  For a stress-free wedding day, hire wedding coordinator Kara from Tassel and Tarte

  When my daughter first mentioned the idea of a wedding coordinator, I thought it was an unnecessary expense being that we are both organized, detail-oriented people. But since the venue required a day-of coordinator, I didn't have much say in the matter. I'm so glad they did! I expected to be very busy the day of the wedding making sure details were attended to, and instead I thoroughly enjoyed the day, soaking it all in and having the time to be present with family and friends. We have Kara Burquest of Tassel and Tarte to thank for this. I so appreciate that she took the lead with all the vendors, so that we didn't have to connect with them regarding all their comings and goings. And I am so grateful that she and her assistant took over all the other details of the day, as well: setting out placecards and desserts, bringing bouquets and florals to and from the church, making sure everyone had their bouts and corsages, attending to various needs and requests from the wedding party and guests, and so on. If anything went wrong that day, I was blissfully unaware of it. I can't begin to tell you how amazing it was at the end of the night to climb into already packed cars. I just don't think I would have had the energy at that point to take down florals and pack away decor and gifts. And everything was done so unobtrusively! I remember looking over the room one time after it got dark and thinking how beautiful it looked in all the candle glow, and the next time I thought about it, everything was gone, loaded up in our cars. Kara was there before the bridal party at 9:00 am and was still there when we left after midnight, yet though the day was long, she was kind and thoughtful and smiling throughout. The entire wedding day was even more than we had hoped for, and we so appreciate Kara's role in this memorable day.

  Calm and Clear

  I run a professional string quartet and have worked with Kara and Tassel & Tarte on several weddings now. A good planner is worth their weight in gold to other vendors like us and Kara is a dream to work with. She communicates promptly and clearly, both in the lead-up to the event and on the day itself, and her calm demeanor helps everyone else feel at ease during a busy event. Kara spends time with us when we get to the venue, talking through the cues for processional music and then in the heat of the moment she cues us exactly how we planned (this doesn't happen with all planners!!). She listens to our concerns, if we have any, and makes everything right. You can't go wrong with Kara on your team!

  Hiring Kara with Tassel & Tarte was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. She was always flexible with my availability for meetings and had great vendor suggestions. She communicated with all of our vendors and created amazing day-of timelines. With her direction, our wedding day was amazing! I highly recommend Tassel & Tarte for all of your planning and coordinating needs!

  Seamless Experience

  Throughout our engagement, friends and family offered advice including there are always little snafu's and it's very likely that something will go wrong the day of so be mentally prepared to let it go etc, but there were zero issues on my wedding day thanks to this team that paid attention to every single detail. They were prepared for everything and I didn't have to worry about one detail the day or night of. When I walked into the ballroom, I knew I was going to be happy, but I couldn't believe how beautiful everything was. I would highly recommend their services they were attentive, detail-oriented, friendly and organized!

  T&T made our wedding day possible!

  Nick and I, our families, and our whole wedding party could attest that Kara was an essential part to our wedding day and did an exceptional job as our day-of-coordinator! Kara was easy to communicate with, she always made time for our questions, made sure she understood our vision, she was in the loop with all of our decisions, and offered advice when we needed it. Kara went above and beyond to help us as our wedding took place in a state where we did not live. During our initial phone conversation, I mentioned that we had a budget for our coordinator role and Kara assured me that we would make it work. The days leading up to our wedding, we were so impressed with how professional Kara was when communicating her timeline schedule with vendors and our wedding party, which was extremely helpful! Kara was present at our rehearsal, and let me tell you, it would not have gone as smoothly as it did had she not been there! On our wedding day, Kara coordinated so many behind the scenes details in order for us, our parents, and wedding party to enjoy the day! I trusted Kara completely to execute our wedding plans and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants an incredible day-of-coordinator!
