Our wedding weekend at TSV / The Blake was truly a dream. We picked TSV because of the vibe that is created by being nestled in the middle of GORGEOUS mountains, the beautiful rooms and amenities at The Blake, and the little shops and restaurants in the center of it all. One thing that my husband and I loved is that the entire weekend we could go to grab coffee, go on a hike, or go grab some food and we would run into our closest friends and family. TSV created an environment that surpassed our hopes for our wedding weekend. On top of all this, the staff we worked with (Sara Coyne, Lauryn Mangat) became friends. They cared about our vision (even when it was not exactly easy or convenient lol), respected our budget, and worked with us and our planner to make not just our wedding day, but our wedding weekend, extremely special. TSV will forever have a piece of our hearts and we are so excited to visit in the years to come!Taos Ski Valley's reply:

We hade our wedding at the Taos Ski Valley in October. We have nothing, but positive things to say about this venue. They worked with us every step of the way. They understood how important this day was to us and they did not hesitate to answer our questions or go out of their way to help us. Both Lauryn and Sara are amazing. They set up planning meetings, have tasting events, and really make the Blake feel like home. The catering staff were kind and helpful. The food was amazing. We had multiple people tell us that the food was the best wedding food they had ever had. The pricing is reasonable for all that we received. The venue offers spectacular views and the space is perfect. We loved our experience and will always be thankful for our decision to work with the Blake.Taos Ski Valley's reply:

Review for Taos Ski Valley and The Blake Wedding Venue
I recently had the pleasure of hosting my wedding at Taos Ski Valley and utilizing their stunning wedding venue, The Blake. I cannot express enough how impressed and thrilled my husband and I were with the entire experience. From start to finish, the staff, the scenery, and the overall ambiance exceeded our expectations.
First and foremost, the team at Taos Ski Valley was incredibly professional, attentive, and accommodating. From the very beginning of the planning process, they were there to answer any questions we had and provided us with valuable guidance. Their expertise in wedding coordination was evident as they seamlessly handled all the logistical details, ensuring that everything ran smoothly on our special day.
The Blake wedding venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. Nestled in the heart of the Taos Ski Valley, the venue boasts stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and landscape. The modern, yet rustic design of the space perfectly encapsulates the charm and beauty of the area. It provided the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception, allowing our guests to fully immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere.
One of the aspects that stood out the most to us was the level of personalization and customization they offered. The team went above and beyond to understand our vision and bring it to life. From the decor to the menu, every detail was executed with precision and reflected our unique style. They worked closely with us to curate a menu that catered to our dietary preferences and ensured that our guests' culinary experience was exceptional.
The service provided by the staff was impeccable. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and handled every request with a smile. They made sure that our guests felt welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire event. The coordination between the venue staff and our wedding planner was seamless, allowing us to relax and enjoy the day without any worry.
Furthermore, the surrounding amenities and activities available at Taos Ski Valley added an extra layer of enjoyment to our wedding weekend. Our guests had the opportunity to indulge in skiing, snowboarding, and other winter activities, making our wedding weekend a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Overall, hosting our wedding at Taos Ski Valley and utilizing The Blake wedding venue was an absolute dream come true. The picturesque location, personalized service, and exceptional attention to detail exceeded our expectations and created a truly magical experience for us and our guests. Perfect Mountain Wedding
This was the only venue we looked at - We've known we only wanted to get married here for years. Our TSV Wedding experience began with the Sales Manager who worked with us for months to set up the perfect wedding and contract for our vision. The Events Manager then takes over, who knows the venue inside and out to create your vision in the venue. We absolutely loved the venue, the setting is gorgeous. But the people you get to work with make it so special. One other thing to mention is that the food is incredible. We did the Rio Hondo Buffet and are still talking about the food with our guests months later. The green and red chile with enchiladas + the red chile chocolate sauce on the churros - seriously drooling writing about it now. 9/30/22 wedding
Amazing venue!! Taos ski valley team is phenomenal. Hotel is modern New Mexican, rooms are huge and spacious and reasonably priced. Scenery you can’t beat! If you want a fall wedding with aspens and greenery you can’t beat this venue! The catering team is also amazing and we had multiple compliments it was the best wedding food people have had. Overall I have nothing bad to say about this venue :)Taos Ski Valley's reply:

As seasoned wedding planners and coordinators with La Luz Weddings & Events, we have the honor of working alongside many different venues across NM and the US. Taos Ski Valley tops the charts of our recommended venues for several reasons-
1. The staff is outstanding! Sara, your contact leading up to your big day is highly invested in the success of your event. She's knowledgeable, flexible and fun! She goes above and beyond for her treasured clients- she even spent part of her day off looking for a missing decor element the day after a wedding! Michael, the on-site event manager, takes good care of all clients and vendors involved in the big day. His service goes beyond "what else can I get for you?" and allows him to get to know you personally. The day-of catering and bar staff led by Kas and Michael are stellar and took care of every need! Lauryn was more than happy to work beyond her job description to pitch in and help transport ceremony decor to the reception location. We cannot sing their praises highly enough.
2. The foooooood! We've had our fair sampling of wedding food throughout the years and everything served at TSV tops the charts! If you choose TSV as your venue, DO NOT skip the queso blanco (white queso)! The meal we ate was a step (or 5!) above traditional wedding cuisine. Our compliments to the chef!
3. One reason you're probably looking at TSV is for the innate beauty of the space. The Kachina Platform is naturally lovely on it's own but can be elevated with touches - simple or extravagant! When you're taking portraits with your photographer, make sure they know about the waterfall near the Phoenix. You will not be disappointed!Taos Ski Valley's reply:

Dream wedding!
I can’t say enough good things about the Taos Ski Valley team - they were organized, thoughtful, incredibly creative, and so flexible as we navigated COVID restrictions. The wedding was planned remotely and very DIY, and they were so receptive to and helpful with all of the logistics and challenges that come with that. A few of our guests say that they’ve never been to such a gorgeous location for a wedding, and while I’m biased, I feel the same way - it was so special for our friends and family to gather here and celebrate in such a beautiful place in the world. We had the most perfect wedding. Robin was amazing at planning and accommodating everyone in our party. The manager at the Blake even let us have a pizza party in the penthouse suite so we could all have dinner together the night before the wedding. He even sent an employee to go into Taos and pick up the pizzas. Everyone at The Blake was so professional and kind.Taos Ski Valley's reply:

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding weekend! Kaela and her team at Taos Ski Valley were helpful at every step and made our day incredibly magical. We couldn't have asked for an easier planning process, even with the added difficulties of planning from afar in Texas. Kaela even helped organize the welcome part the night before the wedding, which was amazing. We would do it all over again in a heart beat and plan on making Taos Ski Valley a frequent travel destination in our future.Taos Ski Valley's reply:

Great experience very Accommodating
We got married June 2023. Lauryn M was who we were in contact with the most, and through the whole process. She was very organized and helpful when it came it picking out the details, and was able to answer every question and concern we had! We had our ceremony at the Kachina basin. Overall it was a very beautiful location minus all the downed trees from a previous storm. Our reception was held at the Bavarian (we were told we were the first wedding to be held there) it was very easy for our guests to walk from the ceremony site to the Bavarian. Our wedding was held outside on the deck. The Bavarian did have a fixed menu so we were not able to change anything, but the food was very very good. We were however able to opt out of their dessert and bring our own. They also provided all the silverware and plate settings. We did not have a DJ but were we able to plug in our phone and play the music through their speaker system. Lauryn and the other Taos staff members were with us the whole time and were able to accommodate for all our requests.Taos Ski Valley's reply:

The Best Day
Taos Ski Valley worked so hard to make our day amazing! Kaela was so helpful and worked hard to accommodate our desires. Andrew was wonderful to work with the F&B side. You can't beat the stunning views or the pricing. Don't sleep on Taos Ski Valley. -EricaTaos Ski Valley's reply:

Labor Day Wedding
At the end of the day, everything ended up being perfect and we LOVED our wedding. We also love TSV and would recommend getting married there to absolutely anyone. The Blake is also wonderful and all of our guests loved their rooms. The service staff at the wedding was a highlight for us and our guests – they were all so accommodating and fun! We did have some issues that stemmed from change in management between when we booked (2019) and our wedding date (2022), but I am hopeful that couples will no longer have to deal with those issues. However, I would suggest that you hire a comprehensive wedding planner to help with communication with the venue and be aware that there may be significant upcharges for items after you book.Taos Ski Valley's reply:
