Jim was super fun! Loved having him Dj our wedding. Great price for the work he put into making our wedding fun and such a sweet memory. Something important for me & Tate was to make sure the music matched the energy of the room & he was super good at that! Also he MC our wedding and was clear & announced everything right! Absolutely perfect!

Jim was awesome to work with. We were in the middle of moving from Lubbock to Fort Worth and we were able to plan everything through emails and phone calls and everything turned out PERFECT. We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. He worked off the crowd and made the evening fun for all ages. I cannot say enough good things about him.

So accommodating, easy to work with, and very sweet!

our dance floor was such a party and he kept the dancing going! There was always a fun song on and he was so accommodating in making it fit with our Christmas theme!

SureFire Entertainment was a fantastic bonus for our wedding day! Jim went above and beyond to help us plan and coordinate our wedding reception! He even covered the wedding ceremony music too! It was wonderful to have a MC for the night! Best decision we made for our wedding.

An experience that we will never forget!!

Sure-Fire Entertainment was a top pick of a few different DJ’s that we looked at. From start to finish, we felt sure that our special day would be handled just the way we wanted. Anyone looking to use Sure-Fire Entertainment will find nothing but professionalism from top to bottom. Fun, Ubeat DJ

He was awesome. He made sure we were taken care of, he emceed our special things in between, and did a variety of music to make sure the dance floor always had people on it (even if a majority of our guests were shy). Me and my husband found him so easy to communicate with and work with; I definitely recommend!

Could not working with Jim any more than we did! Our family are not huge dancers or parties...yet Jim and his crew were able to get everyone from the two-year olds to the 90 year olds on the dance floor! Everyone in attendance to our wedding could not remember the last time they had so much fun at a wedding. Thank you, Sure-Fire Entertainment for making our wedding day everything we ever dreamed of.

Jim was great! I had some uncertainty in the type of music I wanted originally and he gave great suggestions. I used his advice for my ceremony and reception and it turned out perfectly! He is honestly like a wedding planner himself.

There are several different styles of DJ:S Sure-fire Entertainment is so professional. They help organize your wedding ceremony and reception timeline, which lets the family relax and enjoy the event. We were able to give our input into what music was played. They went above and beyond their service to make our Wedding special.

Jim with Surefire Entertainment was by far the best. He was extremely professional every time we met and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. He took the time to actually get to know us and what exactly we wanted in both the wedding and reception. He absolutely NAILED it. The saying is that you get what you pay for, but that isn't the case here. We got exactly what we wanted and SO much more!!

I highly recommend Jim and would use him again for anything that I need DJed in a heartbeat

I can't stress how perfect Sure Fire DJ was for DJing our wedding. The song selection was perfect and just what we wanted. We had multiple people comment on how great the music was. He doesn't steal the show and make the event about him. Very professional, helped make our wedding day perfect!

Jim with SureFire was INCREDIBLE!! He nailed our ceremony and reception flawlessly. He was very fast to respond to any questions we had. He took the time to meet with us and get to know us as a couple to give us EXACTLY what we wanted. Extremely professional and talented. Don't bother looking anywhere else. Jim was a pleasure to deal with and provided the type of service we wanted. He utilized our play list and managed the flow of the music flawlessly. He also let the event be the showcase and didn't view his role as a "performance", which, again, was exactly what we wanted.

I am so thankful I had SureFire Entertainment at my wedding reception. After our first meeting with Jim, I was at ease and knew I wouldn't have to worry about a thing concerning the music and organization of events at the reception. We provided him with a few song titles that represented the kind of music we were hoping to hear. Jim was always flexible on when he could meet up with us, he gave great suggestions and created a great atmosphere and went beyond just being our DJ by mapping everything out for us and making sure everything went smoothly. If we needed help with things even other than music, he was ready and willing to help. He was very professional and calming to a nervous bride!

From our very first contact with Jim, my husband and I were greatly impressed by his professionalism, attentiveness, and the genuine kindness and caring thought Jim put into helping us plan the timeline and music for both our ceremony and our wedding. He was incredibly flexible (which was wonderful and so comforting considering I was not the most "decisive" bride...) and truly went above and beyond with the level of service he provided us both leading up to and during the event. Do not hesitate to use this DJ for your wedding. Off the many decisions the parents of the bride had to make for our daughter's wedding this was by far one of the best. This gentleman really knows how work a crowd. His timing was perfect. He began with background music as we ate and socialized and gradually amped it up as the party continued. Pretty soon the room was rocking and the dance floor was crowded the rest of the evening. He has earned all the stellar reviews he has received. Skip the live band. This guy knows how to create a magical evening.

Jim did a great job with our reception music. He kept everyone on the floor dancing all night long. The best value was in the planning process where Jim assessed my husband and my taste in music and helped us pick songs for all the traditional activities.

They are supper nice, professional, and accommodating. I got so many compliments from friends and family telling me how much they enjoyed the music at the wedding.

Jim with Sure-Fire Entertainment did an excellent job with our wedding music. He met with us beforehand and worked out all the details for the reception and we filled out an extensive form with all sorts of information about what type of activities we wanted, specific music requests, etc. The reception was amazing and he found the type of music that worked best for the people we had and had a group that normally wouldn't be much for dancing out on the dance floor.

I was very pleased with the service received from Surefire Entertainment. He was efficient and very easy to work with and kept the schedule of our reception on track. However, we had requested to have a majority of Texas country played at our wedding and there was very little actually played, and I know when it was requested by a friend that request was not met. Overall we had a wonderful wedding and a great experience with Surefire.

Lots of experience with wedding receptions! Arrived as scheduled and even stayed later than scheduled! Lots of preplanning forms for the reception details!

Just Okay DJ

Jim was polite and responded to emails quickly. However, he did not completely follow the wedding day timeline and when a few of my bridesmaids asked him to do something per the brides request he did not easily comply. He also did not make many of the announcements very loud or clear to help guide the guest throughout the reception. He did play the music we liked.

He was very friendly and helpful leading up to the ceremony. I wish he would have been a little more flexible on where he would set up his equipment during the ceremony and reception.

My husband and I were actually pretty disappointed with this DJ. After meeting with him twice, I was sure that we had a plan, communication would be clear on the wedding day, and that he would be well worth the money spent on him. He was professional, kind, thorough, personal, and friendly as I met with him twice (for an hour each time) to discuss expectations and plans for the wedding day. The music/lights were good, as you would expect from most DJs, but he really did not stick to the schedule that we talked about. He announced serving dinner too early, did not open up a time for parents/friends to speak to us (which my husband specifically asked him for), and was not kind to my older sister-in-law who was communicating information to the DJ for me (the bride). My sister-in-law is a photographer who has done many weddings and has never had this experience with a DJ.

I really liked him as a person, so I don't enjoy writing this review. I was honestly confused about his performance on the wedding day, but I just have to be honest about how it went. I really expected much more. Maybe it was only me who had a bad experience with him on the wedding day. Anyway, I hope this is helpful!

I was not at all pleased with the DJ service that Sure-fire Entertainment had to offer me. I was assured that I would get to listen to the music that I wanted without any problem. While the specific songs chosen for cake cutting, first dance, etc. were correct, I gave the DJ a MUST PLAY list and heard NONE of the songs. Also, I didn't know I was highering a reception planner in this process either. You're a DJ. It is not your place to tell me how my night should flow and at what pace. Our parents missed our enterence, first dance, and cake cutting because he did not listen when I said I wanted time to talk to people in between. Also, the DJ had no right to tell me when to play my last song! Neither us or our guests were ready to go. We still had 1.5 hours left. I asked him to play a few songs so we can go take a final picture, and all he said was, 'sorry, it's already playing.' That was not my problem. A professional would fade it out and play another song. I told him we were not ready to go. Because of him we didnt get to have a final dance nor exit to the song we wanted to. He needs to learn his place! I regret wasting my money on him and strongly advise others not to do the same! For the ridiculous amount I paid, this so called 'DJ' service needed to do what I said. Not what he wanted. Last, It is also very inappropriate to bring your children with you. Sorry, but I paid to feed you, not them.
