Experience of a Lifetime

If you want people to talk about your wedding, and call it the coolest wedding they've ever been to, Tanganyika is the best place to get married. Being able to include animals in the festivities was a huge hit. We had 5 animals come visit during our cocktail hour, and it really helped keep guests busy while we did last minute photos (and snuck in a private dinner).

The team here really knows how to keep events on time and they do a great job of communicating with the rest of your vendors. Beyond the cool atmosphere, the team really just knows how to help wherever you may need it.

BEST venue ever!

This venue meant a lot to my husband and me. It was a very easy and stress-free process to have everything done. Ashlee was a joy to work with. She was very attentive the day of and was there whenever we needed her help. Our wedding ran smoothly and flawlessly even if the weather wasn't.

Just what I wanted for my Wedding

Tanganyika was a wonderful venue for our wedding!! Connie, the event planner, was very helpful and always responded very quickly. Connie was able to make any last minute changes happen without making you feel like you’re an inconvenience. She always had a smile on her face and just made you feel very comfortable. She went above and beyond especially after finding out my parents tested positive for Covid-19 and would not be able to make my wedding so she pulled strings and arranged for a videographer for the ceremony so my parents could still watch it. We picked a penguin as our animal ambassador and it was the cutest thing having it walk down the aisle. I would highly recommend Tanganyika to everyone.

Amazing Venue

Ami and Connie were amazing. They made our day wonderful. They were very helpful with everything. The venue was amazing. They went above and beyond their call of duty. Thank you so much Ami and Connie for all that you did to make our day special and wonderful.

The best choice we made!

Tanganyika was an absolute dream! Ami and the staff are wonderful and made our big day absolutely magical! We had a penguin walk down the aisle!! 😍 Plus we felt great about helping out a great cause! With COVID and all the craziness, we were thankful to have such a versatile venue, plus a way for guest to keep the kiddos entertained. We could have asked for a more perfect day!

Responsive and Happy to Help

We worked with Ami this year and she was awesome! Not only did she know how to calm me down when I was feeling a little anxious, but she was super easy to work with! We loved our venue and the staff was super helpful! If you love animals and you want to work with knowledgeable, trustworthy people, I would definitely recommend Tanganyika!

Saved the day!!

My husband of 20 years and I had been planning our dream wedding for so long that when Covid threatened to not only ruin our wedding once but twice I was broken. The first time we postponed and the second time our venue canceled but I wasn't giving up. We love TWP and spend many weekends with our kids there, we even shot our love story there so when we got the cancel notice a month before I called them. They have an amazing event coordinator Ami and she set us up to come look that evening. We got there and it seemed meant to be. They didn't hesitate to take on all our craziness and they worked well with all our vendors. We wanted the fairytale and they delivered. From chandeliers and draperies too a sloth greeting guests at our cocktail hour too making sure we had room for all the extras I wanted. They really did come through for us and I will forever be grateful! They made our day WONDERFULLY AMAZING!! Thank you so much Matt, Ami, and the entire staff that helped make our dream wedding happen!!

Beautiful and helpful

The entire Tanganyika team made our wedding so wonderful! We had a penguin go down our aisle and multiple animals visit! Our guests were able to go into the Park which saved us money on having the bar open later while we finished our photos up. Ami was fantastic with being available when we needed her and she stayed the entire day! I helped my best friend plan her wedding somewhere else and couldn't believe how much more Ami would do. She even took out the trash! My guests couldn't stop talking about how magical Tanganyika was and my grandma called it the "Disney" of Kansas. You should definitely consider getting married here!

Great space

Amy, is amazing ! She helped us out a week before the wedding and got us set up with a area due to our last venue not working out! She was kind and very very understanding and helped us out! The area is very beautiful and perfect for our day ! I recommend anyone in the Wichita area to hold there wedding here !

A lovely day enjoyed by all!

The venue as wonderful. Ami was incredibly helpful and the guests had a blast visiting the park on the day of the wedding. The only negative Is that the aisle is difficult in heels. I would recommend that they use pavers or fill in the gaps between stones. That is minor though. I loved Tanganyika!!!

Tanganyika Wildlife Park

I had the pleasure of being the Day of Coordinator for my Step Daughters wedding held at the Tanganika Park Venue June 1st, 2019. The grounds were beautiful, the animals were magical, and the venue staff were superb. Working with Corey and his team was a seamless process. Corey and Emily were pleasant, always attentive, patient, and eager to help. This special day was highlighted by the ambassador animals and their presenters. Everyone was courteous, professional, and flexible. I fear you can’t put a price on their assistance through the whole process. We can’t thank you enough. The Bride and Groom are so happy and that is priceless.

A Wedding Dream Come True

Tanganyika was amazing to work with! Taylor from Tanganyika made it so easy to plan our wedding and she made it run so smoothly. She sent monthly updates to keep us on track and was super sweet the whole time. Tanganyika is also so beautiful and you can have the ceremony and reception all in one place. I highly recommend!

I am SO happy we chose Tanganiyka for our wedding & reception venue! The team was fantastic to work with, the park is beautiful, and our guests had a great time. TWP is especially great if you anticipate having a lot of kids at your event- they definitely get a kick out of seeing and interacting with all of the animals. Taylor Clark (event planner & coordinator) was a huge help that day as well- thank you for helping make our day unforgettable!

Tanganyika was a great venue for our wedding. Taylor Clark was sooo easy to work with and went above and beyond anything we expected of her! We were able to take a package they had available and customize it to our needs for our big day. Everything about Tanganyika and the staff was perfect! We had absolutely no issues.

I very much enjoyed my venue and am so glad that I chose them. They were truly there for us every step of the way in whatever capacity we needed and very easy to work with. I loved the interaction with the animals for a unique wedding day experience. I would do it all over again! (Included in my price was a back drop and photo booth usage.)

Courtney was so great in helping us prepare for our big day! She was always professional and always really easy to contact when I had questions! She even calmed my nerves on nights when I would stay up late worrying about how everything was going to workout! Tanganyika is a stunning venue with helpful staff that go above and beyond. Our venue liaison responded to any concerns extremely promptly and was always available when we needed her. The venue was flexible with our short notice wedding and even helped us make it work when we had more guests than we expected. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I don't even know where to begin on how satisfied my husband and I were with Tanganyika. We had the pleasure of working with three people from the event staff and they were all amazing from the beginning. Holly went out of her way and stayed late one evening so both of us could be there to check out the venue. We fell in love and booked it that night. From then Holly checked in with us on how wedding planning was going and helped keep us on track. Courtney transitioned in and was just as wonderful! Anything we needed or had questions about she was on the ball in helping us. Matt was our contact the day of the wedding and he made sure neither of us had to worry about anything!! He did such a great job making sure everything flowed and happened when it was "supposed" to. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't go anywhere else! It was an absolute pleasure working with everyone at Tanganyika. They really care about making your wedding day special and unique. All of our wedding guests still compliment the beautiful venue and of course the perks of getting to see the animals up close and personal! THANK YOU!! :)

If you identify as an offbeat or non traditional bride and want to have your guests raving about your wedding Tanganyika is the way to go. I had the pleasure of working with both Holly and Courtney and both event coordinators were so kind and helpful they felt like my best friends. The communication throughout the entire planning process was impeccable and I really appreciated that Courtney paid attention to every specific detail I gave her. We had both our ceremony and reception here and it invaluable to have a ton of parking and not have to move my grandparents far. The park itself is gorgeous and the photo opportunities we had were incredible. Although we were first a little shell shocked by the venue cost we were able to make it work in our budget because you simply don't need a ton of decor in to dress up the Manyara Garden or Serenghetti room. Our guests loved the animal ambassadors and I know we will hear about the fun memories for years to come. Everyone on the Tanganyika staff is great and I had the perfect day because of their hard work.

Tanganyika is the most unique wedding venue in Wichita! We had our ceremony in the beautiful garden and our reception indoors, in the Serengeti room. It was nice to have everything in one location, as many of our guests were from out of town. The room is spacious and they even have a new addition of uplighting. They offer a bridal suite, with your own private restroom, and a nice kitchen area with a bar.
The best part was having the penguin come to the reception and visit our guests, along with the binturong (Asian Bear Cat)! Where else can you have a penguin come to your wedding!?! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Courtney, the Events Coordinator, was so flexible and really went out of her way to make the planning process easier for me. She even held my dress as we went through the Park for photos with the animals, and provided the bridal party with water as we were taking pictures. The waterfall and field make for the most beautiful photo backdrops too. Our guests ranted and raved about how fun our wedding was and we credit that to Tanganyika. They are more than just a venue, they're an experience. A Wildly Different one at that!

We cannot say enough about the great experience we had at Tanganyika Wildlife Park! The venue is beautiful and dynamic, and the staff is wonderful to work with.

We had a specific idea to get married outside, eat dinner inside and return outside to dance under the stars, and we really appreciated Tanganyika's willingness to accommodate our plans. We were also attracted to the venue because of the photo opportunities, and we were not disappointed. The field to the west of the park provides the perfect location for some gorgeous sunset pictures!

The staff at Tanganyika went above and beyond to make our big day a very special one. From planning meetings and answering random questions, to the very last-minute details on the day of, Holly was an amazing event coordinator and we are so thankful for all of the assistance she provided! Many of the local vendors (caterer, flowers, cake) we worked with were familiar with Tanganyika, which made it easy to coordinate delivery times, set up, etc., and Holly was very helpful in making sure everyone knew where to go and what to do when they arrived.

We are so glad we chose to get married at Tanganyika and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique location.

This venue is ideal if you are wanting a big open space. Tanganyika provided us with everything we needed when it came to a bridal suite, kitchen, tables, chairs, etc. I have been in or attended weddings where the venue is choppy spaces and it is easy to lose track of the bridal party or guests miss out on certain activities during reception. Tanganyika is nothing like that! Everyone could see what was going on at all times. We liked the venue so much, I even had my bridal shower out there. Their event coordinator, Holly, was very personable. She was always easy to get a hold of, they never made a fuss if there was a last minute change, and kept in touch with me throughout my 2 year engagement. I highly recommend Tanganyika for event planning!

I thought this vendor was expensive, but the money helps pay to take care of the animals and the park during the winter months when the park is closed to the public. Holly, the events coordinator, was super helpful. She was right there all day. If we needed anything, she would get it. When we were walking around taking our wedding photos, she held my dress so it wouldn't drag and carried water bottles for us. At our last meeting with her, about a week or 2 before the wedding, she wrote down all of our vendors names and phone number (and also what time they were showing up) so that on the day of the wedding if somebody hadn't shown up when they were supposed to, then she would call so we didn't have that extra stress out on us.

I am not sure if there are enough words in the English language letting everyone know how Wonderful Tanganyika is on your wedding day. From water, to towels so you don't get dirty, to the friendliest staff you have ever met. You might think a Zoo is childish or not classy but you will be completely wrong. The venue made our pictures GORGEOUS, the kids loved it, my parents thought Holly was Top of the line. Holly was so wonderful to the point that I felt like a gained a friend. The accomidated all of my needs and if for some reason they could not Holly found a way to make it work. My family and friends still keep talking about our day as the BEST wedding ever! We could not of done it without Tanganyika Wildlife Park and we definitely could not of done it without Holly ..

Don't miss out on the wedding of a lifetime!

My hubby and I are so happy we had our ceremony and reception at Tanganyika. Holly was so helpful during the planning process and always responded to us quickly. She was a HUGE help on our wedding day, escorting us around the park wherever we wanted to take pictures, and even carried the train of my dress for me :) The venue is such a beautiful place and we can't wait to see the pictures! Everyone loved seeing all the animals and we got several compliments from guests on picking such an awesome venue! Tanganyika exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them for weddings or any event!!

Wow. I can't even describe how amazing Tanganyika and Holly, the events coordinator, are. They have over and beyond exceeded all my expectations. Holly worked with me from the beginning and made sure my vision was carried out. The place is absolutely breathtaking and I cant wait to see how the pictures turned out. We even got pictures with my wedding party with giraffes! This is such a fun and unique venue to have your wedding and I got so many compliments on the venue. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

I chose this venue for it's flexibility and value. You can have any caterer you want, or even bring your own food. You can purchase and bring your own liquor and drinks. It was the best option for us to stay within our budget. The coordinators were so helpful! We took pictures before the wedding reception and they were both out there with us and they even helped me with my dress which I really appreciated. The bridal room to get ready in was very clean and convenient for my group, too. The kitchen and bar area was the perfect size as well. There's a projector you can utilize which I made sure we did! We had a lot of guests (roughly 300). So the tables were pretty crowded, but I expected that already so it wasn't a big deal. Our guests like to get up to walk around and mingle anyway. Basically, I loved everything about this place. My reception was perfect!

We had our Daughters wedding at Tananyika and could have not asked for a better place to have it. All guests were able to walk around the park before and after the wedding. The weather was great and the Staff was great to work with. If we had a questions Mellisa or anyone on staff there answered our questions or got us anything we needed to make the day special

I had my wedding at Tanganyika Wildlife Park and it turned out absolutely perfect! My entire family thought the venue was both beautiful and fun!! Melissa was extremely helpful in every aspect of piecing together my perfect wedding! I would recommend Tanganyika to anyone that wants their ideal wedding, classy but with fun added to it!

Tanganyika is such a beautiful place. The staff was very wonderful and accomadating, especially Melissa. The room that I had my reception was very spacious and clean. I'm glad I chose to have my wedding reception here.

Melissa and Matt were wonderful to work with. They made the day of a breeze. They helped with pictures, helped with time management, got me water before the ceremony...and even made sure I ate at the reception. They truly were like your very own personal coordinator the day of. I never had one issue with them. Melissa was always right there asking if I needed anything. Not to mention this is a BEAUTIFUL place to spend your big day. I can't say enough good things about this place and the people that work there.

Tanganyika was the perfect pick for our wedding reception! Everything was amazing! Melissa was fantastic and so easy to work with!! Wonderful facilities and very well priced when compared to other venues in the area. I couldn't recommend them highly enough!!

We had an animal ambassador and when the little kids couldn't pet the baby lynx they brought out the penguins just for the little ones to get to see & touch. I didn't even know anything about it until it was over!! What a great way to make all of our guests feel included & make sure they had a good time!

I cannot even find the words to say how amazing Melissa and the Tanganyika crew are. I was searching for a wedding venue while my now husband was over seas. He didn't like the idea of having a wedding at a "zoo" until he met Melissa and saw what an amazingly beautiful place this is. Melissa was such a great person to work with and helped make our day so wonderful! Always there to make sure we were doing ok, made sure I had water while taking pictures, getting sunscreen for us, and making sure we got all that we wanted! We will be going back every chance we get! Great job!!!

WOW! Is all I have to say about Tanganyika!This place is above and beyond amazing! The level of service that the event coordinator gave us is was so amazing! We can not believe how hard she works! She treated us like we were the only wedding she had all summer! And FYI they were booked every weekend till Oct!!! Our wedding day was so amazing, we are more than happy that we picked them!!! We had our wedding reception at Tanganyika and were extremely pleased with the venue. Both Melissa and Matt staffed our event and catered to every request we made during our initial meeting. We had a fairly large reception with nearly 350 people, and the venue easily handled that number. Melissa handled all of my questions and answered my emails promptly with great professionalism and courtesy. To Matt's credit, while severe weather was in the area, he kept my husband updated every 30 minutes with radar updates. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with Tanganyika and fully recommend you use them for your reception. It is a fun and unique location and is especially great for receptions with little kids. The staff is professional, thoughtful and friendly. Many thanks to Matt and Melissa!

LOVED every moment here. My reception was beautiful, and the service that I received from the Melissa and the team here was above and beyond what I expected to get. Melissa even stayed to help my mom clean up a bit and wrap my cake up for me. They are amazing. Tanganyika Wildlife Park is the perfect place to have your wedding and/or your reception. The atmosphere is not only beautiful, but the people that help coordinate are wonderful! They go above and beyond making your day very special and perfect! Your questions or changes are taken care immediately, they don't make you feel as though you're just another bride. On our wedding day, we didn't have to worry about anything because the staff at Tanganyika took care of the details for us. Melissa in particular made sure things were running smoothly behind the scenes. She worked hard so we didn't have to. It has been nine months since our wedding and people are still talking about it. This is a great venue if you want a beautiful backdrop for your wedding pictures. It almost looks like a destination wedding! They have open catering so you can bring in any vendors, but they also have a great list that they recommend as well. The staff was accessible, and so easy to work with. The policies and pricing are clearly stated and I'd also say the pricing is very reasonable. They even have group pricing if your guests want to tour the park to see all of the animals. Would highly recommend this location for ceremony and reception site.

Tanganyika Wildlife Park was an awesome place to have my daughter’s wedding. Everyone there was great to work with and very accommodating. The events coordinator, Melissa, went over and above to make everything flow perfectly from the wedding to the reception and dance. The sunset pictures our photographer took on the grounds were just beautiful! It was an amazing experience for us and our guests and I would definitely recommend Tanganyika. They made my daughter’s wedding day unforgettable!

The venue was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The person that booked the event stayed for the entire event, so nothing would go wrong. My guests loved it and so did I. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The day was as close to perfect as humanly possible, absolutely gorgeous :) Only complaints were the extremely rude linens lady, and the staff coming to the bride and groom with problems on the wedding day... should have went through one of our moms!

Wow, were do I begin describing Holly, the event coordinator, she is wonderful! We weren't sure that we were going to get a rehearsal the day before the wedding due to other events going on at the park, however, she worked us into the schedule and we were able to have a full run through, animal and all. She checked in on me and my bridal party as we were getting ready. She had water for me waiting after the ceremony and before. She was also with me, the bride, while taking pictures. She held my bouquet and the umbrella because it sprinkled a little bit. I don't think the day would have gone as smoothly as it did without her. My guests also loved being able to go through the park and they also loved the animal that came in during the reception. I cannot say enough about Holly and the staff at Tanganyika! Thank you so much for the wonderful day!

Melissa was such a help to our wedding. When our numbers got a bit higher than expected, she took the time to accommodate us the best she could. I really appreciated all of her help throughout the day/night, as well. She stayed the whole time and ensured that things were running smoothly on their end and if I needed anything. My wife and I looked at several locations to have our wedding and reception. Places that both would be at the same venue and places where the ceremony and reception were split up. The moment we walked into Tanganyika, we both knew that was the place. The facilities are perfect. We were wanting to have an outside wedding, but with our date being in April, we were nervous to say the least. TWP made us feel so comfortable with the decision and said that if the weather was bad, we could make a few minor adjustments and have our ceremony inside where the reception was.

We decided to have both the ceremony and reception at TWP to cut down on time and travel. I would HIGHLY encourage this! Their large room can accommodate up to 350 people (which can get a little tight with tables and chairs). We ended up having a total of 40 tables with 8 chairs per table (to accommodate 320 people), a sweetheart table, 3 tables for cupcakes, punch, mints, nuts, etc., a DJ and a photobooth all set up in the large banquet room with plenty of room to walk around and not feel cramped. On top of that, we had a guestbook/gift table and 2 table bufffet line in the foyer. So trust me, unless you're inviting the whole town, you will have plenty of room.

Melissa at TWP is more valuable than gold in my book!! She was wonderful and easy to work with. Any questions you have she can quickly answer. On top of that, she is there during your wedding and is eager to help make the day as least stressful as possible. We hired her and her staff to help put on table linens and they did an outstanding job!

I could sit here and write a novel on why Tanganyika should be your number one choice for a wedding venue. Just know that it was WELL worth the money and you will have the time of your life.

A girl's wedding is one of the most important days of her life and finding the right venue can turn wedding planning into a nightmare. Luckily, right when I was at the end of my rope, my husband and I found Tanganyika. Our wedding, on June 1st, 2012 was perfect, in large part due to the staff at Tanganyika. The venue itself is a touch on the pricey side for a cheapskate like me but with everything you get with that price it is more than worth it.

First off Melissa, the Event Coordinator, was a dream! Out of everyone I dealt with among my wedding vendors she was the most gracious and accommodating. I could email her at any time and she would reply within a day if not within an hour. She worked with us on paying for the venue and I felt like she truly wanted my wedding to be perfect. The day of the wedding Melissa was there every step of the way and made sure everything was going smoothly when I was busy enjoying my reception. :)

On top of Melissa being wonderful every other employee I came into contact with was exceptionally friendly. I look forward to coming back to visit and enjoy the park again.

Second only to the service was the location itself. They have a very nice and large parking lot for all your guests and a BEAUTIFUL outdoor garden. They also have three indoor locations to choose from and all of their rooms are very well kept and attractive. Their grounds are attractive and well kept, creating a classy and expensive looking area to have a wedding.

Overall I had an excellent experience with Tanganyika and I would highly recommend it to any bride in the Wichita area who is looking for a classy, fun and beautiful place to hold their wedding and reception!

This venue is wonderful and Melissa is absolutely the sweetest person to work with. Having had two other children's weddings at other venues it gave me a little to compare to. The space is very comfortable and gives a really relaxed yet still classy feel. The animal ambassador really was a hit for not only the kids but all the adults too. The only reason for the 4 1/2 stars on the last two categories is that we were just a little disappointed at only having one hour to decorate and also that their isn't a lot u can do about it unless u rent the building for the whole day. That being said, it still worked out well with Melissa's help and I would totally use this facility again for any event and will highly recommend it to others.

Holly did a tremendous job before, during, and after the reception we held at Tanganyika. The room was beautiful, the day was perfect, and the scenery and photo ops with the animals made our day and wedding photos unique. The cost was surprisingly affordable--it is actually less expensive to use Tanganyika and have access to the beautiful surroundings, than to be stuck in a stuffy hotel ballroom with overpriced catered food. Tanganyika allows their guests to use any caterer (we spent about $800 for about 100 guests) as well as bring in your own alcohol. These two, in itself, saved my wife and I hundreds of dollars. I highly recommend this venue.

Tanganyka, and Holly Page in particular, provided exceptional services. Holly provided many helpful suggestions and promptly answered all of our questions. She was knowledgeable of other vendors and their services and reputations. By the time our wedding celebration was finished, I felt like she was part of the family. The place is beautiful and staff professional and very friendly. This vendor went out her way to make sure our day was a success. We couldn't take pictures outdoor on the day of the wedding because it was raining all day. Holly allowed us to pick a different day for our pictures and came to work only for us that day.

Holly was awesome. It is sometimes hard to find times to come in and rehearse or finish the plans because of how busy they get but they are very understanding and patient.Holly was such an amazing help during set up,planning,pictures,rehearsal and even clean up she was the best thing anyone could need.she knew exactly what to do and she did it with a smile. Tanganyika was the perfect venue for our wedding! The experience for both you and your guests is unique and something that you can cherish forever. The staff are more than willing to work with you through any questions or crazy recommendations that you might have. All of the animal interactions that you can do as a visitor are available for wedding pictures. They make sure to have park staff with you and your wedding party to make sure that you get to the front of the line and that you don't get stopped to often by other park guests while taking pictures. They have multiple rooms that you can use depending on the size of your wedding. They also have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space that is surrounded by beautiful flowers. If you are looking for a place that offers a unique experience with some of the coolest backdrops for amazing wedding pictures definitely check Tanganyika out.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience of having my reception at tanganyika! The only issue I had was when we brought in the centerpieces a few weeks before the wedding, a comment was made regarding the size and how small they were. It made me feel uncomfortable and was slightly offended, but other than that it was a good experience.

Beautiful outdoor ceremony space. Great pictures and experiences with the animals. Less flexible about rehearsal time and bringing decorations in early than church or more traditional wedding space.

They have been under construction and I had my wedding on their opening day. I was worried they would be distracted and frazzled but Kim Barker(the coordinator) was amazing. The ceremony site was beautiful and the reception room looks out over the park and has plenty of room for a dance, buffet and 150 people. It's unique and beautiful. They make you feel very special on your wedding day.

A beautiful place that was different and fun. The events coordinator was good to work with and made sure everything went smoothly. Only thing I would change is a room for the guys to get ready in besides the men's bathroom. We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Goregeous place!

This was a wonderful venue. The price is high, but the space is larger with lots of natural light. Melissa was very helpful and responsive. They do have quite a rules on what you and your guests can and can't do.

We were very pleased with how our wedding turned out at Tanganyika. The coordinator was more than willing to help us in any way possible.

We really enjoyed working with the coordinator. The room was wonderful. We had terrible weather and did not get to use a lot of what our package offered and half our guest did not show. We were offered a partial refund but I still feel we should have experienced more. Would not trade it though!

Amazing for planning a wedding in month... Melissa worked super hard and did an amazing job for my wedding. It's was a great evening . There was plenty of photo places to take pics and the facilities were clean and set for us to get started..I would definitely recommend this place for any wedding! ;) thanks so much to Melissa and her crew !

My husband and I were very pleased throughout the whole process. We were engaged for a year and a half so the planning process lengthy--- and the responsiveness was a lot less towards the end and only through e-mails which was a little frustrating. All in all, working with Courtney as our event coordinator was amazing and she took care of everything! If you are willing to spend the $$$ it is well worth it. ( There are 4 tiers-we chose the 3rd) Our photographer was even impressed! I would definitely recommend Tanganyika to other bride-to-be's, and who doesn't want a penguin to walk down the aisle at their wedding? (:

I was pleased with the way the ceremony looked. There are some things I would recommend changing. Not so much loose rock on the walkway and there is a stone under the pergula that is really loose. It made us nervous having my grandparents walk up there and taking pictures scared someone would fall. The reception looked great though! Our event coordinator, Taylor, was very rude. We were pleased the first time we met her but then her attitude kept getting worse and she kept talking about how many hours she was working and stressed. I don't know if it would make it easier hiring someone else but that definitely killed my experience with you guys. There were comments she would make to myself and my family which we all felt were not appropriate and I am still in shock with how rude she was. My family still talks about it. Not trying to rat her out or anything , just suggesting that maybe she needs help to where she isn't like this for future events.
