Delicious Creativity

What a perfect cake! Tasteful Cakes Inc. was part of the venue package for our wedding. They were able to create a custom cake for our Star Wars wedding! Our guests and bridal team absolutely loved the design and the flavor! We are looking forward to working with them again for future anniversary and birthday events again someday!

Incredible flavors and beautiful design!

We loved our wedding cake, went with the rustic birch look! Our flavors were amazing. We had the white cake with Mango mousse and white cake with lemon mousse/raspberry spread! Highly recommend Tasteful Cakes!

I love how they were able to incorporate my flowers to the cake. After my wedding day my family was asking me if there were more because the love our cake! We got red velvet with cream cheese filling.

Yummy Cakes

Tasteful Cakes was included with our venue, The Hacienda. We were able to try many different flavors of cake; all were delicious. They helped us figure out the style and even the colors.

Delicious and Beautiful

Tasteful Cakes is delicious. We were lucky to be introduced because they have linkage to our wonderful venue. We thought we were going to be trapped with mediocre cake and have no way of backing out due to the linkage. Much to our surprise, their cake was perfect. Light, just the right amount of sweetness, and a perfect topper to a nice meal. They gave us the ability to choose 2 cake flavors. We chose Corona sunset and Mocha - so that we had a nice mix of refreshing fruity raspberry tied with decadent chocolate. We made sure we had our entire top layer of our cake saved, and we dug right into our cake after the honey moon because we couldn't wait a whole year. It still tasted delicious. Our cake arrived on time and looked just the way we wanted it to. The cake was elegant, delicious, and exceeded all our expectations.

Everything was so yummy

My husband and I went cake tasting and specifically asked for “Corona sunset” because of other reviews that we had read on WeddingWire. Well, Corona Sunset was our wedding cake flavor. We also chose to have finger desserts like cheesecake bites. It was all delicious. I provided the bakery with a picture that I wanted replicated and they made it exactly. I am so pleased and will be returning for birthday cakes and other dessert needs.

Best Wedding Cake Ever!

Our wedding was in December 2018 and Tasteful Cakes created a beautiful four-tiered cake that was absolutely delicious. Our cake had buttercream frosting and each tier was a different flavor: mango, pineapple cheesecake, corona sunset, dulce de leche, and red velvet. The cake was absolutely perfect. It was subtly sweet, fresh, flavorful, and provided plenty of options for our guests. It was the best wedding cake we have ever tasted! Tasteful Cakes delivered and setup our cake on our wedding day. They do not place wedding toppers or flowers, but made it very easy for us to do so. The staff was great and made our experience highly enjoyable. We highly recommend this quality bakery.

Tasteful Cakes did my sons wedding. Not only did they do an amazing job on the cake, but it tasted amazing. Corona Sunset was the flavor and a huge hit. They also did a vegan cake for the Bride and Groom. The decoration was succulents and it was beautiful. They delivered on time and were so professional. Loved working with them.

Tasteful Cakes did our wedding cake. We got the corona sunset, chocolate with mocha mouse and the dulce de leche. Our cake was so delicious and it was so beautiful. They were so easy to work with and I can't wait to order another cake from them!

My cake was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I gave them a picture of the cake I wanted and they recreated it perfect. I couldn't be more happy with how it came out. everyone loved the taste of it, it was moist not dry and the flavor was great. I will use this vendor again and be happy to refer them to others.

Tasteful Cakes were great from start to finish for our event and I look forward to using them again for other life celebrations! We actually did 2 tastings and fell in love with the Corona Sunset filling :) They were so patient with us as we could not decide on how big we wanted the cake and helped us with visual sizings.

Our wedding day was tad more magical with Tasteful Cakes!

Thank you again to the entire Tasteful Cakes team especially Leslie for making our wedding day special. From our first meeting with Leslie, she was super accommodating and helped us envision our dream cake. She turned that dream cake into a reality when we finally saw the finished product on our wedding day. We're so impressed by the quality and detail of the cake, and not to mention how delicious it was!

Our guests were served cupcakes to compliment the cake. They thoroughly enjoyed them and I'm sure many came for seconds. Thanks again for everything Tasteful Cakes!

We'll definitely keep in touch for future parties/events!

This bakery was amazing. They were very accommodating when we tried wedding cake flavors; we went to more than 6 bakeries plus them and they had the best tasting cake and their service was great. You actually got to try the cake all put together not a cupcake and some flavors/fillings like some places. The cake designer worked with us personally to decide on the details and look of the cake. As for deciding on the flavors; oh it was hard because everything tasted so good. Our cake was so gorgeous and every bit of it got eaten and enjoyed. We even decided to eat the topper with close family the following day before leaving for our honeymoon because it was just that good ! We will just buy more on our anniversary, why wait :) This is my go to cake place from now on. Highly recommend. Worth every penny.

WOW!!! Our wedding cake was above and beyond our expectation! We can not say enough how beautiful it was! Perfectly textured buttercream, with burlap wrapped around each of our four tiers. We received so many compliments on the taste and how it looked! We highly recommend getting a cake for any occasion from Tasteful Cakes!

Awesome delicious cake. Our guests kept asking where the cake was from.

They added all the details we wanted and the quality was superb.

Tasteful Cakes created the delicious cupcakes for our wedding in Temecula and they were great! They made the ordering process very simple and provided delivery on the day of the wedding directly to our venue. The cupcakes were delightful and we look forward to visiting their shop on our one year anniversary to taste them again!

Our reception venue recommend them and boy are we glad they did! We ordered our cake last minute, 1 wk before our reception but they helped us accordingly and didn't even huff & puff due to the lateness, we tasted several flavors & saw several designs, they were so nice and helpful! I know people don't normally remember the cake or how it tastes but I still have guests telling me that they loved our red velvet cake! YUMMY!!

We did a steampunk themed wedding. They worked with our theme, colors and stayed with in budget. Some guest didn't even know it was the cake since it was so beautiful! And many went for 2nd rounds.

It's one thing for a cake to look good. It's another for it to taste good. This vendor has both, for a good price. The cake is light and fluffy, fillings are flavorful, and icing isn't too sweet. Our wedding cAke was enjoyed by everyone! Could not have been better!

Tasteful Cakes produced the best Wedding Cake I have ever tasted. I first discovered them at a Bridal Show at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa in Temecula, CA. I could not get over how delicious the samples were and how friendly the staff were! My husband and I could not find a cake design we liked for our event in their books, so they were very willing to make a cake from a design I found online. All I had to do was send them the ribbon I wanted on the cake -- disclaimer, do not use ribbon on your wedding cake (or at least not on the layer you want to cut through) because it was challenging for us to cut through it. However, their buttercream frosting was almost as smooth as fondant and we received many complements on it. We love the bakery so much, we even hired them to make the cupcakes for our Rehearsal Dinner! Would highly recommend them for any events.

My partner and I are a same-sex couple and it was really important to us to find vendors that were supportive of the LGBT community. Tasteful Cakes is wonderful! They are amazing at what they do. We just wanted cupcakes for our wedding, so we could have a few different options and because they are easier to serve, etc. We had about 60 people. We got 4 different cupcakes - white satin w/ raspberry bavarian cream, chocolate w/ peanut butter mousse, chocolate w/ dulce de leche mousse, and pumpkin w/ cream cheese. Oh my gosh, were they good! Our guests remarked at how delicious they were. I would take taste over look anyday, but they turned out so cute as well. We had a cupcake stand, and a small cake on the top. It was beautiful! We have used Tasteful Cakes for other events, and knew exactly who we would contact when we started planning out wedding. You can't go wrong with them for beautiful cakes that taste amazing!

I found Tasteful Cakes to be professional and creative. My wedding cake was over the top perfect. The guests loved it. They kept coming back for more. I wanted a specific design and went to several bakeries in the Riverside area. Tasteful Cakes made me a sample of my design and I was impresses. Tasteful Cakes was the company that was a part of our package at our venue, but we couldn't haven been happier with the outcome. The cake was gorgeous and tasted amazing! When we first tried their cakes, we tried a white cake with mango filling mousse and a white cake with strawberry filling and mouse. We asked if we could combine the two flavors into one cake, and they did. It was fantastic and working with Patty over emails was a breeze. Definitely recommend Tasteful cake.

I love supporting local businesses and tried four different bakeries before choosing this one. Compared to other bakeries, price was better, quality was better, options were better, and most of all, service was WAAAY better. It's a small business so you feel special when you come in...

They have displays and books with photos, so picking the size and style was easy and we weren't rushed through our tasting appointment like other bakeries. We chose a three tier square cake to serve 125 people. We had white cake with raspberry and lemon jelly-like jam, and white buttercream icing. It was a hit at our June wedding!

The lovely girl working the front counter made my decision so easy when selecting my wedding cake. We ended up with the Dulce De Leche filling and it was to die for! YUM!

For $98 our 8 inch round cake came out perfect and looked very professionally done. I am excited for our up coming Reception and I am leaning towards using them again for all our cupcakes!

My cake was beautiful and delicious! It was one of my top priorities to make sure I ate a piece of cake, and I made sure it happened! I was recommended to Tasteful Cakes my one of my bridesmaids who lives in the Corona area, I live in South Orange County. I was crazy overwhelmed with how expensive a good cake could be. It was literally a week and a half before my wedding and I emailed Tasteful with a few pictures of what I wanted my cake to look like. They quickly provided me with a quote. Unfortunately, that quote was out of my budget. Working with Tasteful we were able to work out a deal where they would make my "presentation" cake which would be decorated how I wanted, and it would be small. And they would then provide me a plain sheet cake, same flavor and everything to be my "cutter" cake. This significantly brought down the price to work within my budget. Everyone loved the cake and so did I!

We met Tasteful Cakes at a SCWRS event. They offered a number of delicious samples and allowed my fiance to try each, many times. We were educated and encouraged to save in ways we wouldn't have considered. Cake tastings were free and stress-free. They perfectly executed the design I had drawn and delivered without charge or concern. The cake was DELICIOUS and is still being discussed as a highlight of our night. My family has purchased many cakes from Tasteful Cakes and it was our only choice we considered as we knew they would perform. They were so helpful and accommodating and gave us pointers on how to save money. We chose 3 different cake flavors and 3 different fillings and were very pleased with the outcome.

The cake they made for our wedding was amazing!!! It look perfect and fit our theme exactly! It was three ters with corona delight, chocolate mouse, and lemon raspberry. The flowers were perfect that they made. Thank you so much and we can't wait to order a cake for our 1 year anniversary!

Easy, breezy, fabulous! The groom totally enjoyed the tasting and we were able to design and create a fabulous cake that guests were fighting over seconds for! A nice change from the wedding cakes you eat as a courtesy!

Most couples enjoy the process of selecting a wedding cake for their big day... but as a bride with food allergies, I was least looking forward to this aspect of planning. After calling several, and not finding anyone who could do a gluten free cake, we were referred to Tasteful Cakes by our wedding venue (South Coast Winery.)

When we spoke with them they assured us they could do a gluten free layer just for my husband and I, and make the rest of the layers a more traditional cake choice. When we attended our tasting, we were blown away at the variety of flavors and options they had for us. They had more than just the typical cake flavors... the dulce de leche & chocolate was amazing! We settled on a yellow cake & Hawaiian inspired filling (with pineapple, mango, orange) and best of all... the top tier was done in gluten free cake... so on our wedding day I was able to really enjoy that first bite of cake, while our guests were able to enjoy their traditional slices of cake.

Tasteful Cakes has now become our families "go to" place for birthday cakes, shower cakes and soon... anniversary cakes. :) Highly recommend their beautiful designs and flavor creations!

Tasteful cake was just excellent. There cakes are amazing and work with you to meet your needs for you wedding. They take great pride in their work and it shows in the product. The cake was also delicious!

Tasteful Cakes provided us a grooms cake and pastries, and they gave us a wonderful price for an amazing product! We received a lot of compliments from the guests claiming "it was the best chocolate cake I've ever eaten". We picked pastries for the wedding that weren't available to taste when we were there, but we trusted Tasteful Cakes and took their advice. The chocolate cream eclairs were unreal! I can see why it's their favorite.

Our cake person (Dannette Pollard DBA Another Perfect Cake AKA Bella Lou Cakes) completely flaked on us THE MONDAY BEFORE OUR WEDDING and we were left with no choice but to find another person 4 days before our wedding date. Needless to say, many of the people that we cake tasted with laughed at our request and said there was no way they could do it such short notice. Given that we were having a dessert reception, the cake was a crucial element of our wedding. We e-mailed Tasteful Cakes that Tuesday, and they responded right away and said they were able to accomodate us. Our cake was exactly what we wanted and everyone (including my husband and I) loved the way it tasted. I would reccomend them to anyone.

Tasteful Cakes was a fantastic cake vendor. They have a standing relationship with our reception vendor, but I would use them personally again!

The cake tasting was a fun and educational process. The consultant worked with us to explain our cake optionsand provided a few samples. However, it would have been nice to taste our cake flavors specifically. Instead we tried a few unique and non-traditional flavors that they had selected. Regardless of our samples, our wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. Our guests raved about both and love looking at pictures of our wedding cake.

I loved our half wedding cake half grooms cake made by tasteful cakes. Doing our cake was very last minute because I live out of state. I was able to email ideas and when I arrived the week of the wedding I sat down with a designer and planned with whole thing. We had so many compliments on the way the cake looked and tasted. First, my florist was amazed with your worked and said our cake she be featured in a magazine. ( That would be fun right?) Not to mention how spectacular the cake looked, it tasted even better. I was so thrilled with this bakery. We were so worried that we needed to order only with only three weeks until the wedding. They arranged their schedule to meet with us after hours so my husband and I could both be there. They were very helpful and not pushy. We really got to pick something we loved. The most fun was getting to taste all the flavors. Their dulce de leche was TO DIE FOR!!!
I cannot recommend them too highly. They even delivered our cake all the way to West Hollywood on a friday night with traffic and had it there ON TIME!

Our venue Tivoli Too offers the wedding cake using Tasteful Cakes as part of their all inclusive package. When we contacted Tasteful Cake, we were offered a free tasting even though we essentially had already contracted with them. We were given so many options under the Tivoli Too package which was surprising and appreciated. However, we ended up wanting specialty flavors for our three tiered cake. I also wanted a specialty design. We thought that we would need to pay much more for having our customized cake, but we didn't. It was extremely reasonable. We got the nutty monkey flavor (peanut butter, chocolate and banana), dulce de leche and coronoa sunset (raspberry and lemon). All of them were delicious and a big hit with our guests. We were so happy to find out that instead of the cake being an afterthought, our guests actually ate the cake and enjoyed it. Highly recommend them.

Their cakes really are the best. We chose strawberry, dolce de leche, and corona sunset. They tasted amazing and my cake looked better than I could have ever dreamed. There were easy to work with and listened to everything I said! Only reason they got a 4 is because cake tasting was only until 4:30 and they weren't able to make an exception. We still managed to go in twice for tastings (we couldn't decided the first time around, they were all sooooo good) and made it work. We will order cakes from them many times in the future!

Our cake was a part of our package with the Hacienda. It was a really great value for us and we really liked the options given to us in the package. We thought it was very generous for the cost and really liked the designs available to us also. Our only gripe was when we had our cake tasing appointment, they were not at all prepared and sort of whipped up whatever they already had for us. We waited around and only got to try some of the cakes and fillings. We ended up really liking what we tried. The good thing was, they were really apologetic and totally compensated by assuring us that our order would be placed with the new changes. On the day of, the cake was exactly what I asked for and I got lots of compliments on it. It was very pretty on the outside and yummy on the inside!

Tasteful Cakes did an incredible job on our wedding cake! It was so beautiful and tasted even better! The staff worked with us to help us get the cake we wanted! When I first went it, I wanted a cake that would be the focal point for the reception area, and Tasteful Cakes definitely delivered! I would recommend Tasteful Cakes to any bride and groom who are looking for professionalism and a cake that may be mistaken for art!

Our wedding cake was so delicious! Tasteful cakes has so many flavors of cake and fillings, and their cake is moist unlike some other places we had tried. I had them frost our cake smooth and then add lace around the bottom of each tier, it turned out gorgeous! They also gave us free delivery which was awesome. We were very happy with our cake, and will go back for other occasions.

I loved our wedding cake! It definitely was not a typical wedding cake but they went with our idea and made a fabulous Greek style building resembling the Parthenon. It was a bit expensive but it was well worth it. All my guests said the cake looked and tasted great!

I ordered my cake from Tastefulcakes. I set up an appointment and was able to get all of my servings within my budget. I did have a budget so I knew I would have to give a little. They gave me the most beautiful cake within the budget. I did come down in servings within the wedding cake itself but was able to do extra cakes for the servings. We tasted so many flavors and we had a couple special request and they made it on the spot. The hardest part was narrowing our flavors. They were very helpful through the whole process. I called over 15 times just from wedding jitters to ask questions and they always were happy to answer them even though I know I spoke to the same person a few times with the same questions over and over. The day before the wedding it was hot and we were having the reception outdoors I called to change delivery time so the cake would not melt and they said no problem we will deliver later. It was a wonderful experience and for my guest we had not a crumb left. It wasn't just the look of the cake for pictures it was the comments afterwards that stay with me. On the down side I just got married and we have had 3 special events 2 birthdays and 1 family reunion and I was incharge of the cake because everyone loved it. I do have to say though when I ordered the b-day cakes it was a great experience too. The decorations were out of this world. On the reunion I ordered indivual deserts and that was a hit too because everyone shared so they could taste a bit of all and they were so nicely decorated. We do have 3 more events this year and I know where I will be getting the cakes or deserts. I would recomend this vendor not just for your wedding but bridal shower, birthdays, anniversary, or just for a nice treat.

The cake came out exactly as we chose. It actually looked better than we thought. The cake was included in our cost at Tivoli Terrace, but that cost did not include much. We added a few things that made it perfect. They have everything you need to make the cake beautiful.

My mom and I went to several different bakeries in Corona and in Orange County. We heard about Tasteful Cakes from a friend and I am sooo glad I did! We went in without an appointment, and sat with Patty for over an hour, tasting everything. She was absolutley wonderful! When it came time for the cake cutting at our wedding, We almost didn't want to cut it...The cake was truly BEAUTIFUL! Not only was the design and finish presentation extraordinary, but the cake itself was delicate and at the same time, a splendid, confectionary delight. Their artistry is amazing.

We will be going to Tasteful Cakes for all of our future cakes and desserts...Everyone should stop by just to see some of the amazing stuff they do!

Our cake was part of the package through our reception at Hidden Valley Golf Club. There was a very small choice of designs of cake to pick from because it was included in the package, but could be customized by color. The cake was amazing! We knew that our guests would love it and they all raved about it. We had the Corona Sunset and the Dulce de Leche. Unfortunately, we ended up not having enough cake for everyone at the wedding and I am not sure how that happened. Maybe the servers at the venue ate it, I dunno.

As much as I hate to give them 2 stars, things could have been better. Customer service was amazing, cake was great. However, our wedding cake showed up to our reception and it was not what we had ordered. The scroll work was not right and was not what we had discussed. I emailed them a few days after my wedding to resolve this and the lady we worked with acknowledged it being completely her fault. That she had written the order wrong and wanted to send us vouchers as a resolution. Told her that wasn't a solution unfortunately since the shop is 2 hours away from where we live. We never heard back from them. Very frustrating to spend such a large amount of money on a very special day and not get what you ordered and then have no resolution to it.

Our reception package included a cake and we had 2 options for bakeries. Since Tasteful cakes was right around the corner from home we went there. The staff was great and everything looked wonderful, however, the tasting portions of the cakes they provided were quite the opposite of their name. The cake was bland and tasteless. I was so disappointed but I gave then another chance and ordered a few choice flavors for another tasting appt. In the meantime, I made an appointment at the other bakery suggested by my venue (Darla's Bakery, Chino Hills). We attended the 2nd tasting and it was marginally better than the first. Thinking this was the best I would get I went ahead and put in an order for the cake. That weekend I went to the tasting at Darla's and OMG!!!! what a great bakery. The cakes were moist and flavorful; exactly what I would expect from a cake. Needless to say, I cancelled my order with Tasteful Cakes and they were fine with it. They did not try to pressure me or question why I cancelled. All I will say is shop around before making a decision. I didn't have any cake left at my wedding.

Our cake package was included with our reception package from Hidden Valley Golf Club so we did not have much flexibility with choices. On their website they have a lot more flavors and varieties but we were severely limited. In addition, the design we picked out was not the design that was on the cake when it arrived. The cake was delicious but the outside was very disappointing.

The cake was beautiful and very tasty and moist. My guests are still talking about it weeks later, which I find unusual in most wedding cakes I have tasted. However, we put our deposit and order in 4 months in advance, and this business uses a paper system for orders. When we came back in store to pay the full amount before the wedding, they could not find our order. We luckily had scanned our paperwork to prove that we had placed the order because we would have had to go through the entire process again. They spent about 20 minutes going through their months of folders on cake orders to find our paper, which was for an April wedding but placed in the August folder. In addition, a week later, an employee called us at home to say that they were cancelling our order because it was not paid in full and "they were giving us the weekend" to pay it off. Well, we called them back to tell them we had already paid it off, then the employee said she never flipped over the paper to see our final credit card payment the week prior. No apology from them. So their product is fantastic, their pricing is on the higher side, but their paper system has got to go. If we had not personally gone in with our scanned paper on our phones, who knows what would have happened (could our cake never have arrived if it had been paid for in the beginning?).

I went into their cake place just off of a whim. I saw their ad at the tux shop and I thought the cakes looked wonderful. Although they were helpful the first couple of times, they seemed to be unresponsive when I went in before the wedding. I was just coming in to make the last of the payment and they didn't seem to care what I had to say. When I went in to order and design my cake I had a price range set in mind. When it came down to the price I was shocked and horrified how expensive it was, when they said they wouldn't go over my budget, and when it came to the day of the wedding it was EVEN WORSE!!! I had ordered a cake with only one specific instruction, "MAKE SURE YOU BRING BOXES!" I was horrified to find out that they hadn't brought any, and there was no way any of us could transport the cake off the premises. My mother tried her best to transport the cake, IN HER LAP, home, but ended up ruining her dress and the cake. I was so sad to see my top tier get ruined and the rest of the cake, because I wanted everyone to take home some cake from the reception.
To top it off (no pun intended) The cake topper didn't have an enforcing plate underneath it, and it sunk like the Titanic into the top tier! It wasn't even that heavy. The cake shop also told me that the cardboard plates, and the enforcing tiers inside the cake needed to be brought back! Like anyone is going to remember that... So I didn't get my deposit, after only having three bits, and my cake being ruined. I was so upset that I went in to complain, and all they get my was a gift certificate to their store!!! Like I'm ever going to go back in there again! The price, service, and attitudes were horrible, but the cake was good, but I had to swallow a lot just for three bites and no responsiveness.

I have called Tastefull Cakes a few times for information on ordering a wedding cake. I've walked IN to the bakery twice and talked to someone. Each time, they wrote down my information, and told me that someone would call me in the next day or 2 with information on the specific cake I want to order. I've never heard back from them!
I've purchased premade items from them multiple times for holidays, and they tasted great. I am just so frustrated that when I'm trying to order a cake for my wedding, they don't even call me back!
If you want to get your cake here, just know it's like pulling teeth if you want a quick response.
