Al was wonderful to work with from start to finish! My now husband and I met him for the first time over Zoom and we instantly clicked. He walked us through the whole process and answered all of our questions. We felt comfortable having him take charge and help with the most important part of our day. He led rehearsal well and we even had to make a last minute change due to weather the day of and he was already prepared for it! We could not recommend him more!

Al was the perfect pick for our wedding day! His "create your own ceremony" helped take away some of the anxiety around making sure we picked the right words and in the right order. We did a custom unity ceremony, branding cowhide, and I was able to tell him what we would like to be said during that piece and he fit it in perfectly. He attended our rehearsal and help the whole wedding party know exactly what to do and made it fun!

Al was absolutely wonderful to work with! He helped us all the way through the process... from helping us design an inter-faith ceremony, running and organizing the rehearsal, and making us feel at ease during the ceremony. From the first time we reached out to him he was professional, responded promptly, was flexible, communicated well, and just made a stressful event a little bit less overwhelming. I cannot say enough positive things about Al Paulauski! Finding the right officiant was so important to my now husband and I. We come from Christian and Catholic backgrounds and wanted to find someone who was inclusive of both families. We interviewed several officiants, but I knew from our first few minutes talking to Al that he was the one! Al allows you to “create a ceremony” on his website and chose the specific verbiage for each element of the ceremony. We were able to add extra elements like reading our own vows, incorporating family involvement, and a unity candle ceremony. Al is professional, communicative, and timely. We got countless complements on our officiant! We loved working with Al and highly recommend him!

Al is truly the best officiant I have ever encountered. My husband and I had our wedding 11.9.24 and a few weeks beforehand we were notified by our previous officiant that they could no longer come due to a severe injury. We came across Al’s website and all of his wonderful reviews and put our trust in him and we are so glad that we did. He was so professional and well-spoken and delivered such a beautiful ceremony. Al was amazing and very personable through the entire wedding planning process. From the first call to wedding day! He even took care of rehearsal and made sure no one had a question! He made us feel completely with how the ceremony went and I loved how he allowed us to create our very own ceremony and our ideas! Not a lot of officiants will do that! Al was a fantastic officiant. He took into account our specific requests and changes, and delivered an absolutely perfect ceremony. We were able to work through the "script" with him over coffee, and he sent revised copies of it as we requested changes and made it our own. We received many compliments on the ceremony, which meant so much to us and speaks to the way Al delivered it. I also need to mention that our rehearsal would have been a nightmare without him: we didn't realize all of the logistics that went into the ceremony, but that was OK because Al was there to make sure we knew the correct order and customs. By the end of the rehearsal, we were very confident about the next day. We couldn't recommend Al more!

Our guests were really impressed by his ability to project and enunciate loud enough for those in the back to hear, even despite microphone issues. Pastor Al made our wedding amazing! From the first meeting to customizing our ceremony exactly how we wanted it, he was great to work with! He was professional and personal at the same time and really cared about our wants and needs for our ceremony. During our outdoor ceremony it started to pour down rain... Pastor Al rocked it and moved all the guests under the gazebo with us. He did all this without missing a beat and the ceremony continued. Having Al officiate our wedding was one of the best choices that we made! From the initial meeting all the way through the rehearsal and day of he was fantastic! Working with Al was completely effortless and put us at ease on our big day. From the first meeting, we immediately felt comfortable with Al and his warm nature. I loved the interactive "create your ceremony " process that allowed us to tailor our ceremony to our own style. We also ended up doing a love letter box ceremony which we had never heard of before but our guests haven't stopped raving about how unique and thoughtful it was. A few have already told us they plan on doing it themselves on their next anniversary. Al is AMAZING! I can’t recommend him enough! Not only does he take time to sit with you and figure out your wants and needs, but he handles everything so that you don’t have to worry about forgetting things on the day of your wedding! The Build Your Own Ceremony tool was great and allowed us to customize our ceremony to be just the way we wanted it without having to do a lot of excess work. When I first started searching for an officiant it was difficult, you think in your mind how am I going to connect with someone minimally and have them marry me? It's a weird thought if you're not getting married in a church. We found Al's information on the knot and thought to just give it a try. At our first meeting I cried in a Panera Bread and knew he was who we wanted to Officiate our wedding. He made us feel at ease and like we were in good hands. His 'Create a Ceremony' site was extremely easy to use. We met with Al a total of 4 times, including rehearsal and ceremony and I would have him marry me again! Great! Couldn’t imagine another officiant for our wedding
Al was very professional! When we first met up with him, he told us he lived in Canton. My now husband and I live in Royal Oak and we met us in Southfield. This meant a lot as it showed how much he cared to just sit down and meet with us even before we chose him! He ran through everything he did and gave us a good price for his services. He was patient with us and answered all our questions. When I needed to text him about any questions or concerns I had he always got back to me in a timely manner. When it came to the rehearsal he was very professional and we really appreciated how patient he was with our bridal party (we had pretty rowdy groomsmen haha). When it came to our actual ceremony he did a great job. When Drew and I would get nervous or maybe forget something he would politely cue us. He made us feel very comfortable on our big day! Al takes the stress out of the ceremony!
When we were planning our wedding, one of the last things we were even considering was our officiant. With all of the other "important" things there are to lock in, this is an easy part to overlook. In Al, we found that this is a detail that should NOT be undermined.
From first meeting, Al was nothing short of amazing with his friendly, outgoing personality leading the way. We could see his strong attention to details and his organization is second to none. Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, Al was in contact with us, gathering all of the details that would help him help us make our day go as smoothly as possible. We were given many options for stages of the ceremony, and we knew exactly what we would be said as our wedding went along.
Al was prompt and the utmost professional in all that he did for us. He commanded our rehearsal just as he had given us the confidence that he would, and beyond. Everyone in our party knew their role, and it showed the next afternoon thanks to Al. We would choose Al over and over again to re-live the day!

Al Paulauski is an outstanding officiant.
Great personality, very engaging, very approachable with questions of all sorts, exceptional time-management. He helped make our wedding an amazing and memorable day.
Great chemistry between officiant and soon-to-be-married couple is key. Fortunately, Al is FUN, very perceptive, understanding, patient, insightful and lets you dictate the level and pace of his involvement.
The wealth of his officiant experience and knowledge of weddings helped us tremendously! Al knows his stuff big time.
Plus, he was awesome at our wedding rehearsal! Rehearsal is tough in terms of getting everyone on the same page and getting things to run smoothly and on-time. He really helped us feel prepared for the Big Day.

Al was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. We are an out of state couple but had our wedding in Michigan. He worked with us through email and skype to discuss the ceremony. I initially chose Al because his ceremony worksheet on his website is so thorough and after talking with him, I realized he really is that organized!
The rehearsal went smoothly, he led everyone through all the parts including where to stand and how to walk. He is a great officiant and also a great ceremony coordinator. Our wedding day was perfect! The ceremony went without a hitch and everyone commented on how beautiful our ceremony was. I would highly recommend!

Need a Minister? Look no further!
A couple weeks before our wedding, our minister unexpectedly had to back out due to a family emergency. We called and emailed every minister in our area without any luck. A friend had recommended Al, and I am glad he did. Al saved our wedding! He was friendly, organized, and answered emails quickly. We were able to choose the verbage and prayers for our wedding and he was flexible with adding some family traditions. A few days before our rehearsal, he provided us with a detailed outline of our wedding ceremony, which was So helpful during our rehearsal and wedding day. We highly recommend Al and hope that you choose him too!

We had the pleasure of having Al officiate our wedding ceremony, and he exceeded our expectations! He went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and was exactly what we wanted. Al enabled my husband and I to create a ceremony that was perfect for us! He typed out our entire ceremony and had us check it to make sure it was what we wanted. Al is also very kind and efficient. He mailed in our marriage license for us after the wedding so we could leave for our honeymoon with no worries! I highly recommend him!

I can't say enough good things about Al. He was so great right from the start and I am so glad we were able to have him officiate our wedding. He was always very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had. We met with him twice before the ceremony so that we could get to know him and he could get to know us better. We loved his website and all of the wording options that he provided - it allowed us to completely customize our ceremony without the stress of having to write everything on our own. He ran our rehearsal the night before the wedding, and the ceremony itself was flawless. Al was fun, kind, respectful and really made us feel special on our special day. We received a number of compliments about Al after the ceremony, many people saying that it was the most beautiful ceremony that they have had the pleasure of witnessing. AL IS THE BEST!!!!! Having him as a part of our day was one of the best decisions we made. After the rehearsal, our bridal party kept commenting on how awesome he is and asking where we found him. He ran the rehearsal with organized, clear, and concise directions, which was SUPER helpful to all of us who have never been a part of a wedding!!!
He was just such a pleasure to work with. I am soooo happy we had Al as a part of our big day. A guest at the wedding even told us it was the most beautiful ceremony she's ever seen, and we have Al to thank for that. Without Al's "Create a Ceremony" questionnaire, we wouldn't know where to start. He made this SO easy on us.
I will be recommending Al to everyone because he truly made our day so special! He was excellent in working with our live musician and the venue team. He is on time, professional, and flexible. It was really important to me to have someone flexible because we had a tree planting and 2 guest speakers, and Al was very supportive in all of our requests. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant. Al was so helpful, very easy to work with. Our ceremony was in Michigan, but we were living in Chicago. He was very flexible and we were able to easily communicate over email, text, and facetime. Our ceremony was exactly how we had pictured, he tailored it to our exact needs. The fact that you can see the ceremony wording ahead of time is very reassuring! We even did a handfasting ceremony, and he offered great suggestions. I would highly recommend!!

My husband and I knew we wanted to a simple ceremony personal to us, but the task of creating a custom ceremony from scratch seemed so daunting. Luckily, we met Al who made the whole process so easy for us. He was always so understanding and thorough throughout the wedding planning process. He helped us to create our perfect ceremony. So many family members came up to us on our big day saying how sweet and perfect the ceremony was for us. We could not have chosen a better officiant to marry us. Al is so organized and has a lot of experience. He met with us a couple of times prior to the big day and also kept in constant contact with me any time I had a question. He allows you to personalize your ceremony to your own preferences and personalities. He is open to so many ideas which makes planning a breeze with him. He has such a calm demeanor which made me and my husband feel at ease. He knows how to truly make your ceremony run flawlessly and accommodates you to complete a rehearsal as well. He also mailed our marriage license in so we did not have to worry about it since we were leaving on our honeymoon right after the wedding! If you want your ceremony to be amazing, Al is your guy!

From start to finish, Al was great to work with. We met with him about 11 months before our wedding and immediately hired him. Al goes above and beyond! In addition to being a pleasure to be around, he's extremely detail oriented and communicative about everything from start to finish. There are several emails exchanged, 2 in person meetings, and countless texts with Al so that he can ensure your big day is perfect! He was extremely flexible when it came to our rehearsal dinner. My venue would only give us 7 days notice of a date at first and Al didn't even bat an eye! He continued to ensure my husband and I that everything would be flawless and it was!

We looked far and wide to find an officiant who was somewhere in the middle of being religious enough to accommodate our families while also being able to stay true to ourselves, and Al was perfect. After our first meeting with him, we could tell he was perfect for us. He worked with us to ensure everything was perfect for us. His website utilizes a "Create a Ceremony" feature which was amazing! My husband and I appreciated having options to choose from instead of having to find all the information ourselves.
Al did our rehearsal the day before, and we were able to ensure all the little details were perfect for the wedding day. Having the ability for both sets of parents to meet him before the ceremony put both of them at ease. The day of, Al officiated wonderfully (I had no doubt he would!). I got many compliments from my friends and family who were there - including an uncle of mine who used to be a pastor and performed weddings himself! Al is a wonderful person and officiant and I am so thankful we hired him.

Al is amazing! He ensured that our wedding day was perfect! He responded to every text and email promptly and made my stress disappear. Our family and friends could not stop complimenting his services and stated "He was the best I have ever seen." We were able to customize our vows and include mentioning passed loved ones. Al did an amazing job with our wedding ceremony! We live out of state and he was so willing to work with our schedules to meet with us when we were back in state. He even FaceTimed with us as our first meeting so we could ask questions and get a better idea of what he offered instead of trying to go back and forth in a bunch of emails. Thoughtout the process he was very easy to get in touch with either via email or text/call. He allowed us to customize our ceremony to fit our vision. He was very flexible when we kept changing days and times for our rehearsal! We had so many compliments on our ceremony and how well he spoke. Most people thought we had known him for while. I would definitely recommend Al to my friends and family!

Al was absolutely wonderful to work with! He made the process very easy and comfortable. We did not know what type of ceremony we wanted to have and Al helped us through the Create a Ceremony template and discussed all the options with us. He is very professional but friendly and approachable as well. When our venue messed up our rehearsal time, Al was very accommodating and reassuring even though he had another rehearsal across the state that day. He did everything in his power to make sure he was available for us including changing meeting times multiple times when things changed in our busy schedule. The coordinator at our venue actually asked if we personally knew Al before this and when I said no I found him online, they were shocked. They said Al was the best officiant they have seen that was found online. My husband and I were so happy with Al and we would recommend him to anyone in the future!!

It was truly a pleasure to have pastor Al. I cannot imagine anyone could have done a better job. He was so professional, very prepared, and guided us through with a genuine warmness and caring touch of a man of God.
We came from out of state to get married in Michigan and Pastor Al made what could of been a very anxious experience flawlesss. Pastor Al is the best!
We thank Pastor Al with all our hearts for making our ceremony so special and uniting us with his genuine love as a man of Christ.

Al was more than we could've ever imagined. Both of our families gave us endless compliments on his service. He created a beautiful ceremony and made us feel so comfortable on our big day. Our rehearsal went seamlessly and all of our questions were answered before we knew to ask them. Choosing Al as our officiant was truly a blessing. Thank you Al, you're the best!

Al was the perfect officiant for our September wedding. He was readily available through email or text message. We met in person a few times, Initially to get to know each other and again to review and establish the details for the ceremony. With a stressful time of planning a wedding and moving to other side of the country prior to the wedding, Al was very helpful and prompt to responding to my emails. He was professional and he put together a special ceremony and hit all the details we were looking for. Even the dress rehearsal ran smoothly and was well organized. Thank you Al for such an amazing ceremony. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a professional, energetic, peronsable officiant for there special day.

Al was great! My husband and I live in Chicago, so Al was very flexible with our schedules. We initially "met" him via Skype, and after that he was very responsive via text & email. His "Create a Ceremony" site made planning our ceremony very easy, which was appreciated. We finally met him in person a few weeks before the wedding to finalize our details, and the ceremony turned out wonderful. Multiple guests complimented us on how beautiful the vows were.

Al was just awesome! Always answered quickly and was flexible and picking a meeting time and place, made it about half way. Made a wonderful layout of the ceremony that we were able to review and we didn't need to memorize anything. So happy we chose Al to marry us!

Not only did he meet with us multiple times to ensure our wedding was everything we wanted, but he texted us throughout the process to make sure our planning was going well and asked if we needed anything. He allows you to create your perfect ceremony online and makes it custom to everything you could possibly want. He ran our rehearsal for us and he was so organized. Al made our ceremony so special and genuine. We had so many guests tell us what a wonderful job he did. After the wedding was over he sent our marriage license in for us so that we wouldn't have to worry about it before our honeymoon! We couldn't have asked for anything more and we are so happy we chose Al to be our officiant! He truly goes above and beyond for his couples!

Going into our first meeting with Al, we had no idea what to expect. Our first impression was that he was very easy going and laid back. He was also really flexible with meeting times throughout our planning process. When we told him we really had no clue where to start with planning our ceremony, he jumped right in and started guiding us in the right direction. His website's create-your-ceremony feature was AWESOME! It helped us visualize what our ceremony could look and sound like and gave us some different wording ideas to choose from. Al listened to everything that we wanted, shared his thoughts and ideas as well, and he ultimately put together a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony. He walked us through everything at the rehearsal so there was no confusion on the day of. Both of us felt comfortable and confident on our wedding day and our ceremony was absolutely perfect! We will be recommending Al to other couples for sure!

Working with Al was an amazing experience. The whole process from initial contact, to planning and all the way through the ceremony was perfect. We first contacted Al about 4 months before our wedding and met with him shortly after. He took the time to get to know us and understand what we were looking to do for our wedding so that it was truly unique for us. We knew right away that we wanted him to officiate our wedding. He made the process very easy and was open to helping us with some of our ideas for customizing our ceremony. We met with him again closer to the wedding to talk through details, all of our questions and areas where we were having trouble making decisions. Fast forward to the rehearsal. The whole process was a breeze and he made everyone feel comfortable with their roles. The ceremony itself was perfect. We even had a last minute location change onsite due to weather and Al jumped right in to help the situation which really meant a lot to us. Al really takes the time to make sure the couple's day is special. He has a vibrant personality that really comes through when he is speaking which makes for a very lively ceremony. We recommend you reach out to Al if you are looking for someone to officiate your wedding and make it a memorable experience!

We had an amazing time working with Al! We met with him initially over coffee to just introduce ourselves and discuss wedding plans. My husband and I instantly felt comfortable and at ease with Al. Soon after we decided to book him for our wedding. He really did take all of our requests and make them part of our special day! The best part was Al let us add personal touches to our ceremony to make it unique.
Our special day was everything we wanted and our ceremony was perfect with the help of Al officiating it! If you choose him for your wedding, you will be MORE than satisfied!

We could not have asked for more having Al as our officiant. He is incredibly professional, kind, and so helpful with the entire ceremony. He was completely focused on honoring who we were as a couple, being flexible with language and ceremony structure. Al was the absolute BEST officiant. I had the pleasure of growing up with his family and he was my youth pastor all through high school. So, when I got engaged, he was the one I wanted to officiate our wedding. Al met with my fiancé and I several times leading up to the wedding. He's very thorough with asking questions to make sure that we were happy with the services he provided. I highly recommend Al, you will not regret making this decision! Even our wedding coordinator at our wedding hall was completely impressed by how organized he was. He will be worth every penny.

One word to describe Al, AMAZING! We could not have asked for a better experience working with an officiant. Every step of the way, he was there to help and answer questions and was extremely attentive. The months leading up to our wedding day were made a little easier with having Al working with us. The "Create a Ceremony" was one of our favorite parts of working with Al. Having the option to change and tweak every part of the ceremony made it completely ours, that was something that meant a lot to us. We could not have been happier with our choice in picking Al. Reverend Al officiated our wedding on October 21, 2016. We can't say enough about how professional, sincere and down to earth he was. I would highly recommend Al to any couple who wants to feel at ease and comfortable as you plan your big day. He has an ability to make you feel as if you've known him forever after just the first meeting and his correspondence is always prompt. I went in to our ceremony calm and collected because I really trusted his ability and his grasp on who we are as a couple, our ceremony was perfect thanks to reverend Al and his professionalism.

I would definitely recommend Moment of a Lifetime! I'm so glad I found Al on Wedding Wire. Our wedding ceremony was perfect. We met with Al several times before the wedding and went through every detail of the ceremony. He gave us great ideas and we knew exactly what he was going to say. The ceremony script, which we were able to easily customize on his webpage, was finalized weeks before our rehearsal, which he coordinated. There were no surprises and the ceremony was the perfect amount of time, less than 30 minutes. Al was so easy to work with and very professional. We were beyond happy with his services!

Working with Al was so stress free. From the first moment I contacted him to the final details the day of, I did not have to worry about anything. One of the best parts about Al's service was creating the ceremony. It allowed us to create our own ceremony exactly the way we wanted it, without any pressure to add or not add in religion. Al was awesome at running the rehearsal and working with the venue and bridal party to ensure everything went smooth the day of, something I had not even considered until Al brought it up. He even mailed our license for us that way we could leave for the honeymoon without any worries. I would highly recommend working with Al for all your officiant needs.

Al's work is wonderful and he helped to make our wedding day perfect. My wedding ceremony ended up getting rained out so we had to move it last minute into a room that we had not practiced in. He made sure that all 16 of my bridesmaids and groomsmen know where to be before we started and none of the guests even know that it wasn't the plan from the beginning. He also makes it really easy to customize your ceremony to whatever you like. He has a template to help out but you could really add or remove anything you wanted to make it your own.
