    Absolutely Wonderful

    The cake was delicious and so soft. They nailed exactly how we describe we wanted the cake to look. Price was great too! Would highly recommend!!

    Tasty and beautiful!

    Susie G’s cakes has always been a favorite of mine, it was hands down the best tasting cake I’ve ever eaten. The way they decorate a cake to the exact image in your mind is unbelievable. They are so polite and professional there, I will be back that’s for sure!!!

    Susie G's Specialty Cakes made us a wonderful wedding cake!

    We sat down and did our tasting in early 2019 to make sure they were the right fit for us. They were very helpful with our tasting and provided us plenty of reference photos to refer to during the tasting. We had a few reference photos of our own and discussed the design and feel we had. They were eager to please.
    They delivered our cake promptly for our wedding and it was so decadent and delicious. We wish we had more room in our stomachs to eat more on the day of because it was so yummy.
    They called to check in with us when time approached closer to the wedding date. We saved our cake topper for our anniversary and they left a congratulations card/gift in our card holder which we thought was a very sweet touch.

    Susie G's is the best!

    We have been getting cakes from Susie G’s for years for birthdays and other special occasions and they never disappoint!! So when we were planning our wedding we knew Susie G’s was going to be our bakery! Not only did they do the most beautiful job on the wedding cake but they were so helpful and accommodating when we had to reschedule our date. They are the best bakery in town, and we always recommend them to everyone we know!!

    We did a cake tasting had like 6 different kinds all so good it was so hard to pick . We ordered a 3 layer cake and 75 cupcakes . It was so perfect worked amazing for the wedding cake was beautiful I had real flowers on the cake . Everything about it was perfect .

    I hate cake. I hate cake. I hate cake.... BUT Susie G's cake is beyond delicious. I am more than excited to be able to have them for my wedding, and they have worked with me leaps and bounds so I will be able to surprise my groom with a special cake of his own!

    Their cake was amazing. Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse was our wedding cake. We also had sheet cakes made with vanilla cake & strawberry, & chocolate cake & strawberry. My guests have mentioned the cake to me several times. The Vanilla & strawberry reminded them of strawberry short cake perfect for our summer wedding. The chocolate & strawberry was compared to a light tasting black Forrest cake. We had no left over cake except the top tier of our wedding cake. DELISH!!!!

    I may be biased, because my family has been getting great cakes from Suzie G's since we moved to O'Fallon in 1998. Every major anniversary, celebration, or birthday has included a tasty cake (marble is my favorite!) and our wedding was no different!

    My husband and I got married on October 18th of 2014 and there was no doubt in my mind who would be making our cake. They modified it to our liking, and helped choose flavors and little details. There was a small snafu on the wedding day, as in the top tier arrived with a piece missing, but they fixed it before anyone entered the reception area.

    It was a great cake and fair price. We only wish we'd had more because several people didn't get pieces, but I think the server at the reception venue cut bigger pieces than were called for. We will be getting our One Year Anniversary cake from them this year.

    They did a great job! We planned our wedding in St. Charles from out of state, so all of our interactions up until a month before the wedding was done over the phone and online. They made our cake EXACTLY as we wanted it. We even had an emergency increase in the cake size due to a higher than expected number of attendees. They handled that without a hitch! The cake was delivered on time and without any incident. It was moist and delicious. We had a 3 day journey back home after the wedding and the top layer survived intact in a cooler of ice! I would recommend them for any sort of specialty cake you may want!

    The cake was beautiful! And tasting amazing. They really listened to what we had in mind, and were able to capture exactly what we wanted. We were able to keep the top tier of the cake, and they gave us advice on how to keep the cake from getting frost burn after the year of being the freezer. Which helped us.

    Our cake turned out beautifully and delicious. All my guests were commenting on how light and fluffy the cake was. I just wish we had ordered a larger cake for leftovers that's how good it was. The pricing is very fair and the decorations matched our sample perfectly. Thank you Susie G's!!

    They did our wedding cake and bridal shower cake. Everyone loved it!! They were great to work with and very resonably priced! Would use them again in a heart beat.

    OMG! I cant say enough about Stephanie and the staff at Susie G's. At first I was not going to freeze the top of my cake but after tasting the cake at the wedding, I can't wait to eat the topper on our anniversary. I met this vendor at a bridal show at the Heart of St. Charles. I tasted several cakes while there. It was not until after I tasted Susie's was I sold. It was the best wedding cake ever. I highly recommend this vendor for your next wedding cake or any celebratory event. While I was at her bakery for a cake tasting it was a revolving door of people in and out, after tasting my wedding cake, I understand the reason why.

    Due to circumstances beyond either of our control, Ms. Susie and I had a crazy time trying to meet up but it was well worth the effort to stay in touch. First thing I look for in cake that I'm going to feed to my loved ones it taste above all else; that was nailed on the head upon the tasting meeting (& I don't care much for cake, but this was soooo fluffy & not crazy sweet!). Then came the appearance. Obviously, the second most looked at thing at any wedding is the cake. Every bride wants an exceptional edible piece of art that's unique to them and their; I'm no different. However, I wanted a non-traditional wedding cake and required a master baker who was also an artist who was also willing to step out of their comfort zone while not exploding my tight budget. I provided the design concept and requested to provide some special items to be incorporated in said design. The design concept was cumbersome, difficult, and VERY unique. I don't pretend to know anything about baking or constructs of food, so I was taking a huge leap of faith in a person I'd never met before and evaluated her talent strictly from the tasting and portfolio. There was also a great deal of trust from her to me: trust that I wouldn't have a fit if I didn't like how the cake looked, trust that I was skilled enough to make my items compliment her work, etc. I gave Ms. Susie complete creative leeway on this project (which few bakers ever want to hear from any bride) and she not only succeeded in creating a cake I could barely imagine, but successfully wow-ed and impressed both myself and my guests. My trust was well placed Ms. Susie and her staff, and I'd strongly recommend their services to anyone looking for both traditional and non-traditional cakes for any & all (or even no) occasions. If you're curious about this cake I'm talking about, be sure to request a photo from them as I'm sure (at least I hope) they've added it to their portfolio.

    I loved my wedding cake. Not only was it delicious, white cake, raspberry mousse and cheesecake in every layer, but totally adorable. It was the perfect compliment to my wedding. They let me bring them my own fresh flowers the day before.:)

    I was very impressed with the taste of our wedding cake, and also with the variety of flavors offered here at Susie G's. My only complaint is that our cake did not end up looking like the picture we provided. It was a pretty cake, but not aesthetically what we wanted.

    Our wedding cake was delicious and looked great too. Susie G's was very accommodating during the tastings and allowed us to come back when we wanted to make sure we were selecting the right fillings. We had some leftover cake after the wedding and it was still extremely moist and delicious a week later.
    We cannot wait for our anniversary to enjoy the top layer.
