  So Many Compliments

  Our friends and family were skeptical when we said that we were having a salsa bar and tacos at our wedding. Flash forward to the big day, we got SO MANY compliments! Everyone raved about the food and many people went to get seconds. We had a salsa, queso, and guacamole bar during cocktail hour. For dinner, guests had the option of a steak, chicken or shrimp taco (or all three!) with spinach rice, beans, queso and salsa. Everything was delicious! Candace was incredibly easy to work with during the planning process. The only drawback to Taco Lu Catering is that they do not provide a cleanup service afterwards but our venue took care of everything. We were so impressed by how affordable everything was. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!

  Delicious Food with Exceptional Service

  We chose TacoLu to cater our wedding because I was determined to have a taco bar at my wedding and we already know we love TacoLu’s food. It was an amazing decision, to put it mildly.
  
  The food was beyond delicious. We chose to have carnitas and verde chicken tacos and both were mind-blowingly good. We had Mexican street corn, rice, and beans as our sides and chose to have a chips and salsa/queso/guac bar. The guests could not stop raving about the food. Most said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. Some even said they couldn’t wait to come back to town so they could go to the TacoLu restaurant.
  
  Candace was always professional and informative. She was personable and helped me understand exactly what to expect day of. She and her staff showed up on time and offered exceptional service. They brought their own tables and tablecloths and had a lovely display. They were a big help in cleaning up and, best of all, were very affordable.
  
  If I ever throw another big party that needs catering, I’ll be sure to reach out to Candace at TacoLu! We highly recommend their services.

  Taco buffet was a hit!

  My daughter and her husband love tacos and wanted a fun vibe at their wedding reception so she called the best taco place in Jacksonville, Taco Lu! They came in and set up their own tables complete with a display of colorful Mexican tiles. We ordered blackened Mahi tacos as well as chicken, and my personal favorite, brisket. Everything was delicious! They set up a salsa bar for the cocktail hour with a nice variety of salsas and excellent guacamole. Candace provided four servers so the line moved quickly and efficiently. Our guests loved the food. Thanks Taco Lu!

  TacoLu catered our wedding rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. The staff was wonderful to work with and the food was expectional. I had compliments galore.

  They were amazing. Not your average wedding food but it was for my outdoor backyard wedding. My only negative thing I could say was that they ran out of tortillas and chips. But I think I was their first wedding. It didn't damper the party. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave my husband and I a to go bag filled with left overs and some giftcards.
