Getaway car

Working with Glenn was so easy and we had a fantastic ride in Mac to our hotel. It was a breeze booking the getaway car and Glenn was always very responsive. He also gifted us sparkling wine with a nice note and some flowers, which was so thoughtful. We definitely recommend Sweet Glide Vintage Rides!

Incredible wedding getaway experience!

Glenn was a pleasure to work with and the car was incredible!! We were lucky to ride in the back of the Cadillac which was so spacious and the ride was so smooth! The car ride and services Glenn provided was the perfect time to wind down from the craziness of our wedding day. We cannot recommend Sweet Glide enough!

Perfect getaway!

Our Wedding Getaway

We rented Vinny as our getaway car for our wedding with Glenn chauffeuring. Glenn and Vinny were fantastic and the perfect ending to our day. Glenn is professional and extremely welcoming and kind, while Vinny was in immaculate shape. Highly recommend

A Magical Ride

I would highly recommend using this service for your wedding getaway car! Glenn was a pleasure to chat with on our ride to our hotel. Since we got married in December, it was decorated with holiday lights and a Christmas wreath. What a fun way to end a magical night!

We loved Sweet Glide Vintage Rides!!!!

We loved our experience with Sweet Glide Vintage Rides!! Glenn, the owner and driver, was so kind and we loved getting to know him. Our vintage red Jeepster made for the coolest getaway from our wedding reception! It was a wonderful ride with champagne, flowers, and good company and I would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a vintage ride to make their exit from an event!!

Glenn was absolutely amazing! Having Mac out front on display for all of our wedding guest to take pictures with upon arrival was amazing! He was so responsive and took amazing care of us. I would recommend anyone use him if possible. He made our getaway and truly magical and it was the perfect end of the wedding and start of our honeymoon.

Getaway wedding car

We had a great experience renting from Glenn! He was so helpful and answered messages promptly. He also was so kind to return something to our hotel that had been left in the car. Having a vintage car take us from the church to the reception and then again as our going away car really added something extra special to our day! The Madeleine car is immaculate and Glenn so professional. Originally, we didn't think a classic car would fit in our budget, but then I found Sweet Glide Vintage Ride through Instagram and the prices were much more reasonable! It was absolutely worth it and I would recommend to anyone in search of a classic car, or anyone on the fence about whether to rent or not. Do it! It's so special!

We hired Glenn to drive our son and his bride home from their wedding in his vintage car. Glenn arrived early. The car is beautiful. He had it decorated and had a flower and champagne for them. He even had a soft fur blanket in the back which was very appreciated by my daughter-in-law. His prices are by far the most reasonable, but it is not because his vintage car is not up to par---it really is beautiful! Thanks Glenn!

Glenn was gracious enough to be a part of our Christmas Parade entry for the cast of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: LIVE. He arrived on time to the staging area, was dressed period perfect for the vehicle (and our show). He even took the time to add a wreath to the front of the vehicle. Glenn and Sweet Glide Vintage Ride were GREAT! My wife and I looked all over for a vintage limo ride as a get away from our wedding only to find astronomical prices. Then, we came across Sweet Glide. My wife and I were very impressed with the timely response and quote that we received and even more impressed with the '39 Buick. My husband and I were so lucky that my parents found Sweet Glide Vintage Ride just a couple weeks before our wedding. I wanted something unique that would match the beauty of our wedding venue and this car was it! There are a lot of vintage cars working weddings around Birmingham, but none look like Chiffon. The pale yellow makes the car a real standout! From start to finish, Glenn handled our arrangements with kindness and professionalism and I would highly recommend working with him.
When we left our wedding venue and boarded the car, we were greeted with a bottle of champagne and a rose! The interior was large, comfortable, and very clean. Everything was great! I can't say enough about how pleased I am!

We thought we were not able to use the service due to the car we originally requested being wrecked but Glenn was able to find nearly the same car just weeks before the wedding. The car was clean inside and out, the only thing I would suggest is a car freshener and sweet, soft music to be played as the couples enjoy the ride. Due to the car being vintage, it has trouble cranking up in the beginning but Glenn was eventually able to make it work, we received wine after the ride and water was offered during the ride. Great experience.
