Amazing. Professional. DELICIOUS

I genuinely have so many good things to say about this company. First of all, Davia was amazing when helping coordinate and plan every detail with our food. Believe me I had questions and she was nothing but patient and responded immediately. They had a whole pre planned menu (a book of options to choose from) but told me I could basically have anything I wanted even if it wasn’t on the menu. My guests said this was the best wedding food. There was not one complaint or negative thing to be said. From the beginning I said all I cared about was for my guests to walk away saying it was the best wedding food they ever had. Mission accomplished!
They also had amazing service (stewards passing apps, over all cleanup, water service, even setup!)
Our meal ended up being chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. My guests from out of town want to come back to St. Simon’s just for a chance to taste those shrimp and grits again! They also handled all our deserts including my request for color assorted and different flavored macaroons!
I interviewed and reached out to at least 8 different catering companies. None compared to Tasteful Temptations. From them professionalism of their service to the over all deliciousness. Thank you for making my wedding special.

Professional and Flexible

Tasteful temptations made planning a wedding so easy. Davia knew the wedding venue and could offer advice as well as flexibility when the layout and menu changed several times. The crab cake appetizer was a favorite among the guests!

Excellent in every way!

Davia and staff went above and beyond for my daughter’s Jekyll Island wedding at Villa Ospo. The food was delicious and the wedding cake was beautiful! You could not ask for a better caterer to work with! Highly highly highly recommend!

I was losing hope on affordable catering for our wedding when I heard back from tastefully temptations they were so kind and flexible fie pricing

Davia was my Lady of the event, whom not only did a phenomenal job but continued to impress me with her charismatic attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for our wedding day. She helped me cope through it all and never made me feel like there wasn’t anything I couldn’t ask to make it a comfortable yet still affordable for our tight budget and planned limits. She was so attentive and helpful during all the preparation, communication and adjustment and so patient and kind to me during my frustration and personal issues preparing for my first wedding as I was in charge and hadn’t hired help for a wedding coordinator. Scared and worried that the day of the wedding was going to be a possible disaster(on my end), it was the most beautiful and smooth sailing event and
Over exceeded my expectations. This company is here for what they do not what they make doing it.; and I highly recommend them for any type of event and will used them again when we need an event catered.

an all-star island service

From all the dedicated work and commitment to a large wedding at the Lighthouse gazebo (including chairs, fully stocked bar, and a delicious array of appetizers) for one daughter last summer to the assistance for a small, intimate wedding this summer at Gascoigne Bluffs for another daughter, Tasteful Temptation is an all-star island service for matrimony preparation and implementation. They are both personable and professional -- they aim to please, and their aim is true!

Amazing Caterers!

Thank you SO much for the wonderful food, delicious wedding cake, cupcakes and service you provided for our wedding at Villas by the Sea, Jekyll Island on Saturday 25th June.

Because we came over from England, we didn’t have the opportunity for a tasting session and decided to trust the reviews - we’re so glad we did as everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations.

We are especially grateful to the chef and serving staff for their outstanding service.

Tasteful Temptations was a fantastic company to work with! 100% of my communication was with Sara, who was fast with her responses, which was very important to me, since I was planning a Coastal Georgia wedding from San Diego.

Tasteful supplied food for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, both of which were great.

My husband and I didn't really have any idea what we wanted to serve at our wedding, but Sara helped us put together an amazing menu! We received compliments on the food all night long, both nights. We had tomato chicken and pulled pork for our rehearsal, and crab cakes, beef tenderloin, and
breaded chicken for our reception.

The event staff both nights were great, really went above and beyond for us. They even grabbed a photobooth photo at the start of the night, which I love!! Highly highly highly recommend!!! Thank you so much!

We had a hard time finding a caterer for our Jekyll Island wedding, which we were planning completely remotely. Lana and the Tasteful Temptation team came to our rescue. They are incredibly responsive via email and worked really hard to help us stay within budget. We did not find that sort of service from a caterer anywhere else. We had a BBQ for food, and the pulled pork, Parmesan crusted chicken, and mashed potatoes were particularly delicious. We had a lot of compliments on the food, which is not something people normally mention unless its reallllly good. And it was. They also did a customized donut wedding cake, and provided bar service for our event (while allowing us to provide alcohol). All around, they are an incredibly professional team and I am so thankful they catered our wedding.

My husband and I chose to have a destination wedding on June 15th in St. Simon's Island, which caused us to have to find and communicate with vendors from several hundred miles away. Brian and Erika, from Tasteful Temptations, made the process easy and wonderful. Communication was wonderful and they were quick to answer all of our questions and accommodate all of our needs and wants. We shared with them our budget and they created a personalized menu for us, which consisted of the most amazingly delicious food. Our guests are still talking about the food!!!! The "spread" was beautiful, always stocked, and absolutely delicious. We got a wide variety and could not be more pleased with our decision to go with them. We would absolutely recommend Tasteful Temptations to anyone needing catering for any reason. They helped us make our destination wedding reception incredible.

We hired Tasteful Temptations to cater our daughter's wedding reception on St. Simons Island. The food and service were exceptional. Our guests commented over and over again about how delicious the food was! Brian was easy to work with and offered invaluable advice regarding the entire reception. I highly recommend Tasteful Temptations for any catering needs in the Golden Isles!

Brian at Tasteful Temptations was amazing! The key lime wedding cake with chocolate shells was delicious! The food for the reception was superb! His staff was professional and personable.

Tasteful Temptations was absolutely wonderful to work with for my wedding. From the initial tastings to the clean up, everything was conducted with precision and professionalism. The food was beautiful and probably the best food I have ever had at a wedding before. My friends and family can't stop talking about how delicious everything was and how beautifully they arranged the buffet table. I didn't have to worry about anything with them in charge. Thank you so much for a wonderful event!

Absolutely cannot speak highly enough about Brian. He saved our wedding! We got married under less than ideal weather conditions...to the point where we didn't know if we were going to do the ceremony inside or outside up until the last few minutes before. He was cool, calm, and collected and made the ultimate decisions...had everything flow smoothly and it was perfect! The guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was. He did our rehearsal dinner and reception. We had plates saved for me and my husband and were able to enjoy dinner and a blizzard from our blizzard bar late in the night! He was a delight to work with and couldn't have been nicer. Would recommend him and use him again in a heart beat...Thanks to him, our day was great !(with the exception of the DJ, Island Sound...terrible!). You can completely put all of your trust in Brian as he knows the business and how to work around the toughest conditions.

I cannot begin to describe how perfect our reception was thanks to Brian and Laura! The food was delicious, the presentation was gorgeous, the wedding cake was elegant, and the groom's cake (a 4D A10 Warthog) was amazing! Brian and Laura were so easy to work with and helped to make all of mine and my fiance's dreams come true. All in all, I have to give them a 5.0!

Exceptional!!!
Quality of Service is Tasteful-Temptation's best asset. Laura Justice, co-owner, of the company is far more than a caterer, she's an angel who will do her absolute best to make your day special while juggling all the details. We were planning a wedding from a distance, so on numerous occasions, she met with us during odd hours. Not to mention, my mom had her on speed dial. The reception location also required a lot of work, with everything including the tables/chairs etc having to be rented and delivered from outside and cleaned up afterwards. She made sure with this extra challenge everything was set up to my taste, which is not an easy task. The staff is also very attentive and sweet. They also did our rehearsal dinner with much less time to plan as we were having a difficult time finding a location. It was equally as impressive.

Laura and Brian are trained chef's and have experience in high class resort kitchens, and it shows. They're also generous enough to offer it all for a great price. Other caterers in the area are either priced too high for mediocre quality and offer little flexibility with their location (which is a problem in a smaller town where there aren't that many venues for hosting a large party to begin with) or they only offer items like wings, BBQ, etc.. Finding Tasteful Temptations was the best thing that happened for our event.

What an OUTSTANDING experience working with Brian and company. We received so many compliments from guests attending my son's rehearsal dinner. He and his staff took all the worry out of entertaining 70 guests. Thanks Brian for your professionalism.

Tasteful Temptations catered for my wedding and rehearsal dinner and the food was absolutely amazing. All of my wedding guests were ranting and raving about how this was the best food they have had at a wedding before. My husband and I made sure to sit down and eat and the food was so good, that he got two plates! Working with Brian and Erika was great. They were more than willing to work with you and make sure you have exactly what you need and want at your wedding. Their staff was friendly and happy; you could tell they really enjoy their job! I had an amazing wedding and I was extremely impressed with Tasteful Temptations. YOU GUYS ROCK!

Tastefuly Temptations was great. They were very Brian was very helpful with everything and the food was wonderful. People still mention how good the food was. My favorite was the pulled BBQ pork sliders and the mashpotato bar.

Brian and Laura were great, especially when time got close and I was e-mailing them every other second. The food was delicious and they gave us a HUGE plate to take to the hotel that night. The presentation was also wonderful and they really went out of their way to work with us on price while still being able to get what we wanted. The only things I was disappointed with, the food at the tasting wasn't nearly as tasty as it was at the wedding and I wanted to use my cake topper and had told them so but they topped the cake with decorative candy. But it couldn't have been more beautiful. Or tasty. I would highly suggest them for your next event.

Tasteful Temptations was as professional as it gets. From the start, their team was quick to respond and provide us with all of the info we needed to put together our perfect wedding menu. I also loved how flexible they were in working with us at a non-conventional wedding venue. More specifically, Davia was a delight to work with. She was instrumental in bringing our vision to life, which she did by taking time to go through our entire rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at our tasting and by checking in several times. She was also always easy to reach by email and phone. Whether it was food or even air conditioning rental, Davia will make sure to put you in contact with the right people. Overall, The food was amazing and the service was great.

Tasteful temptations catered for our wedding Oct. 2017. Overall Tasteful Temptations were terrific and we would highly recommend them. Pros were: Veronica was a great resource and recommended several professionals to help with our wedding- photographer/ florist etc. They were very flexible and worked with us to meet our needs. They were willing to make anything/everything! We got plenty of compliments on how delicious the food was for wedding. Guests especially loved their beef tenderloin, shrimp and grits, and cheesecake. Many said the cheesecake was the best they ever had! The vanilla/strawberry tier of our wedding cake was delicious. We loved the strawberry filling. The staff was friendly and helpful on our wedding day. They had to-go boxes for us that were delivered to our room when we got back. That was really great because on the day of our wedding it was more difficult to enjoy our food so we got to enjoy it the next day. Cons were: our chicken dish was very flavorful, but it was dried out. The choc/choc buttercream tier of our wedding cake was a bit dried out. There were added fees that resulted in several hundred dollars. This was not itemized on our bill so we have no idea what this was for other than it covered their licensing fees etc. Overall, there were much more pros than cons and we would recommend using them as a caterer for your wedding our special event.

Food was fantastic according to all my guest. Brian did make a plate for my husband and I, however, I was too wound up to eat. Very easy to work with.

Cancelled 11 days prior to event :(

I requested a private chef dinner for May 7th on March 15th and the catering coordinator Sara Mosley informed me that the company was available for that date and that I would need to submit payment 2 weeks prior, thus confirming our reservation (or so I thought).

So imagine my surprise when Sara informs me that they are no longer available for our private chef dinner, 11 days prior to my event.

The only thing my bachelorette asked for was a private chef dinner and now I'm back to square one.

I would not recommend doing business with this company, they will clearly bail on you last minute.
