We tried so many different cakes while cake tasting and Denise's was the absolute best. She was so sweet and accommodating. She made our cake exactly how we asked and everyone raved about how delicious it was. Our servers made an error by serving the entire cake instead of saving our top layer, and Denise offered to provide us with a complimentary cake on our one year anniversary to make up for it. Her cake is so fresh and it is clear how much she loves to make them!!! Strongly, strongly recommend!!

Tastefully Wright was great! Easily the best tasting cake we tried of the several local options. Denise sat and helped us with the entire process (down to the cutting) and even showed up on site to help when some unforeseen heat threatened to ruin the frosting.

Tastefully Wright is definitely the way to go! Out of all cakes we tested, her cakes were the absolute best! Once we booked with Denise she was so enthusiastic and excited about helping us design the right cake for us. She was very accommodating through the whole wedding planning. The cake was delicious and my guests were definitely very pleased! I would recommend Denise to anyone that wants really great quality/beautiful cakes!

Denise makes an incredible cake taste wise and artistically! She had a lot of choices for cake fillings and adapted our cakes to meet our tastes. We showed her a design and she captured it perfectly. We also ordered 2 chocolate vegan cupcakes for 2 of our guests and they said they were extraordinary.

We absolutely loved working with Denise and we loved our cupcakes. Denise really listened to exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake and cupcake display and she made it happen. Right down to the detail. We could not have been happier with the cakes and flavors she made for us. Absolutely loved them. Denise is a peach!!! She was great to work with from the beginning to the end! My husband and I went to her house to try the cake before we chose her...and let me say...her cakes are so yummy! Icing is fabulous too! She is extremely creative and was open to any of our ideas and had many suggestions for our theme as well! She was accommodating to us even when we had to change venues 3 months before. She set up the cake display wonderfully. No complaints at all!!! I would highly recommend Denise to anyone!!!

Denise is a joy to work with! Not only is she so very personable, but also knows her cake! She is flexible and offers the best of the best. The cake is so good and so is the icing, which is not always true of wedding cakes! Denise is a top-notch baker, but also a fabulous artist! All of her cakes are beautiful! You will not be disappointed with a cake created by Denise!

Denise at Tastefully wright did an amazing job on our wedding cake, and "cake cups." Cake cups are fun and unique, they are like little cakes in cups that you eat with a fork. They are decorated beautifully with ribbon. We had 3 flavors, all of which were delicious. Denise runs this business herself & the cakes are all outstanding. The way they were displayed was also so beautiful and elegant. 15 days after my wedding, I only wish I had some left!

I'm a little embarrassed to write this review for my daughter's bridal shower cake 7 months late. When I realized I'd forgotten to do the review, I had to rectify the situation. We asked Denise for something different and fun and wondered if she could put together a "corset" cake for the surprise occasion. I sent her 2 or 3 pictures of styles I'd researched and said I would leave it in her capable hands. My only requests were that she make it in "hot pink" and that it be done in "good taste". It was perfect!!! It was the "talk" of the shower before my daughter arrived and was highlighted in many of the photos taken that day. Denise was helpful, answer emails promptly, and I would give her work and the creativity 10 stars if it were possible. My daughter just loved the corset cake as well as the uniqueness of it. Thank you Denise, and I'm so sorry for not getting this done in a more timely fashion.

Yum, yum and more yum!!!! Denise is amazing, and her cakes are so delicious and artfully crafted with love. Her attention to detail on our cake was spectacular! When I sent her a piece of lace from my veil, she even managed to incorporate it onto our wedding cake topper!
When you first meet her, she will give you a list of cake flavors that includes everything you could possibly dream of--- trust me, the hardest decision of your wedding will be what cake flavor(s) you want!! We couldn't make up our minds so each layer was a different flavor.
Our cake at our wedding was the star of the show, and we got so many compliments on it. We chose a birch bark design, and could not have been more excited or pleased by how beautiful it turned out. Our guests were amazed, and more than one person told us afterwords that it was the best tree they had ever seen or eaten!
Denise was open to ideas and suggestions, and helped brainstorm with us so many possibilities. She was excited and enthusiastic, and her sweet personality and thoughtfulness matches the sweetness of her cakes! When a few months before the wedding I requested to do a last minutes taste test again and discuss a few new ideas for the cake, Denise was available and excited to continue planning.
We already cannot wait for our one year anniversary to order another cake from her!
Highly recommend Denise and her deliciously cake!

We loved working with Denise, she was so sweet and professional. Her home/bakery was warm and inviting. She listened to our wishes and executed them perfectly. She also provided us an impromptu cake cutting lesson to ensure the best pictures. The cake was also delicious... I've eaten a piece everyday!

One of the hardest working people I know! :-) she made three different flavors for us. We had the chocolate Jamaican rum with almonds - to die for! And then we had her white sour milk with white chocolate also to die for! And our little cake was the pink champagne which was the same as the others! Her presentation was perfect. All the guests couldn't believe how amazing it was! We took some to the inn that we were staying at after and they thoroughly enjoyed them! Perfection at it's finest!

Hi Denise, The wedding was absolutely beautiful!!! Everything went off wonderful. We all had a great time and everyone stayed till the end dancing and drinking so I guess they all had a great time too. When we walked into the Hall and seen the cake sitting there all proud and beautiful up on it's pedestal we were floored!!! We knew it was going to be beautiful with you doing it but you went above and beyond. It was absolutely gorgeous and it DID indeed taste as good as it looked!! People raved about it and lots of people wanted to try the other flavor than what they got. Thank you so much Denise for making my girl Jamie's day be even more magical than it was.

I found Denise first at a show (in which I took home a sample, that 4 hours later, was still the best cake I had ever eaten to that point) and then again through another vendor. My husband and I talked about the options- she was definitely more expensive than some other vendors, but not by as much as we had assumed, and not by enough to wipe away the fact that all cakes we tried were lifeless in comparison to hers. So we went to meet her, figuring we'd make up our minds on the fly. We had some budget space, what's to loose? Well, we just about lost our minds (with joy!). She was incredibly easy to get a hold of, was prepared with samples, suggestions, and advice, her samples were AMAZING, and she was hilarious. Husband and I looked at each other as we ate the offered selection, politely waited for her to leave the room for a quick second, and emphatically nodded to each other. We were sold. The cakes are still being talked about, and it's been a month. The idea to have a cake per table instead of flowers was 'weird' before the wedding, and suddenly people want the names of the cakes, the vendor's name, and to copy the idea. I can't emphasize it enough- totally worth the cost. She had said "cakes are my thing", and I'd have to agree!

The day we arrived for our cake tasting, we found out we had to change our venue! Denise went above and beyond and jumped in the phone to find us a new venue! Our CAKE was gorgeous and their was not a single piece left! Everyone commented on how moist it was! We couldn't have been an happier! I loved the cake so much we had our rings photographed on it! Denise is very talented at what she does and has a heart of gold!

Oh my heavens is all we can say about this lady and get cakes! She is very kind and a great person to get to know. She will walk you through every step of what u want and then give u suggestions if need be. She will teach you even cut the cake!!! Words could not began to describe the cake the way it looked and tasted was out of this world fantastic! We had her make cake up also for all the little kids and they were just perfect for them! She even set of six a side for u to have for our anniversary but they didn't make it that far! :) would order again and again from the wonderful person and business

Denise was wonderful to work with. She was so accommodating for the tasting when I brought not just my groom but 2 bridesmaids as well. She was so patient and helpful when I told her I didn't know what I wanted my cake to look like and she did amazing work! We asked for a replica of our pet sugar glider and she made it perfectly!!! GET YOUR WEDDING CAKE FROM DENISE!!!!

With our wedding on December 28th we really wanted to capture the holiday and winter season as a major theme in all our details. We decided we wanted our cake to be a stack of presents tied with a bow, in our wedding colors with red, purple, wine and gold hues. We had our meeting with Denise and she actually LISTENED to our ideas, went with them, and gave us her thoughts that were exactly where we were going. (Unlike other cake vendors who tried to sway us in other directions. So annoying!) We even sent Denise a piece of wrapping paper that we used for our wedding favors. It had our colors, with an elegant leaf, bird, lace flower design. Denise actually matched the color and design and put OUR wrapping paper on our cake presents. It was perfect! We ended up with such a gorgeous, unique, delicious cake that really took center stage at our wedding! Many, many people commented on how beautiful and creative our cake was. They also thought it tasted great!!

Denise also went the extra mile with the presentation of the cake, and put a piece of gold fabric under it, and set up a framed description of the flavors using our wrapping paper as a mat around her printed sheet! What a fantastic, thoughtful touch!

And the flavors...so unique and delicious. We picked pumpkin, jamaican spice chocolate, and maple walnut. All amazing.

And last but not least, let me speak about Denise as a person. She is the sweetest, most attentive lady you will work with on your wedding. It is not a cake factory, but a kind person who works from her home and is actually emotionally invested in her cakes. She is as passionate about her cake for your wedding as you are. If you want it to be creative and perfect for your vision, she wants that even more.

We got married in October of 2013 but didn't celebrate until a few weeks ago, February 22, 2104. My husband and I eloped to Maine and got married at Nubble Light; a lighthouse that we have both visited and spent time at since we were children.

Denise had been recommended by a friend and colleague, and she certainly did not steer us wrong. We had no idea what we wanted for a cake and we had not done any homework. When we went for our tasting the only thing we brought was a picture of where we were married.

While tasting the three cake possibilities we chose, the idea of the cake being the lighthouse was born. It was so exciting to think that our cake would actually look light a lighthouse, complete with edible rocks, shells and even a mini bride and groom. Denise was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. She was professional, flexible and extremely helpful and accommodating.

The big day of our celebration had arrived and I arrived at the same time as Denise. She was bringing in the cake and refused to have me look at it until it was all set up. She thought of every last detail including a light in the top that went on and off. It was simply amazing!

We received so many compliments on the cake and people kept wanting to touch it to see if it was real. It was very hard for me to cut into. I did not want to ruin the beautiful creation Denise had made for us. Once it was cut and the cake was served, it did not stay on the table for very long. A friend actually had to go to the wait staff and ask if more was coming it went so fast. They couldn't keep up.

That day was also my sister in laws birthday. I had Denise make a special cake just for her. The next day all she could do was rave about how delicious that cake was. I have to admit I was jealous I didn't get to have a piece.

I would highly recommend Tastefully Wright when choosing a cake vendor and I know that I will be calling on Denise in the future for my cake needs.

What can we say about Denise? I knew when I first met her that she would be the perfect person to make our cake! She was so friendly- her enthusiasm was contiguous. The cake was delicious! Many of our guests couldn't believe that it really was a cake! Her attention to detail was great- I was blown away by the peeling bark and the flowers. The hedgehogs on top were perfect, too! Denise was so helpful- she even made a very last minute wedding cake for my matron of honor's wedding a few months before my own. She made a stunning cake without having met my friend. She is great! Thank you for your fantastic gift of baking and creating wonderful wedding cakes.

Denise created the most fantastic three tiered light-up castle cake - for my daughter and son-in-laws Tangled themed wedding.

When we met Denise, she prepared three samples of cake for our tasting and the four of us could not decide which flavors we liked the most. All were amazing and so each tier of the cake was one of the sampled cakes and each was extraordinary ! All of our guests loved it and most tried all three flavors of the cake.

Denise took great pains to get every single detail of the cake perfect for my daughters 'royal wedding', drawing inspiration from the same scene in the movie 'Tangled', that my daughter envisioned. She watched the movie over and over again, honing in on the colors and the feeling of the courtyard scene in the movie. Sheer perfection ! Detail was amazing - her vision is not to be believed. Denise really tuned into the bride and groom, capturing every little bit of their vision without being asked and recreated the scene to a tee.

I loved working with her and I absolutely intend to call upon her for futur functions, weddings and otherwise.

Denise made us the most BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS wedding cake a wedding couple could ever dream of! We got married last October and had a 3-tier cake, all different flavors, all of them AMAZING! Our top layer was a spiced pumpkin cake with a pumpkin pie filling in the middle...OUT OF THIS WORLD! Our guests, even a year later, are still talking about our cake, saying it was the best cake they ever had!

Not only the was the quality of the cake superior to any we've ever tried (and trust me, we tried A LOT!), but working with Denise was one of my favorite experiences. She's WONDERFUL! She's funny, caring, and incredibly helpful. She even calmed my mom down (who was getting worked up with the whole wedding stress)...a total angel! But most importantly, in working with Denise, I truly felt she was making the cake just for us, not like she was making a cake that we were just buying. The special details she added to make it unique and perfect for us as a couple meant the world to us. I can't possibly express how happy we are for asking Denise to have made our wedding cake; she added so much to our special day because of this! Wedding planning can be very stressful and even fun. But I can honestly say that working with Denise for our wedding cake was my absolute favorite part of the entire wedding planning process!

Denise, the owner of Tastefully Wright, was a joy to work with. We wanted both a cake and cupcakes and she was flexible when we discussed servings, flavors, and design. She did everything she could to make sure that the cake was exactly what I was looking for, was speedy with returning my calls and e-mails, and was absolutely hilarious in her responses!

I wanted to incorporate chevrons into my wedding somehow, and I decided that the cake would be the perfect avenue to go down. I also wanted a bit of ombre, which Denise was able to accommodate as well. The cake turned out absolutely gorgeous and funky - exactly what I had envisioned!

I cannot recommend Tastefully Wright, or Denise, enough!

Firstly when you read Denise's web page you can feel the love and humor she radiates. WE not only loved the look of our cake but the little bite I got was sooooo good( I was way to excited to eat a lot but do have the top frozen).
I have friends who are real 'foodies' and they have raved about how good it tasted 'for a wedding cake'.
The entire experience was delightful and the price was excellent and a great value.

Denise is such a nice lady and she makes you feel so welcome from the first contact. She offers tons of cake flavors and fillings, but if there's a flavor your looking for thats not on the list let her know as she's open to suggestions. Her cakes are so moist and not frozen way ahead of time. I gave her a picture of the cake we wanted and she replicated the picture perfectly! Our cake was gorgeous and tasted amazing! Everyone complimented us on our cake. I loved working with Denise and recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing wedding cake! I can't wait to order our anniversary cake from Denise!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Denise! She is the sweetest woman in the world to work with. Yes, if you don't live in NH, her house can be a hike to get to, but it is worth the drive! Her cakes taste amazing!! We tried three other bakers after choosing Tastefully Wright. Our wedding cake blew me away- it looked amazing. Everyone commented all night on how beautiful it was and delicious to eat!! I ate all of the leftovers the next day! I would recommend her to anyone! She is also extremely responsive, on top of being so nice!

This wedding cake was so delicious; moist and full of flavor! There were 4 different layers, but none of them tasted like the other. Each layer had it's own taste. The cake itself was decorated beautifully and Denise completed our wishes exactly.

I have absolutely no complaints about Denise, she was fantastic to work with! She was very personable and has an extensive knowledge about the cake making business. I went into our initial appointment not really knowing what I wanted and came out of it with a beautiful vision of our wedding cake. The tasting was to die for and the actual wedding cake was even more scrumptious. Numerous guests commented on how elegant it looked and how yummy it tasted. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks Denise, you're the best!!! :)

Our wedding cake was phenomenal! My husband designed the cake and Denise made our design come to life! It was creative, beautiful, and we received numerous compliments! Denise was accommodating and helpful! Our cake was delivered on time without problem!

Denise was so wonderful to work with. She had so many pictures and ideas to share when I really didn't have a clue on what I wanted. I made a few changes and she was very flexible. Because of my busy schedule, most of our conversations were via email and our cake came out exactly what I pictured. She was professional, warm hearted, open-minded. Everyone raved about the look and taste of our cake (which was 3 flavors!). I would highly recommend Denise and her cakes to anyone! Thanks again Denise!

The cake Denise crafter for our wedding was absolutely amazing! The color, the details, the flavors, everything about our cake was incredible. Worth every penny! Denise was a wonder to work with, so professional but warm and welcoming. She was open to anything, and you could see her creativity flowing as she thought up different decorating ideas. I have to say, I will always have a place in my heart for Denise, she was an absolute dream and our cake was awesome!

Denise was an absolute pleasure to work with. We did our tasting with her and got to pick 3 flavors to try. You can purchase an additional 6" taste cake for $10, which we did because we knew we'd have 4 tiers and wanted each to be a different flavor. Her option list is neverending and she'll even accomodate a flavor for you, if you have something different in mind. We ended up picking an almond cake with raspberry jam and raspberry mousse filling, a dark chocolate cake with mint filling, a lemon cake with lemon mousse filling, and the irish cream cake. We wanted to do something modern, bold, and clean. We reinterpreted a paisley design we'd seen and it came out amazing. I was a little nervous that my request was a too different from what she's normally asked to design, but the end result was perfect. We even found two paisley fabric birds in the exact colors on Etsy to use for our cake toppers.

We can't begin to say enough great things about Denise and her cakes. Just a few points that make her, by far, the most awesome cake-lady.

1. My bride has a gluten-allergy and she was more than willing and able to make us a separate GF cake so that she could enjoy a slice of heaven as well.

2. Meeting with her, Denise was so friendly and charming. A wonderful eccentric artist.

3. We had asked for her to make a 3-tier cake with 3 different flavours plus the GF cake. They were not only delicious but also stunning. Her sugar flowers are incredible and she made us the Beauty and the Beast rose out of sugar for a cake topper. It almost brought us to tears.

4. The value for the cost was simply incredible.

There's so much more to say about Denise and her cakes but the best way to find out is to see for yourself. You won't be sorry.

Denise did an amazing job, I couldn't imagine using anyone else for our wedding cake, and I can assure you we will be using her in the future for any special cake needs. The cake was more beautiful than I could have imagined, and I can't tell you haw many people raved for weeks (stills are 3 weeks later) about how wonderful it tasted. She was promt at responses, and more than flexible for times to meet with us. She kept everything documented and tripled checked all details to ensure we recieved exactly what we wanted.

What an absolutely beautiful and delicious cake we had for our wedding. Denise went over and above by adding her personal touches to the cake table to make the it a stunning display of how a Wedding Cake should "be presented", what a wonderful surprise that was to see. My personal request (beautiful high heeled flip flops) that you hand made in my wedding colors were such a hit. Everyone raved about how lucky we were to have "the cake" turn out even better than we dreamed.

Ladies, we had 3 different flavors for our wedding cake and a forth flavor for the kitchen cake, and they were all fantastic. I did my research on cake prices prior to meeting Denise and found that Denise's prices were much lower than I had anticipated.

Denise, I cant thank you enough for helping to make our wedding reception a huge success. Working with you was such a joy, it was so obvious that each cake you made and delivered was not "just a cake" but something you enjoyed doing and took great pride in.

From the first day we met, through the 3 hour cake tasting and many communications we had prior to the delivery of the cake, I never felt like a "customer", I always felt like a valued friend!

I take great pleasure in recommending you to my family and friends as well as anyone I meet (you know me, I talk to anyone and everyone).

I cannot say enough good things about Denise! As our cake was the primary dessert at our wedding, it was very important to my husband and me that it be a memorable and delicious cake. We went to five different bakeries before finding Denise (some of which were the places recommended as the "best in the area") and no other place could match the flavor and texture of Denise's cakes, not to mention the price, or, her friendly and professional manner! She was a joy to work with, so thoughtful and inventive. Our cake was a true showpiece at our wedding and we would highly recommend Denise to any other couple looking for moist and delicious cake at a very reasonable price.

Denise was absolutely wonderful to work with. I was purchasing the wedding cake as my gift to the bride and groom. With a little over a month before the wedding - Denise walked me through everything, offered wonderful suggestions and provided cakes for me to take to the bride and groom for tasting.

The end result was cake that was not only stunning to look at, but had a flavor and moisture that the guests raved over.

I would highly recommend Denise not only for her talants - but her professioalism and patience with indecisive clients. It was a great experience.

What can I say....AMAZING! My husband and I were blown away with Denise. I had called Denise to set up a tasting, after a friendly conversation we had chosen three flavors for the tasting. Key Lime, Mint Chocolate, and Pink Champagne. So shortly after we met with Denise in her home for the tasting. She was so hospitable, enthusiastic, and professional we knew she was "our cake lady". From discussing cake design, to a cake cutting tutorial, to sending us home with 3 cake tiers to help us decide on a flavor......Aces all the way.
PS.... we went with pink champagne. To die for.

I had the pleasure of trying Denise's cakes at work. Luckily any birthday or event that came up that needed a cake we got "Cake Lady" cake. It was the many times that I was able to see her designs and taste her cakes there that made my decision a piece of....well...cake! We chatted over the phone about what colors I wanted and designs and such, we went to her home where we were greeted with a few different flavors to test and we went through color samples (pieces of ribbons I brought) to make final decisions on the design. I couldn't have asked for a better, more beautiful and delicious cake or a better and more wonderfully kind person to make it. I have gotten a few cakes from Denise over the years and she has never let me down. From birthday to Mother's Day to my wedding day, every cake is perfect. She is a very kind and caring person who has a talent that goes beyond anything I could imagine. I highly recommend Tastefully Wright Cakes, you will not be disappointed.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Denise Fox! My now husband and I took a trip to her house. We sat, ate cake, drank coffee and she really listened to what we wanted. We had gone to other "top-notch" bakeries in the New Hampshire area and Tastefully Wright had- by far- the most delicious cake. Not only that, but Denise really seemed to care about what we really wanted. Our cake was beautiful...it looked like a work of art. Every guest I have spoken to said that our cake was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted. We had a layer of pumpkin cake filled with apple and topped with buttercream...how could that be any better? Save yourself some time searching for a cake lady...Denise is the real deal!!

Tastefully Wright makes delicious Home-made cakes. Our cake was no exception to that! With a list of different cakes and different fillings to pick from, we had a hard time choosing. We finally picked a chocolate cake with a mint filling for one layer, vanilla cake with Raspberry filling for another, and for the last layer we picked her delicious and unique Butterscotch cake with a Butterscotch filling. All 3 kinds were absolutly to die for! Never mind the fact the Denise made all of the flowers and little pumpkins on our cake by hand with Sugar! She was a pleasure to work with and we would recommend her in a heart beat!

This was a last minute request and we were very fortunate that Denise was able to fit our cake into her schedule. I was planning to make the cake myself for my son and daughter-in-law, but after my trial attempt, I decided it was best left to a professional.

From the first conversation that my husband had with Denise, to the tasting and pick-up, everything was a delight. The cake was exactly what my daughter-in-law had envisioned. The wedding guests thought it was beautiful and delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

PS Just when I thought, maybe I should call or e-mail and remind Denise that the wedding is coming up in a few days just in case she's forgotten, we received an e-mail from her confirming that the cake would be ready Saturday morning.

All we have to say is that it was incredible. When you book a tasting know that your finished cake will be both tastier and lighter than your sample cake and the sample cakes are absolutely exquisite.

Denise is the best "Cake Lady" you could ever want to have making your cake. Uniqueness is her specialty because she is such a creative person and will put all of that into creating your wedding masterpiece. Also, if you want to take in the full experience of the creativity, you will not want to see the finished product until you have the cake knife in your hand and are ready to cut.

We were honored and blessed to have Denise create one of our most memorable wedding moments.

Denise was an AMAZING cake designer. She invited us into her house to review cake magazines, come up with ideas, and to taste her delicious creations. Tastefully Wright is the best! Our cake was absolutely gorgeous, and best of all, not something we just picked out of a book. Denise was willing to design a completely different cake for us rather than making us pick something from her repetoire like some places do. The presentation was so nice--Denise suggested some tulle over the base and brought candles for the display--things I wouldn't have thought of by myself! And her sugar flowers--amazing. I'm so glad we decided to have someone as talented and creative as Denise make the cake for our special day! At our consultation, I didn't have the final guest count, so we estimated 120-130, I think, and as it turned out, there were fewer than 100 people there,(cake lover that I am, I didn't change the count, thinking we'd have leftovers) and almost all the cake was gone, so it obviously tasted as great as it looked!
Oh, and about the flavor, I had a somewhat unusual flavor request that Denise had not done before, but she happily accepted the challenge, and the result was fantastic! We tried three flavors at our tasting, and they were all so wonderful that we had all three as part of our cake.
All this for a very reasonable price! You can't go wrong with Tastefully Wright!

Denise is an extremely talented artist. She can make any cake absolutely beautiful! Her cakes are delicious. She has so many different flavors that you can choose from. When we went to meet with her the first time she had made us different individual cakes in the flavors that we were interested in so that we could try them and take them home for our friends and family to try as well! She is willing to work with any of your thoughts and ideas, and whatever she does will come out beautiful! She made our huge 5 tier wedding cake, and my family also hired her to make the cake for the wedding shower which was also gorgeous. She is a fun and delightful person to work with, and she keeps her cost low!

Oh my gosh we had a great day! The sky cleared just in time, so we were able
to say our vows outside. It was just wonderful. And the cake. It was
amazing. We got home VERY late after the wedding and some how we ended up with the top tier and all the left over cake. We were both starving so the cake was a tasty treat. It was the first time we actually had an opportunity to taste
it and it was delicious! So many guests told me how unique the flavor was and how yummy it was. One cousin who usually doesn't get wowed about stuff like cake even commented on how delicious it was. Denises specialty is sugar flowers and when she invited us to her home in Wilton for the tasting, I saw a bunch all over and I thought they were porcelain. You can keep them for years and years after. She spends hours handcrafting each petal out of sugar and theyre gorgeous. For our cake, she used a photograph I found while looking through her books and made the roses with exactly the same colors in them and had the leaves cascading from the flowers down the cakes (a touch she came up with after learning my leafy green theme and it was perfect). Our guests were delighted and amazed. At the tasting, she made us an entire cake for each of the flavors we chose maple and lemon raspberry. We loved both and used both flavors for our cake. Cake was very important to me so we ordered enough cake for everyone to have two heaping slices and there was NONE left. We didnt even get to have the lemon raspberry one at the wedding! We got so many comments regarding how beautiful it was! I got photos of it from 5 people emailed/printed for me. My mother in law is already ordering a cake from her for a christening =)

The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasty!! We can't thank Denise enough for doing such a brilliant job on our cake. It's exactly how we envisioned it to be. The sugar flowers were amazing. I was so busy I only got one bite of the chocolate cake and a small bit of the butterscotch, but everyone else gave rave reviews. Denise was fabulous from the cake tasting to the actual cake! So many compliments on how beautiful the cake was. I don't have picture yet but it was white birch with fern leaves... So many couldn't believe how real it looked. And the taste was fabulous... She even made a special cake flavor with are own maple syrup. She also helped us be creative with our cake topper. We didn't want the usual toppers. Highly recommend Denise to make cakes for any of your occassions.

Denise was great to work with and we had a blast at our tasting. She has lightening speed when responding to emails. She delivered and set up our cake at the reception with flawless timing, even though she came from an hour and a half away. We have many great things to say about Denise and her service. The only negative was that we (and our guests) thought one of our flavors had been omited. Our first choice was pink champagne. Apparently, it was there, but it wasn't pink. She said it didn't turn out during the mixing process. We would have expected, for the price, that she would have redone it until it was perfect. However, her cakes are picture perfect and they taste great.

Denise did a wonderful job on our wedding cake. The price was excellent and the cake tasted wonderful :) We were very happy with our selection. Denise was willing to help us in anyway that we needed and everyone complimented the wonderful taste of her cake.

Denise was excellent, SO quick to respond, and made us feel so comfortable meeting her in her home. Our cake was beautiful, and tasted awesome. The fondant was a pleasant surprise, as most are not very yummy. Our cake was simple and elegant. It was moist and delicious! Thanks Denise.

Don't be afraid to pay extra and try other flavors! Bring insperation and be honest about what you want and D will make it happen!! D is absolutely sweet as can be, Just like her cakes ;)
