We had heard that Tableau was THE place for rehearsal dinners in New Orleans, so it was the first and only place we considered. It's right on Jackson Square, so you can't get a better location for photos and people staying in the French Quarter. The Green Room was roomy, dreamy, and had its own private balcony. Restrooms were adjacent, and the round tables of 10 made socializing easy. Stephanie worked with our budget and the end result was a memorable evening. Guests raved about the food and service. Tableau provided a microphone for toasts, and staff went out of their way to ensure that we were all taken care of. It's the little things, like willingness to snap a photo, making sure water glasses are full, and accommodating special needs (e.g. vegan) that sets Tableau apart. Dickie Brennan sets very high expectations for his food and staff, and boy did they deliver! We loved our dining experience so much that we made a pact with the bride's parents to go to Tableau every year to celebrate our son and daughter-in-law's anniversary!

Rehearsal dinner
We used Tableau for a rehearsal dinner for our St. Louis Cathedral wedding for our son. Everything was amazing. The staff was easy to work with and flexible. The on-site staff gave superb service and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend. The Green Room was the perfect venue for our 60 guests and use of the balcony was a plus.

Amazing wedding!
Tableau was the perfect place to have our micro wedding! The planning was seamless, the food was incredible, and the staff was amazing. Our bartender Kaylyn and server Ashleigh were SO sweet and all of the guests raved about how great they were. The parlor room was beautiful and our guests loved the balcony. We organized flowers recommended by the restaurant and it went seamlessly.

Everything about Tableau was perfect for our Rehearsal Dinner! We had quite a few people from out of town and everyone commented how wonderful the food and service was and how beautiful the room was. The staff was so attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. Being in the heart of New Orleans was just the cherry on top of a perfect night. I’d highly recommend Tableau to anyone looking to host an event or if your just in town visiting!

Flawless Experience
My husband and I were dining at Tableau 2 years ago on a trip, and were talking to a server about how we were wanting to have a 10 year anniversary/vow renewal in New Orleans. They stopped what they were doing and introduced us to Stephanie the event coordinator who took us on a tour of the restaurant's private dining rooms. We picked a room in our minds then and there. Over the course of a year and a half of planning, Stephanie and the team were quick to respond to emails, build out sample menus, field questions, and help create our vision into a reality. We chose the Parlor Room, which had a small balcony, for our private anniversary dinner on New Year's Eve this year. The servers were amazing and kind and personable, the bartender was fabulous and attentive, and every detail of the dinner was excellent. I couldn't have been happier with how the evening went. We had several of our guests say it was the nicest dinner party they had been to in years, and that it felt so special to be on the square, with a view of St. Louis' Cathedral from our balcony on New Year's Eve. The food for a large group was just as great as it was for a service of two - and the oyster pirogue was what all of my dreams were made of.
Couldn't recommend this place more, and couldn't be more appreciative of all their work.

Perfect wedding reception
We had our destination wedding reception here in the parlor room and it was perfect. After searching many restaurants we came across Tablaeu, their menu selection was great and the manager Stephanie is super responsive to questions and special requests. Very affordable compared to many other places for a private event, most others wanted a 5,000$ minimum spend where Tablaeu came in at 2,000$ before taxes and gratuity. The service was wonderful and the food beat all expectations! Highly recommend the duck poppers and the gumbo! We will definitely be back.

The Tableau venue
The staff at Tableau were exemplary! This venue nestled in the French Quarter with balcony views of Jackson Square coupled with Dickie Brennan’s food and service made our brunch experience one of a kind for our guests. Had a 20 person wedding rehearsal dinner here and couldn't be happier with everything. The response time to plan out event was really fast. Any accommodation we needed was met with a smile. Having a destination wedding is tricky but we chose Tableau for our rehearsal dinner and Stephanie and her team made it happen. She was helpful, patient, had suggestions and was very easy to reach and quick to respond. The venue/Green Room was perfect along with the balcony looking onto the French Quarter. The staff for the dinner did a fantastic job. The entire meal was delicious and we were given some fun unique to NOLA options. Highly recommend Tableau for your special event.

Bridal Luncheon
I hosted 16 people for my niece’s bridal luncheon. The room was perfectly set up, had a beautiful view/balcony overlooking the courtyard, had absolutely delicious food with wonderful portions, and I cannot say enough about the staff. Our bar tender and waiter were so very friendly and accommodating. We had a pregnant guest and our bar tender went out of her way to make the perfect mochtail so she felt included. I couldn’t be happier with how everything was from the moment we arrived until we left.

A perfect Rehearsal Dinner

Amazing Experience!!
Our rehearsal dinner was one for the books! The room was gorgeous, service was fabulous and our guests enjoyed the the experience. We had a vegetarian in the group and Tableau accommodated without issue (and she raved about her dish!!) We did go over what we thought budget-wise but the pricing was still fair and it was honestly because we were a pretty big group enjoying some pricier wines. All in all, 10 out of 10!

Amazing! Best Upscale Private Dinner in Jackson Square
Wonderful! I hosted a bachelorette weekend in New Orleans for a close friend, and our private dinner in Tableau’s parlor room was one of the highlights of the weekend! Everyone raved about the amazing food, excellent service, and the friendliness of the staff. Further, even though I arranged everything from out of town (I’m from NY), the restaurant’s event manager (Stephanie Aubrey) went above and beyond to make sure that everything from the booking/deposit to the menu/bar selections to the custom menu were perfect for my event. Could not be happier.
(Side note- I considered having the dinner at Muriel’s, but found the staff to be much less helpful/flexible. It was also slightly more expensive and provided fewer menu options. Very happy that I went with my gut and tried Tableau instead.)
What a wonderful restaurant to try my first time in New Orleans. I will definitely go again the next time I’m in town! Highly recommend!

I had my rehearsal dinner in the Parlor upstairs. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a private balcony with a view of the lovely courtyard and St. Louis Cathedral. As soon as my guests arrived, the staff started passing hors d'oeuvres. We had a satellite bar upstairs and the bartender was amazing. Tableau allowed me to choose a few cocktails to add to the menu and they were perfect. If you are looking for an intimate gathering, I couldn't recommend a better venue. Plus that courtyard! Beautiful restaurant and great service. The staff worked with me right up until the day of the event to make sure we had everything we wanted. Stephanie is the Sales Manager and she is responsive and thorough. She went above and beyond while working with me to create the food and drink menu. I was going for that "New Orleans feel" and Tableau did not disappoint. It was perfect.

Amazing private dining experience!
I booked this venue (parlor room) for a bachelorette dinner. When we initially spoke to the banquet manager Stephanie, she walked us through options and was very responsive with any questions. Her team was great to communicate with as well. They were able to customize a package just for our needs/wants. The whole night went smoothly, our server Kaylyn was so attentive, polite and very patient as we had a large group of women who all wanted different cocktails. The food was incredible. Highly recommend a private dining experience here!

The rehearsal dinner for our destination wedding was exceptional. Everyone who worked at Tableau was attentive to our particular needs and worked to keep up happy. Stephanie helped us select the perfect menu. Her attention to all details helped us relax and know the night was going to be great. We are just incredibly thankful that we chose Tableau for our son’s rehearsal dinner before his August 20th wedding. The food, restaurant decor/New Orleans style room and service was impeccable. Eric was our attendant and was outstanding! He was personable, timely and organized. Excellent female bartender as well. The private room we had the Rehearsal Dinner in was the Library and it was perfect! It had a cool ambiance and also had private access to a balcony. The service was great all night and very helpful. Also the location of Tableau is perfect.

Tableau was excellent
Held the Rehearsal dinner in the Drawing room with 40 people attending. Horsd’oeuvres, appetizers, entrees and deserts were excellent. Staff was excellent and attended to all our quests quickly. We hosted a welcome party in the Drawing Room with about 125 in attendance. Long bar and balcony were well used . Premium liquor package and raw oysters, and shrimp were excellent.
All in all, a great time by our quests

Bachelor Dinner in the Wine Room at Tableau
We hosted a bachelor weekend dinner for 14 people in the private Wine Room at Tableau and it exceeded our expectations. We had a great time, the food was delicious, the servers were attentive, and the wine room was a memorable setting for the dinner. While the food/bar minimum was slightly higher than at some other restaurants in the area, the Wine Room was the most impressive space and we're glad we chose Tableau for our event. Would recommend.

Bachelor Party Brunch
The brunch that was coordinated by Stephanie was fantastic! From the personalized menus and options, to the great food and service, it was overall a great experience booking our private party at Tableau. Would highly recommend!

The perfect rehearsal dinner
We hosted a wonderful private rehearsal dinner in the Library room and couldn't have been happier with how the evening went. Stephanie was extremely helpful in coordinating the evening, reaching out to remind us of upcoming decisions on the menu, and accommodating some last-minute changes to the evening. The staff on the evening were attentive, ensuring glasses were never empty, and politely stepping out and pausing the service to allow for some speeches to take place.
The food at Tableau is AMAZING, and a perfect representation of New Orleans Creole cuisine, for both New Orleanians and out-of-town guests alike.
I couldn't recommend Tableau enough. If you're considering hosting a private meal here, just go for it, you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful place for Rehearsal Dinner
We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 plus people , during Mardi Gras season. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, with many options to choose from . The Green room was spacious & well appointed. We had a great time !!

Bridal luncheon
I had my bridal luncheon in Tableau's Parlor room and it was amazing! The room was nicely set up overlooking the courtyard. The service was outstanding! All servers were attentive the whole luncheon! My drink was never empty :)
The food was phenomenal as well! All the ladies that attended the luncheon had nothing but great things to say about the whole experience! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

Excellent brunch venue with great service!
Tableau is a beautiful restaurant with several great private rooms perfect for a bachelorette brunch or rehearsal dinner! Management is super easy to work with, and the staff is very attentive.

“Over the Top”
We were so very pleased with the hospitality and service. The Venue was perfect for our event. The food was delicious and they even catered to our younger guest. The staff were was very professional and provided anything we needed!

The location was perfect for our guest. Many from out of state who had never visited NOLA!

Elegant Rehearsal Dinner
We had our rehearsal dinner at Tableau the night before our wedding in New Orleans. I can't say enough good things about our dining experience. Our group was for 35 people and we were seated in a private room that was beautifully decorated with Christmas decor. It was beyond elegant and the service was incredible! I highly recommend Tableau for any dining event, especially special events. They also included a custom menu for us that had our wedding header at the top of the menu. Such a special touch!

Phenomenal rehearsal dinner!
I had my rehearsal dinner here for my wedding back in November. It was IMPECCABLE. We had the Wine Room, which was GORGEOUS (although freezing, it would have been nice if they put a little space heater in there or something, so bring a coat) and very private for us. It even has its own bathroom space. The food was incredible, we really enjoyed the blue crab legs in the sauce (butter with something?). Stephanie was our coordinator and she did a great job handling everything over email with us, and was very professional. We had to move dates twice due to COVID and she was ver gracious with us about it and we had zero problems. I had the gulf fish which was phenomenal also. And for dessert we have a tasty variety and ALL were delicious. Thank you so much! We will be back next time we are in town!!

Campbell/Candilora Rehearsal Dinner
We had to cancel the original venue that we had selected for this rehearsal dinner to Covid restrictions. We then picket The Tableau. It worked out perfectly for us. It was close to the wedding venue and hotel we chose. The food and drinks were excellent, the staff was courteous and helpful. It couldn't have gone any smoother and Stephanie was a gem to work with and so helpful. We highly recommend their services.

Pre-wedding family dinner
I planned a dinner 10/15/21 for my fiance's and my family the night before our wedding. I worked with Stephanie from Tableau last spring to coordinate everything. She was very responsive, professional, and friendly in her emails.
Our dinner went off without a hitch. We had a lovely room upstairs with a balcony. My fiance and I arrived just a bit early to make sure everything was on target. No worries! They had a beautiful oyster and shrimp bar set up and a cocktail bar with our own bartender! The tables were set beautifully.
Our servers that evening, Eric, Raelle, and Brett were amazing. They were of great humor, joined in the laughter, and added to the fun evening. They were also efficient and professional.
I asked for three menu choices: fish, beef, and chicken. Our guests could not have gone wrong with any of the choices. All were delicious. The duck gumbo was perfectly prepared and so tasty. My Midwest family loved the oysters and said they were so fresh and delicious.
I had contact with several French Quarter restaurants before choosing Tableau. It was an excellent choice!

Absolutely amazing!
There is no going wrong with this venue! Making a reservation was super simple. Stephanie did a wonderful job of keeping us informed. Day of the event was a breeze. It was so peaceful at the restaurant and our private room was stunning! Don’t even get me started on the food! Best food I’ve had at a restaurant with a wonderful selection!

Best Place for a Bridal Luncheon/Shower
The Green Room at Tableau is the perfect place to have a bridal luncheon! We had excellent service and the food was delicious. From the Green Room, the balcony overlooks Jackson Square. Even though it was a hot summer day, the balcony access was so nice to have. We had about 20-25 guests and the room size was perfect. The food at the buffet brunch was amazing as well. We all had a wonderful time!

Beautiful Bridesmaid Brunch
I can’t express how much I appreciate the Brennan’s organization and the special events coordinator Stephanie A. for exceptional service from beginning to end for a very special bridesmaids luncheon at the Tableau Restaurant. At the peak of the pandemic, she was one of the few people that gave us the time of day for future planning. We were 6 busy ladies, “Shelby’s Aunts”, who were seeking the perfect location to host an event for a bride that we have watched grow up since a baby. You can imagine how many questions that needed answering with so many women involved! Stephanie was a total pro and promptly customized the event based on our needs and budget and graciously made changes when we asked . She is a true gem to their organization. We had the event in the beautiful “Library Room” that overlooks their courtyard. It was a perfect setting for 24 ladies attending with plenty of space for a Drag Queen performance. I wish I had taken the time to get the names of the wait staff because they were exceptional. Everything was perfectly set with Champagne chilling when we arrived. In true southern fashion, the hospitality was impeccable where the guests’ Mimosa flutes were always filled, and the courses were served in perfect sync like the cadence of a second line band. All of the food was scrumptious. I’m rather partial to the shrimp and grits that I ate which exploded with rich flavor. I’m from the Gulf Coast and rather picky about my shrimp, but it is the best I ever had. All the bridesmaids were saying that there was no way this bridesmaids luncheon could ever be topped. I wanted to make a note about the cost of the event. All of the hostesses agreed that the cost of event was reasonable and fair. Our Reception
My fiancé and I have been planning our wedding for almost three years thanks to Covid. The entire time Stephanie from Tableau was there working with us and helping us design a perfect menu as well as options if we needed to move our ceremony. She was everything you could ask for in a sales manager.
During our reception the restaurant and staff were amazing. Our guests said it was the best meal the had in the entire French Quarter ( which wasn’t a surprise to us as we go to Tableau every time we are in Nola. If you are looking for a place to have an amazing experience this is the place.

Over the top amazing!!
Our experience with Tableau was amazing, we called around to a few restaurants and from the beginning the staff was very helpful. Stephanie Aubrey was great with helping us coordinate our rehearsal dinner from Calif. The night of our event, the staff was over the top helpful... and the food was 5 star!!!! Great place to host an unforgettable event
We reserved the Parlor room for an event dinner, and it was the perfect space for our group of 15! The room is beautifully neutral, secluded, and opens to a balcony overlooking the gorgeous patio courtyard. Service was wonderful; we had a cash bar and everyone had an incredible time. The food was delicious! Everyone left satisfied and had nothing but good things to say. If I ever need to host another group dinner in New Orleans again, I'd go to Tableau without hesitation- the prompt responses, simple booking process, and overall grand experience make for an easy win in my book!!

We had a wonderful time at our wedding rehearsal dinner at Tableau. Food, drinks and services were great. The wait staff was excellent. They were attentive with pleasant personalities.
We scheduled our January 2021 dinner in April of 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. With the ever changing circumstances, the event planner, Ms. Aubrey, was always available and made changing accommodations as needed.

Rehearsal Dinner
We had our rehearsal dinner at Tableau and it was fabulous! From planning with Stephanie to the night of, everything was perfect and stress free. The food was delicious and there is a variety of options when customizing your group menu. We had a day in between the rehearsal and the wedding and several of our wedding party went back to Tableau the next day for lunch. Also, the price is very reasonable and well worth it! I can not recommend this place enough.

Wonderful bridesmaid luncheon
Setting was beautiful. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Selections were enjoyed by all. Definitely will do another event. The sales staff makes it easy to book private events. This is our Third such event.

Exceptional!
The courtyard was the perfect place to hold our wedding ceremony. Quiet and intermate. Then up to the Library room. Perfect! Room was perfect for our seating. The wait staff were on point with service and professionalism. No wait for anything. They treated us like royalty, not that you need to be a royal to have special treatment, but it sure felt great as we just got married. So on cloud 9 anyway. The food was absolutely the best meal we have had in New Orleans. Sit down dinner of 25 people and everything was cooked perfectly and the temperature it should be. My steak was melt in your mouth tender. Oh and I was blown away by the Shrimp Remoulade. Who knew white remoulade, hard boiled egg, fried green tomato, and green tomato relish would be the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. Cheers to the chef!!! and the amazing staff at Tableau. You made our wedding unforgettable.

Pulling off a fantastic event in 2020
we had the best experience with the team at Tableau. We had last minute issues due to hurricane Sally (not to mention the pandemic), and everyone at Tableau helped us work through changes without issue. The food itself was truly fantastic, hats off to everyone involved in making this such a memorable evening.

Fabulous, Intimate Wedding During Covid-19 with Ease
Covid-19 threw my plans for my wedding for a loop. Tableau came to the rescue. We were able to have a beautiful ceremony in the courtyard and private dinner after. The food and service was top notch and the whole Tableau team was a pleasure to work with. Stephanie is incredibly responsive and made everything a breeze. Lovely evening
Great food, service, and atmosphere. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Library which has an awesome balcony overlooking French Quarter architecture and also Jackson Square. The restaurant and Library room itself are both so beautiful. So happy we chose Tableau. Everyone had a wonderful time!

Rehearsal dinner was beautiful
Location off of Jackson Square beautiful. Venue beautiful with balcony. Easy to find for out-of-towners. Room great. Menu selection very good. Service great and personable, very professional. Food great, especially turtle soup. Prepared and displayed so well on plates. Help setting it up very professional; good help with obtaining specific wine selections. All 55 attendees to rehearsal dinner were ecstatic and couldn't help gushing over the whole affair. It was seamless.

This was a small formal dinner with family after our wedding in the Parlor room.
Our private dinner with family was perfect. The courtyard where everyone waited was very nice. Dinner was delicious and the staff was very professional and helpful. We couldn’t have gotten a more beautiful and well handled event!

Allison’s Bridal Brunch at Tableau
Yesterday I gave a brunch For my daughter and her bridesmaid at Tableau. Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful with a small balcony overlooking a courtyard, the waiters were very efficient and attentive and the food was exquisite. Tableau was Perfect!
The Rehearsal Dinner at the Tableau was a magical night! We had it at the Green Room with approximately 60 guests. The guests were able to select from three entrees. All were delicious! The service was top notch. Most guests were from out of town and loved the New Orleans flavor. The locals definitely said they would return another day. I highly recommend the Tableau for any wedding events you may want to plan.

Amazing wedding brunch at Tableau.
We had our wedding brunch at Tableau on 9/15/19. I would recommend Tableau to anyone who is looking for an excellent dining experience, fun atmosphere and top notch service. Stephanie Aubrey made sure that every detail was taken care of. Her knowledge and expertise in dealing with people and her availability made communication easy. It was a pleasure to deal with her from start to finish. Erik and the staff at the restaurant on the day of our brunch was amazing and made sure that everything was perfect. Our guests raved about the food and the service that they received. They enjoyed the band that plays at the restaurant, The Joe Simon Band, who came and played for our guests. All in all they had a true New Orleans experience. I highly recommend Tableau without hesitation. Thank you for making my brunch a success!!

Recently visited New Orleans and restaurant Tableau for the first time. We had a group of 13, and were treated to an excellent experience. The cozy private Wine Room experience exceeded expectations. Low stress and exceeding expectations
We planned a very simple and small wedding ceremony in Jackson Square, and wanted to celebrate with brunch after. Tableau was the perfect location, and the menu was great for out of town guests wanting traditional New Orleans cuisine. Everyone was so impressed with the menu, and I never had to worry about a single detail! It was exactly what my husband and I imagined for a low-key impressive ‘reception.’
