I was so so happy with the flowers that Sweetleaf Floral brought for our special day. Mara did a great job with what type of look I was going for. The experience overall was great- good communication, showed up on time with everything we would need for bouquets and boutonnières. She also made an amazing display for our ceremony on the fire place at our venue! Would HIGHLY recommend. Also very reasonably priced!! -

Mara's expertise and creativity were evident in every detail, and she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. One of the highlights of working with Mara was her coordination and help of donating the florals after the wedding to a not-for-profit organization. This generous act allowed others to experience the joy and beauty of her creations.

As a bride who also works in the wedding industry, it was important to me that each vendor checked all of the boxes I wanted. Mara not only checked the boxes, but she exceeded my expectations! Each and every detail that was put into her work was professional and timeless. Mara and the Sweetleaf team are ASTOUNDING. The attention to detail was enough to blow me away, but on top of that Mara was absolutely delightful to work with and very responsive. And the flowers were so fresh! I was able to reuse my bouquet 4 days after our wedding for additional pictures and it was still amazingly lively. I cannot recommend her enough! -

Brian and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mara and the Sweetleaf Floral team! Mara is so attentive to detail, took time to hear and understand our creative vision, was mindful of our budget, and absolutely amazed with a fabulous hanging floral installation above our head table! Her communication is so spot on and makes the design process so seamless and stress free. Mara has a wonderful, positive energy which makes the whole experience additionally special. She also had great design ideas to add for our tables, like recommendations on taper candles to complement the florals which we loved! Everything blew us away from her professionalism to the INCREDIBLY beautiful florals! We cannot recommend Mara and the Sweetleaf team enough! Thank you for making our wedding day so magical. -

Mara is an absolute dream to work with! She is the sweetest :) I don't really know much about flowers other than they smell good lol! I knew for sure I wanted lilies in my bouquet but that was it. When she delivered the flowers on the wedding day I was blown away, they were just gorgeous!! She is very knowledgeable and professional. While an unexpected hurricane caused a delay with one our orders, the team last minute improvised and went above and beyond to make sure the ceremony and reception space looked even more beautiful than we could have imagined! Wedding Flowers
Mara with Sweetleaf Floral did such an amazing job with our wedding flowers. She made individual bouquets for both brides that were beautifully made and the colors were perfect. The bridesmaid bouquets, boutineers, and corsages were also incredible - exactly what we wanted. Mara was easy to work with and communicated clearly and frequently with us. Overall, she was kind, communicative, and made the most beautiful flower arrangements. We would highly recommend Mara and Sweetleaf Floral for your wedding flower needs! -

When looking for a florist we wanted someone that could see our vision but stay realistic within our budget and Mara did just that! She was very responsive, organized, and just all around fun to work with! She was super flexible with me especially when I had to reschedule my bridal portraits 3 times due to weather. Mara was amazing to work with! Our daughter was one of the many brides of 2020 that had to change things around. They got married at the lake and had to wait a year for the reception to celebrate with family and friends. We thought we could do the flower arrangements ourselves but learned that it was not going to be as easy as we thought. That's where Mara comes in, we had everything but the flowers and knowledge to do it and she worked her magic!! She was so helpful, professional and wonderful to work with. Mara did a beautiful job with the florals for my micro wedding at Cannon Green! She was very flexible when I changed the floor plan to be more socially distanced and COVID conscious. She created amazing magnolia centerpieces true to my vision that accentuated the southern charm of our wedding! I received so many compliments on my bouquet, it was just what I was looking for and more! She even brought my bouquet to our hotel after she found it left at the venue to make sure it didn't get thrown away. I'm also in Virginia and she made planning a destination wedding very smooth! I cannot say enough about Mara! She went above and beyond my expectations for my wedding florals. Staying on budget was very important to me and Mara was so helpful with creative ways to keep everything in line with that. Mara completely nailed it when I mentioned I wanted some dried elements included in my florals. I cannot stop looking at them in my pictures they are so beautiful! Mara was efficient and easy to work with and her attention to detail was unmatched. I didn't have to worry about a thing since Mara had it all handled, it was so great to work with a vendor I could trust! -

We were scrambling to put together a COVID wedding at Edisto Beach, limited to 20 guests by the beachhouse restrictions, and I felt like the first two Charleston providers we connected with considered us small potatoes, and that it was going to be a bit of an imposition to even prepare arrangements for us to pick up. When we explained we had vintage gold leaf crystal from Amelia's great grandmother we intended to use as small floral vases all around the first floor, and we also wanted loose flowers just to "drop in" to those, we were told it would not be "cohesive," and that we should just buy/rent the florist's standard containers. In contrast, anything we asked of Mara was "absolutely no problem." She could not have been more flexible or accommodating, and the wedding arbor she created on site was absolutely gorgeous. We also believe in going as local as possible, whenever possible, and the fact that she is based in Hollywood made everything so much simpler. I can't believe anybody getting married at Edisto Beach or anywhere south of Charleston would use anybody else. My daughter will probably write a second review, but as mom, I would also second the earlier reviews that she is amazingly affordable. I will try to add a couple of photos but they really won't do it justice. -

Sweetleaf Floral was amazing! They had very quality work and at great prices. I knew I wanted lots of greenery and only white flowers, but do not know much about flowers. I found Mara kind of late in the planning process. I reached out to her for a quote and was blown away with how affordable she was. She is so sweet and very quick to respond to inquiries! I never had to wait for a response from her which as brides know, can be nerve-wracking. Mara made the most beautiful arrangements for our special day. I had original planned to do my flowers myself, but I am beyond glad that I found her. I live out of state, but never felt nervous about having her as my vendor. She made my fantasy florals come true just by looking at pictures I sent, due to the distance. I cannot recommend her enough. -
