  Best cake ever

  Swanky Sweets made my cake and dessert cups for my aquarium wedding. My wedding cake was amazing. I sent Vicki pictures of my thoughts, and it turned out way better than I ever could have hoped for. Total hit with the guests. And tasted phenomenal! I can not recommend Swanky Sweets enough.

  Awesome Tasting

  Vicki was awesome and very flexible. Her cakes were very delicious and so were the fillings. I could taste the fresh pineapple. I'm sure our wedding cake is going to be fabulous.

  delicious and gorgeous

  I found Swanky Sweets because they were recommended by our venue. I cannot say enough good things about Vicki and her staff. Everything from the cake tasting, to the welcoming atmosphere of her bake shop, to the cakes themselves....I am seriously so impressed! We chose to have a groom's cake (Bengals themed) and she HAND DREW the bengals logo. She also brought my vision to life for our wedding cake. ALL of our guests are still talking about how good the cakes were. We also used Vicki and her delicious cookies for our favors. Also a hit! We will be visiting her every single time we're in the area.

  Simply Fabulous!

  From birthdays to weddings, Vickie and her staff are amazing. The wedding cake was outstanding as well as the gourmet cupcakes. Birthday cakes.....so amazing.

  Swanky Sweets is a wonderful bakery

  From the time we walked in the door to do an impromptu tasting Vicki guided us through the process of design and selection of wedding desserts. Choosing flavors and specific pastries was difficult because everything was delicious.
  We chose a two layered vanilla Italian crime cake with raspberry and lemon filling along with assorted pastries and cupcakes including the delicious s’more tartlets.
  We could not have been happier with presentation or taste. Thank you Vicki and crew.

  Best cake ever!

  I am so excited about my wedding cake. The ladies at Swanky Sweets were incredible to work with. When my fiancé couldn’t attend our tasting at the last minute, they let me bring my friend and then packed up everything we tried for me to bring back for him to taste as well. My experience here was truly amazing and I can’t say enough about how wonderful it all was. It is such a relief to know that my cake is in the hands of professionals. I know it will not only look amazing but is going to taste incredible!

  Delicious cakes and treats

  My husband and I love Swanky Sweets. Vicky (the owner) is so nice and excellent to work with. She reached out to us prior to our tasting with a checklist of cake and icing flavors. I am gluten free and they have tons of delicious options. The cake tasting was fun! The only difficult part was picking the best flavor combos, they were all amazing. The cake looked exactly how I had envisioned it. I went with a traditional 3-tiered cake but everyone at the bakery is so talented, they can definitely turn any vision in to a reality. I am excited to thaw out our cake for our anniversary. I have no doubt that it will still taste amazing.

  Vicky and her crew did an amazing job on my daughters wedding cake and cupcakes. Everyone at the wedding was raving about the delicious cupcakes!! This place is a hidden gem in Swansboro!! We will never go anywhere else for cake after having tasted the various cakes and swanky sweets frosting (the best we've ever tasted) . I highly recommend them for any event small or large.. they are the best!!!

Planning a beach wedding from out of town was a challenge, but Vicki (the owner of Swanky Sweets Bake Shop) was so helpful from beginning to end. She worked with me over the phone and via email to create the wedding cake of my dreams. I described to Vicki what I envisioned and she offered suggestions and even sketched a cake design so I could see exactly what she would be creating. Then she worked her magic. Our wedding cake was as delicious as it was beautiful! Fresh. Moist. Incredible. I can't say enough about how thrilled we were with our wedding cake. Vicki is not only an artist; she is a genuinely kind and caring person. You can tell that she takes a personal interest in her clients and puts love and care into everything she bakes.   The team at Swanky Sweets were so easy to work with! They provided dessert for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding and all were a hit. The biggest hits were the peanut butter tart and all of the bars. I loved the coconut cake too!

  Swanky Sweets helped make our rehearsal dinner and wedding perfect! The key lime and peanut butter tarts were "to die for" as dessert after dinner!! The cookies served as an after dinner treat were a big hit with NO leftovers to be had. The staff was cooperative and offered suggestions and solutions to help make the process easy. Everyone I met in the store was professional, cheerful and helpful. The wedding cake was absolutely divine!! Beautifully displayed and delicious!! Swanky Sweets is an excellent choice for helping make your wedding or special celebration extraordinary.

Nothing too professional or intimidating, just real down to earth girls willing to talk everything out and taste test until you figure it out!! We were able to give them our budget and they gave us all sorts of different options and ideas for the best stretch of our money. We had 300 guests to accommodate, and they really did a spectacular job developing a buffet to please all pallets. Will 100% rely on Swanky Sweets for everything from this experience!

  We had a fantastic experience working with Elizabeth and Vicky from Swanky Sweets. We live in Boston, but had our wedding in Emerald Isle so planning was a little more difficult, but Elizabeth was extremely flexible and responsive to our needs. They helped us have a delicious seasonal dessert bar that included S'mores tarts, pecan pie bars, mini pumpkin cheesecakes, cupcakes (regular and gluten-free), and apple pie bars. Everything was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend their services.

They constantly stayed in contact with me for every single detail about the cake and the wedding. It really was the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen. The cake was out of this world and our guests were so impressed with the taste and beauty of it. I will NEVER go anywhere else for any special occasions or sweet treats!! I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make our wedding so very special!!

  Beyond delicious. The gluten free dairy free cake easy the best we ever tasted. Flavors were wonderful and fillings and frostings light and incredible tasting. Vicki is so accommodating and easy to work with. So excited she is doing my wedding cake!
