Chen was our wedding photographer, and while he was chosen by the wedding company coordinating our wedding we couldn't be happier with the experience! Chen was very professional while also fun. He made the photo session enjoyable and even though we only had an hour, we didn't feel rushed. He made sure all the details in the photos were perfect including the poses and placement of our hands etc. As for the photos, they came out perfect. I would definably work with Sweet Lighting Photography again and HIGHLY recommend!!!!! We couldn't be happier with our experience and photos.

utstanding!!! Chen was absolutely amazing to work with and he created the most incredible story of our wedding and family through the lens of his camera. Chen took the time to look at each person and made adjustments as needed. He paid attention to all the details. Placement of hands, feet, and body positions. Loved the instructions to close the eyes and open on his count, making it easier for our eyes in the sun. He was very pleasant and made us all feel comfortable. My mother said it best when she said “I felt he really captured the love in your and Chris’s eyes”.

Chen was a delight to work with! He was funny and made taking photos so easy. He gave us the freedom to pose how we wanted but neither of us are good at posing and Chen did a wonderful job helping us out. I couldn’t be happier with the pictures he took of us. We were told we would receive the pictures in 2-4 weeks and we received them in less than 1 week! Everything was perfect! Highly recommend him.

Chen went above and beyond to ensure that we had the BEST possible experience. He was flexible with our location and time. Suggested a first look that ended up being our most favorite part of the ceremony. He was able to direct us to where we needed to go and what we needed to do to make the pictures great. We worked with Chen for our intimate beach wedding in Siesta Key. He was very professional and knew the perfect shots to capture on the beach! Since we didn't have guests we were able to spend more time on bride/groom photos. My photos turned out great and he was super fast at turning them around for us! Since I am also pregnant, he even did a photo with our hands in a heart shape on my belly that turned out beautiful! Chen was absolutely a pleasure to work with - I highly recommend!

Chen was our photographer for the wedding and I could not have asked for anything better. He was professional and made the experience fun! My son is seven and I was worried about him cooperating for the photos. Chen worked really well with my son and the photos of him turned out wonderful! The quality of the wedding photos were amazing! I am struggling to figure out which photos to hang on my wall because they are all so gorgeous. Lastly, he responded to my emails in a timely manner and was always professional and kind. We hired Chen for our wedding after seeing his work, hearing about his professional training in photojournalism, and enjoying his warm and easy personality. As part of the package, we had an engagement photo shoot. I can't tell you how THRILLED we are with this decision! Chen's been amazing to work with - super responsive, flexible, fun, and perhaps most importantly SO TALENTED! We just got our photos back from our engagement shoot (earlier than promised!), and we are so in love!! Chen recommended a perfect location and created so many wonderful shots that we literally can't choose which ones are our favorites. Furthermore, neither my fiance nor I like having our picture taken and often feel uncomfortable being posed. But Chen was so great and made the whole session fun rather than uncomfortable! I had to find a photographer a week before the wedding because our previous one fell through and I was so nervous about hiring a new one. Chen made the entire process stress free and he was very kind and accommodating. Chen came to our home and provided us with his portfolio which was amazing to look at. The pictures took my breath away. I sat there imagining what our wedding pictures would look like. The only thing I had to do was talk my husband into spending more than we had planned on our wedding budget. After my husband saw Chen’s work, he trusted that our pictures would be “priceless” compared to what we would be paying in photography services. The day of our wedding, Chen was very organized and assertive. He knew what my “must have” photos were and made sure he took them. I had a large wedding party of 14 and he handled that task like a true professional. Dealing with various personalities, I have no idea how he accomplished what he did, but he did more than what was asked of and made it fun. Throughout the entire wedding, Chen was on point! He was taking pictures of everything and everyone. I did not have to tell him to “come here” because he was already there ready to take a shot. Choosing Sweet Lighting Photography was one of the best decisions we've made of the wedding. Working with someone who is extremely passionate about his work was amazing to see. So far, we have received a “sneak peek” of wedding photos and they are stunning! It’s such a teaser, but we know that it will be worth the wait. If you’re going to budget money on a wedding, don’t go cheap on a photographer like we initially were going to do. You get what your pay for and this investment is definitely something we will NEVER regret. Thank you for an incredible job!

Chen did both our engagement and wedding photos and did an absolutely amazing job! He caught all of our iconic moments, and gave us memories to cherish forever. I can't wait to use him again when we start to grow our family!

Chen shot our wedding on Treasure Island, FL. We had a rain storm, changed from outdoor to indoor ceremony, and pictures in the rain. The pictures all came out amazing (I squealed and I'm not a squealer) and you'd never know it was raining. He was great to work with, helpful with figuring out a timeline and what pictures were important, flexible with our changes, and produced gorgeous shots. My older sister used him several years ago for her wedding and he was an immediate choice for mine. He's not just a photagrapher, he's a storyteller and does an amazing job.

Chen was amazing! He was our photographer for our destination wedding, so it is a little nerve racking working with someone you've never met. He could not have been better! He was super easy to work with and did an amazing job! We received our pictures way sooner than anticipated which was a lovely surprise. I highly recommend Sweet Lighting Photography!!

We booked our wedding through an all inclusive service who then subcontracted Chen to do our photos- and we feel like we hit the jackpot! He is so detail oriented and knows how to make each shot great. He listened when I had photos in mind and checked out all of my inspiration photos to try to get everything I wanted. His turn around time was remarkable too- we had our photos before we even got home from our honeymoon! Great guy, great photographer.

Chen was nothing short of amazing!! He was fun yet professional and very knowledgeable about what would work best for our sunset beach wedding photos. We received a sneak peak within 24 hours and had all of our photos within a couple days. Every single picture we have is beautiful and we plan on utilizing his services next year for family photos when we return!

Chen puts you at ease right away. He communicates well and often with you so that when the big day arrives, you only have to smile. Chen shoots a variety of poses and got our pictures to us ahead of the time he promised.
We will certainly use him again when doing family photo sessions in Tampa!!!

Chen saved us! Our photographer bailed two weeks before our wedding, and what a blessing in disguise! Chen was easy to work with and very creative! Chen was great! He took extra time photographing us when he didn't have to! We have both canded shots and formal pictures with our families. He really payed attention to us and we had a lot of fun! It definitely exceeded our expectations.

Recommend Chen as a photographer 100%! I could never have asked for a better experience, and outcome of the photos. I looked for the longest time before I made the decision on which photographer to choose, and it was without doubt the best outcome. Worth every penny. Amazing photography from Chen. He did a fantastic job of capturing all the key moments of my wedding. He put in a lot of effort into understanding beforehand how things will happen for the ceremony/reception, while giving his valuable suggestions of how to get the most out of the photo shoot. Chen was excellent! Our wedding photos came out gorgeous and we had a great time shooting them. He helped direct us for the best pictures. We were amazed at how clear and well lit our pictures came out for a sunset wedding. He even got some close ups of us during our exchange of vows that we don't know how he took. Chen is the best. We did not have the opportunity to meet before my wedding but Chen over delivered on all levels. He was professional, talented, patient and most of fun to work with. He put everyone at ease which led to the best photos possible. The wind made the shoot a challenge but his pictures are fabulous.

I was looking for a photographer for our wedding out of town. I found Sweet Lighting Photography (Chen) and we couldn't have been more pleased. He really took the time to capture not just our pictures, but our story. He had a super great personality and interacted well with all of us. My son was giving us a hard time in the middle of the pictures (i was getting frustrated) and Chen talked to him and gave him a break. When my son came back he was in a much better mood (invaluable) !!! Our experience with Chen is one I will never forget and the pictures were amazing! I highly recommend him on your special day!

Sweet Lighting Photography did an amazing job for my son's wedding on 10/8/16. They were very patient & accommodating, since the wedding started about 40 minutes late. The photos were available within a week's time & are gorgeous. They did an excellent job with catching different poses & lighting with the sunset behind us.

Chen was hands down the best match for us, we love our amazing wedding photos. It was a great experience and I was nervous because we are certainly NOT models but he told us how to pose & what to do but none of our pictures "look" posed!? I also cannot convey more how great he was working with our crowd of people and children in the wedding. He was very personable & funny but also professional when he needed to be. I would highly recommend using Sweet Lighting Photography to anyone who wants a natural look to your wedding photos, he also got our pictures to us about 2 weeks after the wedding so he was very fast too! Cant say enough good things!

Great to work with. Polite and gets right to work, loved that he even did some close ups of my 4 year old daughter while she was waiting for us to get ready. We planned everything last minute and he was still bale to work with us.
