Affordable and Friendly

The drop-off/pick-up was handled by our venue so I can't speak much to that, but I appreciated her selection, prices, and responsiveness. I would absolutely use this service again for any events in the area.

July 2023 wedding

Wendy at Sweet Buffet Lady was super helpful when we rented from her. She has a huge selection of, and she’s quick to respond. She made a last minute switch for us that made our wedding run a little smoother. And it was so nice not having to deal with the rentals after the wedding. Way better prices and other rental companies with great customer service!

Beautiful rentals at great prices!

Oh my gosh we are so glad we found Sweet Buffet Lady! We thought we were going to have to go with not-so-cute disposable dinnerware to keep costs down until we went to the SBL showroom and found plates, silverware, glasses, and linens that we loved in a totally affordable price. There are so many options for every wedding vibe and color scheme. Highly recommend!

Easy Experience

Had an amazing time working with Sweet Buffet Lady rentals for my wedding recently. Wendy was quick and responsive to any email communication regarding adding items to our event. pick up was a breeze and all items were in great condition. could not recommend them more!

A Family Business with Friendly, Professional Service

We discovered The Sweet Buffet Lady through the Snohomish venue where my daughter and son in law were married. During our initial planning it was very helpful to visit their showroom location where we were able to create table settings to compare linen colors and assess the options for plates, cutlery and glassware.

SBL’s rental prices are quite good and I always received friendly, timely replies to e-mailed questions during our planning process, which began in 2019 (!). We very much appreciated their flexibility as we navigated rescheduling due to Covid concerns. A couple of small issues were discovered the morning of our event, though SBL was quick to resolve our concerns. We would highly recommend checking them out when considering rentals for your event.

Fantastic!

I rescheduled my wedding 3 times in the last 2 years and Sweet Buffet Lady went above and beyond to accommodate date changes as well as many rental item changes as we got closer to the date. Pickup and drop off were a breeze and the quality and value of the items were top notch. Highly recommend!

Best place for rentals in the area!

I doubt I'll go anywhere else ever again for event rentals because I have been spoiled by Sweet Buffet Lady. This is a professional and well-organized service that provides every option for decor you can think of! We used them for our wedding and rehearsal dinner and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Our venues looked beautiful and they were so efficient and easy to work with! Definitely recommend!

Sweet Buffet Lady

Sweet buffet Lady is a full-service rental place located in Monroe Washington. We were referred to SBL from Green Gates at Flowing Lake. They have everything you need for a wedding and prices are really reasonable and really convenient. They were also really helpful in moving our pandemic 2020 wedding to 2021. All it took was an email and we were emailed back a new contract with a new date and with our order intact. Follow up and last minute add-ons are also really easy as SBL was responsive in all of our emails and communications.

Absolutely Amazing!

Sweet Buffet Lady is THE place for wedding rentals! The inventory there is amazing and so reasonably priced. They were super accommodating during covid with our date change and we were able to add on items last minute! Everything is high quality and they are flexible with pick up and return dates/times. I highly recommend them to anyone needing rentals for their wedding!

Friendly and responsive, great prices!

Wendy was so great to work with. Always kind and friendly. She was very flexible and allowed me to adjust my order several times. They did a curbside drop off and pickup and all of the items we rented looked so great and helped us achieve the aesthetic we hoped for.

Wedding rentals!

SBL made it so easy to rent from. Their website is great and has so many options. There prices are also the best in town! Loved being able to order everything from one place. Definitely recommend if you need wedding rentals. I got mirrors, table linens and runners, vases, signs, backdrops and more. Awesome company!

Last minute savior

Used SBL for my bridal shower with only a week notice. They delivered everything on time and it was high quality products. Would have loved to use for the wedding If it was in town. Will consider for future party needs!

Perfect for out of state couples

My husband and I were planning a wedding from AZ, so renting was what we decided to do, and it was perfect! SBL had a great selection of rentals at an affordable price. Communication is timely, and you can make adjustments as needed until about a few weeks before wedding day, which worked well for us. Thank you SBL!

Great way to DIY your wedding!!

I am SO glad that Sweet Buffet Lady exists and that we found them for our wedding. They offer great prices for lots of common and unique wedding items and they made it possible for us to stay within our budget and have the decor we wanted. They have the best prices on quality linen rental in the Seattle area and they are pressed for only a small fee. They are super prompt in replying to email and never expressed any annoyance when I wanted to make changes my order again and again. You can go to their warehouse during business hours and check things out and even set stuff up to make sure everything fits together. Highly recommend!

Flexible, easy rental

We used Sweet Buffet Lady to rent supplies for our wedding and it was a great experience. We went to the warehouse to try out different pieces on a table to see what looked good together which was very helpful. Making changes to our order was quick and easy over email. Drop off and pickup was as expected and definitely worth the small price!!

Awesome items at reasonable prices

Event rentals up north are hard to come by, so I was overjoyed when I found Sweet Buffet Lady. The website is a bit difficult to navigate, but so worth the effort! She has some real unique gems; some items I couldn't even find in the Seattle area. Wendy was really responsive and great to work with. Her tablecloths are a fraction of the price as other vendors (definitely worth the $2 extra on the pressing fee!) and she has such a wide variety of napkins and other items. Her collection of vases came to my rescue and her adorable signage really put the finishing touch on my decor. Everything came together beautifully. Pickup and dropoff was a breeze. Pricing was the best deal of everything I got for my wedding. Highly recommend!

So accommodating and friendly! Myself, my sister and my sister-in-law have all utilized SBL for out weddings! Her selection of decor, catering, flatware, linens etc. is out of this world and I basically decorated my entire wedding with things from her inventory! I was able to pop into her warehouse, call or email if I had any changes all the way up until two weeks before my wedding! She delivers and picks up super speedy and I would recommend her until the day I die!!

They are highly recommend for a reason! We had several different vendors and venues mention SBL with high regard. After using them, we totally understand why! They had very prompt response when we had to adjust our order a few (dozen) times leading up to our big day! They were incredibly flexible with us for pickups and drop offs (in all the craziness of other people packing up our stuff after the wedding was over it took an extra day to track a couple things down, they were super nice about it and let it slide! If I ever need any rental stuff again, I will use them, and I will recommend them to anyone who asks!

I borrowed a variety of items from this company. I picked them up on Thursday and then on Friday I realized that I needed one more item. They were able to accommodate me on short notice and made pick up really easy. the fact that they give you the items for the entire weekend made the event much more stress free for my family. I will be using them again for any future events that come up. If you are looking for decor rental I suggest that you look no further. you will not find better prices then the quote that they will give you. Call them today and go to the next open house to take a look at their inventory. You will not be disappointed.

I would highly recommend Sweet Buffet Lady! We rented all of our linens, plates, cutlery, and a lot of decor! They were on time and unloading everything where it needed to go, before my bridesmaids and I even arrived. They showed up early to ensure that everything was cleaned up in time at the end. All of the decor and linens were exactly as they were pictured on the website. They were super responsive and quick to answer any last minute questions!

We realized the week of our wedding that we had forgotten about setting up a candy bar. Wendy was a life saver and was able to fit us in at the last minute, take into account our favorite candies, and provide linens to match our wedding colors.
The candies were a fantastic hit with our guests - kids and adults loved the variety of candies and the candy doubled as a wedding favor.

I found Wendy less than a month before my wedding and couldn't be more happy to have found a rental company who had what I needed on such a short notice. Her staff was prompt and friendly to work with and my bridesmaid even had a pleasurable experience when dropping the linens back off afterwards.

Wendy was amazing to work with. She fell into this business after helping with the decor her daughters' weddings. She saw a business opportunity when her daughter's friends were asking to borrow the decor. Wendy works out of her home but don't let that discourage you, she is a true professional and has all her rentals clearly displayed, logged and phototographed on her website. I would recommend working with Wendy, her items are of high quality and very reasonably priced.

I decorated my wedding entirely through Sweet Buffet Lady and it turned out beautifully. She has the best value in the region by far. I made multiple changes to the decorations that I wanted to rent multiple times and Sweet Buffet Lady was extremely responsive every time. I would absolutely recommend Sweet Buffet Lady!

Wendy was very easy to work with! Her prices are great and everything is in good condition. I had checked with a few other vendors first and they were charging maybe 3 times what Wendy was charging. I also love that delivery and pickup were included for a small fee. Can't beat the price and same day pickup!

Sweet Buffet Lady is a diamond in the rough and I am so happy that we found them. With all of the other logistics that weddings require, just kicking back and benefitting from this company's finely tuned operations was such a weight off the shoulders. Since we are from Seattle and our wedding was out of town in Leavenworth, we struggled a little at first to find a rental company that would allow us to keep items for a longer than average Thursday to Monday rental period. Most companies we looked at in the Seattle-area had significant extra fees for the added days. Then we found Sweet Buffet Lady! Their flexible Thursday-Monday rental period was the perfect fit for what we needed and their prices were great. Even with the longer rental period, their prices significantly lower than other Seattle-area rental companies. As I started to work with them, I also soon learned that these prices didn't come with any sacrifices in their professionalism. In fact, their responsiveness, flexibility, and efficiency made them one of the most accommodating vendors that we worked with during our wedding experience. They are also extremely organized. When we went to pick-up our items everything was neatly packaged and ready to go for us, and when we returned everything they helped us unload everything quickly and get back on the road. I would highly recommend them to other groups and will keep them in mind myself for any future parties and events!

We rented from them last minute for an arch and some other miscellaneous items a little over 2 weeks from our wedding. They were very quick to respond and accommodating and their birch arch is absolutely beautiful! The staff is very friendly and I would recommend them again.

What a great way to get things you need for a wedding and not have to purchase the item yourself rather renting. They were flexible with us coming to their location and looking at the items to rent. Pickup at a local spot was convenient and easy. Drop off was directly at her house. Lots of things to choose from and rent.

BEST DECISION EVER! Wendy and her team are SO affordable and have such a bounty of amazing loot. I was able to have a magazine perfect wedding without breaking my modest budget. They were easy to work with and allowed me to adjust my order several times, including the day before.. and they delivered and picked up at my venue on time. What a find! Wendy is absolutely wonderful and has a HUGE selection. It's fun to also support a local business rather than the large rental companies and Wendy's prices were extremely fair and competitive. She was quick to respond, so easy to work with and flexible with time and location of pick up and drop off. The rentals we used help make our wedding shine.

Working with Wendy at Sweet Buffet Lady was super easy! I price checked quite a bit of vendors for rental items, and by far, SBL offers the most competitive pricing. Also, I got super behind on planning and Wendy was very accommodating and allowed changes to the original order only 3 days before the wedding which is unheard off! Sweet Buffet Lady was wonderful! She had such a variety of rental items, and at unbeatable prices! We used her for everything from water pitchers to signs and decorations. She was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times and very prompt. She offers many great services and was very patient with every email I sent with questions. I definitely recommend using her.

Wendy at Sweet Buffet Lady rocks! I am so happy I found out about her and her rentals. For any bride looking to save money on anything from linens to decor - please check out Wendy's inventory. Not only does she have a ton of great stuff to choose from, they are all priced very reasonably compared to the bigger rental stores. She is also very responsive when it comes to calls and emails and will work with you if she doesn't have exactly what you are looking for. She even let me come visit several times before my wedding to make sure I was happy with what I was renting. Great business - very highly recommend!

Wendy was wonderful to work with. She responded almost instantly to my emails. Whenever I needed to add additional rentals to my order, she was very flexible and allowed me to do so. She was easy to work with and delivered and picked up when she said she would. Every thing I rented (which was a LOT) arrived in excellent condition. Very good value for everything. I am so pleased I found her to use for my wedding and would use her all over again!

Wendy was a huge saving grace for our wedding. Her prices are SO affordable, she has so much inventory and she is so flexible. We rented over $500 worth of items from her that would have cost us over $1000 had we gone to another "traditional" rental place. My favorite item was the chandelier (only $25!) that added such a cool touch to our dance floor. I would say to make sure you're aware how far away Bothell and Monroe are because we didn't really think about it until a couple weeks before the wedding and it was pretty far for us to drive out from Gig Harbor to pick up and drop off. We also rented so much stuff that we needed to rent a U-Haul to transport everything, so definitely factor the travel time/gas/etc into the cost. You'd be crazy to not check out Wendy's inventory for your wedding or event, she's great!

Wendy goes above and beyond and the best service ever. She provided us with the Candy Buffet set-up which looks great and was a hit at our wedding. She also provided chair covers & sash, champagne flutes, and plate chargers. Will highly recommend to others!

Sweet Buffet Lady saved my wedding! I only had a month to prepare my wedding. I contacted her a month before the day to book her service. But I kept changing my list of rental items. I emailed her the final list the evening before the wedding and asked her to deliver by 1PM the next day. I had lot of stuff including linens, chinaware, decorations and etc. I was worried that I didn't give her enough time to pack but she delivered on time!!!!!!!! She is awesome!!!!! Her rate is unbelievable!!!! I saved so much money by going w/ her.

I am so glad I found Wendy! She was super responsive, flexible and a pleasure to work with, and her prices are amazingly reasonable. I changed my order a number of times, and she had no problem accommodating each change.

Pickup and drop off were easy, and Wendy's equipment/décor was great. I highly recommend using Sweet Buffet Lady for your wedding/event rental needs!

We rented our napkins, dinnerware, chargers, flatware and glassware from the sweet buffet lady and were very happy with the rentals provided. Wendy has TONS of inventory, including cake stands, tables, chairs, signage and mostly anything else you could imagine. The only small issue we encountered was on the wedding day the cheaper flatware was delivered, although after a quick phone call and about 30 minutes the correct flatware was delivered with no further issues.

So glad we found SBL!

There are so many options to choose from and really great prices! We loved that they delivered everything to the venue and picked it all up afterwards. Would definitely recommend doing this as it takes away so much stress on the day of!!

I rented cake stands, signage, a metal drink basin, birdcage for cards, and easels from SBL and was very satisfied with the service and quality of the rentals. I found SBL via a craigslist ad and had emailed them to setup an appointment but received no response. I was nervous because I really wanted to rent from them as they were very affordable and had many items that I needed. I decided to go to their open house anyway (held on Thursdays) and thankfully received great service once I got there. All the rentals are picked up on Thursday and returned on Monday no later than 6:30pm. Everything we ordered came nicely wrapped in a plastic bin which made it easy to keep everything in good condition/order. All in all, we spent about $100 and I thought it was well worth it.

The sweet buffet lady was so accommodating as we had to reschedule our wedding twice due to Covid. We rented all the details for the tables and several other detail pieces. They delivered and picked up on time with no issues. The details made the day perfect!

We really enjoyed working with Wendy, and she provided a great alternative to other higher-priced rental options. She had a wonderful selection, and were able to get almost everything we wanted for a fraction of the cost! We also paid for her to setup a dessert buffet for us, and it was wonderful. She did a great job. My only complaint is that on the day of, the people doing the delivery didn't seem to have any idea of what was going on. They set up both the arbor and the dessert buffet in the wrong place (they never even asked where it should go), so my mom had to move it all! That was frustrating, but otherwise we were very happy with her service.

I was unimpressed. In a nutshell, they got the date of our wedding wring despite us double checking it multiple times and it being listed correctly on the contract. They held up everything (since you cant set up without table cloths!) and we were paying our set up people for only a few hours. When they did show up, they brought a "Mr. and Mr." sign instead of a "Mr. and Mrs." sign. When it was corrected, we ended up with a white sign instead of the burgundy one we ordered. I never received any kind of apology from them.
