The Fairy Godmother of Cakes

Andrea is incredibly talented, kind, and truly a master of her craft! I had a very specific design in mind, but wasn’t sure how it would come to life because I couldn’t fully put into words what we were looking for. From our initial contact, Andrea took all of the little details we wanted and immediately started dreaming up real-life options. She is prompt, professional, and so personable. My jaw was ON THE FLOOR when she arrived with our cake! We just enjoyed more from the freezer with my in-laws last weekend and couldn’t get enough. Andrea’s cakes are a perfect blend of flavor and beauty- you get a stunning cake AND a wonderful taste. We will absolutely be using SweetCakes for future events!

Graduation cake

When planning my daughter’s graduation party I knew I needed an amazing cake. Andrea at SweetCakes bakery was amazing from start to finish. After discussing the ideas I had in mind Andrea designed not one, but two fantastic cakes. They not only looked beautiful, but tasted just as amazing.

Wedding of our dreams!

Andrea was one of the sweetest people from the moment we spoke. I came across her Instagram page after someone I went to college with had posted about their wedding. When I realized how amazing she was with sculpted cakes, I knew I had to reach out to her about a surprise grooms cake. My husband love his Porsches and I wanted to surprise him. Andrea worked with me and my wedding planner to keep everything a secret so we could surprise Rob after the ceremony with a cake reveal. I had not even seen the cake yet. To say the cake was spectacular doesn't even come close to how incredible it was. Not only was it an exact replica of his favorite Porsche, but it had real headlights! Rob and my expression when we saw it was complete awe-struck. In addition, to an amazing grooms cake, Andrea created a small two tier wedding cake that was everything I dreamed of! I recommend SeeetCakes by Andrea to EVERYONE! From her quick response, attention to detail, options for amazing flavors, ability to work with my wedding planner and myself as we did not live local, flexibility, pricing, and phenomenonal skills, she truly helped make our wedding day complete!

AMAZING!! AMAZING!! The best there is!

I can’t express how thankful I am that we went with Andrea With SweetCakes for my wedding cake! It was the most stunning and delicious cake I have ever had, and all of our guests agreed. Andrea was incredibly professional, on top of everything, listened to everything I wanted, and also used her creative design to dream up a cake that was perfect! So many of our guests told us it was the most stunning cake they had ever seen and tasted better than any other cake! We had 3 different cake flavors and all were so fresh! I can’t recommend SweetCakes enough!

Yummy and amazing!

The tasting was above and beyond our expectations! SweetCakes set up a beautiful display and provide TWO smalls cakes for us to taste and TAKE HOME! They both were incredible and we loved the flavor. Andrea had a cake design drawn out and it was perfect, we had no notes. She really knew how to make my wedding vision / mood board come to life. We also could tell Andrea is very involved with the whole process from cake designed to set up at the wedding. I fully trust my cake in her hands. Highly recommend!

Choose SweetCakes!

We were so fortunate to benefit from Andrea and her SweetCakes bakery for our wedding and associated events. She baked yummy, delicious and absolutely gorgeous desserts for my bridesmaids’ luncheon (carrot cake in champagne/dessert bowls); a decadent red velvet cake for our rehearsal dinner; an incredible chocolate ganache replication of my husband’s favorite books for the groom’s cake and an absolutely stunning Baroque-themed wedding cake. Every one of her creations —- and they WERE creations—-were unusually elegant and equally delicious. Believe me when I say guests asked for seconds! And our family and friends are STILL raving about her baked goods one year later! Choose Andrea and I promise you won’t be disappointed. (Just make sure you reserve a piece of each for yourself before it’s all gone!)

Andrea is fabulous!

Andrea is a true artist. She created my wedding cake 20 years ago and has made several cakes for my family over the years. They have all been wonderful - her cakes taste amazing! I love that she uses fresh ingredients - real butter, vanilla, strawberries, etc. She makes her own icings and fillings and fondant and customizes everything to her client's tastes, interests, and color palettes. And she makes many other fabulous desserts too! Every year she sends my family beautifully decorated Christmas cookies, and we absolutely LOVE them. Her professionalism and attention to detail is exceptional.

Andrea is wonderful. She is more expensive then some vendors but her cakes taste better than anyone else. I had several people tell me that our cake was the best wedding cake they EVER had. Not only do they taste good but they look beautiful. Everything is very fresh.

Andrea from Sweetcakes did a fabulous job on our wedding cake and grooms cake. She is extremely creative and takes pride in each and every detail of her cakes. Not only do they look amazing, they are by far the best tasting cakes we've ever had. We recommend Sweetcakes all the time!

Andrea is amazing! She will design and create a beautiful custom one of a kind cake that will "WOW" you, your friends, and your family. I was so overwhelmed with all the many details surronding my wedding and when it came to the cake all I knew was that I wanted something fabulous. I was one of the last of my girl freinds to get married and it was important to me to have something that no one else had had. Sweetcakes gave me piece of mind. She made everything so easy. Andrea really understands the mind of a bride. She is not just a cake designer, she is an artist. I can not tell you how many times I heard how beautiful my cake was. Still when people look at my pictures, they always comment on my cake. If you want to feel totally confident that your cake will look as great as the cakes on the food network then Sweetcakes is the right choice. It is rare that something so beautiful could taste so great but she makes it happen. It was so beautiful, I almost felt bad to eat it. However, after the first bite I got over that. I was really impressed with the quality of her work and attention to detail. She made me feel as if I was her number one bride, like a celebrity!

What a wonderful lady! Andrea Reed from sweet cakes has a gift from God with her ability to transform ideas into phenominal looking cakes! She made our day SO much more special! I hated Fondant from ANYWHERE else! Hers is homemade and AWESOME! The cake was SOOOO GOOD! Officially my fav! We plan on going to her again for our future festivity needs! Thank you SO MUCH for honoring us with that wonderful cake on our wonderful day! Loved IT!

All we have to say is that Sweetcakes made the most phenominal cakes we have ever seen or tasted. Everyone raved at how gorgeous Andrea's work was. I really have never tasted better cake in my life. No one could believe the beautiful detail that she added to our wedding. The cakes were perfect and Andrea is the sweetest person in the world to work with.

SweetCakes was the hit of the wedding! We loved the appearance and the taste of the cake, and the guests couldn't stop talking about it. Andrea is the best. Our wedding cake was delicious and looked amazing. Usually, for wedding cakes, looks come at the expense of taste but not with Andrea. On top of that, she also baked my hubby's birthday cake (an FSU seminole cake and people were just stunned at how good it looked... and couldn't wait to have some). Definitely recommend her. She was profesional, on time... excellent vendor.We had a tasting before the wedding and we just knew we made the right decision hiring her.

I recently got married on 07/24/2010. Andrea Reed from Sweetcakes is wonderful. She made my bridal shower cake in the form of a purse that was phenomenal!!! When I tell you that this cake looked like a real purse and I did not want to eat it, please believe me. She made a wedding cake that was out of this world and designed it as we discussed during our consultation in September 2009. Some people may think that her cost is high, but she is very professional and does work as good as those bakers that you see on T.V. As I always say, you get what you pay for. I will definitely order from her again for other events and would recommend her to anyone who is wanting a cake that is phenomenal.
