Elise is a dream!
I cannot say enough nice things about working with Elise at Sweet Penelope. From our first meeting, she was thoughtful, attentive and thorough in explaining her vision and approach. She has the most impeccable taste and her talent truly knows no bounds. When we added many other items onto a laundry list of deliverables, she handled the task with grace. Every piece of collateral she developed was beautifully manicured and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome of our custom logo, invitation suite and day-of collateral. She truly is such an outstanding talent and we felt lucky to have worked with her! -

Excellent Experience with Elise
Elise from Sweet Penelope was an absolute joy to work with! She guided us through every step of the invitation process with care and creativity, offering thoughtful ideas along the way. The custom crest she designed for us is stunning and will be a beautiful thread throughout our wedding. The invites themselves were incredible—elegant, high-quality, and clearly made with love and attention to detail. We’re so grateful to Elise for making this part of our wedding so special! -

Elise at Sweet Penelope printed our wedding invitations, response cards, and thank you cards, for 200 guests. If I could give her six stars, I would! She makes absolutely beautiful invitations, for a very reasonable price. Furthermore, her customer service is probably the best I’ve ever come across. I had a lot of questions about how to order our cards, because I wanted addresses printed on all the envelopes, and she was extremely helpful, usually responding to my emails within minutes. When I needed more envelopes, she offered to send us them free of charge. Due to a problem at FedEx (which was not Elise’s fault) the cards arrived one day late, which wasn’t a problem at all. However, Elise insisted on giving us a 20% discount. She runs a fabulous business, and I highly recommend her! -

Sweet Penelope worked with me to provide the exquisite custom wedding stationary that I dreamed of. Elise Ho, the owner, was extremely professional and talented. She was able to use my mother's watercolor painting as the base of the invitation, then layer over it with real calligraphy, letterpressed into a beautiful, rich, textured watercolor-like paper. It was not a simple request : So many vendors said "no I cannot do that" - but Elise said yes without ever faltering, and her artistic eye and hand made sure it turned out to be perfect.
I received so many rave reviews as a result I have lost count. The icing on the cake was that her services are extremely reasonable, and she works so hard to meet even the most challenging deadlines without complaining even for a second. I am so impressed by her work - I recommend her 100%.

I highly recommend Elise to anyone who needs wedding stationary. In fact, I did recommend her to a friend of mine, and 4 weeks after I sent my wedding invitation, I received an invitation from her that I recognized as one of Elise's designs! She is professional, prompt, always nice and was always patient with me when I wanted changes. Her designs are beautiful and elegant, yet modern. I had to upgrade my paper to do her graphics justice! I can't wait for everyone to see the rest of the stationary at my wedding.

Elise and Sweet Penelope were fantastic! We used one of her templates but had a few design and formatting changes, which Elise quickly made and even suggested improvements. The invitations, envelopes and the entire suite of products looked great and were inexpensive. We highly recommend Sweet Penelope! -

I have said this before and I will say it again: I wish I had six stars to give Elise of Sweet Penelope. She is the most organized and efficient person I have ever worked with. She creates a gorgeous product, giving you confidence at every step that she will exceed your expectations. She is also amazingly affordable. I would recommend her every day of the week! -

LOVE LOVE LOVE Elise and her amazing work! Our invitations, programs, and personalized stickers for the favor tins were created by her, and the compliments are still rolling in! She kept in excelent contact with me and my mom throughout the process, and was very patient with us and all our last minute changes! Prices are very reasonable, esp for the amazing results! -

Elise was great and was willing to reformat the invitations when I told her I had bought 5 x 7 paper instead of the 11 X 17. I would recommend buying 11 X 17 paper and cut appropriately because my printer wasn't always cooperative with the smaller paper. The invitations looked beautiful, and it was an easy service to use. It was also nice that you could substitute cards--for example, we used the save the date card format for our ceremony/reception directions instead. -

I am so happy with my invitations. And they were much more original and affordable than any others I looked at. I also had my seating and escort cards made through Sweet Penelope and everything turned out beautifully. I highly recommend! -

Elise designed my letterpress invitations, menu, placecards, and seating chart. She was so easy to work with and really captured my vision for our stationary. I received so many compliments on our invitations after they were sent out and I owe that all to her! She was really patient with me when I could not decide on the motif and theme of the stationary and was able to create exactly what I was looking for. I thought she was extremely professional and responsive. We saved a lot of money by having her invitation design letterpressed by Mercurio Brothers. I highly recommend both of these vendors!! -
