Worth every penny!

Jake and Anna are fantastic! We wanted a photographer with a dreamy and romantic aesthetic, and they seemed to be the best in the area that fit that description. We were right! We are so blown away every time we review our gallery. They took the time to get as many family photos as possible, and got a lot of candid shots while we were getting ready, laughing together, and on the dance floor. Their attention to detail is great, and they know exactly how to pose you if you're awkward in front of the camera.

Amazing Wedding Photographers!

The Tenneys were the best wedding photographers we could have asked for! Jake and Anna guided us through different poses and location choices and did a great job making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The Tenneys also were so great at catching all of the little moments and details from our wedding day and had a wonderful vision for our photos. Best Vendor We Chose!

Choosing Sweetlife Photography for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! From the very first moment we met Jake at our engagement shoot, we felt completely at ease. He has such a natural ability to make you feel comfortable, confident, and at ease in front of the camera. We sent over some inspo photos for the shoot, and Jake executed our ideas perfectly—he is truly gifted!

On our wedding day, having both Jake and Anna with us was an absolute dream. Fantastic!

Jake and Anna did a phenomenal job with our wedding and engagement photos. From our first meeting, I knew we could trust them with our special day and that they'd capture every important moment--and they did! We've received so many compliments on our beautiful photos. They also go above and beyond: For example, when I started getting sunburned during photos, Anna went and found me sunscreen. Also, it was so nice on the day of to just enjoy taking photos with friends and family and not worrying if they were going to turn out.
We just did what Jake and Anna said and it all turned out amazing! Cannot recommend them enough. Stunning photos and so easy to work with. Thank you, Jake and Anna!

Jake and Anna are an absolute dream team, and they were everything we hoped for and more from our wedding photographers! They were so communicative, responsive, and accommodating at every stage of the process. Plus, they are the kindest people - we always felt so valued as clients and could tell they really cared about us and our wedding day. On our wedding day, they really helped us balance getting all of the photos we wanted while ensuring we could maximize our time celebrating together and with our guests. Best vendor we hired!

As soon as we saw Sweetlife’s portfolio on their website we knew we had to have them as our wedding photographer. During our initial meet and greet call we felt the effort, thoughtfulness, and professionalism that they would bring to every interaction going forward. On the day of our wedding Jake and Anna brought a peaceful and comforting energy, which was much needed on such a highly anticipated day. Anna & Jake are great!

Sweetlife photographed our September wedding and were so wonderful! They took the extra time to scope out the best lighting on property and hand picked locations for our first look and family photos. An amazing deo and even better photos

Jake and Anna were such a spectacular team on and leading up to our wedding day in May. We didn't get to meet them in person before our wedding but it was such a natural introduction due to their diligence leading up. They took a lot of care in getting our timeline nailed perfectly, providing their expertise on how to day usually flows, and getting to know us and the experience we wanted for our special day. Separately, their platforms and systems were SO easy to navigate and you can tell they really thought about the user experience when designing them.

They made us feel like we could truly focus on our day and getting to spend time with our loved ones while also capturing such stunning images to look back on. They were professional and were and divided and conquered flawlessly throughout the evening. Not only did they execute day of, but they also had so many great insights into other vendors they had worked with in the past since they are so experienced and well known in their field. They never made us feel like we were asking too many questions and they were so patient helping us navigate this first time experience!

Although their cost was higher than we budgeted for, it was worth the outcome and photos we got afterwards as well as how they navigated the day and communicated leading up to it. I couldn't recommend them enough if you are looking for an experienced team, with a wealth of knowledge, and beautifully light and warm photos that capture the candor and authenticity from the happiest day of our lives. Jake and Anna are awesome! I loved working with them for our wedding day photos. Jake and Anna are incredible!

Jake and Anna at Sweetlife are phenomenal! It was such a privilege to have them photograph our wedding. Their work is timeless and ethereal - but their care and support goes above and beyond.

I was a 2020 out-of-town bride which made for many unfortunate complications. I was unable to visit the venue before the wedding, so Anna helped me with the planning and organization of the space. I could not have pulled it off without her; her advice and expertise were invaluable. They lead the creation of the coordination timeline as well, which was extremely helpful in the planning stage. I had booked with Sweetlife prior to the lockdowns, and they were so accommodating of us pushing our wedding date not once, but twice. They met with me several times as the vision of our wedding changed over the two years and I am extremely grateful for their patience and flexibility. From two dogs to a new baby, they didn't bat an eye!

And the photos - the photos are AMAZING! We will cherish them for our lifetime. Jake and Anna have a magic touch and are able to capture the emotion and feeling of the day in a wonderful way. They were so fantastic to work with and made every aspect of the process so smooth and easy. They have such a calm and easygoing presence which helped us enjoy our wedding day without the chaos. Knowledgeable, kind, warm, and professional

STOP looking for a photographer and go with Jake and Anna. Like many people planning a wedding, I had zero experience doing so. Jake and Anna were recommended by a friend, and from our first Zoom meeting, I knew they were the only option for us. Jake photographed our engagement pictures and was super flexible with us on dates and location (and in the end, made our windy, 50 degree day in the Gorge look warm and romantic!). Both Jake and Anna's deep knowledge of weddings and the wedding industry helped ease my wedding stress, and both of them have incredible photography skills (we paid to have a second shooter on our wedding day). Between their knowledge, skill, warmth, and professional nature, there will be zero regrets if you choose Jake and Anna as your wedding photographers. The best in business

Our number one priority in preparing for our wedding was booking Jake and Anna to capture our day. We began as fans of their work and we were thrilled to see how they'd photograph our wedding. Leading up to the wedding they were excellent at communicating and planning with. We recommend booking your engagement photos through them too, as it was a preview of how they'd direct and capture the big day.

Flash forward to the wedding and their photos exceeded our expectations. Their calming and professional presence on the day of is the exact energy you want around you and your loved ones. I am not someone who is not well practiced in front of the camera, and Jake and Anna make you feel at ease–something our families noted too.

Hire Jake and Anna- they are amazing!

Where to even begin.. Jake and Anna were the superstars of our wedding!! Choosing a photographer can be challenging because you are also choosing the people you will be spending the majority of your wedding day with. We loved Jake and Anna and we feel so lucky that we chose them. My husband and I are both uncomfortable in front of a camera and they made it comfortable and fun for us and helped us with posing (for every shot!!!). They were so detail oriented and you can definitely see that with each photo they take. I have always thought that I would like only a small percentage of my wedding photos- but i was so wrong!!! I am not embellishing this because of the review but I truly LOVE every single photo we got back (close to 1000). They did such an amazing job and the care and detail they put into every shot shines through in the finished photos. These photos are a treasure to us and I cannot wait to look at them for the rest of our lives. My only advice for working with Jake and Anna is to hire both of them! They worked so well together and it was so nice to have extra hands to help with fixing my dress, or telling me how to pose, and the added bonus of extra photos! If you are considering hiring Jake and Anna- just do it! You will have the best experience and the best photos. They are amazing and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Their work is unlike any other photographer!

Before we even met Jake and Anna, we wanted them to be our wedding photographers. Their style of photography and their eye for beauty is unique - light, timeless, and airy. They sure know how to capture raw emotion and the natural light. From the first meeting with Jake, we were hooked on his passion for his craft. The sheer quality Jake and Anna offer is unlike other photographers. Their eye for detail is incredible! The two immediately put us at ease, and we were overjoyed to have such a dynamic married duo who genuinely loves each other. Role models for a long-lasting marriage!

Jake and Anna helped us work through our timeline, and they were super professional throughout the six months. On wedding day, temperatures were in the mid-40’s and it rained during our first look (but they had reminded us to get clear umbrellas!) – but you would never know with how Jake and Anna captured our day that it had stormed. Incredible and organized team, and I couldn’t recommend them more!

10/10 we recommend Sweetlife!

So I have to admit, I didn't find Sweetlife on my own. We had booked our venue in Cannon Beach and immediately I went looking for a photographer, knowing how difficult it is to get a photographer booked on a Saturday during wedding season. Sweetlife came up as a recommendation and I mass messaged them in addition to a few others. Jake responded super quickly and told us that he and Anna were available on our wedding day and that they had done weddings at our venue before. He attached some pictures from a past wedding for us to get a sample of their work on the Oregon coast. From the second I saw those photos I was hooked - and knew immediately that we had to have Sweetlife as our photographer! When we met virtually with them over Zoom, that solidified it! Jake and Anna are both SO nice, friendly, professional, and such an amazing team to work with. I hadn't worked out a lot of the details of the wedding day and they were super understanding and helpful whenever I had questions.

Like many other couples, we had to not only reschedule our wedding but also our engagement shoot due to COVID - the latter MULTIPLE times as the PNW experienced fun weather such as storms and smoke. We'll always appreciate Sweetlife being so understanding throughout the entire process and for the quick response times.

Neither my husband nor I love getting photographed and so we aren't the most comfortable in front of a camera, but Jake is so easygoing, nice, and good at lightening the mood that it was much less stressful than it could've been for sure! The engagement shoot really paved the way for our wedding day - which was an actual dream come true. Because we had Sweetlife there, our day is now captured beautifully for the rest of our lives. I was in tears when I saw our pictures for the first time. Jake is supremely talented and fit in so naturally among our friends and family that it didn't feel awkward being photographed. The day does truly go by so fast, like everyone says, so we're so happy that he also got some really great pictures of our guests too! We especially loved the romantic first look and sunset pictures he captured.

We were amazed to hear that both Jake and Anna shoot using film during our initial Zoom meeting. The pictures definitely have a quality to them that you don't see with digital pictures anymore.

We recommend Sweetlife in a heartbeat! 10/10 one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

They’re the best!

Jake and Anna were amazing! They were super responsive to all our emails, and we were able to set up a time to talk over Zoom and discuss general plans for our wedding. At the time we contacted them, we had barely gotten a venue booked, much less planned anything substantial. They were very easygoing about it! We got a great timeline that was super detailed once things got closer to the date, and it was really helpful to see when and where everything was happening, in a very easy to read manner.

Also - Jake is one of the most talented photographers we’ve ever met! We just got the pictures from them last week, and they are BEAUTIFUL. He perfectly captured both the people/emotions of the day, as well as the beauty of the scenery around us. We are so thrilled with them. He was easy to work with, and somehow got great pictures while also not being intrusive at all! We will definitely request to work with them again in the future, and 100% recommend them to anyone planning to get married in the PNW.

Experienced, Kind, and Thoughtful!

Jake and Anna were amazing to work with from day 1. My wife and I really appreciated how organized they were. Their experience shined throughout the planning process. Initially they took some time to understand our story, then closer to the wedding they helped us plan for some important details we had initially skipped over.

On the wedding day, Jake worked with both focus and determination to get the best shots. Photos can be awkward, but everything had a free flowing feel to it. My wife and I absolutely love the photos from the wedding and festivities afterwards. Would highly recommend working with Jake and Anna!

The BEST wedding photography team

We worked with Jake & Anna for both our wedding, and our engagement photos, and I have never once looked back. They captured our special day absolutely beautifully, and were a dream to work with, from start to finish. When we were originally choosing a wedding photographer, we actually didn’t know that we wanted film (or some hybrid of) photography. After countless hours of research, we landed on film for its timelessness, and the beautiful color and softness that it brings to photos. We interviewed multiple photographers, but knew immediately after our first meeting that Jake & Anna were “the ones!” They are masters of their craft, producing consistently beautiful photos time and time again, but they are so much more than that. We chose them because we fell in love with their hearts, and their unique passion for encouraging and supporting their couples in their lives and in their marriages.

As you probably know, wedding planning can be an extremely stressful time. For us, this was compounded by the fact that we were planning a wedding during COVID, and I was in medical school. Jake & Anna were the vendors that we never had to worry about. They remained calm, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process. They were extremely organized, easy to communicate with, and made our day better than it would’ve been without them. They’re not just amazing photographers, but just incredible people who we could trust, go to for advice, and who supported us endlessly. Dream Wedding Photographers!

My husband and I booked Sweetlife Photography for our wedding in October 2020. I had previously been apart of a wedding that they photographed and loved how creative and personable they were. I crossed my fingers that they would be available for our big day.... We had a special request as we dreamed of a private ceremony. Whoever we had as our photographers would also serve as our witnesses. Jake and Anna had never served as witnesses so this was a fun new experience for them. I could not have thought of a better couple to not only capture every moment but also sign our wedding certificate.

Jake and Anna were so detailed and responsive with all the planning and flexibility needed due to COVID. They were amazing on our wedding day and I love all of the photos. They captured all of the small details, the venue, and multiple angles of all of the special moments. We also loved the first look pictures and the timeline they were able to create of our ceremony with pictures.

After the ceremony, they joined us at our dinner party for a little while to ensure that we got photos with our guests. They made sure that we had an image of every moment throughout the day! They also were very good about communicating when we could get images, a sneak peek and also have since followed up with social posts and sharing our wedding photos.

If I ever need a photographer for another event or special moment, I will for sure be booking Sweetlife with Jake and Anna!

Fell in love with them and their work years ago!

I was introduced to Jake and Anna a few years back at a wedding I was in and they were the photographers. I instantly loved them, they had such a calming presence and made the bridal party but most importantly the bride and groom have so much fun and let them enjoy their day fully. From that day forward I knew I needed them as our photographers when our day came.
Not only are their photographs beautiful but they are able to capture moments you've always wished to be able to cherish forever. Jake and Anna made us feel so comfortable and at times we didn't even realize they were there! They are the sweetest couple and so amazing to work with. The Perfect PNW Photography Team

My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about Sweetlife Photography. Jake and Anna were both an absolute pleasure to work with. They made us feel incredibly comfortable on our wedding day, and made spending a few hours taking photos really fun!

We unfortunately ended up with a rainy cold day for our wedding, but you would never know it from looking at our photos ! They made outdoor photos work beautifully around a little rain, and we got some adorable umbrella shots. I absolutely LOVE the entire collection of photos we received, and am incredibly happy I can keep these memories for a lifetime.

They had never done a wedding at our venue before, so they went out there a couple weeks beforehand to look for shooting locations, which I really appreciated, and that made the whole day run really smoothly.

They are also incredibly responsive via email, and setup a planning meeting before the big day, so everyone knew exactly what to expect.

They were actually the first vendors that we hired because we loved their film photography style so much, and they provide an excellent recommended vendor list that helped put together the best team for our dream day.

I whole heartedly recommend them, and am so glad that we hired them for our wedding.

This amazing couple team is not only extremely talented, but also incredibly sweet!

In looking for photographers for our wedding, we knew from looking at Jake and Anna’s portfolio that their style was exactly what we were looking for – softer, light-filled, and ethereal. What we found through the process of working with them is that part of what makes them so unique is their use of old film cameras (although they also mix in digital). This produces the beautiful and timeless quality of photos that we fell in love with from the beginning.

We were astounded by the quality of the photos from both our engagement session and our wedding day. Jake and Anna perfectly captured so many special moments, and our families have gotten so much enjoyment out of looking through them and reliving our special day. We have so many favorites that it’s going to be difficult to decide which ones to frame! We feel incredibly lucky to have had this team on board to document our special day. Jake and Anna are just FANTASTIC!

Jake and Anna are such a delight to work with! Not only are they the two most detail oriented photographers we’ve ever worked with, they have the sweetest and kindest personalities! They did a great job outlining our photography timeline and were quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved that while taking our photos, they allowed us be more natural and ourselves rather than super staged in poses. We love how much they care about making things run smoothly and on time. When we got our photos back we couldn’t have been happier! We would definitely recommend any couple using them for their wedding and we will defiantly be using them for any family sessions or maternity sessions when that time comes.

8.17.19 Gorge Wedding

Jake and Anna from Sweetlife are truly a photography dream team!!! We had a destination wedding in Hood River, OR but wanted to take engagement photos in our home city of Chicago so our beloved dog Bootsie could be involved. Jake flew out to Chicago and scoped out incredible locations for our shoot. The engagement photos were incredible as were our wedding photos - literally out of this world!! They also photographed our rehearsal dinner and welcome party - to say they went the extra mile for our weekend is an understatement! They captured our wedding weekend perfectly and I’m so grateful they were a part of our big day.

Wedding Photographers

The most important vendor on our wedding day was our wedding photographers. After much research, we stumbled upon Sweetlife and fell in love with their work. After meeting with Jake, we just knew him and Anna would be our dream team! We had them booked before we even had a wedding date and a location haha! Phenomenal Wedding Photographers - the best in the business

Jake and Anna are absolutely incredible! One of the things that first drew us to them was their ability to shoot natural moments, produce images that capture feeling and emotion, and their gorgeous use of natural light – they did not disappoint! Their work is truly breathtaking and seeing our wedding pictures brings us right back to one of the best days in our lives. I truly cannot say enough great things about Jake and Anna! They are both fantastic people who truly care about the people they work with-- through every step of the way, my (now) husband and I felt like Jake and Anna were there to make our wedding day the best it could be. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Jake and Anna are. It is evident they really believe in love which makes them the perfect people to share love stories. They did both our engagement and wedding photos and we could not have been more pleased. Not only is their work absolutely spectacular, they are two of the best people you will ever meet. Feeling comfortable (aside from the photo quality) was the main aspect we were looking for when choosing our photographers and we definitely found that with Anna and Jake. They helped make our day even more special than it already was and will always have a special place in our hearts!

Jake and Anna were incredibly easy to work with and made the entire process seem a lot less daunting. Jake & Anna were an absolute dream to work with!!
I found Sweetlife Photography via Instagram and I have to say, as I was narrowing down options, I just kept coming back to them because their photos were so beautiful - i never would've guessed i'd pick a fine art photographer but it was the best decision we made! We had narrowed it down to Powers Photography Studios and Sweetlife and although Powers was cheaper, i started to feel like Powers kept throwing in more and more freebies just to get us to book them which became a little too pushy for me. Honestly, the sheer quality of Sweetlife's photos is what kept bringing me back to them and ultimately led us to select them as our photographers.
Communication with them was on point, they were very prompt in responding and were super helpful in providing lots of advice throughout, always very patient and flexible. I also loved that they showed us actual albums, etc as examples to help us select which package we wanted to go with when we first met with them for our initial consultation.
One of the things I really appreciated about Sweetlife is that they’re not just another run of the mill photography studio, booking any couple just to make $$. They really took the time to get to know us as a couple and what kind of ideas we had for the wedding to determine if we’d be a match for them and their style of photography. I also felt like sure, getting 2 photographers dedicated is awesome, but a husband and wife that truly love each other and are so sweet and genuine…completely changed the game. In our engagement session, I was worried my fiancé & I might be awkward taking photos but Jake & Anna totally put us at ease, in the way they talked to each other thru the different shots, but to us as well—Jake being able to talk my fiancé thru different poses or looks from a guy’s POV made such a difference. They’re an incredible team and we are literally in awe at how gorgeous & romantic our photos turned out!!

Jake and Anna truly top the charts when it comes to beautiful, artistic and finely crafted wedding photography. Their work speaks for itself as my husband and I had our hearts set on working with them for our special day before we even met with them! During our initial meeting they asked us about how we met, got to know us as a couple, presented work samples and thoroughly walked through their varied package options all while making recommendations as to what would work best for our overall style and budget - not pressuring us to overcommit to anything!

From our engagement session to wedding day, they were available to lend professional advice and also provided many tips and ideas as to how we could include personal and heartfelt details to our day. In addition, they were able to make the two of us more than comfortable in front of the camera ensuring our photos turned out genuine and relaxed. This was even noted by our bridal party! Jake and Anna were fantastic photographers and I would highly recommend them to anyone. My husband and I did both our engagement photos and wedding with Sweetlife and we are incredibly happy with how the pictures turned out. Both Jake and Anna were very flexible in getting the shots we wanted as well as lending their expert advice whenever we were unsure of something. Whether you are a total novice or expert photographer yourself, you will be happy with the images captured as well as the service from Sweetlife.

If you are having any doubts about Jake or Anna, don't. My wife and I did both our engagement and wedding photos with Sweetlife and we could not be happier. The photos themselves are gorgeous but beyond that, Jake and Anna were extremely helpful in giving advice about all things photography related, they were very fun to work with and were very flexible in getting all the specific shots we wanted on the day of our wedding while making sure the photography didn't get in the way of the "flow" of our day. We will certainly return to them for any future photography.

Jake and Anna at Sweetlife Photography are amazing photographers! They were incredibly flexible in determining dates and times to meet throughout the wedding planning process. I really appreciated how they even provided us with referrals for our other vendors when we were having difficulty deciding who we wanted to work with on our wedding day! On the day of our wedding, schedules and timing went awry at certain times, but they remained open and flexible throughout the whole day! This took a huge level of stress off my shoulders! To top it all off, all the wedding pictures turned out GORGEOUS! They did such a fantastic job capturing all the big moments and all the sweet little moments in between. Hire Jake and Anna! We considered the photography of our wedding to be one of our biggest and most carefully considered investments. Sweetlife photography did not disappoint. Jake and Anna are a great team, professional, considerate and always made us feel comfortable. They were always available when needed via email and helped with suggestion for time lines and locations for photos.
We first met them to do our engagement photos ( a plus as this was included in our package and helped us to have a working relationship with them before the wedding). They are very careful of light levels as we worked and made us feel comfortable while giving slight art instruction and placement for our compositions.
On the wedding day we had Jake and Anna both on site all day. Jake worked with the groomsmen while Anna was with me and the ladies. They seamlessly worked together the rest of the day to catch all our big and small moments. They have a great mix of photographic storytelling: details, artistic, wide shots, couple and more traditional posed photographs. They scouted out the property the day before and whisked us away at the perfect time for our couples portraits. They caught so many beautiful moments that will now be incorporated into our beautiful coffee table book ( this also comes with their package). Best of all we have a disc of all of our photos so we may look at them whenever we choose. Sweetlife photography has beautiful style, are graceful in their work and Jake and Anna are such a great team. Invest with them for your wedding and you will be well taken care of. I highly recommend Sweetlife photography and would work with them again in a minute.

Anna & Jake did an incredible job with our wedding photos. We love every single one! They pay attention and photograph every last detail. It will be great when we have kids we can show them not only the pictures of us and our loved ones but also our centerpieces, cake table, even the special napkins we ordered. They truly work hard to capture the entire day. My fiancé and I were states apart while planning our wedding but the photographers were totally cool with it and through skype we got to meet for the first time. From the moment we met with Jake and Anna of Sweetlife Photography we were taken by their warmth, excitement, and professionalism regarding our wedding details. They patiently walked us through the many different options of wedding photography all while explaining what fit best with our style and budget. We were smitten to find Jake and Anna whom clearly not only held the talents we were looking for, but whom we knew would help create a magical experience on our big day. Ultimately, we chose Jake and Anna for their exceptional skill and ability in capturing authentic moments using natural light, texture, and clean qualities.

Throughout the planning process multiple emails were always answered very promptly, and small details were never forgotten. Perhaps most importantly, due to our venue timeline constraints, Jake and Anna spent hours helping us develop the most pleasant "day-of" timeline so that we could enjoy our special day all while ensuring that each moment was properly captured.

While being photographed we were quickly made to feel comfortable in front of the camera and took joy in watching such a wonderful duo go to work. Picking your photographers is probably one of the most-important vendors for a couple to select. I did not have a large budget for a photographer but picking Jake and Anna was the best decision my husband and I made. First, these two are incredibly talented. My wedding venue was the Benson and when you google pictures of wedding at the Benson most of the pictures are dark and cheesy. Jake and Anna performed wonders, they made a lobby full of dark wood and dark furniture look bright and we love every photo. Second, they are fun and nice people. I didn't realize this during the planning, but your photographers are two people you see the most on your wedding day. I didn't do a first look so I believe technically I spent more time with Anna and Jake than my husband on our wedding day. For this reason, I believe it is important that your photographers be people who you can spend 10+ hours with. My husband and I found them professional, sweet, and very kind- truly couldn't imagine our wedding without them. Finally, during the prep they were very responsive to my emails, phone calls, and texts. I was in school while planning and they were flexible with their schedule in allowing us to meet late in the evening or on weekends. You honestly can't go wrong in selecting them, they are incredible and doubt they will stay affordable for long!

To me, the wedding photos make the wonderful memories of the day last so much longer. To my husband, photography had seemed like a second thought. About Jake and Anna specifically: They are wonderfully enthusiastic people. Their love for each other is entirely apparent in working with them. They harmonize with one another. During our engagement photo shoot, it was such a treat that one was taking the photo while the other was looking for the next great spot. They were in sync the entire time and absolutely enjoyable to work with, providing the perfect balance of providing ideas, spontaneity and freedom to explore. Having Anna and Jake Photograph our Wedding was pure joy and we feel so lucky to have found them. We found Sweetlife Photography through Wedding Wire, after reading several reviews during our search for wedding photographers. We initially reached out via their website and got a prompt response from Anna, who invited us to come meet with her and her husband (and co-photographer), Jake. My husband and I connected with them right away, loved the artistic quality of their photos, and decided to work with them right away. Although we were budget-conscious in planning our wedding, we selected Sweetlife's highest-level package because photography was the main area we did not want to skimp on, and we were extremely confident in Anna and Jake's talent. Jake and Anna were fun, creative and easy to work with from the pre-meeting to engagement pics to the big day to follow-up. They gave direction and photo styling but also gave us the room to be creative and unique as a couple and have our own personalities shine through in the photos. Also being in Seattle trying to plan a Salem wedding, we really appreciated their total flexibility in meeting and photo shoot times. Not to mention, they take incredible photos, and you can't find wedding photo packages that include with 2 highly skilled and awesome photographers who shoot the entire day and really know how to shoot weddings and receptions...without spending your entire savings. Except for Jake and Anna. We also had a very traditional Catholic wedding mass in a church, and it was important to us that our photographers knew the do's and don'ts that come with that, and Jake and Anna were 100% professional with all of it and captured amazing photos of our day. I can't say enough good things about Sweetlife Photography! I used them for my July 2013 wedding in downtown Portland (which I planned from Los Angeles) and they were so sweet and professional through the entire process. Something that I really appreciated (and which you would think would be true of ALL wedding vendors) was how communicative they were. My emails were always responded to quickly and they would actually answer every single one of my questions, without ever making me feel like a Bridezilla about details :) Jake and Anna made me and my picture-phobic husband feel completely at ease on the day of and even my guests were commenting on how awesome our photographers were! Anna & Jake (Sweetlife Photography) exceded our expectations for professional wedding photographers! This dynamic married duo catered perfectly to our needs and different personalities. Both Jake and Anna are extremely warm and friendly and made us feel at ease.

They went above and beyond when it came to taking our Engagement photos! We had such a fun time with them in the snow at Timberline Lodge! We brought our dog as well and they captured our love and light with such elegance. Now, I have never been one to like myself in any photographs, but Anna & Jake made me feel and look so beautiful that I actually loved how I looked in all of them! Something very difficult to accomplish and this is coming from someone who's has members of my family that are professional photographers!

Our wedding day was a fairytale and was the happiest day of our lives and Sweetlife Photography created an environment where we could just be ourselves and they captured all the little moments that were important to us. We are forever grateful for them because now we will always have amazing wedding photos that will be in our family for generations. We had a fairly large summer outdoor wedding in the park near the river and no real set order to our wedding day (since that is both our personalities) and Jake and Anna helped the day run smoothly without any hiccups!

I am over the moon with the service of Sweetlife Photography. Anna and Jake made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera also they helped us with the our posing and made my husband I look like real models according to my friends.

Having both Anna and Jake as our photographers was great. They have a unique perspective and never miss a good moment. This one skill alone allowed them to present us better than we even saw ourselves!

Our signing book is from the engagement shoot that we did in the Winter. They captured perfectly our personality and the Winter spirit we love and hoped to get.

Anna and Jake travelled with us to Maui to shoot our wedding on the beach! They did everything they promised plus so much more. They were with us the whole day from getting dressed till the end of the reception with out any breaks!

I am so happy with the pictures. It's very beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The wedding album turned out better than we had hoped and is truly a piece of artwork in it's beauty.

My husband and I could not be happier that we chose Sweetlife photography for our wedding. Although we had a generous offer from another photographer, the choice was an easy one after reviewing Jake and Anna's beautiful work. I remember telling Anna about our choice - as we looked at the other photographer's work, we saw a record of who was in attendence, what the guests wore, etc. But when looking at Sweetlife's work, we were touched by the emotions of the event - we found ourselves smiling at each and every shot, feeling joy and serenity and believing without a doubt that we were witnessing the clients' happiest day of their lives. The photographs were much more than just a recording of history.

I will confess that Anna is my cousin, so we've obviously known each other for a long time. But I think that even if Anna and Jake were strangers to me, their easy-going, playful teamwork would put any couple at ease. Three months before the wedding, Sweetlife spent over three hours with us taking a beautiful series of 'lifestyle photos' for our engagement. This was incredibly fun, and my husband and I were amazed at the gorgeous results. After that initial photo shoot, we were very confident that our wedding pics would turn out beautifully, and they did.

My husband and I both had never had professional photos taken (well, outside of family portraits as kids), and after working with Anna and Jake we wouldn't want to work with any one else. They are a fabulous team and their photographs are the perfect combination of timeless style and artistic interpretation. I think all Sweetlife clients will be a pleased with Anna and Jake's work as we are!

Anna and Jake were AWESOME! All of the photos were just unbelievable and they captured everything perfectly. Friends and family love the way our wedding album came out and really allows us to look back and remember every aspect of our wedding. If you are looking for a fun, energetic, professional photographers look no further. Thanks again guys!

We were Jake and Anna’s first wedding clients and we couldn’t be happier with the experience of working with them and the beautiful photographs they captured for us. Our experience with Jake and Anna started with our engagement session where they had us sold before even seeing all the wonderful photographs they took. They were so fun to work with and made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera. The day felt more like a fun date than a photo shoot. After seeing the photos, which they edited so quickly for us, we immediately decided to hire them as our wedding photographers.

They seemed to go above and beyond to make all the photographs perfect for our special day, including traveling to Bend, coming to our rehearsal dinner to get a feel for the location and ideas for photos, and spending the whole day capturing our wedding, from getting ready to leaving the reception. It was great to have two photographers as Jake was able to be with the guys and Anna with the girls before the ceremony and to have two very creative people capturing the ceremony and reception.

Soon after the wedding we were given access to hundreds of photos online and then received our own copy of the images on a DVD. We were definitely impressed with the quality of the photographs, the creative editing and the sheer number of wonderful photos they took. We would recommend Sweetlife Photography to anyone looking for high quality, artistic photographs, and photographers who are professional and fun to work with!

I would absolutely recommend Sweetlife Photography for any event! Our photos are wonderful I couldnt have asked for more! Jake and Anna are the cutest married couple and they went above and beyond for us, they met up with us on the their vacation in California to take engagement pictures for us and then made a beautiful and unique photo book of our engagement pictures to use as a guest book at the ceremony!

On the day of the wedding they both met up with us, Anna with the girls and Jake with the boys and took getting ready photos and then stayed with us all day long until we left the reception, they got every shot/angle/event throughtout the day that we could have ever wanted, and I was so impressed by the way the photos turned out.

They posted a link for us to view our photos and for friends and family to view and order all of them and then they sent us a disc with hard copies of the photos as well, we were so impressed with their efficiency in going through and editing so many pictures in such a short amount of time!

No complaints at all, they deserve their 5/5 stars! Fun, professional, flexible, and wonderful photographers! So glad we went with them :)

Jake and Anna of Sweetlife Photography charmed us from the moment we met them - it is so vital to have photographers you enjoy spending time with on your wedding day because they will be by your side for all of your big moments, and these two truly live up to their name by being sweet and fun while maintaining professionalism. We chose Sweetlife Photography for the natural, clean, light quality we admired in their photo galleries, and they did not disappoint - we adore our photos and look forward to displaying them in our home to cherish and enjoy in the years ahead.

We could not have been happier with the service and product we received from Sweetlife Photography. Anna and Jake were very easy to work with, they knew how to put you at ease to capture your best moments and they worked seamlessly in tandem to capture multiple angles and exposures of any given setting and scene.

We were unsure at first if we wanted the engagement session but this turned out to be one of the best recommendations they gave us. It gave us a chance to work with them early on before the "Big Day" and establish a relationship and working trust that allowed the shoot on the day of the wedding to go that much smoother.

The number of comments and compliments we had on the resulting photos from both the engagement shoot (a Winter/Christmas shoot in urban environment) and the wedding day (Beach wedding in Summer) were so gratifying to myself and my bride. We could not have been happier with the results.

Also doing both a Winter and Summer shoots in Urban vs. Outdoors/Beach environment really showed the depth and range for their talents. I know you can safely entrust your day and memories to their talents and lenses.

Perfect Duo Photography Team

We are so glad that we found The Tenneys for our wedding in October 2024. We absolutely loved every interaction with this couple, starting from the initial video call. It gave us the opportunity to see them interact as a couple and as business partners. They helped us feel comfortable in the midst of a busy wedding planning season and were both professional but personable in answering our questions. We immediately knew that despite living in California, we wanted to fly them out to photograph our wedding! The month prior to our wedding, they were timely with email responses, made sure to know and understand the timeline that we created with our wedding planner, and provided clear attention to detail that made us feel at peace. Finally, on our wedding day, it rained (unexpectedly)! They carried on as usual, making both of us feel calm and at peace. Our pictures did not disappoint and they captured all of the hard work that we put into planning our wedding day and reception. We loved how The Tenneys captured the many different moments of the wedding, including our interactions with guests and each other. We highly recommend The Tenneys!
