Her and Mari were the best! They made everything seamless and went above and beyond to make sure I felt beautiful. I added a spray tan from her and it was the best decision! I felt absolutely glamorous and all the pictures came out stunning. -

Tamara Sabaté is absolutely incredible! She did my wedding hair and makeup, and I could not have been happier with the results. From the very beginning, she was professional, responsive, and truly listened to the look I was going for. On the wedding day, she made me feel calm, confident, and so beautiful.
My makeup looked flawless in person and in photos, and my hair stayed perfect all day and night — even through all the dancing and Costa Rica humidity! I truly felt like I had just walked off the red carpet. Tamara’s attention to detail and talent really shine through in her work.
She went the extra mile by helping me into my dress and shoes and even doing touch-ups for the girls in my wedding party. That level of care meant so much and made the whole morning feel smooth and stress-free.

Not sure I could have made it my wedding day without Tamara and her assistant. The makeup was incredible and lasted all night in the heat/humidity. Ive never felt prettier!
Tamara and her team are incredible. They showed up on time, prepared and helped me get ready from start to finish. They made me feel comfortable and coached me throughout the day. My makeup turned out beautiful. I did a makeup trial the day before my wedding and we went step by step to make sure I liked every part of my makeup look. My hair was also incredible! I recommend bringing hair extensions if you want your hair to have alot of volume! 10/10 book them!!!! -

Tamara and her team were exceptional! Truly more than just a MUA team.
The whole process of planning was seamless, the questions, contract, prep, all great.
The day of they arrived early and quickly set up within our space. We had 8 girls. Every single girl raved about how accurate their expectations to reality were. They truly nailed it!
Tamara did my makeup and it was exactly what I wanted. For someone who doesn’t wear makeup she really gave me a natural glam.
What I actually loved most about her was that she helped me put my dress on, shoes, cover my bug bites, veil, the whole thing. She genuinely was there to help me feel perfect.
She even did the flower girls makeup as they came into the room- what a nice surprise!
I wholeheartedly recommend Tammy and her team for makeup and hair! -

Loved these ladies!!!
Our hair and makeup artists were truly phenomenal. These incredible ladies brought so much warmth and calm to the day, and I honestly can’t imagine getting ready without them. They didn’t just make me look and feel amazing, they went above and beyond in every way, reminding me to eat, stay hydrated, breathe, and enjoy the moment.
We did a trial a couple of days before, and they were so thoughtful about adjusting the look afterward so I could wear it out that night without revealing the final wedding look. It was the perfect balance of glam and surprise. On the big day, they were calm, professional, and genuinely uplifting — and even sent me off with a little touch-up kit, which was so appreciated. Absolute dream team.

I truly don’t have words big enough to express my deepest gratitude to Tamara, Mari, and Luchi. These women are simply WOW. Absolute professionals—so talented, so kind, so beautiful (inside and out), and such a joy to be around.
I had a big group—13 ladies!—and they handled everything with such grace and warmth. They listened to everyone, made every single bridesmaid and mom feel stunning, and somehow kept the energy light, fun, and full of laughter the entire time. We were dancing, singing, and laughing all morning—what a special way to start the day.
When it was my turn, of course chaos struck: my dress didn’t fit (lost too much weight in the chest the week of), and we were running late. Tamara and the team sprang into action like wedding-day superheroes—helping me get dressed, taping me in, throwing on jewelry, and making sure I didn’t miss a beat. I’ve never had earrings put in so fast in my life!
And then came the rain. It poured during the ceremony, completely soaking my beautiful curls. But these amazing women didn’t miss a step—right after the ceremony, Mari and Tamara grabbed me, retouched my makeup (for like the 10th time because I’m a big crier), redid my hair into a gorgeous updo, and even sewed my dress onto me so I could dance the night away without worry. Oh—and Tamara even chauffeured me to the ceremony herself. Who does that?
These women went so far above and beyond for me, and I will never forget them. They didn’t just do our makeup and hair—they helped create one of the most joyful, memorable, love-filled mornings of my life.
I wish I could give Tamara and her team 300 stars. They are everything. If you’re looking for a team that will show up with heart, skill, humor, and grace—this is the team.

Tamara and her team were absolutely amazing. I had 12 people needing to get ready in one suite, and they were able to get all of us ready at the same time. We all looked great. Tamara and Mari were amazing to work with during my 2/4/25 wedding at Dreams Las Mareas and my trial the day before! They were so personable, kind, easy to talk to, fun … they had a great energy but were also calming. I had myself and 8 bridesmaids and their work was amazing! I wanted a natural glam and to still feel like myself even with more makeup than I’m used to. She nailed it! And my hair and makeup stayed all night in the Costa Rica heat! Tamara is so friendly, playful, and talented.. but one of my favorite things she incorporates is the DETAIL! Before the girls got to our room to start hair and makeup, she was displaying my wedding details beautifully for pictures, and made sure my dress was hung perfectly. She is professional but relatable to where you both are laughing and having fun. I was highly impressed with everyone’s makeup and hair and her organized timeline was seamless. As for as my hair and make up, they both definitely made me feel like a princess. Tamara went as far as helping calm my nerves, zips my dress and put my shoes on for me! When my planner recommended working with Tamara, I had no idea I was about to make the best decision ever. She made our wedding week in Las Catalinas absolutely unforgettable. Tamara's warmth, kindness, and incredible talent made it all come to life in the most beautiful way. I could go on and on!
I was fortunate enough to meet Tamara a week before the big day around town and she instantly made my family, friends and me feel so welcome and taken care of and she became an instant friend.
Tamara is so incredibly gifted at what she does, and her energy made every moment of the wedding day better - and rehearsal dinner (did my trial for this)! She's become like family. She was so patient with the young kids we had around and made everyone feel so at ease during the hair and makeup process. It felt like she was there as one of my long-time friends.

Most talented and best MUA!
For my destination wedding, hair and makeup were my biggest concerns. Thankfully, with my wedding planner's help, I found the perfect team, Tamara and Marie. They completely brought my vision to life. During my makeup trial, Tamara took the time to understand what I wanted, and the result was even better than I'd imagined. She's incredibly talented, with an upbeat and infectious energy that instantly puts you at ease. She's also incredibly prepared and goes above and beyond, acting as a true bridal stylist. She even helped us iron my husband's suit, get me into my dress and veil, and provided a touch-up kit for the reception. Marie is equally amazing. I showed her one picture for my hair, and she flawlessly recreated it with incredible speed and skill. She also worked wonders with my mom and sister, who hadn't planned their hairstyles, helping them choose looks that were both comfortable and stunning. If you're looking for a top-notch hair and makeup team, I can't recommend Tamara and her team highly enough! I already miss them! -

I cannot recommend Tamara highly enough! I had a destination wedding and was so nervous about finding someone who could bring my bridal vision to life with my hair and makeup.. but she absolutely exceeded my expectations in every way.

Having Tamara and Mari at my wedding was the best decision ever! I had my wedding in Tamarindo on December 13th, It was a humid day, we got a bit of rain during the ceremony + I was crying a lot and my makeup and hair was still perfect in all the pictures!!
My skin felt so light and Tamara was able to cover my acne marks, she gave me recommendations and nailed my look. Mari was able to lock my hair with amazing products and my hair was looking perfect even after the rain. Tamara always replies back on time and with all the information that you need, she gives so many and important advices and prepares you with so much professionalism but also makes you feel like a princess and have fun during all the process!!
Tamara and Mari went above and beyond to make my day perfect and fun! Tamara even helped me setting up all the details for the photographer so I could have a beautiful set up for my rings, she put the vail, shoes and all the accessories. They were punctual, kind and sweet, made me feel so confident, calm and were the perfect company!! I cannot heap enough praise on them or recommend them enough for your own wedding celebration. You will not be disappointed. -

Tamara and Mari made me feel and look amazing for my wedding events, and I had a blast getting ready with them.
For my wedding, I let every lady choose her own dress, hair, and makeup. I wanted everyone to be able to showcase their own style and feel amazing. Tamara and Mari did such a great job communicating with the bridal party to adapt the hair and make up inspiration photos to match everyone’s skin tone, preferences, and dresses. They also gave us great advice on durability of styles to withstand the local heat and humidity too. Even my mom who didn’t speak English and was getting her hair & make up done for the first time ever had such a special experience given the ladies made every effort to communicate with her.
Having been in weddings before, I never knew a HMUA team can not only make you look fabulous but also lift you up and make sure the process is a party. These ladies clearly love their brides and what they do and makes every effort to create that happy magical day for you. -

Wonderful experience!

From start to finish, Tamara was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. Prior to the wedding day, she compiled a schedule for everyone’s hair and makeup. Typically I am nervous getting my hair and makeup professionally done because in the past I have never been fully satisfied with the final results. Tamara and her team nailed it! All my bridesmaids are now asking for what products Tamara uses because they want to try and do exactly what she did going forward for their everyday makeup look. Planning my wedding in Costa Rica when I’m from NYC proved to be somewhat of a challenge, but not when it came to makeup and hair. Tamara and her team were amazing! Im very particular about who touches my face and hair, but as soon as I saw pictures and videos of her and her teams work, I knew there was no one else for the job. They were helpful, skillful, precise, and provided the right amount of glam without it being too much. They also all spoke English, which was great for communication purposes as none of my bridesmaids spoke Spanish. Simply the best! Words can’t express how grateful I am to have had Tamara and her team be part of my big day. Not only did my hair and makeup turn out amazing but she went above and beyond to make the morning so special and memorable for us.
She helped me get the dress ready and even did part of my makeup sitting on my bed to make me feel more comfortable - not to mention it made for a cute photo op! She kept the energy up all morning and it really set a great tone for the day.
For the HAMU, everything turned out perfect. I usually don’t wear a ton of makeup and she did the best job at balancing natural but still put together and bridal. From the trial (before my welcome party) to my wedding day, everything was a dream. Tamara’s schedule made the morning stress-free, and she even helped with details shots and getting ready photos. Plus, she went the extra mile, helping with my dress and making the morning extra special. By the end of the day, it felt like we were friends. 💗
The hair and makeup were INCREDIBLE. Despite the hot and humid weather, my hair stayed put, and my makeup lasted all night—even through my sweaty ceremony! I still can’t believe my makeup didn’t show any sign of how much my face sweated during my ceremony. 😅

I've been following Tamara on Instagram for a while, and I lucked out by booking her for my bridal hair and makeup. I also got her to do my mom and mother-in-law's hair and makeup and all my bridesmaids' hair. Tamara and her team are so friendly and welcoming that it felt like I was getting ready with friends. They are so fun to be around with that I laughed my worries away.
Aside from boosting my confidence for the big day, Tamara worked her magic with my makeup, and her team nailed the hairstyles. I absolutely loved how everything turned out for me and my bridal crew. Tamara did my make up on my wedding day, along with my mom and sister’s make up. Her team energy (in my case was Roberth Quiros who did our hair) was amazing. We spent several hours together having fun, singing and laughing which made that moment super special and relaxing. She helped the photographers having all the small details ready, helped me to put on my dress, shoes, accessories, everything and even gave me tips for later that day. I am super grateful for the experience, the make up and hair result for the 3 of us was beyond perfect. I highly recommend booking with her for that special day. -

I wish I could give Tamara and her team 100 stars!! I've never felt more beautiful in my life. Not only did they make me feel my best on my wedding day, but they helped me with tips and tricks for crying, how to stand so I look good, and made sure I drank enough water so I wasn't bloated. They were so fun to work with and truly the absolute best. I wish I could have them as my glam squad everyday!! It's hard to make 10 bridesmaids + the bride feel and look incredible, but they did it and did an absolutely amazing job at it. We had so much fun with them on the wedding day too, I still wish they could have partied with us at the reception :) I cannot recommend this team more. If you hire them, you'll feel like an absolute queeeeen all day!! We love Tamara and her team ❤️❤️ -

Little did I know that I would be getting a make up artist, hair stylist, wedding pro tips, team mate to help prep wedding day details, hype woman, and most importantly: partner in keeping me sane. Tamara and team absolutely crushed it from minute one. She made me feel relaxed, confident and continually supported myself and my family as we navigated the complicated day. My make up was OUTSTANDING! So natural, stayed all night and is still commented on 4+ months later. My hair was exactly what I asked for and even "fell" beautifully after my dancing moves. I could not recommend Tamara and team enough - I shoulda paid double!!! 12/10 recommend! -

Tamara is not just a regular Make up Artist, she gives you the whole experience on your wedding day, making you feel the most beautiful Bride since the moment she walks in to the room.
My experience with her was amazing! I hired her for me and my mom, and I had the most special previous hours to the ceremony on my wedding day laughing with her my Mom and my Bridesmaids and sharing stories while she was working on my make up.

If you’re on the hunt for the perfect team to take care of hair and makeup for your big day, look no further. Tamara and Diana were the absolute dream team from the moment I started talking to them until I walked out of the door for my first look with my husband. Prior to my wedding day, I messaged with Tamara on several occasions on the details of the day and what exactly my expectations were. She responded extremely quickly and always in a professional manner. She even created a hour by hour schedule for who would be getting hair and makeup done at what time for myself and my girls. I did a trial run with them for my rehearsal dinner and it was great to see what I would look like on my big day (which they changed up after, of course). It also gave me time to chat with them before my big day and it felt so natural like I was talking with friends I’ve known for years. I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair and makeup and these two knocked it out of the park. They made me feel like a million bucks on my wedding day which is what every bride to be wants. Their attention to detail and communication is what you want in a vendor. Everyones makeup and hair were done in a timely manner and they even helped with things like hanging dress for our photographer, laying out my veil, setting out my invites for detail shots and so many other things beyond what they had to do. I’m so thankful I found Tamara and Diana and I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without them. Their energy and positivity is something you want surrounding you and your girls/guys on your big day!
