This is a great venue! I got married here almost 2 weeks ago and have nothing but good things to say about the venue and the Sycamore Farm team. The venue is beautiful! It is quite and very intimate. The venue coordinator, Jennifer, is absolutely amazing! She helped with everything – setup, keeping the wedding on time, organizing the bridal party, etc. She was wonderful to work with and made my wedding day stress-free. Overall, my experience with Sycamore Farm was great! -

This venue is amazing! This venue and property is beautiful. The owners are so easy to work with and they are willing to help you at any time. I loved that I didn't have to do a ton of decorating because the venue already had so much. The day of the wedding, I had my own decorator setting up things but they also have their own event manager who helps set up all the linens/tables/chairs and greets all the vendors to make sure they have everything they need. I did not have to worry about a single thing that day and I loved it. I would recommend them to anyone! -

Sycamore Farm was amazing!!! If I had to plan my wedding again I would choose them without a doubt. They were so great to work with and made our day more special than we ever thought possible! I would recommend them to anyone! -

Diann and Ted were wonderful to work with and offered helpful suggestions. We had a Sunday afternoon ceremony and reception with cake and hors d'oeuvres. Diann worked with the caterer and set up the perfect menu! Even though a hot day was expected we were very comfortable. Sycamore Farm sits atop a hill and have wonderful cooling breezes --- the farm is also equipped with plenty of fans. With the suggestions from Diann and Ted we moved the ceremony to ensure the guests would be in the shade during the ceremony as well. We could not have asked for a more perfect day! -

I loved everything about this venue! Diann and Ted were extremely helpful in the months leading up to my wedding, and Holly and Jack were both there the day of the event to set up and help things run smoothly.
This venue is absolutely gorgeous and all my guests were very complimentary.

Diann and Ted were wonderful hosts! We planned our wedding long distance from LA. A couple times we sprung surprise visits to Bloomington on them and asked if we could swing by last minute. They accommodated most every request. We transformed the barn into our dream wedding and it was gorgeous! Thanks Diann and Ted for all your help creating our memorable day! -

Lots of thanks for the great support Sycamore Farms, and specially Diann Lock, gave us for our wedding.
The farm is incredible!!! We had so many great comments from all our family and friends that share the day with us. Everyone was amazed by the beauty, size, distribution, service, and everything in the Farm. Both barns have amazing light fixtures that just enhance our wonderful night.
We couldn't be happier with our selection of Sycamore Farms for our wedding, it made our wedding one amazing and unforgettable night for everyone. -

Sycamore Farm is a beautiful farm and our guests had an enjoyable time. Some even said it was the best wedding they ever attended. The rain made the day more beautiful and moving the ceremony inside to seat 230 people worked out better than expected! Most importantly, the bride and groom had a "flawless day", as my daughter the bride put it. Holley was so helpful with the rain situation and giving great advice and assistance! Jack was so kind and was a great help as well. I certainly recommend Sycamore Farm for a venue! Ted and Diann are wonderful and so helpful! -

Diann and Ted were quick to respond and open to accommodating what my fiance and I envisioned for our day. The environment was perfect for a combination of easy going and classy. Diann and Ted worked hard to make sure our guests were comfortable and had what they needed, which allowed for my husband and I to relax and enjoy being around our favorite people in the world. -

The owners were great to work with! We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the venue. I would suggest renting the space for two days so that you have plenty of time to decorate and rehearse. Make sure to reserve it well in advance as it books quickly. It was so beautifully decorated and included many extras such as the option to rent tables and chairs directly from the venue. -

Check out the storage room for things that are available. I didn't realize that there were extra Christmas lights available for free in the storage room. I had purchased a lot of lights after Christmas last year that would not have been necessary. They also had a birdcage for cards that I could have used and a few other miscellaneous items.
Great people to work with. One person from our party suggested they should have ceiling fans installed but we had a lovely day and truly there is always a breeze on the hill. -

This was the perfect venue for us, you have a nice outdoors feel without being too rustic. The owners do a fantastic job at making sure everything runs smoothly. We were blessed with great weather, though wind tends to get funneled through the barns with all the doors opened up. -

Sycamore Farm is a beautiful place with wonderful owners who are so nice and extremely helpful! Ted and Diann went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect! They even found a bartender for us at the last minute when our scheduled bartender didn't show up. We couldn't have asked for better service and hospitality!! -

This Venue is perfect for a wedding. The manger was quick to respond with any requirements during the event. They have many items available for last minute needs, such as power cords and additional tables.

The location and physical property was amazing. An outside venue with a barn that opens up so you can get out of the elements if needed and still feel like you're outside - how perfect. The flexibility they gave us to decorate and bring in whatever my daughter envisioned to make her wedding day special was fabulous. They were so wonderful about every request we made. The friendliness of the Locks, and the going over and above to help us even in the clean-up was amazing. It was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. We were all so pleased. -

Sycamore Farm was out DREAM venue. We had no ties to Bloomington, but when we found Sycamore online, we decided we should check it out. From the second we pulled up we both knew our search was over and we HAD to get married there. Ted and Diann were a dream to work with and I couldn't have asked for more attentive, thoughtful, people to help with our big day. The setting is unlike anything in the area and if you are looking for an outdoor venue, look no further! One thing I loved, when we first visited the farm, Diann described it as "our blank canvas to create out perfect wedding with". That is one of the best things about Sycamore. You can take it's natural beauty and do as much or as little decorating to make your storybook wedding dreams come true. -

The owners of Sycamore Farm, Ted and Diann were very personable and helpful. They were flexible with many things and very accomodating. We had several visits to the farm that were spur of the moment and we even changed our date and they worked with us on all of that too.
They even opened up the private patio area of their own home to allow the wedding party to take photos there.They also took their own cute photos of our wedding party, families, decorations and guests which they shared on our Instagram with us! They also mingled with our guests and joined in with helping us with anything we needed.
I had made visits to several barns during my planning stages and they all required different things such as using specific photographer, using on their "approved" list of vendors for alcohol, food, tables, renting this or that, etc. And Sycamore Farm was not like that at all! Ted and Diann really seem to aim to please.
This venue is great for a barn wedding and your guests will be amazed! It has a great heritage and is really an 'urban' barn with all of the things your guests will appreciate. I had a rather large wedding and all of the feedback from my guests have been positive and I have been repeatedly hearing how gorgeous the venus was!
Worth every penny. Take note future brides, this barn is fabulous and completed my fairytale barn wedding. I highly recommend it if it is your dream too! -

Sycamore Farm is the best possible venue someone could choose to hold their event at! My husband and I (and everyone at our wedding) adored the place! The owners are so kind and willing to help you make your day as special as possible! They let me come by as much as I wanted to check the place out before the wedding and did everything they could the day of, to make sure I had what I needed. The venue is timeless and a perfect canvas for every bride to create their perfect day. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a venue, and actually already have been! -

I fell instantly in love with Sycamore Farm Bloomington. After an exhausting search through multiple venues, Dianne and Ted made us feel at home on their beautiful property. I love that they were very flexible with my set up plans, allowing me to make changes up to the last minute. We were allowed to use our preferred vendors, and Dianne was kind enough to give excellent recommendations about local folks who helped us make our wedding the beautiful event that I will remember for the rest of our lives. I would highly recommend a visit to Sycamore Farm to anyone searching for a beautiful location in which to host a dazzling event of any kind. -

Diann and Ted are fantastic to work with! They are so helpful and very involved in the wedding planning process. Their landscaping and grounds are beautiful. They are very accomodating and will let you use various pieces of furniture and decor that they have around their barns and property.

Ted and Diann are competent, creative and lovely business owners and hosts. Joe and I loved our experience at Sycamore Farms so much. Ted and Diann were so open to working with us throughout the whole wedding planning process and answering all our questions. Our guests loved the elegant and yet relaxed atmosphere of the farm. One of the best parts of the experience is that you can decorate the farm however you want or you can use the barn just as it is and it will be beautiful.
We can't recommend Sycamore Farm enough for weddings and special events! -

We used Sycamore Farm for our wedding ceremony and reception, and we could not have asked for a better location for our big day, or for better people to work with!
Ted and Diann, the owners of the farm, created a setting that is a "blank slate" for brides to be as creative as they want with, in order to create a wedding that is unique and fun. However, the barn and the farm are gorgeous, even without additional decoration. Ted and Diann have done a wonderful job with landscaping and with the small touches of lighting and decor that they have added to the barn. We first visited the farm in January. Everything was covered in snow and ice, and was still so beautiful that we knew we had found our venue! Throughout the months of planning, Diann was always available for questions and advice, and she and Ted were always welcoming when we would ask to visit. They were also very helpful in suggesting other vendors that had been to the farm before.
Our guests couldn't stop raving about the farm throughout or wedding day, and even for days after. It was perfect for a fun, laid back event. The barn is open and airy, and there are plenty of places to walk around and relax both inside and outside of the barn. I can't say enough about it, and my husband and I are both hoping someone else we know gets married there so we have an excuse to go back! :) -

We had our wedding at Sycamore Farm Bloomington last weekend and I cannot emphasize enough the unique experience we, and our guests had! The venue is in a renovated horse barn, complete with rustic chandeliers, beautiful cedar walls, gorgeous mood lighting, and a view that is beyond words. If you would like a wedding which has a unique character, outdoor/indoor space, value for money I highly recommend it.
You have the ability to hire whatever vendors you like so you can make your wedding as budget friendly or expensive as you desire. We paid an additional fee to have the venue all day Friday before our wedding and had a decorating party which is a great way to get hyped up for your wedding. Definitely check it out...this is a relatively new space so I expect it to book up fast as word gets around! -

Consider booking a week day - they have great price packages. The farm is just lovely and perfect for weddings. The service includes all chairs and tables AND table cloth/ napkins, plus all the wonderful decorations that are already set up. You hardly need to decorate anything else! We had the perfect wedding! -

We loved everything about this venue. Diann and Ted were so kind and you can really tell they love seeing these events take place on their farm. My only wish was that we had more sun the day of so my guests could have really enjoyed the beauty of the farm. -

Sycamore Farm is absolutely beautiful! Diann and Ted, the owners, were always very responsive and answered emails or calls immediately. They worked with me on any detail that I asked them to help me with. They have done an excellent job keeping this venue tasteful, elegant, well landscaped, flexible with caterers and other vendors, and more. It is a bit pricey depending on your situation, but it was definitely money well spent. I can't say it enough good things about the farm! -

Sycamore Farm was the perfect place to have our wedding! The scenery is breathtaking, the owners are very accommodating, and the location is super easy to find. There are endless opportunities at Sycamore Farm in regards to set up of ceremony and ceremony. Fantastic picture opportunities - too many too count at this location! I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you book your next event here! -

Ted and Diann are the sweetest. This location is everything I dreamed of and more! It was so perfect and they made sure to do all they could to ensure that it was just that for us! I couldn't have picked better people to work with! -

My daughter could not have chosen a more perfect location for her wedding. Sycamore Farm has a beautiful country location just outside the city and easy for guests to find. The two barns with the covered dance floor in between, as well as the option to rent a tent to expand the seating offer enormous flexibility. The owners, Ted and Diann as well as their manager are a pleasure to work with when planning a wedding. They let you decorate in away way you wish and have a ton of supplies on site to make it easy. They are always adding options and I would recommend Sycamore Farm for any get together you might be planning. -

I loved my venue. Diann and Ted are so friendly and an amazing team. The venue is so flexible. They say that the venue can only hold 200 people, but with a tent assed on, we were able to hold 300. At this venue you are also allowed to nail, staple, and screw into the walls and boards which is perfect for any decorations. Since they aren't affiliated with a caterer, I was also free to choose my own food and desserts which was very important to me. -

Beautiful venue with endless possibilities that is very well maintained. Diann, Ted and their team are truly invested in making this a very special space, and were always excited to see what ideas we had for adding a touch of our personality. Our vendors were all thrilled with the level of service and assistance provided here. We had one minor issue with the chair rental price (unexpected increase from quote received months earlier), but they were quick to sort it out for us. Our guests were all very impressed with the setting and the facilities. We chose the venue to accommodate having our dog at the ceremony and reception, but would have chosen it regardless--just beautiful. -

We were so happy with Sycamore Farm! It is a beautiful wedding venue and the owners are so kind. The only downside is the price, especially since they charge extra for chair/table rental. Regardless of the price, I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else. Thank you Diann and Ted! -

We had our wedding at Sycamore Farm on October 3rd this year and it was freezing. Diann & Ted made sure to secure the siding and have heaters out. It was suppose to be an outside ceremony but the weather would not allow it. We had the ceremony inside and it was beyond beautiful. It was truly a beautiful barn wedding -

The venue is beautiful and you can do so many different things with it. We had cornhole outside, a firepit for roasting s'mores, and the breezeway made for a perfect dancefloor with the wind going through to cool guests off. Diann and her husband were so excited and enthusiastic about the whole thing, so fun to work with. I was thrilled with how the evening went and would do it again if I were to start all over. -

The only change I would make to my overall experience would be don't try to show the venue when you have a bride preparing for her wedding and if you are make sure that she knows about it. -
