Amazing Wedding Cake Bakery!

Arlene with Sweet Weddings was a wonderful vendor to work with. She replied promptly, understood my vision with little help, and had SO many options for the cake, dessert shooters, and cake pops. Meeting her for the cake tasting was a great experience. You could immediately tell she knew what she was doing and would take good care of us. We received many positive remarks on our desserts at the wedding and we were loving the leftovers afterwards!

Delicious cake and friendly!

Arlene was so easy to work with, helping me to schedule a tasting and ultimately creating an amazing wedding cake. She took my inspiration photos and brought them to life! Most importantly, the cake was delicious :)

Simply Amazing!

We cannot thank Arlene and Sweet Weddings enough for making our wedding cakes! From the moment we had our tasting my husband and I knew it was going to be awesome. We had 5 different cakes and each one of them were delicious. I had a vision for the main cake and Arlene made that vision a reality! She is extremely accommodating and easy to work with! I will always get my cakes at Sweet Wedding from here on out!

Above and beyond our high expectations

Sweet Weddings was recommended to us by our wedding planner. From start to finish, Arlene was amazing to work with and made great recommendations. The end result looked amazing. Our only regret was that we didn’t listen to Arlene and order more, since many of our guests were disappointed they couldn’t grab seconds (or thirds). The key lime shooters and cake pops, in particular, were a huge hit! Highly recommended.

Soooooo goooood!

These cakes were the talk of the wedding! So delicious. We did multiple flavors and multiple cakes (too many good flavors to pass up!) and they were just gorgeous and delicious. She even added a sweet touch for us. Arlene is a pleasure to work with too! I got so many compliments about how freaking delicious these cakes were. We also ordered a lot of cake and had tons left over, and a week latter it was still just as delicious as the day of!

The best cake ever!

Arlene with Sweet Weddings is AMAZING. From initial meeting to tasting to our wedding cake, everything was perfect. Arlene is SO nice and has great ideas to help make your cake even better than you could’ve imagined! We absolutely loved our cake and the price was more than reasonable. Did I mention Arlene makes incredible pies too?! Such a great experience with Sweet Weddings.

We are from Pittsburgh and we worked with Arlene via phone by sending pictures of a cake we had in mind. Sweet weddings did not disappoint us at all and the cake was beautiful as well as delicious. The price was also great. We are picky when it comes to a cake and we would recommend Sweet Weddings to anyone.

We chose Sweet Weddings because other couples getting married at our venue were using them - we were not disappointed! Our cake was delicious! We chose vanilla with raspberry filling - we are still receiving compliments! We highly recommend!!!

If you're getting married in St. Augustine, you must get your cake from Arlene and her team at Sweet Weddings. We loved our cake first for its delicious flavor - a rarity for wedding cakes - and the unique dulce de leche filling they offered. We actually decided not to save the top of our cake and ate it a few days after our wedding - we couldn't wait it was that good!!! We also loved our cake for the beautiful decor - we had gotten our hearts set on having small oranges on vines that draped around our cake tiers, and Arlene absolutely delivered. The cake was one of our favorite details from our wedding day and truly helped pull our entire wedding theme together. Thank you!

I am a bride who used Sweet Weddings for the groom’s cake as well as our wedding cake. I cannot say enough good things about Sweet Weddings. The cake designer is talented but also dedicated to ensuring everything goes as planned. Sweet Weddings went above and beyond and “saved” our Groom’s Cake. We had the cake on display at our rehearsal dinner and the restaurant had planned to serve dessert instead of the cake. At the end of the night (nearly midnight), my wedding planner called Sweet Weddings explaining we were in a pinch. Sweet Weddings came to the rescue and did an impromptu pick up for our groom’s cake and stored it in their special humidified room so that the cake would be in pristine condition to display and serve the next night at our wedding. This is a great example of how impressive Sweet Weddings SERVICE is for the customer experience. Sweet Weddings talent for cake design shows in her work – I asked for an exact replication of my fiancé’s Yeti cooler. From his stickers on the cooler down to the type of fish he likes to catch, Sweet Weddings made an uncanny replication and many guests thought it was a REAL COOLER on display. Most importantly, for the guests, the cake was delicious. We are a month out from our wedding and the amount of guests who have asked who made the cake and how delicious it was is in the 100s. For beautiful and delicious cakes … you will not go wrong with Sweet Weddings!

Don't think of getting your cake from anyone else. It was sooo pretty I couldn't believe it- and so delicious! Everyone was blown away. The cake got more pictures than we did!!

Amazing job with our wedding cake, cupcakes, and cake pops! Everyone loved all of the different flavors that we had at our wedding. Our wedding cake was perfect! We did a Nutella filled cake and it was beyond incredible! I would recommend Sweet Weddings to anyone around the area looking for a fantastic company who will put you first and make your special day even more special!

Look no further for the most absolute perfect cake! I had seen a couple of different designs that I loved and this baker found away to beautifully and tactfully incorporate all three into this beautiful design! It was absolutely stunning 6 layered cake. Each layer was a different flavor and had a different flavor icing. So delicious and light. Am exceedingly pleased with how well it came out!

Arlene is so sweet! She was very easy to work with via email. Their poor shop was hit by Hurricane Matthew which didn't allow us to do a cake testing on site but she had an "at home tasting" all packaged and ready for us with every flavor icing they made! Everything tastes even better than they make their cakes look which is perfection. I showed them a picture and they made it look exactly like the picture (if not better) and it tasted amazing, too. We had plenty left over which we were eating the following days. They did both the groom's cake and the wedding cake and both cake out perfectly and tasted amazing. I highly recommend them!

YUMMINESS and beautiful cake and special desserts! You name it, she can make it! Pricing is very reasonable for the taste of the cake. Cupcakes were a hit and sooo good! Creativity, elegance and yet so simple was our cake. She made it look like the most beautiful cake. Love that she worked well with all the other vendors, including the White Room and the florist to make it all come together.

Arlene was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had a small window of planning time before our wedding and working with her was one of the easiest parts! We only had to meet once but it was so fun! She was so friendly and warm and streamlined our process to make it quick and simple. We wanted a small cake to cut and additional desserts and our wedding planner and her schemed up a stunning and delicious dessert buffet! Our guests raved and everything was perfect! The tasting was so much fun and she was so much fun! Book her she knows her sweets and is a pleasure to work with!!!

Sweet Weddings was amazing to work with! We wanted to do a dessert bar for our outdoor cocktail reception at Pena Peck House. Arlene helped us come up with a suggested menu, and also recommended we do a small cake for cutting purposes. We were at first not going to do the small cake but I am so glad we took her advice and did it! The day of I was completely blown away by the dessert table presentation. Arlene even brought along her own stands, and decor to help assist with the table. I wish I could upload the photos for everyone to see, as the presentation was one my favorite details in our wedding. It exceeded every expectation I had above and beyond! We picked the following small desserts: Mini Assorted cupcakes, Vienna Tartlets, Tiramisu Cups, Raspberry Chocolate Ganashe Bars, Assorted gourmet cookies and a single tiered wedding cake. The favorites were the mini-cupcakes and tiramisu cups.

People could not stop talking about how beautiful and delicious our desserts were! Arlene and I dealt mostly via email since my schedule is absolutely hectic, but she made it happen! I am so happy we choose Sweet Weddings! They were so affordable and a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much for the tasty and gorgeous desserts! Can't wait to work with you all again in the future.

She was phenomenal, I switched cake vendors about a week and a half before our wedding. Had trouble getting in touch with the other Vendor. She responded so quickly and was very easy to work with. She made me the cake I had envisioned, It was perfect!! They delivered it as well!!

Arlene is an angel! She is so sweet and easy to work with not to mention talented beyond belief. The tasting was so fun and probably one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. She didn’t rush us, discussed options and offered her professional opinions (things we would never think about). Arlene is patient and very responsive. We ended up doing three different flavor combinations (one per cake tier) and everyone was raving about the cake- its taste and beauty. Arlene also did our wedding favors- Italian Wedding Cookies. These were a hit and so delicious!

Arlene at Sweet Weddings is wonderful! She created a cake that was absolutely exactly what we wanted! When I walked into our daughter's reception and saw the cake, it literally took my breath away! She had taken what we asked for and perfectly delivered - it was a beautiful, exquisite cake. She also provided the groom's cake which was so well done and a thrill to all who saw it at the reception for its uniqueness. Arlene is a warm, caring person and so easy to work with. Her work is professional but delivered with warmth!

Arlene made us a beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding that our guests devoured. We literally only have the top layer left! Arlene is very easy to work with and though very busy, always finds a way to make sure your needs are met. Arlene from Sweet Weddings did a fantastic job on our cake! I have received so many compliments on how delicious it was! I went with vanilla cake with mocha icing, red velvet cake with strawberry icing, and red velvet with cream cheese icing. All were to die for! I would highly recommend!

Arlene is the baker for Sweet Weddings and she is amazing!
I had a specific vision for a design on my cake--one carried out in a traditional Russian style, and she really came through!
Not only did she do a beautiful job, but the cake and the cake pops we ordered were absolutely delicious! All the guests loved it!

The cake was stunning and delicious and Arlene was the nicest and easiest vendor to work with. She also threw in a stunning silver pedestal for my cake without charge. She is truly passionate about cakes and weddings and I had no fear she would deliver...and boy was it delicious!! (Note: I called several other bakers in the area, including Jacksonville...and Arlene had the best price of all too!)

From the beginning, Arlene was very easy to work with and very accommodating. My husband and I met with Arlene and had no idea what we wanted. After browsing a few pictures showing her our colors, we came up with a beautiful sketch. My husband went with me for the tasting and ended up having an opinion on all aspects of the cake. It was beautiful and tasted delicious. Once we made our decision and the sketch was finalized, Arlene handles the rest. The hardest part was narrowing down the flavors. We had chocolate cake &strawberry filling, white cake & keylime filling, white cake & guava, and saved the best for 1 year later chocolate & Chocolate mouse. I cant wait for our Anniversary so we can eat more of this delicious cake. .

Service above and beyond the call of duty! We put Arlene to the test of creating a pumpkin flavored filling and she came up with the most amazing pumpkin spice CAKE that I've ever had. We did it with cream cheese filling and it was outstanding. She did a beautiful job creating a simple and elegant cake for us and helped us make our "backup sheet cake" into our grooms cake by adding a little extra flair and placing something on top of it that we brought from someone else! Arlene and Sweet Weddings are highly recommended by us. Thank you Arlene!

Our cake was absolutely gorgeous! We gave Arlene a base for what we were looking for and left the rest to her creativity. We couldn't have been more pleased. We were able to do each tier in a different flavor (we did carrot cake, vanilla, and chocolate) and all were delicious. She was a pleasure to work with, always very responsive and friendly!

I had an amazing experience working with Arlene from Sweet Weddings for my recent wedding! I didn't do a tasting or anything, just sent Arlene flavor ideas and pictures and she created a masterpiece of a wedding cake that everyone loved. Most incredible deserts and cake presentation I have ever seen! We had and 3 layer cake that was delicious as well as a table full of small deserts. Everything was amazing. The most delicious sweets I have ever had. It was perfect!!!

Choosing a wedding cake was an easy decision after meeting Arlene. The cake we tasted was AMAZING and there was such a great choice. She was so responsive leading up to the wedding and left us feeling very happy and relaxed. At the wedding the cakes were beautiful and it was the thing that ALL guests talked about for days afterwards! A great choice and would recommend to everyone!

All I can say is yummy!!!!! The wedding was just 2 days ago and I already can't wait until the 1st anniversary to eat the top layer. The cake was one of our hardest decisions as a couple. For some reason we just couldn't find a cake we both agreed on. I wanted one style, my bride wanted something totally different. When we finally agreed we found Sweet Weddings. We went and tasted the flavors, frosting's and fillings and gave them a picture of what we wanted. We wanted live flowers on the cake and had a little trouble finding a cake decorator that would use live flowers. Sweet Weddings not only said they could do what we wanted but also worked with our florist for the live flowers. Our cake actually looked better than the picture we provided. I love cake so it was very, very important to me. It could not have turned out any better. The cake was beautiful and it tasted like heaven. I recommend Sweet Weddings for any event. I would also recommend chocolate cake with cream cheese filling, then close your eyes and you will be in heaven.

Both our cake and the groom's cake looked amazing..better than I could have imagined. We chose 3 flavors, all of which were absolutely to die for! Best cake I've ever tasted!

Arlene is fantastic!! From the first day we met her, I was beyond impressed. She is such a friendly and sweet woman who really cares about her brides. Her customer service was second to none! We had no idea what we wanted when we met with her, and she was so helpful and patient with us that within just a few minutes, she helped us find the perfect cake. And the cake itself...oh my gosh...I have never had a wedding cake as delicious as the one Arlene made for us!

My wedding cake was custom made with animal prints and wildlife galore fit for me!! We loved it. They made sheet cake to put out so that my pricing was reasonable for a large wedding! These guys can do it all!

Arlene is one of the sweetest people i have ever met! It only adds to the fact that her cakes are beautiful and delicious! She met with me the first time for our cake tasting and when i couldn't decide she was more than happy to let my mom and i come back for a second tasting. With so many flavors to choose from we selected 4 different flavors for each tear of our cake (with no extra charge). Her cakes are BEAUTIFUL and we were so impressed with our wedding cake. It was everything we hoped for and so much more. She is a pleasure to work with and i promise you won't be disappointed.

Sweet Weddings provided a delicious, beautiful cake for my daughter's wedding! Arlene met with us and sketched out exactly what my daughter wanted. The cake tasting was out of this world! Arlene was so great to work with! We brought our three year old with us to our tasting and she was so great with him! The tasting was incredible! It was hard to pick what we liked best! We had less guests than we originally anticipated and Arlene was happy to make our cake smaller which saved us money in the long run. When the wedding day came the cake looked beautiful and tasted delicious! We've gotten lots of compliments on it! Thank you Arlene!

I ordered my cake from Arlene and I am so glad I did. She was very responsive to all my emails (as I had to plan from out of state) and came up with just the perfect look for the cake that I wanted. The fillings we chose were key-lime and dulce de leche. While I loved the key lime, the dulce de leche was the scene stealer. My guests literally devoured that tier! We have the key lime in our top tier, so I'm still looking forward to eating it in a year! It was so much more beautiful than I could have imagined and absolutely delicious!

Our cake was so beautiful and we got many compliments!! She is very sweet and in the end she makes you feel like family with a hug after every meeting. You can tell she really enjoys her job and has a passion for baking. She is very busy and I recommend she get an assistant of some sort to assist with the phone calls/emails as she is busy baking! She may not respond right away but give her some time- you won't want to miss using her as your baker! We were able to mix flavors with each tier, which gave our guests options! We did strawberry vanilla, chocolate raspberry, and red velvet with cream cheese icing! So good! Highly recommend!

Arlene at Sweet Weddings did our cake and it was amazing! We had an inspiration photo that we loved and showed it to many cake vendors, all commenting how difficult it would be and how expensive as well. Arlene was able to duplicate it spot on. It tasted amazing and our guests raved about it. I want to mention as well that Publix was going to charge us more than here and they couldn't even duplicate the cake like it was in the picture. Too intricate. Arlene is very busy so they can take a while to respond but it was worth the wait. Awesome cake, exceeded our expectations!

I have a very big sweet tooth. When it came to our cake, I knew I was going to want something absolutely delicious. We were originally thinking we would just do a cake, but then we ate some of Arlene’s cake pops and fell in love. They were so decadent and we knew we had to have them. Arlene was very patient as we went through several different options. Thanks Arlene for a beautiful, delicious wedding cake & dessert table!

Our cake turned out beautifully! I want to start out with the fact that my now husband and I got married in St. Augustine on October 8th and yes that was during Hurricane Matthew! Arlene, still got us our beautiful cake even with the last minute new location and time. Not to mention, her shop was flooded!
The only negative thing I have to say and this very minimal in the grand scheme of things, they aren't very responsive to emails.
