The Best Catering Company in Wesley Chapel

More than I could have hoped for!
Savannah, Dawnmarie and Jason went above and beyond our vision. My flowers were stunning and hand made by Dawn Dawnmarie. Savannah took the time to clarify every single detail over the 9 months we spent planning our wedding. Jason was our day of coordinator and he handled everything to a tee! He even complimented us on our ceremony, which was 40 minutes. He told ys during our reception, that all the years he's been in the industry, he had never seen a ceremony so personable, touching, moving. That most people don't really care about the ceremony anymore they're just there for the party. He said how heartfelt ours was and that was very, very touching to us. -

Amazing food and communcation!
We recently had the pleasure of working with Talk of the Town Catering for our wedding, and the experience was nothing short of culinary magic. From start to finish, their communication and attention to detail were outstanding, making our special day a true feast for the senses.
The communication with Savanah, and Talk of the Town was seamless and reassuring. They were responsive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. The collaborative planning process felt like a partnership, and it was clear that they were committed to making our wedding day as delicious and memorable as possible.
Now, let's talk about the food! Oh, the food—every bite was a celebration of flavor. The New Orleans-inspired menu was a delightful twist that added a touch of soul to our celebration. From the savory etouffee to the perfectly seasoned steak, each dish transported us to the heart of the Big Easy. It wasn't just a meal; it was a culinary journey that left our taste buds dancing with joy.
But it didn't stop there. The customized drinks were a highlight of the evening. The mixologists at Talk of The Town crafted cocktails that perfectly complemented the richness of the cuisine. We especially loved the staff who worked our event, who ensured we had a glass of our his & hers cocktail as soon as we finished the ceremony. Our bartender, Paulina, was so fun and so personable - we loved her!
What truly stood out was the dedication of the team to ensuring that every guest had a memorable dining experience. The presentation was as impressive as the taste—each dish was a work of art on the plate. It's clear that Talk of The Town takes pride in not only serving delicious food but also in creating an immersive culinary experience.
Talk of the Town exceeded our expectations and played a significant role in making our wedding day a delicious success! -

Savannah was greatto deal with. They were there on time. Did a great job setting up and tearing down. Had plenty of food and drinks. Food was excellent. Would recommend this company. -

Best Wedding Food
I have heard time and time again from my guests that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. Fresh, delicious, and the serving staff were friendly, outgoing, and considerate. The tasting provided us with the opportunity to see what we would have and how it would be prepared live. They discussed what could possibly change based on market availability and provided options to questions we had. We created our own menu and watched them bring it to life. -

Anniversary event
We had them do a anniversary event for us. Everything was amazing. The food, decorations and entertainment. The keep it in our budget and responded to all our questions. I would really recommend Talk of the Town. -

60th Birthday Party
They planned my 60th Birthday party. We had around 75 people and they provided the tent, food, staff, dessert, and the entertainment. We had a live band, carnival rides, and lots of laughter. They stuck to the budget and created lots of fun for our guest. Coreen -

Botched 1 stop shop
Our wedding was a beautiful day but there were many things that did not go as planned. For the majority of the time that we worked with TOTT, the teams within the company were not sharing information very well so we would have to provide an update multiple times. Also it felt like we were always pushing the coordination (based on a random online checklist) versus being guided through the process. We even paid to go to 1 of their hosted events just to catch up with the crew.
Although we had so many doubts leading up to the day, I remained hopeful that it would all come together in the end. Unfortunately it did not.
The good: Decor worked out really well with the photo booth being a hit (though backdrop is small), champagne wall a nice touch, and table decor looking sharp. The food was good from what we tasted and guests told me about.
The bad: ToTT outsourced the coordination with less than 2 weeks and not sharing information made us scramble to recall what felt like 100's of decisions over the months of planning. With so many handoffs and none of the people we worked with actually coming to our event, details were missed. The layout wasn't made, the specialty cocktail sign that was promised never showed and therefore nobody knew about our drinks, the appetizer sign stated CRAP cakes, the aisle runner was narrow and due to the breeze was being held with the lanterns so barely room for 1 person to walk (so decided to go without), the liquor was the cheapest available (Classic Club), and the cake table was 2 tables put together to make room for a lot of desserts which caused the wedding cake to sit tilted and in the end the desserts were just on a small tiered tray off to one side so we could barely even reach the tipping cake.
On top of all that, we made monthly payments leading up to the event for a higher headcount than the final numbers. It's been 1.5 months since and they still haven't reimbursed the difference. Apparently the 30 day after event policy has now changed to 90 days. Note that this policy change occurred almost a year after signing the contract and after our event. -

Where do I start
If I could give 0 stars I would.
But I would give Savannah 4 stars, she was amazing until about the month of the wedding she was very hard to get ahold of, didn’t even call my venue I had to call her at my rehearsal to get ahold of her; but she did go above and beyond for a lot of extra decor for me so I am thankful.

My wedding, never once was this communicated to me- I only found out the next day when my guests mentioned it… why would you not find me and tell me? The owner refunded me $600 out of
5k.. what a joke
Also they put my charcuterie board outside knowing it was the last week in June so flies were everywhere and it was barely touched. My food also looked nothing like the tasting
Also before the headcount of the deadline I told them I had 20 less guests than I originally quotedj- I also never got a refund on that amount
I could go on and on- but do your research, they seem great in the beginning… would NOT recommend -

From past Bride to a current Bride please avoid
You will get an enticing call from the owner who you will never speak to you again or even meet. You get excited it feels like the first easy thing you found with planning your wedding. You meet with the food team they are awesome and the decor team is a little mean but you brush it off. They ask for your initial headcount and you give it to them.. they say you can give them the final headcount just two weeks before your wedding. You give it to them three weeks before and it’s less people than you thought so you ask if you can get a refund. They state that they don’t give refunds, but they can give you more decor or something else. You tell them you were never advised of this and that the contract doesn’t state that… then they start ignoring you and avoiding your emails until five months after your wedding you aren’t angry at them anymore so you decide to ask kindly for your refund as it should have been given to you prior to your wedding. They also did not bring the Photo Booth as they said they would. The only good thing about this company is the food I think as my husband and I got served cold food but everybody else said it was fine so we are hoping that is the case. Don’t get me wrong, there are some good people that work here but again, hire them at your own expense, and maybe during off-season as they will be less busy, and can give you more time of day. Ask them to explain every little detail to you on the contract.

Shady Practices - avoid
We unfortunately the “Guinea pigs” of a new company- from the owners mouth himself.
Huge issue with transparency. My best advice is to get everything in writing before you start to pay. Promising you think and completely underperforming.
Floral and decor was terrible to work with we ended up having to drop another grand to not get cheap fake florals. Third party company who is very unorganized. Our photographer was good and the chef was good. DJ was fine. Savannah should find a better position- you were great.
My biggest issue is the lies with floral decor and zero desire to make anything right unless you hire them again as well as their questionable integrity. We won’t not hire again.
They also sent me small, VERY distorted photo booth pics! They said they “deleted the originals” so we were screwed, no way of recovering.
All of my guests were devastated. Take head on the bad reviews- they are all accurate!!! The company posts fake reviews- I’ve looked into them. Shame shame. Not a good way to conduct a start up business and yes- sunbiz.org will tell you it’s a start up. -

Unresponsive
Would not advise using this vendor. They must have other jobs because the planning is not a priority and I was stood up for a scheduled meeting with an event planner.
