We asked for a small, but tiered cake for our very small wedding (under 20 people). LaDawn delivered one designed simply (as we requested) with room for us to add the flowers we wanted. The end result was a stunning cake that oh by the way tasted delicious (chocolate and yellow). The chocolate tasted like a Hostess Suzy Q which is a good thing in my book. -

Best cake and price!
I booked Sweets by Ladawn for my wedding on 8/26/22. We opted for cupcakes and a small round cake to cut. My guests raved about the flavors options we had. Lemon cake with blueberry filling, white cake with strawberry filling, and chocolate cake with raspberry filling. All had a delicious white buttercream frosting. My cake to cut was the best- it’s the one they provide samples of at the Cincinnati wedding show. Almond cake with raspberry filling and their white buttercream frosting. The cake was decorated exactly like my vision. From the gold flecks to the flowers and cake topper, it was perfect. Additionally we were able to rent the cupcake stand, she delivered and set up for us. -

LaDawn was absolutely amazing to work with! We were sold by her product the minute we did a taste test. She is easy to work with and took our ideas and made it a reality. The cake was delicious and beautiful. We still get comments about how good it was from out guests months later! She made us forever customers! There is no better cake in the Greater Cincinnati area. My wife who is not a huge cake lover so we had LaDawn great a dessert bar filled with cookies, snickerdoodle bars, smores bars, and lemon bars! everything she makes is amazing. But regardless of the dessert bar, my wife loved her cake! -

It is honestly hard to put into words how incredible Sweets by LaDawn is! We utilized this bakery for our wedding cake and desserts and everything was phenomenal - Our guests were absolutely raving about how delicious every single item was. LaDawn and her team went out of their way to meet dietary restrictions and also incorporate culturally unique food for our wedding. My husband and I also love to stop by the bakery often and load up on treats to enjoy. I cannot recommend Sweets by LaDawn enough! -

Sweets by LaDawn came highly recommended so we knew we had to try it out. It was important to us to support minority owned businesses for our wedding. Ms. LaDawn was a pleasure to work with in helping us design our wedding cake. She was professional, knowledgeable and her cakes were affordable. The tasting were all we needed to sign on the dotted lines. The tastings were huge and we had enough to share with family. All delicious. Our cake was simple and beautiful just as we asked. It was the talk of the night! We highly recommend Sweets by LaDawn bakery for any event.
We wanted a small intimate wedding and Ms. LaDawn was very helpful in making sure we didn’t order too much cake for our small event. We were very nervous going into this process but she reassured us and helped us through the process with grace and good energy. We will be back! -

Kuhn Wedding
LaDawn was super great and friendly to work with. She offers a wide variety of cakes that all taste amazing. We got our tasting cakes and they were so good it was hard to choose one for our wedding. When we did choose the flavor, we had to sit down meeting at her bakery in Cincinnati Ohio and she went over all details about everything we would possibly want for a cake. We brought pictures for references and she made our vision come to life in cake form. Prices are very reasonable and we absolutely loved working with her. Thank you for making our day very special.

We found Dawn at the bridal expo last year, and what a find! Aside from being a fantastic ambassador for her business, she was handing out samples of the most delicious cake we have ever tasted. We signed a contract right then! The cake was absolutely gorgeous, made exactly as we had designed it, delivered timely, set up beautifully, and tasted divine! People raved about it! I cannot recommend her artistic and delicious talent enough! Don't sleep on the white almond cake with raspberry filling. It is one of the best sweets you will EVER eat! -

Met LaDawn at the bridal expo in winter of '22 and was 💯% confident that she was the one for us! She made us feel relaxed,stress-free in what she could provide for us and on our big day we were exuberant at the site of our cake! Well by the time we got to eat the cake all that was left was 2 thin slices due to our guests over-doing it? We definitely will recommend LaDawn to everyone who desires a beautiful, delicious cake and professionalism! -

Mrs LaDawn did our cake for our weddingEverything went smoothly from meeting to decide what type of cake we wanted to having it delivered and setup on time. The cake was exactly how we pictured. Cake and service is fabulous
Ms. Ladawn did such a wonderful job on our wedding cake. The cake was absolutely delicious and our cake was eaten so quickly by guests. We had scheduled a cake tasting with her initially where she allowed us to taste quite a few flavors. And then she did a great job working with us to select our design. I gave her decorative freedom with the flowers and she did a gr at job. Highly recommend. -

Wonderful Wedding Cake
We got our wedding cake from LaDawn for our August wedding last year. We met her at a bridal expo and it was the first cake my husband and I actually agreed on, it was so good we knew right away we found the cake we wanted and the right place to get it from! We met with her to plan it out (and ordered a few extra treats while there because all of her stuff is amazing) and the whole process was very easy, she had everything we needed and worked with us to stay within our budget. Overall it was a great experience and everyone loved the cake when it came to the wedding. Definitely recommend! -
