Words cannot describe how perfectly splendid our wedding was at Tavares Pavilion on the Lake!! Jason and I were so impressed with everyone on staff. Amy is truly so wonderful to work with. She helped so much from setting up our initial tour to all the details for our wedding day. She was so responsive and unbelievable!! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, Daniel, Lee, and Carrie, we appreciated everyone who was involved in our special day. The venue is absolutely beautiful!! It’s was the perfect place to get married, right on the lake. The views are breathtaking. Even though it downpour right before our ceremony, we still had amazing views! Our guests could not believe how beautiful and unique the venue was for our wedding. We highly recommend Tavares Pavilion on the Lake, especially their staff!!

The Ultimate Lake Venue
Tavares Pavillion was our first choice and we toured all of Central Florida. They fit perfectly within our budget, their staff is amazing and always on the ball and we could not have asked for a better catering partner. I attended three weddings here in 2025. Each of them was unique and so beautiful! The venue itself is always immaculately clean and any interaction I’ve had with the staff who worked there has been wonderful. Absolutely stunning!
I recently got married at Tavares Pavilion on the Lake. We had a small intimate ceremony followed by brunch so we opted to have it on lower level. Everything was so simple and having the pavilion and the garden area outside as our backdrop made everything so elegant. The staff that day was so nice and accommodating. Amazing Experience!
Our wedding at Tavares Pavilion felt almost perfect. The building has beautiful waterfront views and elegant architecture, which aligned well with our vision. The staff was incredible - super helpful, professional, and attentive up to the very last minute, ensuring everything ran smoothly (even the day of). Communication was seamless throughout the entire planning process as well. Our guests were in awe of the the pavilion's charm, and the indoor-outdoor flow made it a smooth experience for them. Picture Perfect Day!
I absolutely LOVED the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake! The views during my ceremony and reception were breathtaking. My guests were speechless when they stepped onto the brick bridge over the water as they entered. The staff were beyond helpful and ensured all of our needs were met. The bridal suite for me and my girls was so cute and picture-perfect. I could not recommend this venue enough if you are looking for a scenic lake wedding!

Tavares Pavilion on the Lake was the best pick for our wedding! We had our wedding on June 22nd, and since it is summertime, we needed an indoor venue. Not only is the Pavilion a venue for the ceremony and reception, but they also host cocktail hour and it is absolutely gorgeous! Our day ended up being rainy, but they were quick on their feet with a backup plan for going indoors, and every guest raved on how beautiful the venue was. We got our pictures, and we were worried that since it was rainy that they would turn out too dark, but everything was truly beautiful. The staff is amazing and very attentive. From day one they have been a phone call or email away. We absolutely loved working with Tavares Pavilion on the Lake and would do it again if we needed to.

This venue is so adorable. Among all the venues we searched for our wedding reception, this was the most amazing one. The process from start to end was so seamless and easy.
Amy, helped us a lot during the full process, and went above and beyond our expectations to ensure she meets all of our last minute requests and questions. She replies to all emails right away even when she's out of office.
The staff at the venue were very cheerful and helpful during the wedding day.

This venue is not only gorgeous, but their team goes above and beyond for you during your special event. Even the pier is private during your event, in that way your guests can feel more than comfortable. This administration runs an amazing place. Every single staff member is there to help you take your event to the next level! Puff N'Stuff catering, one of their preferred caterer, worked alongside with the venue staff and everything was absolutely perfect. This venue was simply stunning. From the large staircase overlooking the water to the elegant wooden features inside, our guests are still gushing about the Pavilion! Amy, Michael, and Lee were so wonderful to work with - they answered all of our questions in a timely manner and were always available to help. My Dream Venue
I could not have dreamt of a more perfect wedding venue than the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake. The location, view, amenities, and staff were beyond what we hoped for. The grand double staircase with the backdrop of the gorgeous water of Lake Dora made for the most beautiful and elegant setting. The staff at the Pavilion was responsive, flexible, accommodating, and friendly. We had a date change, a significant guest count decrease, and many logistical changes even through the last week of planning. I am thankful to the staff at the Pavilion (shoutout to Amy and Michael) for their flexibility and hospitality. I received countless compliments from guests regarding the elegance of the venue and the beautiful view. I highly recommend booking the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake for your wedding!

Perfect Classic Florida Venue
This venue originally came onto our radar as we were looking for a Central Florida venue that could accommodate a medium large guest count that was on the water (but not necessarily on the beach). We settled on Tavares Pavilion since it was just so beautiful. Also wedding planning from out of state, we appreciated how thorough and open the venue website was, providing from the beginning venue pricing, floor plans, feasible guest counts, virtual tours, and we actually booked sight unseen because of that. We worked with Amy from the beginning and she was and is super responsive via email and phone, another factor making the remote planning super easy.
Our guests loved the venue and thought it was super beautiful. We appreciated the variety of spaces - a brides room perfect for getting ready, numerous hang out spots and storage areas, and the separate upstairs and downstairs which made it easy to have a full on dance party downstairs while having a quieter space upstairs for guests who wanted to relax. Venue staff was also super friendly and helpful, and really made the day run smoothly.
Overall we loved this venue and would choose many times over again. It was beautiful, everyone was helpful and great, and it was a truly special place that helped us provide a classic Florida experience for our guests.

Once I saw Tavares Pavilion on the Lake I knew I wasn't going to be able to have my wedding anywhere else. There was not one place in the greater Orlando area that compared. Once we made the decision to officially have our special day there, everything continued to be just that easy. Working with Amy was amazing. She is so incredibly responsive. If I emailed her with a question I was always blown away with how fast i'd have my answer and through this whirl wind of a process, having fast responses is everything. Come the day of our wedding, the venue couldn't have been more beautiful. It is so clean and so well taken care of. The staff was amazing. I'm hoping i'm remembering his name correctly but Michael was there to great me at the car with an umbrella when I arrived to make sure not one drop of water got onto me on my way into the venue on this overcast day. Just incredible. Thank you to everyone at the pavilion so so much for everything.

The view is worth it alone!
We LOVED having our wedding at The Pavilion on the Lake! Our guests could not stop gushing about how beautiful it was. We got married January 4th and the Pavilion left up their Christmas decorations up for us for free! WOW- it was gorgeous! Our wedding was at 3:30 and by the time we were eating dinner during the reception the sun was setting. The entire back of the Pavilion is glass, so we had the best sunset view of Lake Dora through the windows- it was incredible! The city of Tavares owns the Pavilion so you do have to work around some city rules but the staff at the Pavilion make everything so easy!

WOW! We came across this venue when we first started dating and there was a corporate event being hosted at the venue. I always dreamt of getting married here. It honestly was dream come true. It has some vintage/antique touches and requires very low decorations. I wish i could go back and just soak it all in again and relive our wedding day. Obsessed with this venue. This venue was exactly what we wanted! It fit the size of my wedding, the building is gorgeous, the surrounding area is beautiful and great for wedding photos, and the staff is very professional and friendly. We didn't even need to add many decorations, doing so would have only taken away from the beauty of the venue. Amy made the planning process so easy!
There were some rules we had to follow, such as no sparklers for the grand exit and no flowers/petals touching the floors, and they also do not allow you to have your rehearsal in the venue, but it didn't matter. It was worth it. We ended up having our rehearsal at our hotel and it worked out just fine!

The most amazing place to get married
I cant recommend this place enough! All I wanted was a beautiful all indoor venue with an affordable price tag. Incredible staff and a gorgeous venue! Literally you feel like you’re on a gorgeous cruise ship with classy wood surrounded by a beautiful lake. I barely needed decorations for my wedding because the venue is so beautiful itself. They did everything they could to ensure I had a perfect day and did not have to stress. They went out of their way to ensure details for my needs were met and I received so many compliments from guests about finding this gorgeous gem for my wedding! Highly recommend!

Gorgeous and super friendly
Amy Pattee and her team at the Pavilion were super supportive throughout the whole process. The were flexible and extremely responsive. The venue is absolutely stunning- the best of Florida scenery without all the heat and bugs. I adored the venue from the beginning and the more I worked with them the more grateful I was to have chosen that as my venue. They are hands down wonderful.

Gorgeous venue!
This was the first (and only) venue we looked at before making a decision. We were given a great tour of the facility and were just blown away by its beauty and knew we had to book it right away. It did not disappoint! Our guests loved the venue as much as we did and everyone was just in awe of not only the elegance of the inside, but also that it was literally sitting in the middle of a lake! The team at the Pavilion was so awesome to work with - shout out to Amy for making everything such a smooth and enjoyable process!

The best place ever!
We can’t thank Carrie, Amy, and their TPL family enough! Not only did we fall in love with the venue the second we walked in, their team was truly what sold us and made us have THE PERFECT DAY! Their prompt communication, family-like team, and flawless attention to detail put us at ease. Perfect Wedding Venue
From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew this was going to be our wedding venue. From booking last February to our event this February the staff was extremely helpful and answered any and all questions related to the venue! They had suggestions for vendors and were really the very first step in our perfect day! The day of the event we were so incredibly pleased with how everything was set and ready to go by the time we arrived. We received more compliments than I could count on how beautiful the venue was! I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone!

Amazing venue look no further.
We fell in love with the venue the first time we saw it. They had it decorated for Christmas which looked amazing! Everyone kept asking how did we find this venue. We got so many compliments and Amy was amazing!

Most Gorgeous Venue in the Central Florida Area
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Tavares Pavilion. Working with Amy and Michael was excellent. Amy responded very quickly to all my emails and they were able to be flexible when we were not quite certain what we needed at first. We ended up doing a ballroom changeover so we could do both the ceremony and dancing downstairs, and have dinner upstairs. I definitely recommend doing this if you have a larger wedding (100+). The staff made sure everything was perfect the day of, bringing out carts to help us bring in the dresses and umbrellas when it started to sprinkle. The venue was set up perfectly when we got there and since they require you to use a preferred caterer that they work with regularly, the food and beverage process flowed perfectly.
I cannot say enough about this BEAUTIFUL venue. Our photos inside and out turned out amazing and our guests keep telling us it was the prettiest wedding they had ever been to. We didn't even have to add any additional decorations for the ceremony (other than a vine draped cross) since the venue was already gorgeous. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable, beautiful venue in Central Florida!

Best venue we could have asked for
Amy and the rest of the staff were wonderful! They were easy to get into contact with, answered all if my questions and really made our big day special. The venue is absolutely stunning and our guests could not speak highly enough about it and the gorgeous view of the lake. When the sun set the water looked like glass. I dont have many pictures myself, but some of the ones my guests have been sharing are stunning. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

The PERFECT wedding venue!
We got married at the Tavares Pavilion on 11/17 and it was the most magical day of our lives. The Pavilion was so easy to work with and respond to emails very quickly. If you’re looking for a venue with natural beauty, this is it! We didn’t even feel like we had to decorate it because it was so beautiful. Only downfall, no included rehearsal hour the night before. We decided to rent a house (Haven Key) three doors down and just hold our rehearsal there. Everything worked out perfectly!

The Tavares Pavilion on the Lake was the most perfect venue we could've hoped to find for our wedding! The property is nothing short of stunning, and the staff was incredible during every step of the process. They offer so much for their clients and allow usage of their entire facility for the entirety of the event. We were so impressed with the courteousness and attentiveness of the staff on our wedding day, they really made it special and helped so much with getting everything in place exactly as we needed. They put so much consideration into the planning and execution of our wedding, helping along the way by asking us questions we may not have even thought of! They truly care that your event goes off without a hitch, and did an incredible job working with all our vendors too. This place is also one of the most beautiful venues I've seen and needs so little in terms of decoration. Simply the existing decor with the addition of our flower arrangements was all we needed, the venue has so much natural beauty that it doesn't take much to make everything insanely gorgeous. If you're looking for an incredible venue with even better staff, the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake will not disappoint!

Our Villages Convertible Club had there annual rally with the ending spot at The Pavilion on the Lake. From beginning to end they were wonderful. There is literally nothing negative that I can say about this place. I remember when I first stepped on the pier in January of 2017- I knew it was the place I wanted to get married. I cried when I walked inside for the very first time. It's breathtaking. There is simply nothing like the Tavares Pavilion. From the decoration, the architecture, the stunning staircase, the waterfront views and the staff....it really is perfect. I had my wedding on a Saturday, and the ability to select from a preferred caterer makes this venue much more affordable than some of the cookie-cutter hotel ballrooms we looked at. Amy is such a pleasure to work with and was my main point of contact the entire 15 months of planning. Michael was also a blessing, always checking in on me the day of and carrying my dress to the beautiful bridal suite. Guests were in awe when they saw this place and by seeing the pictures they posted on social media, it's obvious they saw the same beauty in it as we did.

This venue was my dream come to life!! It is absolutely GORGEOUS inside and out. I fell in love with it right away and booked it as soon as possible. I worked with Amy almost entirely through my year of planning and she was so on the ball about everything! Response time was amazing, she always emailed me back right away and was so accommodating. The event space is gorgeous and meticously decorated. The view of the lake and seaplanes landing and taking off is breath taking. We had a corporate meeting using the groom's room. It was the perfect setting for our function and also Amy & Carrie were the perfect hosts. The venue pricing is also very reasonable. Would definitely recommend Tavares Pavilion on the Lake as a special place to hold your next function.

The Tavares Pavilion on the lake is an amazing venue. We fell in love with the place from the first time we visited when we were looking for a venue for our wedding. We recommend making sure you book early because the dates tend to book fast. None of our guests had ever been to this Venue which made it a surprise for all! This was such a wonderful find, guests were continually complementing on how beautiful everything was. We had a Christmas Wedding and utilized all the beautiful decorations the Pavilion uses during the holiday season. The venue has a great tropical yet elegant atmosphere throughout. Thus, no matter the season of your event the Pavilion is beautifully decorated and designed making it the perfect backdrop with little added décor needed. We could not say thank you enough to the staff. The staff we worked with; Amy, Randall and Michael were over and above wonderful! They were very helpful from day one from the planning stages of our wedding answering any and all questions. The staff was also very helpful the day of our wedding making sure that everything was taken care of. We would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone that is looking for a great atmosphere for any type of celebration.

We got married at this venue on 5.28.17 and let me tell you the pictures don't do it justice! I fell in love with this venue through photos and reviews 2 years before my wedding date. I immediately reached out and setup a tour for the next time I would be in town (I am a Texas bride). Carrie and her team were extremely accommodating, understanding that I had limited availability to do walkthroughs, tours, and rehearsals. They made sure that I felt completely comfortable with everything and understood every detail and rule of the venue before I signed anything. There was nothing left to surprise!
Michael and Amy were amazing as we got closer to the event, making changes to our seating charts and even handling moving our ceremony inside after a decision by me the day before! This is a top notch venue, team and your guests' mouths will be dragging on the floor!
I felt the need to do very little in regards to decor, as the venue is so beautiful on its own. And my guests are still raving about how amazing it was! Due to the incredible venue, there was no doubt in my mind that all of our pictures and videos would turn out AMAZING, and I was not disappointed!
If you are looking for a venue, THIS IS IT!

Tavares Pavilion on the Lake was PERFECT! All of my guest absolutely loved this venue! The bridal ready room is soooo beautiful! - breath-taking! I'm sure you've never seen anything like it (at least in this area or surrounding areas). The staff is super professional and timely. They will do everything to make sure that your day goes just as smoothly as possible! Keep in mind that although you will spend a pretty penny to have your event here - you will not regret it! The caterers are upwards of $40 per plate, but you're wedding will be nothing but pure ELEGANCE! - 10 stars!!!

My husband and I were married in this BEAUTIFUL venue on April 1st, 2017. It was everything I could have asked for and more. The staff was courteous and unless we needed them they hid themselves well. My day of coordinator worked very well with them and spoke highly of the staff. My husband and I were very concerned with noise coming for the nearby seaplane event, however even with the event happening right outside, we didn't hear ANYTHING. The venue was wonderful about letting our guests come and sire inside during the cocktail hour when it got hot. They were also wonderful with assisting our elderly guests upstairs and helped my family clean up after the event. Overall, for the amount of money we paid, we were very happy. Would definitely recommend this venue to any bride that wants to get married on a beautiful staircase and with a picturesque water backdrop.

We just had my daughter's wedding there this weekend and... WOW! There is no better venue for a wedding. The building is gorgeous, the view is amazing, and there are not enough superlative adjectives to describe how awesome the staff is. From our million questions before we booked it, to seating and reception floor plans, and even helping with the details like a table for the sand ceremony and photo spot suggestions, they stayed involved and accessible right up to the wedding. They always acted more like helpful friends than like vendors trying to sell something. My husband even wants to have his company Christmas party there. We looked at so many other sites from resorts to country clubs and beyond, but nothing compared to this. It is beautiful and decorated on its own, but is also gorgeous as a background for your own decoration style. Tavares Pavilion on the lake was everything my daughter and son-in-law wanted, and we were all thrilled with the outcome!

This is our third year using Tavares Pavilion on the Lake for our Holiday Party. They have always been very accommodating, professional and a pleasure to work with. Not only is this a beautiful venue but the clean up is easy and the staff very helpful.

So far so good. I had no problems booking the venue. I booked the venue over the internet. I spoke with Michael and he is a gem to this venue. He assisted me with getting everything sorted and planned my tour of the venue. I was already under contract, but they made my experience wonderful. I am going for my final tour today and I am extremely excited.

This location has amazing views for photos, perfect for small to medium size weddings. The stair case was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. The bar and dance floor upstairs was perfect for our wedding party.

My husband and I got married here on 2/25/17. It was our dream location to get married, a place overlooking the water. The entire process was painless, the staff was so helpful and truly cared about making our day special. Carrie was always prompt with responding to emails and her staff knows what they are doing. Michael walked us through every detail and worked with me back and forth on specifics that I wanted. The venue is so beautiful that we used minimal decorations for the ceremony and reception because you truly don't need much to have beautiful pictures. The guests were blown away by its beauty and so were we. Highly recommend this place for any wedding. Thank you to the staff for everything!

If you are lucky enough to get this venue-- you are in for a treat! I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. I mean... finding a venue this beautiful, and for such a great price, is few and far in-between. I feel like the pictures don't even do it justice. This place is really that beautiful. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how perfect it was, and neither could we. Carrie and Mike did a great job helping me tie up loose ends when things weren't going as planned... ie: cocktail hour outside and it was raining, last minute changes.
This place is a steal. Book fast because everyone is starting to find out about this hidden gem. :)

We had our wedding at the Tavares Pavilion earlier this month. Carrie and Mike were very kind and helpful. The venue is awesome! And so beautiful. The sunset over the pier and the glass windows behind the wooden staircase made for some amazing photos! Our out-of-town guests were in awe and said it felt like being on a cruise. The Pavilion is truly breathtaking.

I loved the Pavilion. I hear that most brides love their dress the most of all wedding related things, but for me this venue was so beautiful and amazing-it was my favorite thing! Carrie at the Pavilion and the entire staff were so wonderful to worked with. My guests were in awe of the Pavilion and the entire Tavares area. This is truly the perfect venue!

The team at the Pavilion worked with us over the 3 month planning period of our wedding. They helped us reach all of our dreams and were flexible in meeting our needs. The location is BEAUTIFUL and you cannot get better views of the lake! LOVE this venue!

The staff at Taveres Pavilion are very easy to work with and try to accommodate your specific event. The view is beautiful and the facility is set up well for a variety of events. Definitely worth checking it out.

What an awesome venue! Nothing like having your wedding literally right over the water! We loved every thing about having our wedding here. The staff are knowledgable and helpful. The venue is very unique (two stories, pier only access, etc) and the staff (Michael in particular) are very helpful in suggesting what works and helping you adapt your vision to the space. This lovely building has so much character designed in that very little decoration is needed. It oozes old Florida lake front charm. When we were several months away from our wedding it would sometimes take a few days to hear back from the staff via phone/email but as we got closer they were very attentive and responsive. We would absolutely recommend this venue!

Dream Venue!
Tavares Pavilion on the Lake is truly a dream wedding venue. For five years, I envisioned my wedding taking place here, and on 12/12/24, that dream became a reality. The Christmas decor is exceptional, and the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. From my perspective, my wedding was perfect, and we owe a great deal of gratitude to this amazing facility. I wholeheartedly recommend hosting a wedding or any event at this location.

Pavilion on the Lake in Tavares, FL
The Pavilion on the Lake in Tavares is the most beautiful venue. We had my wedding ceremony on the lower level, cocktails on the pier and reception on the upper level. It was spectacular. Amy does a fantastic job helping get everything needed prior to the big event. The décor in the Pavilion is that of antique luxury. Simply gorgeous. We had 100 guests and that was a perfect amount of people to still have room to dance the night away upstairs along with the dinner tables right there to observe. All the guests were amazed at how beautiful this venue is. I highly recommend it for memories that will last a lifetime.

Everything about the Tavares Pavilion was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. Our wedding was perfect and every guest was so impressed with the venue! I will definitely be recommending the Pavilion to all my friends who are getting married in the area. The venue is city-owned and therefore has some strict rules (no sparklers on the pier, caterer must be chosen from the Pavillion-approved list, etc.), however this did not impact my planning negatively, it simply changed a few of our choices for the big day. I truly believe there is not a better venue in the area for this price-range! Simply the best.

An absolutely beautiful venue inside and out. One reason we chose this is because we were having an August wedding in Florida and you can have the ceremony and reception indoors. However, the views of the Lake sold us. The staff is very friendly and will respond in two or three days max. Everything ran smoothly, they answered all of our questions and worked with all of our requests. We did a boat exit which was very Fun!

The venue is absolutely beautiful! You also get to choose between 5 different vendors. The only downfall is they have a lot of rules. However, our night was perfect and we were very happy with the venue.

We were so happy with Tavares Pavilion, it is such a unique and fun venue! We received a ton of compliments on the venue during and after the wedding. The building was designed to be perfect for weddings, and it is! It is such a stunning location, the photos turned out beautiful, and the staff was very helpful! We even designed our invitations around the Pavilion! Where else can you get married in the middle of a lake?

The Pavilion is absolutely GORGEOUS! When comparing to other venues in the area, they're actually very reasonably priced for how beautiful the venue is and the fact that your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception can all be in one location. I only spent about $300-400 in decorations for the entire day! They do require you use one of their 5 catering options, which I think is a negative. We used Pisces Rising, who is the only local caterer, cheapest, has amazing food, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. The Pavilion is NOT a WEDDING only venue. Other locations I toured were willing to bend over backwards to do whatever they could to make your wedding your dream day. Exceptions were offered at every other location whether it was coming in early to decorate, extending rentals by an hour, coming for a rehearsal dinner, or making a custom bar option that fit our needs. The Pavilion WILL NO DO THIS. They simply don't need your business and they know it. There are a TON of rules that they enforce to the letter - no real flowers inside, no fake flowers outside, no grand exit involving 95% of the traditional methods, candles must have 3'' head room from the flame inside their container, etc. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED everything about our wedding and wouldn't change a thing. But you need to know going in that this is not a location tailored to weddings and pleasing your every dream and wish.
