Beautiful photos!

Taeck was so patient with us throughout the whole process - we always get nervous taking photos and he knew how to pose us and make us feel comfortable the whole time during both our engagement photoshoot and our wedding day! He answered the many many questions we had and was responsive and helpful every time. Our photos turned out AMAZING and everyone can't stop talking about them (us included lol). We are so grateful to Taeck and soo glad we chose Taeck as our photographer!! He captured all the great moments and we have so many wonderful photos of not just us but our loving family and guests. His photos really are beautiful and Taeck and Julie are just great people to work with. Thank you both!!!

Taeck is amazing, we 100% recommend him!

Taeck is an incredibly talented photographer and we would hire him again in a heartbeat. We were always at ease when it came to pictures during the engagement session and during the wedding because Taeck is so easy to connect with and detail-oriented. We highly recommend hiring Taeck for both an engagement session and the wedding. Not only were we 100% pleased with all the photos we received, but we received many compliments about the photos and about Taeck from our wedding guests. As another reviewer mentioned, there are enough things to worry about on your big day, having Taeck as our photographer made us feel really confident because we knew we were in good hands. We look forward to working with Taeck again in the future!

100% recommend Taeck!!!

Taeck is a super talented and passionate photographer, he cares a great deal about the quality of his work - we were so blown away by the pictures from our wedding, being able to relive that day through his eyes has been such a treat. Whether it's portraits, candid photos, or details - all the pictures he captured are so beautiful and special. Neither of us had gotten professional pictures taken before so we didn't know what to expect, he put us at ease immediately, showed us how to pose, and was so fun to work with! The best way to describe Taeck is that he is exceptionally good at both snapping those candid moments at the perfect time as well as staging photos. We received a huge assortment and loved all the different types of photos in our album. If you can, do an engagement session with him too! There are enough things to worry about on your big day, and having Taeck as our photographer made us feel really confident because we knew we were in good hands.

Awesome people

I would recommend Taeck Jang Photography to everyone, it is a bit pricey BUT it's worth every penny. Response time was quick and they made it very easy to understand the process. We had a bit of trouble with another vendor (videographers) but the photographers were very understanding and professional. We love how the outcome of the photos.

One of the best photographers!

Experienced professionals

We have technically been working with Taeck and Julie since 2019! Taeck and Julie are so professional and wonderful to work with. We had to adjust so much due to the pandemic and they were so accommodating and flexible. They are so thorough and all of the images We have received are gorgeous. Their collections are awesome and our engagement shoot was included into the one we selected along with some free thank you cards and prints!

Great experience working with Taeck and Julie

We had a great experience working with Taeck and Julie for both our engagement photoshoot and house microwedding. Taeck graciously worked with our short timeline to get our engagement photos edited in very fast turnaround. He was also very helpful during all of the photoshoots in directing us how to pose and choosing the best locations and angles. It was clear how experienced and skilled he is. During the wedding he was also very accomodating of our schedule running over time and was a pro at organizing the family for group photos. Finally, we were extremely happy with how all of the photos turned out. We would highly recommend Taeck and Julie to anyone looking for beautiful wedding photography!

Beautiful photos and amazing photographer!

From the first time we contacted Taeck, the experience has been great. Taeck and Julie were responsive, flexible and very pleasant to talk to and work with. During our photo shoot, Taeck guided us through great poses and made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun! And the results are amazing; he captured all the special moments and our photos are amazing - we love every photo! We highly recommend them!

Highly recommend!

Taeck Jang does amazing work! Taeck made our cooking engagement photo shoot look like it was made for a professional cookbook, he has an artistic eye and found the beauty in Baltimore's rustic neighborhood, and he made our wedding look like it was a fairy-tale. They recently had a new baby son but they were still quick with releasing the photos and responded to our questions promptly.
Scheduling multiple vendors and coordinating when they should arrive on your wedding day is a challenge, but Taeck made it so easy for me and came up with the ideal schedule. All went smoothly on our big day and I have them to thank for it.
Words cannot describe how grateful my husband and I are to have found such amazing photographers. They captured every special moment during the wedding. They are so professional and never once looked exhausted even though our wedding day was hot and humid. They make sure your hair, outfit, and body positioning are all perfect to make you look your absolute best. The photo editing is spot on with the saturation and colors. I really do not know how they do it.
I highly recommend them for your special day to capture your love for each other, look your best, and relive the moments that went by too quickly.

Taeck was a phenomenal photographer for our engagement photo shoot and wedding. He guided me and my husband through all the poses and he knew exactly which poses would make us look amazing. The photos turned out amazing and look like magazine covers! I would definitely hire Taeck again for future photo shoots :)

Literally the Best

Oh man, Taeck is truly a spectacular photographer and person. The photos above will give you a taste of his skill, but one thing I would like to emphasize is his creativity and ability to think on his feet. For instance, we brought a couple parasols as props without telling Taeck, and later that night he came up with the most brilliant way to use them in a stunning night photo. He’s also great with providing instruction and is not shy when telling you how to position. I also cannot emphasize enough how kind he is and how much he is willing to work with you. All in all it felt like working with a friend and made the wedding photography super easy and natural. You should stop searching and book him now.

Great work with Taeck !

I have known him for long times, but I never imagine that he would take my engagement and wedding pictures. He is really professional on his job and and gave us lots of helpful advise. I highly recommned him if there is someone does not know who will be the right photographer.

Highly recommend!

We loved working with Taeck and Julie. They are very talented, responsive and passionate! We had to reschedule our wedding so we first contacted them when our wedding was not even 2 months away. We are so thankful they were able to not only help us but also make every moment masterpiece.

My wedding day was unexpectedly cold with heavy wind (even though it was in April), but these awesome people were running around to find spots where they could capture with some green, which was our wedding theme color! We are lucky to have awesome and caring photographers!

Taeck and Julie are so amazing! They were everything we had hoped for and more for our small 50 people wedding. They were so accommodating, even customizing a package just for us (we didn't want an engagement shoot). They took the time to meet with us a week before our wedding to hash out details, and Taeck scouted out locations for the perfect shots to save time since we only had a small window between our ceremony and reception.

Our photos are so gorgeous! They provided an online gallery for us, as well as thumb drive with print rights card. We got 50 complimentary personalized thank you cards for our guests with our wedding photo (6 different options to choose from!) and 10 5x7 prints in matte frames. We wouldn't have asked for a better team, and we would definitely go with them again if we could.

I was a bridesmaid when I first met these wonderful photographers. I knew I wanted them for my wedding right away! They are so passionate and professional. As soon as my wedding photos were out, so many future brides asked me who the photographer was! To be honest, I couldn’t remember the first half of my wedding because it was so hectic over unexpected rain. But thanks to our photographers who captured every precious moment, it brings the joy and tears by just looking at those photos. I love every single photo they took. Seriously, me and my husband look like a couple from wedding magazine cover! Taeck took stunning photos even in the rain. They are so creative and full of ideas. Not just their quality photos that I am fond of, I love their personality too! They are so kind and warm! It feels like I have known them for long time. They response to you very fast and they try their best to listen to what the bride (and groom) really wants! I was so lucky to have them on my wedding day because they were fully booked for 2017 except 11/4/17. I know it is hard to find a good wedding photographer, I’ve been there! Save your time and contact Taeck! You won’t regret!

there are just no words - taeck jang photography is absolutely fabulous in every way. from the beginning, their prices were competitive and their product was to our eye one of the best out there. then when you get to know them and their work ethic, their friendliness and willingness to accommodate is so impressive. professional, dedicated, So talented... and then when you see your own wedding photos, it's truly unbelievable. you realize you can never get the moments back to re-do it, so the photographer is so critical. and i do not regret my choice to use taeck jang photography to capture this special, irreplaceable day :) 5+ stars. i recommend their service without reservation. thank you taeck, julie, and theresa!

Taeck and Julie make an amazing photography team! We could not be happier with our photos. As both photogenically awkward people, we were nervous at our first shoot, but they made us feel so relaxed and at ease. It was nice having a husband-wife duo because it was very comfortable getting directions from them (they would pose it out for us!). We did an engagement session which was so much fun despite the heat. The locations they chose were so beautiful and were exactly what I had wanted (tall grassy golden fields).

Taeck has a real artistic eye and will go out of his way to get the perfect shot. The day of our wedding had a sudden drop of temperature (30s in April!!) with 35 mph winds, and yet Taeck still was able to get gorgeous shots that made the weather look perfect. We received ENDLESS compliments on our photos, and so many of our guests commented on how professional our photographers were!

I think it's important to find a professional and creative photographer who matches your style. Taeck definitely has a classy, romantic light-filled style that really reflects the blissful love between a couple. We would highly recommend him again and again!

Taeck is an inspired artist. The work he does with outdoor lighting is beyond amazing. He is creative and has ideas about original angles for shots and props that give a specialized feel to the photographs that make them uniquely yours.

We loved our photos!!!!!!! Taeckjangphotography is more than what we could have asked for to capture the memories of our special day! Taeck and Julie really nailed the vision we had for our wedding photos along with our engagement photos. We wanted a more urban feel for our engagement session because our wedding photos were going to be more rustic and nature-centered. We knew it was not going to be an easy task being that Taeck is a DMV based photographer and we live in NYC. But Taeck and Julie came to NY before the shoot to scout the area beforehand and gave us great ideas of places to shoot in the city. The day of the engagement session went so smoothly and was a lot of fun. Not only was Taeck professional but really fun so we were very relaxed and it showed in the photos. On the day of the wedding Taeck paid close attention to details and really captured the type of moments we wanted! The pictures were amazing!!! If we had to do it again, Hands down we would go with Taeckjangphotography again. Thank you!!!!!

Taeck and Julie (his wife, 2nd photographer and graphic designer) are not only really nice and easy to work with, but also very talented and professional! Taeck was a wonderful photographer. We used his services for both engagement and wedding photos. His wife Julie that had assisted him during our engagement photos was darling. They are both very kind, professional, and the photos came out wonderful. I will definitely use his photography service again and recommend him 100%.

Much more than photographers! Taeck and Julie (his wife) were the absolute best people to work!! It’s hard to describe their amazing talents in words. You just have to see their photos….!!

Engagement session: We took our engagement photo at Sandy Point State Park. Taeck already 1) came here, 2) researched this place and 3) figured out the good spots to take pictures for us! He let our “love chemistry” create all the natural poses and encouraged us to do so. At the same time, he also suggested many poses we could try as well (based on his previous experiences). When we saw the photos, we were absolutely pleased with them. He was just so good at capturing the moments and emotions!! When our photos were ready, he sent us a link with secured protected password, which was very convenient for us to show the pictures to our families in overseas and access them anywhere at anytime.

Wedding Day: Preparing for wedding ceremony is stressful enough, and the last thing anybody would want is to be stressed out during the photoshoot. They constantly encouraged us to just be ourselves and helped us enjoy ourselves. On the wedding day, Taeck’s wife came with him as the second photographer. They worked as a great team and they were just fantastic. They sent our photos in timely manner and we loved every picture they took. From the preparation time to the reception, they captured every moment of our wedding day as if the whole day was videotaped; they did not miss a single moment. I recommended him to all of my friends and they were ALL pleased with their services, talents and professionalism!!

Our decision to hire Taeck as our photographer for our wedding and rehearsal dinner/pae back (traditional Korean wedding) was the best investment that we made towards our wedding. Taeck and his wife, Julie, provided top notch customer service from the initial meeting until the wedding photos were delivered to us. They even scoped out a beautiful location for us to do our portraits ahead of time, which was one less thing that I needed to worry about. They always responded in a timely manner and were always willing to work with us for any special needs. On the day of, they came on time and prepared which allowed everything else to go as planned/scheduled. He also proactively prepared us by sending us a simple and easy to follow schedule ahead of time so that we could prepare our wedding party and family for pictures.

Another plus is that they speak English and Korean which comes in handy when you have family and guests that speak one or the other. The photos turned our beautifully and we are so glad that we choose someone that could capture our special day the way that he did. We love our photos and would recommend Taeck in a heartbeat.

In a few words, Taeck is amazing! From the very first email we exchanged to our engagement session and to our wedding day, we loved every part of it. We were very pleased with his service. He has the skills to capture beautiful shots and ensures to know the style we wanted beforehand. It was our first time with any kind of photo shoot, but Taeck was so patient with us and helped us to have fun and made it easy for us during our engagement session. Then, on our snowy wedding day, Taeck and his wife were very considerate with not only us but our entire wedding party. They didn't waste a second, and went above and beyond to capture our wedding day. They were responsive during the planning, considerate with our needs and wants, punctual, creative, talented... just amazing and easy to work with! And to top all that off, they made sure to deliver our thank you cards, wedding album, and prints on time. They were packaged so nicely with top notch quality. We must say our photographs were our favorite part from the wedding, and remember; pictures are the only thing that lasts! We would definitely recommend Taeck as your photographer!

I really enjoyed working with Taeck Jang. From the initial email communications and phone calls to meeting in person he was courteous, professional, very easy to work with and patient. We had met with so many photographers in the area and he was by far the best. He is meticulous and it shows in the final product. The engagement photo shoot really impressed us; it was cherry blossom week and he put a lot of effort into giving us exactly what we wanted. From looking for parking at the National Mall for an hour to walking around in the heat until we got the shots we wanted he is incredible, superb and very detailed. He came early on the wedding day and stayed late on his own wedding anniversary we felt so bad for his sweet wife! I cannot imagine anyone else being there with us to capture the most important day our lives and we thank him for it. Truly the best!

We found Taeck on a Facebook post. His photos immediately grabbed our attention, as they had a particular artistic view which we favored. His website and blog were both easy to navigate around and clearly showed off his skills and attention to detail. Although our wedding was not local to his area, he was nice enough to accommodate our request to shoot in Philadelphia. Throughout the planning process, Taeck was prompt and thorough answering all of our questions and went far above our expectations. His dedication to his work was obvious throughout the engagement and wedding shoot. He and his partner were constantly moving around, searching for the best backdrop to capture those perfect moments. In the end, his hard work paid off and we couldn't be happier with our photos. We will definitely recommend him to all of our friends.

When we first met Taeck, we did not have many ideas about our wedding. But Taeck asked questions to help us figure out what we want. The cold weather was the least concern on our engagement shoot day, but Taeck brought smile and warmth to the session. The pictures that Taeck took are gorgeous to bring wow from everyone who sees them. What was important for us is that Taeck know which pictres are important and significant. The turn around time for the pictures were a lot quicker than what we expected. Not only the quality of the pictures were professional, but also the way in which he presented them. We loved the online link so that we can share it with family members and others. I highly recommend Taeck for anyone.

Taeck was amazing since day 1! From the time we first met with him and through our engagement and wedding photography, he made us feel comfortable and took the time to listen. There were a lot of photographers that we had met with that did not seem to really care about concerns a potential client would have, but Taeck was different which made us pick him! He was very flexible and took a lot of time to make sure the photos would come out nicely! His work definitely speak for themself as they all turn out beautifully! Taeck was everything we had been searching for in a photographer. He was professional, courteous, timely, creative and amiable. We were working on a budget and thought we would not be able to find an affordable package that fit our needs, but he was able to make slight tweaks here and there in order for us to be able to get the package that we wanted at a price that was inside of our means.

From the very first meeting, he was very accommodating and helpful. And throughout the rest of the process, his demeanor and quality of service did not change in the slightest way. He is very diligent and you can tell that he absolutely loves what he does. His wife Julie acted an assistant on a couple of our shoots and she was amazingly helpful and we warmed up to her right away. They made us feel comfortable and not self conscious or nervous even though this had been the first time either of us had been a part of a photo session.

He delivered our photos in less than the amount of time we had expected and the presentation of everything was professional and on point. Taeck has a very unique skill of seeing beauty in the smallest, most unexpected things. We were pleasantly surprised with how he was able to create a whimsical environment or capture grandeur in a picture with something that could possibly be seen as ordinary. He will do what it takes to get that beautiful shot. He was crawl, climb, lay down on the floor and sweat bullets, because he's dedicated to his job.

Our wedding day had many unplanned occurrences as would be expected with any wedding, but he went into crunch mode and did everything possible to make sure that we captured all the moments that we wanted to remember. We were very pleased with the finished product and we have so many beautiful pictures to cherish. If you are looking for a pleasant experience with great results amidst all the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, I would highly recommend Taeck for your photography services!

It has been a pleasure working with Taeck for our wedding and engagement (post-wedding) photos. Thanks to a friend’s recommendation, we have frozen some of our most precious moments in beautiful photographs. Taeck is extremely skilled at capturing emotion as well as taking candid shots of unseen beauty.

Our wedding ceremony and reception was extremely cozy, we only had about 60 guests. It was also on the hottest day of summer, July 7. The reception was very non-traditional, we didn’t have dancing or games so I was really worried Taeck would not be able to get a lot of shots. As all weddings go, it was a blur, and I really didn’t pay much attention to Taeck, I just remembered taking outdoor portraits (in 104 degree weather) with the husband. I know Taeck didn’t want to, but my husband and I rushed through the outdoor wedding portraits because we were both exhausted and sweaty. This all added to my anxiety of not getting enough good shots.

When we received our wedding slideshow, I teared up the first 10 times I watched it. There were literally moments that I completely forgot, so the slideshow effectively jogged my memory of our wedding day. The music and timing was perfect, it was a perfect teaser for the rest of our wedding pictures. Shortly after the slideshow, we received the link to view all of our wedding pictures—I was worried all of the good shots were used in the slideshow, but EVERY single picture was phenomenal. I was shocked at how photogenic I was, as vain as it is, I couldn’t stop looking at myself! I was amazed at all the beautiful candid pictures, it actually surprised me how unaware I was of Taeck during the wedding. We had so many great shots of our guests, I was able to print them out and distribute them as thank you gifts.

A commending review cannot do justice for this man’s skill. His talent is obvious in his work. As we start planning on expanding our family, I already know who I’ll call to capture our baby’s most precious moments :]

Search no more! Finding the right photographer to capture the once in a lifetime event was stressing to me. I researched and researched. I knew Taeck would be the right photographer cause he definitely seemed passionate about his work. I liked his style of photography and it was more on the creative side (which was exactly what I've been searching for). I was pleased how he listened to what I wanted and really incorporated everything I said into the pictures.

I had only 2 months to plan my event and he worked around my schedule. I needed to find someone with flexibility cause unexpected things happen in the last moment. I had to change two appointments with him and he worked with me without giving me a difficult time. He was professional from beginning to end. The photographer really exceeded my expectations.

Pictures really are worth a thousand words. Pictures are something that are priceless and capture those moments that we will cherish the rest of our lives. I wanted all that and more. He really did all that and more. I definitely recommend him. I plan on using him for all my future events. I guarantee, that if you hire him...U can check off photographer on your list to do...Just like I did.
