We hired Tanarak Photography for our engagement photos and wedding photos. Tanarak was amazing - he provides candid shots that capture authentic emotions.
In our engagement photos, Tanarak was great at both staged and candid shots. We had two locations in San Francisco - the Palace of Fine Arts and Lover's Lane. We had two outfits. Tanarak was patient and spent more than the allotted time and captured beautiful shots.
We had a Fall wedding and it was everything we hoped for. Tanarak was on time and took so many photos throughout the day. He took photos while we were getting ready and captured our first looks. Then he took wedding party photos. For family photos, Tanarak was efficient and allowed us to enjoy cocktail hours.
Tanarak provided our photographs within a few weeks of the wedding. Furthermore, the photos are beautiful. He captured our emotions, and his pictures have allowed us to relive the best days of our lives. We definitely would recommend Tanarak as a photographer. -

Working with Tanarak was incredibly stress-free. Communication was timely and clear. He was attentive and took into consideration what we prioritized most on our wedding day, and it showed in his work. Our friends and family raved about the photo gallery from Tanarak — he was completely unobtrusive throughout the wedding yet somehow truly captured every special moment of our wedding day.
The quality of his work is phenomenal and we were happily surprised with how many candid moments he caught! Beyond that, he’s a genuinely great person to work with — we could not have asked for a better experience. -

Searching for a wedding photographer is probably one of the most daunting tasks in a huge list of things to prep before the wedding. Tanarak was extremely helpful and patient during our search and interviews with different photographers around the area and we are so happy to have trusted him with our everlasting memories!
During our engagement shoot, Tanarak graciously gave us tips and helped hold our belongings even as he leaped and climbed over treacherous terrain to get the perfect shot. He even let us go a little overtime to get the right lighting from the sun. We were nervous about being photographed but were quickly put at ease and had a lot of fun with Tanarak's easygoing nature. However if you're expecting a lot of posing tips, he may not be the photographer for you. He gives minimal instructions, but on the plus side you will get a lot of beautiful candid moment type shots, which luckily was the style we wanted.
On the wedding day, Tanarak was professional and calm despite the less than ideal lighting (we had a noon ceremony with harsh sunlight and later afternoon completely overcast), not to mention multiple locations for him to run between in the morning. If you're looking for a journalistic style and quick eye/reaction time to catch candid moments of raw emotions, look no further. Tanarak is a pro! -

Tanarak took our photos for our COVID wedding and we couldn't be more pleased. He was very professional, safe, and took shots that I didn't even think of. I highly recommend him if you live in the Bay Area! -

Love love love Tanarak Photography!
We used Tanarak Photography for our wedding recently and he was absolutely amazing! He captured all our special moments, both candid and posed, and we were really happy with how our photos turned out. Tanarak is super professional and the booking process was very smooth. Tanarak and his team were extremely easy to work with. We sat down with Tanarak twice before our Big day to discuss the vibe we were going for in our photos and video. On the day of our wedding the team moved around the venue and the crowd seamlessly and discreetly. The end result was hundreds of candid, spirited shots that really captured the mood and the unfolding of the day: from quiet, intimate moments, moments of nervousness, sheer joy and elation, to the pulse and beat of the party. I remember at one point, Tanarak slipped effortlessly into the center of our dance circle, and moved around acrobatically while snapping away- he literally got into the heart of the party! He is such a natural at storyteller - moving and weaving between the crowd in almost an invisible fashion, while capturing the essence.
Our wedding video turned out great and I would definitely recommend having one made! All in all, we were extremely happy and grateful to Tanarak for helping us to relive the day again and again. We would highly recommend him to our close friends and family. -
