrived on time and were dressed professionally. The food was incredible and was one of the things we received the most compliments on from our entire day! Exceptional Service and Value

Scott of TCP Catering was amazing!! Truly a pleasure to work with from our initial tasting, to planning and then changing the Wedding Date with the current COVID conditions. He never ceased to amaze me, answering my late night emails either right after I sent them or early the next morning. His entrees and Hor d’ourves so amazing! Exceptional customer service, flexibility, and overral experience

Working in the wedding industry already, you very easily decide which vendors you want to contribute to your special day. Scott Vickers was my main point of contact in planning my own wedding in September of 2019. He had just catered my brothers wedding in April and at no point was I concerned about the menu options, pricing, or Scott's willingness to deliver the highest level of customer service and again, he and his team exceeded my expectations on wedding day. They were present on time and on the ball to meet both vendors and guests needs, providing gluten free meals for my band, the most beautiful fruit cheese and hors d'oeuvres display ever, and passed appetizers and bites all night! His pricing is consistently fair and he is always transparent in what is included. He is actually catering my brother in-law's wedding in two weeks and we will continue to use TCP for any and every event for his professionalism and reliability.

The best of the best

Scott and TCP Catering are the best of the best. Our tables were beautifully decorated; the food was TO DIE FOR (literally the best beef burgundy I’ve ever had in my life); and our plated dinner for over 200 guests went off without a hitch – that can only be attributed to Scott and TCP Catering’s organization, professionalism and hard work. Scott and his team were there at every step to make sure my guests were attended to, the venue was prepared (set up before/cleaned up after), and that the meal was perfect.

They say that “you get what you pay for” but you get WAY MORE than that when you hire TCP Catering. We told Scott what we wanted & he worked the numbers and the options until we came to a quote that worked for everyone. I can honestly say that I’ve never felt more valued as a customer than I did with Scott; that’s a pretty comforting feeling to get from your caterer.
Thank you, Scott, for everything you and your team did to make our day so incredibly special. When it came to the food & presentation of the evening, this Bride was completely stress free. That’s a gift I cannot thank you enough for. We are so grateful that TCP Catering was such a monumental part of our day.

I promise it will not be a mistake to book TCP Catering for your next event. Don’t pass them up – it doesn’t get better than this!

Made planning from afar easy!

Living in College Station while planning a Fort Worth wedding was a challenge, but TCP Catering made it easy. Their staff was so professional and knowledgeable at our tasting and they made sure I felt confident and comfortable with all the choices that had to be made. My venue's owner knew them by name and was ecstatic that we had chosen them for our caterer. She knew how professional and helpful they would be on the big day. On our wedding day I never once had to worry about food/drink/cutting the cake because their staff already knew the drill. Not to mention, the food was delicious!

Fantastic Caterer

TCP caterered my son's wedding a few weeks ago and the food was absolutely amazing and the staff did a great job. We had over 200 guest who were all served food and seated in 20 minutes and the tables were continually cleared and neat and orderly.

Amazing Food and People!

We booked TCP for my daughters wedding with a guest list of 155. I was so nervous to make this decision, as I am very picky. Everything was perfect! Please do not hesitate to book with TCP ! Scott is Amazing as is his staff and food. We received so many compliments about the food. I noticed how there was never a dirty table, unfilled water glass, or anything missing. We got so many compliments!!

We heard about TCP Catering from a family member who had their catering at a school banquet. When we looked them up their prices were very reasonable. Going for our menu trial was a great experience. We loved everything we tried and were so happy with the set up at our venue. The food was one thing we continuously got compliments on from people after our wedding. Everyone really enjoyed it and we were very happy with the service and cost. You will definitely get your moneys worth and enjoy your food on your wedding day!

Exactly what we were looking for!!!

My husband and I had our wedding in Sept 2018. When looking for a caterer we were looking for good food and good service. When we first met Steve as TCP, he sat with us during out tasting, one on one, and described each dish. What made us really comfortable with TCP was the catering experience they had. Our wedding headcount was around 200 at the time. We knew we needed to make a good decision when it came to the caterer. Not only did we want a vendor that served delicious food but knew how to manage large weddings. After tasting the food and emails back and forth with Steve, we knew we had to go with TCP. Steve was very responsive via email and phone. The website is also very detailed which is great to see when deciding on wedding vendors. The wedding guests continue to compliment on the food that was served at our wedding. We would recommend TCP to all couples looking for their wedding catering, and to anyone looking for a catering for any event. Thanks TCP and Steve!!!

We love TCP!

TCP Catered our wedding on 11/30/18 and we have nothing but great things to say. TCP offered a gorgeous tasting and It was so difficult choosing which dishes to serve at our wedding.

We chose Grilled Chicken with Roasted Veggies (zucchini, etc.), Marinated Roast Beef, Corn Soufflé, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Garlic Green Beans, Cranberry Walnut Salad, and rolls. For Cocktail Hour, we ordered passed Chicken White Wings and had cheese/fruit/cracker stations around the reception area.

Day-of, we heard nothing but great things from all our guests about how delicious the food was! We made it a point to enjoy our dinner (almost impossible at Bride & Groom) because the food was that amazing.

We would 100% hire TCP again and recommend it to all our engaged friends.

Scott and the team at TCP were terrific. It was a Sunday brunch at a venue with no kitchen so they had to be very organized and detailed to arrive on site with absolutely everything needed - and they were. Menu was chicken and waffles, 2 kinds of quiche, biscuits and gravy, roasted potatoes, fresh fruit trays, mandarin orange salad with an AMAZING dressing. They also handled all the mixers and garnishes for our bar drinks and a fancy coffee station with monogram-stamped cup sleeves - so cute! Everything was delicious, there was plenty of food, the Bride and Groom were very happy and we treated our guests to true Southern hospitality. Scott and his team were on time, professional, and gracious. Food and service were both truly excellent.

Scott and the TCP Catering team catered our wedding for 150 guests in May at The Stonegate Mansion and they are absolutely PHENOMENAL! From the time that we scheduled a tasting and up until the wedding, Scott has completely exceeded our expectations. Not only was there a great selection of food items to select for our buffet menu, but everything we sampled during our tasting appointment was so delicious that it was difficult to narrow down our options!

Scott is also extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. He is quick to address any questions and alleviate any of your concerns via phone or email. The quality of food and professionalism of the staff that TCP Catering offers is truly an unbeatable value. Not only that but Scott is always willing to advise on additional ways to help you cut down on costs and stay within or below your catering budget.

If you have food allergies (like a lot of members in my family do) it is not an issue in the slightest! We informed Scott of this early on and he was able to accommodate our needs without a hassle. Overall, the buffet dinner during our reception was a hit to say the very least. We also had a lot of guests tell us that they went back for seconds and even tried going back for thirds but by that time, all the main dishes (even the extras that TCP Catering brings along) were completely devoured!

Needless to say that the leftovers that TCP Catering boxed up for us prior to their exit that evening was just a couple of containers of leftover side dishes. Even though we were looking forward to eating more of the leftovers the next day, we were so glad that everyone enjoyed the dinner.

TCP Catering catered my daughter's wedding. Everything was perfect. At the end of the evening I realized I hadn't had to ask them to do anything. Tables were set, food and drinks were setup and served, everything was cleaned up,
leftovers were boxed and ready to take home ( including cake and cheesecake). Scott and Aaron were great to work with throughout the whole process. Calls and emails were returned quickly, we had a wonderful tasting, they helped us stay within our budget, and answered all my unusual questions. The bride wanted cheesecake instead of wedding cake, and they were able to provide a cheesecake bar with excellent cheesecake from one of their restaurants.
I would definitely use them again!

TCP Catering was the absolute best! The food was delicious, and hot, and tasted fresh. People asked about the macaroni and cheese for weeks. The most important thing was the customer service we received from Scott and Aaron. Every time I called and made a change, or stopped by to check on "one last thing", they acted as if I was their only bride or customer. Their attitudes and professionalism from the first meeting to the final part of our evening went above and beyond. They were such a pleasure and I know we'll be using them again in the future.

I cannot say enough nice things about Scott and his staff. We had many changes to our catering needs over the several months of planning and Scott went above and beyond in helping us stay in the budget, down to the last day.

I was the mother of the bride and was the go-to person at my daughters wedding with that a lot of stress was added. When the catering staff saw the stress I was dealing with, they made me a plate so that I could eat.

The guests loved the food and could not say enough good things about it. I was so pleased that I chose TCP Catering for my daughters wedding!!

Scott and his crew were, quite simply, THE BEST! We used TCP to cater our daughter’s wedding, and everyone raved about the food. Great quality and great menu selections! Service was incredible, too! Quite frankly, I never worried or even noticed one thing during the night that was not right, and when I was ready to go home, everything was already boxed and ready to load up. I could go on and on, but it’s all praise for how wonderful they are. Can’t wait to use them again!

Scott and everyone at TCP did such an amazing job catering our wedding! I still have people telling me how great the food was! My best friend went with me to the tasting and told me she was almost more excited for my wedding to get here just to eat the delicious food again! The options are extensive and Scott makes sure to have everything done exactly how you want, and was incredibly kind and helpful. At the wedding everything was set up perfect, the lines were quick and efficient and the whole TCP staff were very helpful and just so nice! Please do yourself a favor and check them out if you are looking for a caterer, they really are the best around, without a doubt! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

You will never find a better team or food anywhere !!! Scott and his team went up and above to make sure we had everything covered that we needed and even went to the grocery store to buy more wine just in case we may need it. They were so accommodating with the amount of food as we had several cancellations at the end. From day one to the end they were top notch. I have had many calls on how delicious the food was and of course the corn casserole was the hit. Scott is one of the most genuine business owners I have ever met! The fact that he will take your budget and work with you, as well as set-up a payment plan with you is beyond reasonable. Scott and his team were amazing to work with! We had the best food and great service on our wedding day! Scott and his team also picked up our Whataburger late night pass and passed it on the dancefloor. It was a huge hit!!! They are so accommodating and helpful! OMG! TCP catered our wedding reception and the food was amazing! So many of our guests asked us who catered because "they had never been to a wedding with food this good." Scott is great to work with- he is very professional and organized! Even though we selected a buffet-style dinner, his staff stayed throughout the entire dinner and afterwards to help package up to-go food. We were also provided with a very thorough tasting before selecting TCP as our caterer... I think they served my husband and I ten entrees and twenty sides AND let us take everything home we didn't finish (which was ALOT)! Would definitely recommend TCP Catering to anyone looking for a wedding caterer, or any caterer for that matter!

Being that my son is a chef, I knew we would have to find a top-notch catering company for his wedding on March 17th. We chose Scott with TCP Catering and were so very pleased. To enjoyably fill the time while the family and wedding party were taking post-ceremony photos, Scott suggested doing passed appetizers, along with opening the bar. Such a game changer! Kept all of our guests so happy. For dinner, along with an avocado salad, we served a marinated pork loin, southern green beans, the most mouth-watering mashed potatoes I have ever had, and corn soufflé. Getting hungry just thinking about it! Scott and his team are professional, reliable, and kind. They arrived early to set up, circulated the room with the appetizers during cocktail hour, bused the tables, cleaned up any mess, and boxed up the leftovers. So stress-free. My only regret of the evening is that I didn’t go back for seconds! Thank you, Scott and TCP Catering.

The food comity for our Police Banquet did a tasting of 2 caters this year and after the first one I was sure they would go with them, but we went to TCP (which was the caterer we picked out of 4 the year before) and to my surprise and delight they picked them for this years banquet. Everything went off without a hitch just as it had last year. The food was amazing and everyone just loved the food also the severs where friendly and polite along with being helpful. They provided containers that we had forgotten to bring so we could make meals up to take to the dispatchers and officers who were working that night and couldn't attend. I would recommend this cater to anyone who has an event to plan and who wants quality food and friendly people to present it. We will always do a tasting with TCP for all future banquets as we have to try several on the list and choose the one everyone likes the best. This was my second year on the comity and I hope to be on the one next year. Great Job TCP on helping us get everything done that we needed. Also they cater many things for the place that I work for and I am sure they will do more for our department in the future. Most important it is quality food and a very affordably price.

TCP was very flexible with my budget and guest count. We had over 300 wedding guests and each person was fed with plenty of food left over. Their customer service is amazing. My only complaint was that there was no regulation of appetizers so naturally people came and devoured them in an instant. Also, they ran out of lemonade before the bridal party ever arrived to the reception. Other than that I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for catering in the central Texas area.

We absolutely LOVED TCP! Scott and his team were so easy to work with, and helped us in creating the perfect menu for our winter wedding. He assisted us in creating a hot chocolate bar for our guests, and cutting our cake! We had so many comments from our guests about how amazing the food was. Almost all of our guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Scott's crew bussed all of the tables, and left the kitchen at the venue spotless. They also made to go boxes for my husband and I to enjoy after the wedding was over, since we didn't eat much during our reception! We would definitely use them again!

We recently used TCP Catering for our wedding in Weatherford, TX, on 11/11/16 and we we BEYOND THRILLED with everything!! Scott Vickers, owner, was one of the most professional people that I encountered and worked with during the entire wedding process. He runs his company with a level of customer service that you just don't find anymore. He was incredibly responsive to questions and requests which I highly appreciated. The food was INCREDIBLE! I had numerous people at and after our wedding comment on how amazing the food was! When I first met Scott, I told him that one of my biggest concerns was efficiency of service. I have been to weddings where we waited almost 2 hours to eat because the buffet line wasn't set up efficiently. We had 150 guests and everyone went through the line in less than 30 minutes! Amazing! There were no hidden fees and he did not gauge me for every tiny item which A LOT of caterers, especially wedding caterers do. I was just so so thankful that I found TCP Catering for our wedding and STRONGLY recommend you do to!!

We very highly recommend Scott and TCP Catering! Scott catered my daughter's wedding reception appetizers and dinner--food was delicious, the layout was organized and appealing, and staff very professional. Many of our guests commented that the food was great and also that the service was top notch. Scott was very accommodating in meeting with us and preparing a tasting, and he was prompt, pleasant and responsive every time I contacted him in preparation for the big day. He was very helpful in covering all the details so that the cocktail hour and dinner came off flawlessly. I happened to find TCP Catering through the Aggie Moms Club, after he catered our spring luncheon (which was delicious), and many other moms spoke highly of TCP based on their earlier experiences. Before meeting Scott, we had been feeling a bit pressured by other catering vendors--it was really a load off our shoulders to meet Scott and know that he was handling our day, as he made the whole process so easy. Best food, ever! We had a difficult time limiting our selection because the food was just outstanding! Come to the tasting hungry because they offer so much food for you to try. They were very courteous, on time, food was just as good the day of the wedding as it was at the tasting. We did have to provide our own table cloths for the buffet tables but we just used the dollar store plastic ones that could easily be thrown away. We chose buffet style but they offer other options. We used their high quality throw away dinnerware and plastic cups. It looked beautiful. They even set the plates, glasses, and silverware on the tables before the guests arrived. Payment was easy and took place at the event. We were able to update them with the guest count up to the day before. I would highly recommend TCP catering.

I would highly recommend TCP Catering. They were very easy to work with. We had an initial tasting a few months before the wedding and went over cost and menu. After that I e-mailed back and forth with Scott and always received a prompt response. On the day of the wedding, they were on time and set up very quickly. The food was amazing and we received nothing but compliments from our guests. They refilled the food containers as soon as they started to run low and they were right on target for the quantities needed. They boxed up leftovers and provided a to go box for the Bride and Groom. In all, absolutely perfect.

Scott from TCP Catering was very professional from the way he presented the samples for our first meeting to the way he presented our food at the wedding reception. The food was absolutely delicious and the cost of his services was very ressonable for the services her provided. Scott and his team are AMAZING. TCP catered my wedding and the food was wonderful, the service was perfect, and everyone loved it. From the tasting, to booking, to paying, to changing the menu like 4 times, to the day of the event, Scott was calm and professional every step along the way. We even added a lemonade bar like 3 days before the wedding without a hitch. Scott did so much work for us, including taking care of all the vintage plates that I had gathered for the wedding. I got a ton of compliments on the food from my guests and everyone loved it. Even on the day of the event when we changed the plate arrangements a couple times, everyone was fine and willing to do what I (the bride) wanted. We had Brown Sugar Crusted Pork Loin and Grilled Chicken with Cheddar mashed potatoes, Country style green beans, corn soufflé, dinner rolls. I have been told by several people the food was awesome! Even though they had plates made for us at our table when we came in to the reception, we hardly ate any- regrettably. We took to go plates but our hotel didn't have a microwave when we got there. We couldn't be happier with the meal. Scott was a pleasure to work with and even made adjustments to our number the day before. We had tons of compliments on the food and are happy with our choice!

This food was amazing!!! The corn souffle is off the hook! Everyone thought the food was great and I'm going to guess they thought we paid a lot more for it than we did! The presentation was lovely and with the china and the clean up option included everything was still very affordable! I thought I was destined to have aunts and uncles prepare food and use those plastic plate things because I refused to pay what other places were asking. This seems like the right price from people who are just trying to make a living doing good, old-town business!

Scott was awesome to work with and always made me feel comfortable. I knew if I needed to change my mind about anything or do some bridezilla freak out he would be ok with it - not thrilled obviously but he would work with us. But no big bride freak out occurred and everything wen't smoothly and tastefully!

I also had the cake part of this company (Creative Confections) do my cake. Though I didn't get to taste more than a bite among my crazy wedding, the bite I had as perfection! Very tasty and a beautiful cake. She drew it out for us at our meetings and was 100% open to a complete change in the grooms cake only 2 months before the wedding.

I think this company was a great addition to our wedding and I hope they enjoyed serving us!

I am a professioanl event coordinator in DFW averaging 3 to 5 events per month. I have worked with several catering companies over the last couple of years. TCP Catering is outstanding in their service, professionalism, and quality of food and I am so thankful I found them. I have had the priveledge to receive services from the Watauga location and the Marlin location, both of which I highly recommend! I will not use or recommend any other catering comany in the DFW area or the Central Texas area while planning and coordinating events. The price and quality of food, coupled with their professionalism and attentiveness to each event and customer cannot be matched. On a personal note, recently my father passed away. I have a large family in the Central Texas area. The owner from the TCP Watauga location contacted his father at the TCP Marlin location and arranged to have oven roasted chicken to serve 80 people delivered to our church for our family luncheon on the day of the funeral. This was done as a gesture of kindness and class expecting nothing in return. This is the kind of hallmark service you can expect to receive from TCP locations. Few businesses, especially in the food service industry, oporate with the code of ethics and character displayed at TCP.

My husband and I could have not been happier with TCP as our caterer. At our reception the one thing that was said the most, even by our photographer, was.... WHO IS THE CATERER... THEY ARE AWESOME! The food they prepare is delicious! Our photographer said "I have been to a lot of weddings and this just isn't great wedding food this is Great food Period!"
I found out about TCP catering because the Community College that I work for uses them to cater every staff and faculty function we have, because they are continuously amazing. And they did not disappoint at our wedding either. TCP Catering is extremely professional, extremely reliable and extremely delicious. The staff they had at our wedding was extraordinary, They even had a wonderful lady who was just taking care of us the whole night, she was always getting us new drinks and asking if we needed anything. Another thing I will say is this is a family business and I think that's what helps them strive to be the best. They care about the services they are providing and they preform to the best of their ability. I also used Lauren with TCP catering for our four tired Brides cake and our custom hot rod racing grooms cake. People at out wedding could not stop raving about the how wonderful the cakes and food at our event were, Thank you TCP Catering.

TCP Catering was a choice I honestly wasn't sure about at first after looking at their website, but DO NOT let the name The Chicken Place deter you from their amazing food! We did a beef & chicken fajita bar complete with chips, salsa, queso, guac, and a salad. Our guests RAVED about the quality of the food, and Scott made sure there was plenty to go around. The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I had always heard to expect to pay a lot for quality wedding food, but TCP was very affordable and worth every penny!

Awesome food! We still have people talking about how great everything tasted. They made everything go smoothly and our guests didn't have to wait long to get their food. The service was fantastic and they went above and beyond to make sure everyone had enough to eat and drink.

I am the mother of the bride of a wedding that TCP catered in Lorena, TX on October 8th. I hired TCP catering to cater the wedding reception. I know that there was a terribel review that was written about TCP Catering. I can tell you that TCP did a fantastic job catering the wedding. Their prices were better than anything that I had found, the food was over the top, and Scott and Lauren were so great to work with. They were on top of every little detail. Lauren actually made the wedding cake and grooms cupcakes. The cake was absolutely beautiful down to every little detail, and was so great tasting. She included the anniversary cake for free, and stayed to serve the cake. Scott packed up all the food that was left in individual containers and left it with us. The meat was just as tender the next day as it was the day it was originally served. I can't say enough good things about TCP. I will say that the negative review was not correct in what actually happened and when there is alcohol involved with the guests many things can be distorted. Please don't hesitate to use TCP. They were writen up in The Knot's Top Ten for a reason.

Well, as lots of people mention, we didn’t end up eating a whole lot on our wedding day. However, every bite that we did eat was amazing (and all of our guests that I spoke to agreed). TCP is run by the same people who run The Chicken Place, a fast food restaurant in Watauga, but you would never know it by the fancy high-quality dishes that they cater. Also, an added (and very important bonus) was their price. TCP was cheaper than it would have been to have Black-Eyed Pea cater! I worked with Scott Vickers, the owner, and he was so kind and easy to talk to. Affordable, friendly, and great food. No complaints.

From the day I met Scott Vickers at the Fort Worth Bridal Show, I knew that he was the one to cater my daughter's July 15th wedding. Scott was very easy to work with, even when I changed my mind about the menu several times. He was very helpful in helping me get a vision for the food. The food was delicious and it was an excellent value. We have received so many positive comments about the food! On the day of the wedding, Scott and his staff were timely, helpful and efficient. Scott's sister, Lauren, made the bride and groom's cakes. They were exactly what we had envisioned and both were delicious. I would highly recommend the team at TCP catering for your wedding or special event.

TCP Catering is great! The food was fantastic. Danny was great to work with. And I had numerous compliments on the food. They were professional and timely and served a great meal. The price is very reasonable and we were VERY pleased with every aspect of TCP Catering. I highly recommend it!!

I had my wedding October 15, 2016 and used the Watauga location. Scott was very professional laid back, not pushy in any way. He was the second vendor we had met with for tasting. He gave us a variety of entrees, not just one or two, to try and all of the food was amazing! The corn souffle is my favorite! In my opinion his prices were reasonable and the services were outstanding. The staff that worked the night of our wedding was wonderful! We received many compliments on the food. These guys went above and beyond our expectations! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking for an awesome caterer.

We absolutely loved TCP Catering! During cocktail hour, we served chips, queso, salsa, and guacamole and chicken white wings. For dinner, we served beef and chicken fajitas with a salad. The food was AMAZING. We met with a few other caterers before deciding on TCP, but after tasting their delicious, flavorful fajitas, we knew we had to hire them right away! Scott always responded very quickly and was incredibly helpful in planning our cocktail hour and dinner. We are so thankful for TCP and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

TCP was excellent to work with. Most have not heard of Watauga, Texas but it's just north of Ft. Worth Texas so not be scared off by the city! The food was MORE than we could have asked for. The people who came and set up and took down they were super professional!! barely saw them unless I needed something. 150 people were fed beyond their immaginations!! We had very little left overs!! So I highly recommend this place for food!!! Low prices, but excellent food!!! yummy! 5+ stars!

I don't know that you would find a better deal (financially) for the quality of the food provided by TCP. Scott was very helpful in answering questions at the tasting, and the food was phenomenal. When I told several engaged friends what we were spending on food, they were shocked we found such a good deal. I had multiple people tell me how good the food was at the wedding and afterward. Scott was also helpful in providing solutions for beverage bar and was honest about how we could save money along the way. One slight con (though insignificant; I'd book again): closer to the wedding, while still extremely responsive, I felt like I was bugging them with my questions. It was the holiday season, so I am sure they were swamped with work. Aside from that, everything was perfect.

Delicious Food, Affordable Prices

From the brie tartlets to the truffle mac n' cheese, our wedding food was decadently delicious. Even better -- it didn't cost a fortune (although our guests probably thought it did!)

Aaron and Scott are wonderful and will make the planning process easy. You're in good hands with TCP!

TCP catering was pretty good, we got so many compliments on how great the food was at our wedding. I really enjoyed the roast beef and their special punch. If you use TCP I highly recommend getting the punch, it was a hit. The only negative thing I have to say is they were a little slow on clearing the tables, I had to let them know that there were still plates on our sweetheart table. Other than that we had no issues, Scott and his team were great to work with leading up to and for the wedding. Thanks TCP!

We were so happy that we decided to go with Scott and his team at TCP Catering for our daughter's wedding. The food was hot, tasted wonderful and the service was outstanding! I didn't have to worry about a thing - before I thought to ask about anything, it was already done. I received nothing but compliments about the appetizers and dinner. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer.

The food was very good!! We received a lot of great comments about everything. He worked with us on price and handled everything on our day exactly as we wanted. I never had a single worry with this company. I highly recommend them.

I wasted most of the money given to this vendor due to poor service at the reception. For my mid-day cocktaill reception, I rented champagne glasses and bought toasting juice (non-alcoholic) that never got used because someone just forgot to pour them. Guests came up to me afterwards complaining of the food taking too long to get there (after the time promised). The food was not kept hot either. Just because I was the point of contact for billing, one of the servers HANDED me the bill. I'm the bride by the way, in my dress, enjoying family and friends from out of town...and they handed me the bill right there during festivities, instead of just emailing it. Then when I brought these unexpected mistakes up to the boss of the company, there were only excuses and no apology. Then, he proceeded to personally insult my husband and ask for payment. Professionalism is at 1 star for these reasons. The ONLY positive I can think of for this catering company is that they were willing to work within my budget for my choices of foods.

Appalling. Praying I was in a bad movie but it was real life.

I can not even explain how horrible my experience was with this company. There’s too much, where to start. Scott was completely terrible and I wish I would have never used his incompatent company. Food was ok but his service was just terrible. I pray y’all do not use this company for your wedding or any catered event. Save yourself the head ache, insults, lies and the inability to say sorry. I worked in the service industry and so has my husband. Never have we ever been treated this way. Absolutely appalling. They should honestly be ashamed.

You get what you pay for. Lesson learned on this one. Service at our reception was very poor. We had several guests make comments to us after the wedding about how rude the catering staff was. When we called to let them know about the multiple issues we had, we were just given excuses and no apology. They are low cost catering for a reason. I would not recommend them for a wedding.
