Beautiful AND Delicious!!

If you're looking for a wedding cake, look no further. We only gave SHA one inspiration pic because we couldn't find a cake we liked better - until we saw the one they made for us!!! I seriously can't believe how beautiful it was and how much thought they put into it. The flowers they used were the ones we had at our wedding! It was the perfect amount of intricacy and simplicity. And the flavor!!! Not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious. We chose a lemon lavender cake and it was excellent. Many of our friends and family complimented how good it was. Seriously - could not be happier. Worth every penny.

Sweet bliss

Our cake turned out gorgeous. I wanted a timeless design and the team at SHA executed my vision exactly as I had envisioned it in my head, with all the florals and organic ruffles! And the flavor we chose (almond apricot) was out of this world! They also provided us a wonderful cookie table (a Pittsburgh tradition) with an assortment of delicious sweets. We’ve gone back to their bakery location in Ann Arbor for birthday cakes every year since.

Simply the Best

I can't thank Sweet Heather Anne enough! From the design process and cake tasting all the way to the final wedding cake, everything ran smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed tasting different flavors and designing our cake together. Sweet Heather Anne seamlessly collaborated with my florist to add flower and a cake topper. We're so excited for our one-year anniversary cake! We chose two flavors and a 4-tiered cake, along with sheet cakes to accommodate the size of our wedding. The service was top-notch and the cake was delicious. I highly recommend Sweet Heather Anne for any wedding or event- 100%!

Stunning wedding cake!

We recently hired Sweet Heather Anne to make our wedding cake and it did not disappoint! From our tasting and design consultation to the wedding day itself, the team at Sweet Heather Anne knocked it out of the park! Not only does their cake taste incredible (try the blood orange olive oil, you won't regret it!), the artistry that went into designing the sugar flower peonies to match my bouquet was stunning! When working with Sweet Heather Anne, you have the option to either keep the top tier of your cake, or she'll bake you a fresh one on your 1 year wedding anniversary. We opted for the latter and are already counting down the days until we can indulge again! We would absolutely recommend Sweet Heather Anne to anyone in the metro-Detroit area looking for a wedding cake that is sure to please!

Delicious Dessert!

Planning a wedding cake with SHA is an experience on its own. Because we were planning our wedding 3 states away, they were extremely communicative as to timing of everything and flexible on when to meet. The tasting and design experience was so cute and it made us feel so special. This was the second cake tasting we had done but it was definitely the best. We got a small mini cake (like 2 inches in diameter I think) of 4 flavors (different cakes and filling). We tried each one, talked about what we liked in each flavor, and then got to see what their full list of flavors are. We then got to talk directly to their designer about what we wanted on our cake. We pulled up samples, explained what we liked and didn’t like, and was able to talk it out on serving sizes too. SHA was incredibly helpful for two very indecisive bride/groom! We hadn’t had our tasting yet for the wedding, and wanted to keep everything on hold until we did so that we could make a final decision after. And they were not pushy at all. They emailed us everything we needed to make an informed decision, and when it was time to proceed, they continued to be super professional and responsive.

PS everyone raved about the cake and the dessert table! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful and delicious!

We absolutely loved working with the Sweet Heather Anne team on our beautiful wedding cake! We came to them with the idea of having a black cake that incorporated elements of our floral design for the wedding, and their creation was even more stunning than we could have imagined. It was also the most delicious cake we had ever tasted, no exaggeration. Run, don't walk to book Sweet Heather Anne!

No other cakes compare...

As soon as we saw Sweet Heather Anne's cakes, we knew there was no one else we could get our wedding cake from. Absolutely outstanding. Their cakes are literal works of art. We love how they incorporate personal details from the wedding into their designs - for us, they piped the lace from my veil onto one of the tiers. Oh, and did we mention that the cakes taste phenomenal as well? Fresh flavors that aren't too sweet.

Sweet Heather Anne is also a dream to work with. From the design process to the finished product, they are super professional, fun, and thoughtful. They even baked a complimentary mini-cake to celebrate our original wedding date with when we had to postpone due to the pandemic.

Custom and Delicious Cake

Worth every penny. From meeting at the beautiful cake shop in Ann Arbor for wedding cake testing to sitting down with Heather Anne to design our actual wedding cake. The experience was one we will never forget. The flavors of cake, the designs, and taste are wonderful. The biggest problem you will have is picking out the flavors you want as you can’t pick all of them. The wedding cake was delivered by the owner and wedding cake maker and it was beautiful…The best around and a top notch experience.

One word: amazing!

Sweet Heather Anne was AMAZING to work with for our wedding cake. We began with a phone consultation followed by a complimentary cake tasting where we had the opportunity to select four cake flavors to try. We selected chocolate salted caramel, chocolate chocolate, lemon damson plum, and strawberry vanilla. On the day of our tasting, we met Heather, who was so professional and kind! She was ready for us with four mini cakes and place settings. She walked us through each cake flavor and served us tasting slices of each. The leftover pieces of the cake we didn't finish we were allowed to bring them home to share with other friends or family members - which was nice! (We ended up having both our families try to get their input). During the tasting, Heather asked us who our vendors were, our colors, style of cake and how we wanted it to look, where our wedding was, how many guests we were planning to have.. and after jotting down her notes, she hand drew exactly the cake I envisioned in my mind! After putting the deposit down on our wedding cake, I emailed Joanna every now and then and she was so friendly and knowledgeable!! We ended up selecting the chocolate salted caramel and the lemon damson plum and both flavors were phenomenal! Sweet Heather Anne gives you the option of saving your top layer for your first anniversary or getting a fresh one made for you on your first anniversary - which is awesome! Brighid delivered our cake the day-of and also decorated our cake with the florals. She did a beautiful job. The cake tasted amazing as well!! We had some cake leftover from the wedding and our close friends and family asked if they could get some! (That's how you know it's a good cake). I would highly highly highly recommend Sweet Heather Anne if you want a vendor whose reliable, professional, delivers high quality (and tasty) product, and makes the cake planning process super easy!

Most Beautiful and Tasty Cake Ever

Working with the team at Sweet Heather Anne was so much fun. All of their cakes are made from local ingredients and contain a variety of flavor options. I never thought we would have such a spectacular wedding cake but once we sat down with Heather, the magic happened. Their team is so talented and pays attention to each detail. They were so easy to work with and really went the extra mile to make things special. We had two flavors of cake and they were delicious. Everyone loved our cake!

Picture perfect wedding cake!!

My wedding cake from Sweet Heather Anne's was amazing! Not only was is beautiful it was absolutely delicious! Prior to the wedding SHAs prepared 4 custom cakes for the cake tasting. We selected our favorite flavor and we couldnt wait for our guest to try it. The cake was everything and more!

Sweet Heather Anne did an AMAZING job with our wedding cake! Since we live in DC, they were very flexible with scheduling time with us. The consultation was a blast, and they did such a great job creating our vision! The cake tasted absolutely amazing, and all of our guests raved about how beautiful and delicious it was! We cannot wait to come back for our anniversary cake next year!

Our cake was a masterpiece, a site to behold and exactly what we wanted: no one would politely turn away a slice on our magical night. It had to be a must-have. Meeting this dynamic duo was a treat from the start. We knew of their commitment to only seasonal, fresh, local and all quality ingredients going into the tasting, but we had no sense of their vast imagination.

They swiftly concepted a design that reflected details from my dress and surprises for my groom, given that he of course would not be seeing my dress in advance. So, that was something amazing to anticipate, along with their tapping into the floral at Planterra Conservatory, our venue, and our palette. The cake literally delighted everyone in attendance. We incorporated two flavors, as well.

Our cake was unforgettable inside and out. Still the subject of the post-wedding chatter (its quality, flavor and gorgeousness of simple mirroring detail). How often do hear this? I'd say nearly never.

We ended up ordering one of Sweet Heather Anne's buttercream cakes for our wedding, and I am so glad we did. It's so worth the hype! My husband is not a huge fan of cakes in general but when he tried their raspberry rose buttercream, he could not stop raving about it. Our family was also blown away by the flavors and simple, sweet decoration. We can't wait to buy another!

If you want a custom wedding cake, that tastes even better than it looks, look no further than Sweet Heather Anne! While they were pricier than other cake studios, it was worth every penny. Heather worked with us to design every detail of our cake and ensure that it was what we wanted. The cake come out even better than I could have imagined. Heather's attention to detail is second to none. She spent so much time meticulously arranging fresh flowers on our cake until it was perfect. What was even better than the actual design, was the cake itself. They have a great variety of flavors to chose from. I was also nervous about having a fondant cake as the ones I had tried previously did not taste great. Sweet Heather Anne puts a layer of buttercream between the cake and fondant, so you don't even notice that the fondant is there. We received so many compliments from our guests on the taste of the cake. We cannot wait to try our 1 year anniversary cake!!

All of the ladies at Sweet Heather Anne are so lovely. Everyone we worked with was extremely helpful and spent lots of time with us making sure our cake was exactly what we were hoping. Heather was so wonderful to work with --she very much helped us come up with a design for the cake that fit perfectly with our vision and the theme of our wedding. The cake itself was absolutely delicious (all of our guests loved it) and it was also so stunning. Everything about it was perfect!

Sweet Heather Anne is amazing. Hands down one of the easiest and most pleasant vendors to work with. They are very responsive to emails, and the tasting experience is so nicely prepared, even my husband was impressed. Our wedding cake was perfection, exactly how we envisioned. We received so many compliments on the cake... it was truly delicious. I am looking forward to our anniversary cake this year ;-) The ingredients are the highest quality and the presentation of the cake is a work of art...

Sweet Heather Anne made our wedding cake and a groom's cake for our wedding in September 2015. First of all, the cakes looked absolutely amazing. The hit of the night was my husband's surprise groom's cake, which she created to make look like a WWE Championship Belt. More importantly, the cakes both tasted amazing. I wish that I would have been able to have more, but I am looking forward to our anniversary cake next year!!

The ladies at Sweet Heather Anne were a true pleasure to work with. I was able to set everything up through email, which was very helpful when planning a wedding and working full time. It was easy to send picture ideas and I always received fast responses. At the taste testing and vision planning we had a great time going over ideas for the cake, and they were so helpful! I was so excited to see the outcome of the cake! On the wedding day when my Groom and I walked into the reception tent I kept saying "I just want to see the cake!" It was a surprise for him so he was excited as well! We went right over to the cake table and were both in complete awe! It was the most amazing cake we had ever seen. It was the perfect surprise for my groom! We didn't want to cut it at all, at least we have the pictures. We were receiving compliments all night over the cake. Everyone was telling us it was the most amazing cake they have ever seen at a wedding and how it was so "us". I am so happy and couldn't thank them enough for making our wedding cake so memorable.

Sweet Heather Anne provided the cake and dessert table for our wedding. The cake was absolutely stunning - better than I could have imagined - and so delicious. We also has macarons and cupcakes, which our guests devoured in no time. We still have family and friends commenting on the macarons being the best dessert they have ever had. The set up of the dessert table was beautiful, and a real focal point of the room. The Sweet Heather Anne team was easy to work with and very responsive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any bride. Just one tip: over-order on the macarons!

Kim was the one who managed all our communications and was incredibly responsive, sweet, and helpful! She made the entire process really simple and worry free. We met with Heather anne during the cake tasting and consult and could tell she really knew what she was doing...had it down to a science. The cake is the best cake I have ever tasted and the flavors are unique, yet still loved by all. We had so many compliments regarding both the taste and look of the cake. They were so beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for! You can't go wrong with sweet heather anne!

Sweet Heather Anne provided a wedding cake and dessert bar for my wedding. Both were absolutely fantastic! The cake was delicious (unlike most wedding cakes I've had) and she did an amazing design. The dessert bar had cupcakes, cookies, and macaroons. Everything was wonderful. Can't recommend enough. Plus she was very responsive and easy to work with.

After doing some research on cake boutiques in the Metro Detroit Area, we stumbled upon Sweet Heather Anne's. We started by doing a cake tasting with the team and a meet and greet. After the cake testing, we designed a cake which would fit our wedding. Working with Heather, Claudia and Kim was an absolute pleasure. They were quick to respond to any concerns we had and made the experience fun and stress free. The product itself is absolutely fabulous, I don't think you will find a better shop in the state. The cake was perfect, everything we imagined and more. We also had a dessert table at our wedding which included cookies, cake truffles and macaroons. All of our guests were raving about how excellent the desserts were. Not only did everything taste great but the presentation was elegant. If you have any doubts, take a look at their portfolio and pop in to introduce yourself. I wouldn't go anywhere else, highly recommend!

Sweet Heather Anne designed a delicious cake for us. Our cake was a 3 tiered cake that served about 75 people. They designed a beautiful cake, simple and elegant with a fresh floral arrangement. The cake was delicious (salted caramel and strawberry). For our one year anniversary they are giving us a complimentary anniversary cake in the flavor we choose. I would recommend Sweet Heather Anne to anyone.

Claudia delivered my son's wedding cake precisely on time and offered (enthusiastically) to transfer it to our vintage cake plate. Before she left the venue, she offered her services again with another cake we needed to have transferred to a pedestal. She was extremely professional and accommodating and so calm in the sea of confusion before the ceremony. I truly appreciated her kindness and skillful help. The cake was beautiful and the compliments were evident by the number of pictures the guests were taking of it. But the flavor! O-M-G! Delightful and heavenly. Words cannot express how much I loved working with the SHA ladies... From working with Abbie, to Kim, to Heather herself... My experience was out of this world. I adored my cake, cupcakes, and cute scalloped cookies (plus our cute Michigan mitten cookies). Our dessert table was modest and adorable. I cannot thank the ladies enough for our delicious treats and for their creative energy. Everyone was kind and incredible "sweet" ... I want to get married all over again so that I can work with them again and again and again.. I LOVE SWEET HEATHER ANNE!!!!

Our cake was incredible. Not only was it delicious (lemon raspberry) but they also did an amazing custom design with accents from our wedding invitations. It was a bit pricey, but worth every penny!! I am excited to return for our anniversary and receive a replica our top tier for free :)

Very professional and easy to work with. The wedding cake was so beautiful and looked exactly like I pictured in my head. What was better is that the taste was axing. Everyone went on and on about how that was the best cake they had ever eaten. I would definitely recommend them again. Claudia and Abby were absolute dolls and took the stress of planning down a million times.

Sweet Heather Anne's team was able to take the picture perfect wedding cake in my head and bring it into the physical. Heather Anne was very easy to work with and make the wedding cake experience fun/exciting! Our guests have talked non-stop about how delicious the cake was - it was perfect! I know we live in a time where money is tight, but Heather Anne's desserts are definitely worth every penny!

Sweet Heater Anne's staff was great. Very warm and inviting in a stressful time. Very creative. Worked well with a tight budget. Got married in September of 2012 and people are still talking about how good and unique the cake and cupcakes were.

I came in with a photo of a cake i saw on Pinterest and they did an amazing job replicating it. It was gorgeous. And the french macaroons (favors) were legendary. My Dad ate all the extras.

Sweet Heather Anne honestly went above and beyond my expectations. I simply described what I wanted in a cake. Heather made a sketch based upon what we discussed and, there was my wedding cake. That's it! Even the tasting was done in such a beautiful and enjoyable manner. They even allowed me to use fresh strawberries (something that wasn't even offered in their listing of cake choices). They were phenomenal and I recommend them 100x over. Thanks again!

My cake was AMAZING!!! Sweet Heather Anne made the middle layer look exactly like my wedding dress, down to the dusty gold shimmer embedded in the material. I chose the lemon raspberry and Mexican spiced chocolate flavors... everyone loved both! I will be using this company for the next big event.

Sweet Heather Anne's was absolutely amazing! Not only did I use them to design my dessert table at my wedding but I had my cookies for my bridal shower done by them as well! I have never received so many compliments regarding all the desserts and the beautiful design that they provide for the table! Throughout the whole process Rachel reassured me in everything that we were doing and the creative talents of Heather are simply amazing! I cannot wait to taste the cake again! These girls were so great with helping us get our wedding cake. The cakes were so delicious and their icing is so creamy it melts in your mouth. Not only did they provide little mini cakes (not cupcakes) for our tasting, but they also did a beautiful job making the cake look exactly like we wanted it. When we got to the reception, the cake was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with. I found their prices were very reasonable for the quality and care that Heather and Rachel put into their work. We plan to order a small cake every year on our anniversary from them! Thank you!

Heather and Rachel were amazing to work with. Everyone took pictures of our awesome cake and the unique flavor we had for our wedding cake was WOW. It was not only great to look at but tasted even better, I don't think there was even a crumb leftover. Couldn't of asked for a better experience. Highly highly recommend them.

Sweet Heather Anne provided my wedding cake for a wedding reception of about 100 people. The cake was so fantastic, that I am still getting compliments about the cake after almost two months! Heather was wonderful to work with and arranged a great cake tasting where we got to take home the leftover cake! The ingredients used in the cake are high quality and REAL, not the artificial crap I found in all of the other places I looked at before coming here. The pricing is more expensive than the others I looked at but well worth the quality difference. I highly recommend Sweet Heather Anne's yummy cakes. Heather, it was a pleasure working with you.

Delicious!! We chose the mexican spice chocolate, patel d'elote (a corn cake), and the apricot ginger cupcakes. Everyone loved the cupcakes. For our head table we went with one of each flavor in a tasting cake size - which was perfect! And that provided the cake we cut during the obligatory "cake cutting"... all worked out wonderfully! I would get her cakes/cupcakes again in a heartbeat!

Heather responded to my initial email promptly, and when we met with her, she was very sweet and even had a cookie set out for my 3yr old son when we had our tasting. Our tasting was a great experience, she has a lovely tasting area and makes everything special for you. She asked me some questions about what I was thinking for a cake, and I showed her a picture of an idea and she immediately sketched out something which was what we went with. The cake was wonderful, and everyone loved it. I would use her again for another event, highly recommend!

Highly Recommended!!! Sweet Heather Anne created a 3D sculptured castle cake (replica of the Castle at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, MI) plus two additional sheet cakes for my son's wedding reception in June of 2011. All our guests were amazed at the accuracy of the sculptured cake. This cake was ordered, on extremely short notice (because the couple eloped), via e-mail conversations, sight unseen and without a taste test. They also delivered it at the time I requested. There was a delivery fee of course, but it was well worth it because we are about an hour's drive away from their location. Sweet Heather Anne offered many suggestions to help me stay within a limited budget as well. All of the cakes were white wedding cake layered with Strawberry buttercream filling. The ENTIRE castle cake including the fondant was completely edible and all three cakes were very moist and delicious!!! Thank you Sweet Heather Anne!

Working with Sweet Heather Anne was such a delight. She was super flexible and willing to do whatever it took to accommodate all my dessert wishes...all within my budget! Her cakes and desserts taste amazing and look like a true work of art. I'm really happy that I didn't have to choose one or the other- look or taste- because they were able to provide both at the highest quality! Heather was more than happy to collaborate with me on the look of my dessert table. We combined cake stands and decorative items, and I trusted her with the rest. The look of my table was something truly beyond my dreams and I could not have been more elated with the results! I was incredibly impressed with Sweet Heather Anne! Heather and her assistant were INCREDIBLY pleasant to work with! Every time I contacted them with the millions of questions I had, I was well received and got all the answers I was looking for in a timely manner. Sweet Heather Anne was very accommodating to all my requests. From start to finish Sweet Heather Anne delivered all that they promised. I'm a customer for life! The desserts were so delicious and a huge hit at my wedding. We also ordered a mini two-tiered cake that was AMAZING! Typically you save the top layer for the first anniversary....oops! The cake was so delicious (lemon/raspberry), that we ate it on the first night back from our honeymoon. I have already planned on ordering another cake for my first anniversary...and every year after! After recently getting married, I now have the privilege to throw my best friend a bridal shower! She deserves the best and in order to ensure she gets the best I'm ordering ALL desserts from Sweet Heather Anne. Not only has this company mastered baked goods, but they too have mastered the art of communication with their clients! Heather went above and beyond to help make our wedding fabulous! Although she normally does tasty cakes, she was willing to work with our idea for an order of 600+ mini-cupcakes in three flavors. She even volunteered (and at no extra charge!) to create a custom mirrored display piece and do the on-table arrangement. The cupcakes were delivered on-time and were delicious! We received tons of compliments on the originality of cupcakes (instead of traditional wedding cake), how beautifully they were displayed, and how incredibly tasty they were. Thanks, Heather! There are not enough positive things to say about about Sweet Heather Anne. I was initially excited by her creativity and talent, and by her endless ideas to build the perfect cakes/desserts for my offbeat vintage wedding. Her cakes almost stole the show!

The experience was delightful, and her organization and professionalism makes it very easy.

As if looks aren't everything, the flavor and quality of SHAs cakes are worthy of their aesthetic. I have yet to eat something as delicious.

Heather did a gorgeous job on our wedding cakes and cookies. First and foremost, her desserts are delicious and beautiful. She took the time to get a feel for our wedding, working with the florist and asking questions to make sure she really understood what we were going for. Heather did above and beyond anything I could have imagined for my wedding cake. She gathered information about my interests, personality, the wedding dress, wedding theme, etc. and from that made my wedding cake. Heather designed and produced an absolutely gorgeous and completely delicious cake table for my outdoor summer wedding last August. I'm still getting compliments from guests months later!

From my initial inquiry to execution, Heather was such a pleasure to work with. Heather worked with me to come up with a plan that would fit within my budget, providing me with options and creative ideas. Our cake tasting was a real treat of an experience in and of itself - we arrived to find a lovely table with miniature creations set of out for us. They were all so delicious, we had a really hard time deciding! Heather gave us the left overs and we enjoyed them all weekend, finally narrowing down to 2 flavors. Heather also really put in the effort to understand my style and that of the wedding, and she hit the nail on the head - the presentation was elegant, natural, outdoorsy, creative and just plain beautiful. Heather came up with the fantastic idea of setting up multiple cakes on ceramic display trays of different colors and also integrating vintage scales and metal flower planters as some of the cake trays to artistically integrate the table with the apple orchard surroundings. She added labels to describe each and attached them to radishes, and covered some cakes in wildflowers. It was beautiful.

Cake quality is very important to me. I tasted those at some of the other "in" places around town. They were good, but Heather's cakes were by far my favorite. The tres leches was especially mind blowing - we'd never before tried anything like it, and with praline crunch and sea salt on top it was unreal.

I definitely recommend Heather without any doubt, and will go straight back to her for any future cake needs. Heather delivered an easy, efficient and enjoyable vendor experience, and an out of the park result. 5 stars plus!

Delicious modern classic wedding cake!

Sweet Heather Anne is actually the most delicious wedding cake you will ever eat! And (more importantly to brides), they were so easy to work with from our first meeting. We met and they sketched the design for our cake, then got to taste 4 flavors, and we had thorough communication throughout the planning process to make the big day stress free. We ended up having less guests last minute and they were able to work with our changes in the week or two before the wedding. They independently talked with my vendor and florist to make it a smooth process. We had chocolate salted caramel and lemon raspberry... would recommend!

I made a surprise classic car cake for my groom. He is very detail oriented, so I was nervous for the cake. However, it turned out PERFECT. We absolutely loved it and all the guests gushed about how awesome it was. My only issue was cutting it!

Sweet Heather Anne makes amazing wedding cakes. Although it is true that they are a little on the pricier side, it was well worth it to us as we wanted a cake that looked beautiful and tasted great. We had four tiers and chose to go with alternating flavors - lemon raspberry and Mexican spiced chocolate. Both flavors were delicious (our guests loved both flavors too, but we definitely got a lot more compliments on the Mexican spiced chocolate as many guests had never had something like it before). The design was also beautiful. Claudia did a great job of coming up with different design options despite the fact that we didn't come in with much guidance on what we wanted. Overall, we were extremely pleased and will definitely to use them in the future for other events!

SHA is THE place to order desserts for any event! SHA provided a gorgeous dessert table for our wedding. Not only was the display thoughtful and beautiful, every thing on it was delicious and we blew through all of our goodies in minutes. Further, while the finished product was amazing, my experience leading up to the wedding with SHA was wonderful. Rachel (the business manager) was a dream to work with. Sweet Heather Ann created a *beautiful* cake for us. This vendor worked with us extensively to create a gorgeous cake that we were thrilled to have at our wedding! They catered to our design wishes in such a way that allowed us to express our own style while also able to input their own design decisions to make a stellar creation. Responsiveness was very quick given that they were in the middle of a full move to a different building. Their cakes are fairly pricey even by wedding cake standards, but you're getting what you pay for if you're looking for non-traditional wedding cakes. We highly recommend them!

Sweet Heather Anne was amazing to work with! I was okay with settling on a boring wedding cake until I worked with the staff at Sweet Heather Anne and realized what I could have for my wedding. Talk about a dream come true! Not only was I able to get everything I wanted and more but the dessert table become more than just a table, it was part of the wedding! The table embodied my colors, ideas and my theme of vintage elegance. I absolutely LOVED the English Fascinator on top of the cake!! The staff a Sweet Heather Anne listened and created a personalize dessert table for me that I will remember for the rest of my life. Not only are the cakes, cookies and cupcake BEAUTIFUL they taste amazing too! I would HIGHLY recommend Sweet Heather Anne for any special occasion, wedding and party!

SHA's cakes are amazingly delicious, the best I've ever had. She is a very talented designer, but has her own style which you'll want to make sure aligns with your own vision. Such quality does come at a price, though, and on our budget we could only afford a very small cake. So she may not be ideal for a tight budget, but if you can afford her, you should absolutely use her.

We were impressed by our tasting with Sweet Heather Anne and immediately wrote a check to secure their services for our wedding. They were responsive and easy to communicate with, and we felt that we would be in good hands. On our wedding day, we were satisfied with the appearance of the cake, and Sweet Heather Anne did a good job of decorating the cake on-site with the flowers provided by the florist. However, we had paid for two different flavors of sheet cake to be served to guests. Unfortunately, only one flavor was provided. We contacted Sweet Heather Anne about this after our wedding and they were not very apologetic, stating that it was a busy weekend for them. They did refund us some of the money, but we believed - and told them - that we should receive back the money we paid for the cake that was supposed to be a different flavor, though they did not agree. We felt that their response was unprofessional, as it isn't the fault of the client if a company has made the choice to overbook themselves. It seemed as if they were trying to make us feel bad for bringing this issue to their attention. We understand that mistakes do happen, but they could have done a much better job of remedying the situation.

As a side note, we also felt that the cakes we received were not as tasty as those we had tried at the tasting, which were delicious. Honestly, I have had better cake from Costco. We were happy with the service we received from Sweet Heather Anne up until the wedding, but we felt that they really dropped the ball with their lack of professionalism. They clearly do beautiful work, but I would be hesitant to recommend their service to others.

I had such high hopes for sweet heather anne's especially when it comes to a cake with a $2,000 plus price tag. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. I had a white, ivory, and blush cake with stenciled damask pattern tiers, that you could not even see because the blush color was so light you hardly could even tell it was pink. But that wasn't even the bad part. My cake was supposed to have a lot of sugar flowers to accent it. and these were supposed to be ivory and blush, I even sent a picture of what I wanted them to look like. I did NOT get these flowers.. in fact, I didn't even get those color flowers....I got some rusty orange colored flowers.... (THAT COLOR WAS NO WHERE IN MY WEDDING!!! so I have no idea where they came up with that!! nor was it in ANY pictures I sent them) I did notice however that they had another wedding on the same day as mine, and that bride actually had the same name as me......and she got the beautifully done flower covered cake I paid for!!! I highly suggest that you do not use this vendor!! they were so nice during the meetings that I had no reason to doubt them....I was highly mistaken and yes they make beautiful cakes, but they did not give me the show stopper cake they sold me and talked up so much during our consultations..... I advise you keep looking and do not use this vendor.

Very highly disappointed. After all the details that were discussed, shared and the amount of money we spent, the cake was awful. Got the color wrong, the design wrong, delivered it late, it was crooked. Took no interest in our happiness. Abbey was so fake. The designer didn't care.They put a cardboard in the middle of the layers so when we tried to cut the cake during our ceremony while everyone was watching, the cardboard blocked the knife! So embarassing. These people have a lot to learn. I would not recommend them to anyone, they try to put up a fake front, over promise and under deliver.
