We got married in June 2022 and the easiest decisions we made was booking Sydnie as our photographer, because her photography is just that amazing! We fell in love with Sydnie's photography style right away, and after speaking with her to discuss possibly working together, we had no doubts she was going to be the best person to capture this special day in our lives, and she definitely delivered! We are beyond thrilled, not just with our wedding photos, but also with our engagement photos. She really knows how to capture a couple's personality through her camera, guiding them in creating those unique and special moments on film. My husband and I are not really naturals in front of a camera, but Sydnie knew exactly how to help and the photos turned out even better than we expected. Sydnie is also incredibly easy to talk to and makes herself available to answer questions. She is one of the friendliest and sweetest people you'll meet. We can't wait to use her again for future maternity shots and family portraits! -

I am the father of the bride. Didn't figure prominently on the BIG day, so I filled my time observing/evaluating the fruits of my wallet.
My daughter, Megan, chose Sydnie to be her wedding photographer. Sydnie had been the photographer at a friend's wedding, where Megan fell exuberantly in love with Sydnie's work. Securing Sydnie for her wedding was the first, and most essential, decision made.
Midway through THE day, I approached Sydnie to chat with her. Confessed how much Megan wanted her to be her photographer. Offered that, from my point of view, Sydnie was decidedly calm, confident and engaged. Notwithstanding her cool/collected demeanor, Sydnie was ever alert for a photo opportunity. A consummate professional.
In response to my observations, Sydnie revealed that she loves what she does. All I could say was: "It shows." The father of the bride got his wallet's worth. -

Best photographer ever!
Sydnie was absolutely the best! Sydnie and her photos are 10/10. She shot both wedding day and engagement. Highly recommend for both.
Syndie is very responsive and helpful for wedding day flow and suggestions. We are not naturally photogenic, but Sydnie made us feel very comfortable and made us look great.
Sydnie is an artist and came up with imaginative shoots. Timeless style! -

Absolutely amazing
My husband and I hired Sydnie for our Calistoga wedding in June and it was the best decision we made! Not only was she so responsive and able to connect with us to discuss our photography vision prior to our big day, she has been amazing at communication even after the fact! Our photos turned out so beautifully, seriously each and every one of them is stunning to look at. I have not stopped looking at them since we got them! She absolutely has an eye for detail and you can tell by her work she truly loves what she does, which makes for amazing photos. We have received so many compliments from our family and friends on our photos and we couldn’t have asked for anything better, they’re wonderful. Sydnie’s creativity captured our day perfectly. Cannot thank Sydnie enough! Hopefully we get to work with her again one day. -

Sydnie is your girl!
Sydnie was absolutely AMAZING! She was so easy to work with! She showed up on time and was ready to shoot. I’m truly excited to see how all of our photos turned out! Sydnie sent me a handful of edited pictures the day after the wedding and they were so beautiful. My favorite thing about the way she photographs is you really don’t even know she’s there. There were so many moments that I had no idea were captured. She is truly amazing at what she does!!! -

Absolutely magical!
I was blown away by Sydnie's photographs of my wedding. She not only was professional and on time, but she truly captured the magic of my wedding day. she was easy to work with and made us feel comfortable from the engagement session to the wedding day. I cannot thank her enough for capturing the little moments like she did. I feel truly blessed that I get to look at these pictures for the rest of my life with so much love and fondness. I highly recommend Sydnie!
When it comes to wedding planning one of the hardest things is finding a good photographer. It’s a day you never want to forget and a good photographer is a must. My now husband had posted on Facebook looking for photographers In our area and Sydnie replied. When I saw her work I was instantly in love! I loved the vintage look in her photos. Not only is she an incredible photographer she was great to work with. She was very prompt in replying to any questions I had leading up to the big day. And she was very helpful in guiding us when taking photos. I have only seen a handful of our wedding pictures. But I am absolutely in LOVE with the ones I have seen. I am so happy we found Sydnie! -

Look no further, this is your wedding photographer! She not only captures each moment, but each emotion in every photo. We cannot stop looking at these photos. The day off and following day we received several gorgeous photos! She not only did a fabulous job, but she was so pleasant to work with. Calm, collected and directed us to pose the correct way to create phenomenal photos, even the dogs! A truly talented, passionate and dedicated artist. Sydnie Leah was just that, everything we wanted and more. From the moment we came across her on instagram, we automatically fell in love with her style and her pictures. We started with a meet and greet in the cutest cafe in Sonoma, that led to hours of talking. We knew right away, we wanted Sydnie. We scheduled our engagement shoot for middle of November 2018, but with the fires in Paradise, CA, sydnie suggested changing dates due to the fact that she wanted our pictures to be perfect, And we couldn't agree more. When it came time to take the engagement photos, Sydnie made them feel so easy. So comfortable. We were able to enjoy ourselves and be ourselves. We even had our puppy tag along with our pictures. Sydnie even went as far to ask us our music preferences so she could play while we took pictures. Fast forward nine months later to our wedding, and Sydnie did not disappoint. She took into consideration everything we wanted and put her talented spin to it. The pictures, the laughs, the tears, the enjoyment were undeniable. We still cannot stop looking at those pictures. honestly we didn't even know she was there, quietly snapping pictures as the ceremony and the reception went on. Sydnie helped made our day as special as it was, as we have no doubt she will do for you. -

Sydnie leah is the best
Everyone thought that I was crazy to plan a wedding in 6 months, especially one that was for a popular June date. Luckily the stars aligned and I was able to book all of the vendors I had in mind. Sydnie was at the TOP of my list. I gave myself one item to splurge on and it was photography. This was a surprising decision for most that know me because I/we are not a huge fan of being photographed.
I had discovered Sydnie through a college friend who had recently taken absolutely amazing engagement pictures. They captured natural beauty, effortless love, and romantic color. I realized in this moment I had to have her :). I contacted Sydnie immediately and she was prompt on her return email response and worked with me on engagement pictures.
After several conversations trying to convince my now husband to partake in engagement pictures, we were both thrilled with the result and he even thanked me later. She made it so comfortable and it made our wedding day that much better.
The wedding day...Sydnie agreed to make the drive from California to Oregon to capture our day and we are so thankful. Not only did she capture the huge moments but its also all of the little ones that make a wedding. The pictures of me dancing with my new step daughter, the friends that showed up to help us get ready/photo bomb our pictures, the aunts and uncles we haven't seen in years, the tears (mostly myself) that start flowing when your best friend has "the voice of an angle" (those of have watched step brothers will get that reference) while signing James Arthur "Say You Won't Let Go", the hug in the background of a grandfather hugging his grandson saying that he wishes grandma could have seen this. Those are the moments that are too easily forgotten but Sydnie and her lovely assistant captured them beautifully. These moments are priceless.
With that being said, did I mention how much I ABSOLUTELY LOVED our bride and groom pictures! I will forever have them plastered all of our walls. When we have more kids I will show them and remind them how good looking and in love their parents are.
Sydnie was professional and graceful throughout our experience and we could not ask for a better photographer to capture our unforgettable day!

Sydnie made taking photos so comfortable and natural. At no point did i feel like an awkward person posing for pictures. She was very professional during my whole wedding experience and was able to respond to emails in a timely manor. All of my photos turned out amazing and they are more than i could have ever asked for. I highly recommend her as a photographer and would definitely use her services. -

My wedding was a more intimate “elopement” type wedding. However, I still wanted amazing photos I could cherish forever. I searched high and low for a photographer who was affordable but would also give me the wedding photos of my dreams. Sydnie actually reached out to me after I had posted an inquiry on Facebook & I am so glad she did. She was above and beyond what I could have envisioned. She’s very professional, sweet, and answered any questions I had about the day of. Not only was she easy to work with but the quality of her photos is outstanding. She captured all of the special moments and even got the small details I never would have thought to ask for a picture of. I would highly recommend her to EVERYONE! -

If you want a truly talented photographer for your special day, Sydnie is your girl. She captured our wedding day perfectly and her editing style is gorgeous. She has a genuine eye for an excellent photograph. Beyond the high quality of her art, she was a joy to work with. My husband wasn't thrilled to be taking lots of photos at first, but Sydnie made it comfortable and an enjoyable experience for both of us! We are sincerely in LOVE with our photos from our engagement session AND our wedding. We highly recommend her!!! -
Juliana Sent on 08/24/2018As soon as I saw Sydnie’s work I instantly knew I wanted her to photograph my wedding! My husband & I are pretty awkward in front of the camera & had never taken professional photos, so I was nervous they wouldn’t turn out how I wanted them to or that we would look silly.
Thankfully Sydnie was such a sweetheart & instantly made us feel comfortable. She directed us without being pushy & had lots of ideas for different poses. You can tell she’s passionate about what she does. Especially when she snaps a few photos, looks down at her camera & says things like “I’m freaking out” over how much she likes the pictures. It was endearing to hear her excitement & in turn made us feel more confident with a camera in our face.
Our engagement photos turned out stunning. We had a handful of them blown up on canvas & placed around the wedding venue. People absolutely loved them.
During the reception my husband, Sydnie & I slipped away to take one on one photos. It was refreshing to have a few minutes of just us two together. By that point Sydnie felt like a friend & all of the nervousness in front of the camera had disappeared.
Lastly, Sydnie is amazing at editing photos! I did not sleep the night before my wedding. I was very tired & I felt like I looked tired. However, you wouldn’t know it by the photos. She somehow managed to make me shine in every photo. Thank god!
If you’re a future bride reading this & you’re on the fence about who to hire for your wedding, go with Sydnie! You won’t regret it. She works with you throughout the entire process & is just a really cool human. It is worth every penny & you will never regret having amazing photos from such a happy day in your life.
P.S. My mother, who was VERY apprehensive about hiring a photographer in Sydnie's price range, has come out multiple times and said she is thrilled we hired Sydnie. She said it was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding! -

We are so glad we hired Sydnie to be our wedding photographer! She included engagement photos in our package which was so helpful in getting to know her and getting more comfortable in front of her camera. She was very low key and didn't make us feel stressed or uncomfortable, but also got excited with and for us about shots that she just loved! She had some suggestions for posing, but didn't dictate everything we did so that pictures looked more natural. Overall, so happy with the photos we've ended up with and the experience as a whole! -
Rachel Sent on 02/10/2018Sydnie was very flexible and understanding! First of all we had to change our wedding date and sydnie was kind and empathetic and made our new wedding date work. The quality of Sydnie’s photos are wonderful. Our only complaint is that we wish there were more poses of me and my husband because most photos of us are us looking at each other and also our exit photos were blurry but those things happen and my husband was VERY sick with the flu on our wedding day so I think Sydnie did not want to push us too much. We love our photos, thank you Sydnie!!
