We had an amazing experience at Sunset Bluffs. From our first tour to the wedding weekend, the staff was knowledgeable, responsive, and made everything run perfectly.
Their vendor expo made planning so much easier. We found incredible vendors we could trust. The in-house catering was delicious with plenty of options, and the add-ons were so great (the fireworks were a highlight of our night)!
The option to rent the guest house and have our wedding party and families stay on-site made the whole experience even more special.
We cannot recommend Sunset Bluffs enough. -

We had our wedding at Sunset Bluffs, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, the beauty of the venue took our breath away—stunning views, perfectly kept grounds, and an atmosphere that felt both intimate and magical.
What made the experience even more unforgettable was the incredible team. Sharron and Gretchen went above and beyond every step of the way. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made us feel supported and stress-free throughout the entire process. They handled details we didn’t even think to worry about, and their personal touches made our day feel truly special.
Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was and how smoothly the entire celebration went. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated staff.
If you’re considering Sunset Bluffs for your wedding—book it. It was the best decision we made, and we’re forever grateful for the unforgettable memories created there. -

We could not have chosen a more perfect venue than Sunset Bluffs for our daughter's wedding day! The location is absolutely breathtaking, featuring a stunning quarry rock wall, a serene lake with a fountain, a sandy beach, and a wall of windows in the modern reception hall. Every corner of the property is picture-perfect, and we loved the endless photo backdrops, especially the iconic “sunset bluff” and the beautiful cross on the property.
Beyond the incredible aesthetics, the staff made the experience seamless and enjoyable. Sharron, the venue coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. On the wedding day, rain threatened to derail the outdoor ceremony, but Sharron and the team handled it flawlessly. After a brief cloudburst, they quickly dried the chairs and set the stage for a beautiful ceremony as if nothing had happened. And then a rainbow over the bluffs appeared!
The in-house catering by Mosaic was extraordinary—our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food! And the grand fireworks display was an unforgettable touch that wowed everyone.
Sunset Bluffs delivered on every level: beauty, professionalism, and unforgettable memories. We highly recommend this venue to anyone searching for the perfect wedding location! -

This place is amazing! The people running the venue are awesome. I called Friday morning to get a lunch delivered and they made it happen. Come Saturday evening, we realized we had nothing for Sunday's breakfast but they made it happen, even with being extremely busy that weekend. The Bridal house is flawless and the Guest House on the hill made a great place for the Brides family to stay and enjoy the property all weekend. Their payment plan worked great for us. Great food, great venue and great people running it! I would book it again if my second daughter ever decides to get married. -

The management and crew work seamlessly together! They think ahead and are prepared every step of the way. They are also very flexible and ready for “Mother Nature”. They take time to walk you through every step and make sure that all your wishes are granted, they even go that extra mile. -

What can I say but “WOW!”. Sunset Bluffs is an amazingly beautiful venue that would make any wedding day perfect. Luckily, you also get the chance to work with Sharon and Gretchen who make the whole experience smooth and easy. They are excellent communicators who go above and beyond. Their efforts guaranteed that my daughter’s wedding day was the perfect fairytale that she dreamed of. They made sure that nothing was forgotten which was priceless to me, and I can’t thank them enough. I wholeheartedly give a 5-star recommendation. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. -

From the moment my husband and I first drove onto the Sunset Bluffs property, we knew that we had to have our wedding at this venue! The scenery and tasteful atmosphere that the venue exudes is reason enough to book with them. We really wanted a location where we could have every aspect of our wedding at, including the ceremony, pictures, cocktail hour, and reception. The open layout of the property makes it very appealing to guests to enjoy the views and ambiance of Sunset Bluffs. Sunset Bluffs was always on top of communication and being open with us during the planning process. There were very knowledgeable about wedding planning and were able to assist with the many questions I had! Sharron was amazing to work with on our wedding day with helping to coordinate vendors, guests, and timelines. Sunset Bluffs was a dream wedding for us, and we were so blessed to work with them! -

Gretchen was an amazing help with the wedding, she helped so much with the timelines and helped make sure everything stayed according to the plan, she also drove us in her personal vehicle so we could get sunset pictures on the bluffs, the venue is a little expensive, but that the price you pay to have everything in one place, I would give my experience 10 stars if I could, and mosaic did a fantastic job with our food all of our guest where saying how good it was and how they wanted more! -

11/11 Aylward Wedding
Our wedding was on 11/11/23 at Sunset Bluffs and it was absolutely glamorous! We booked with sunset Bluffs venue over two years ago and both Sharron and Gretchen were very detail oriented and the quality of service was beyond expected! They were very open to new ideas and were the best at keeping communication over our 2 year engagement. They were especially helpful making our dream wedding come true! We did the weekend package and from the time we got there Friday morning to the time we exited Sunday afternoon they were there for support and ready to lead a helping hand throughout the whole weekend! 10 out of 10 recommend this venue and the fireworks package!

Had an absolutely fabulous experience hosting our wedding at Sunset Bluffs. Our day was smooth and perfect, which was made possible due to Gretchen, Pat and Sharron. We had no worries during our day as we trusted the Sunset Bluffs team to take care of everything, to which they went above and beyond on.
We received so many compliments from our guests on our venue as we were lucky enough with weather to truly utilize the entire grounds-- married outside, cocktail hour under the tent, dinner inside and then back outside to dance the night away! The best part is that the venue is SO beautiful on it's own, that we really did not need much at all in terms of decorations, giving us one less thing to worry about!

As the MOB, I can not say enough good things about Fredrick and Sunset Bluffs. Breathtaking is just the tip of the iceberg! If you want a secluded wedding where you can relax and forget about everything but your Wedding, this is the venue for you. Not only do they have an upscale hall for your reception - they have multiple ceremony locations available including a white sand beach! On top of that the Guest house is SPECTACULAR!
Fred is the absolute best to work with, he is attentive & very accommodating and literally works his tail off to make sure everything is perfect. His list of preferred vendors are top notch - you can not go wrong if you choose Fred and Sunset Bluffs. We truly loved every minute of our experience, Thanks again for everything Fred. -

Wow just wow! Where do I start! Initially I didn’t intend to have a huge wedding ceremony because I couldn’t find a venue that I loved and that one I could make my own in the St. Louis Region, or so I thought. Until I widened my search range and came across the breathe taking venue at Sunset Bluffs! If you want amazing, personalized customer service this is your place. Looking for a beautiful venue both inside and out this is your place! Looking for a venue that has the ability a unique get away vehicle (helicopter in my case) this is your place! I loved every aspect of working with Frederick and his team and so did my guest who were wowed by the beautiful sandy beach upon the entrance to the premises. We also had the pleasure of 20 of guest (the wedding party ) staying overnight after the wedding inside this uniquely designed modern mansion that sits next door to the reception space. But with all this nothing tops Fredericks customer service and his willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the bride is happy! This place is a true hidden gem and I would 1000% suggest you take a look into it! -

My husband and I were searching for a venue to bring our beach wedding to life and we are so happy that we found this place. It is a true gem in the area. All of my guest were blown away by the venue. The staff was very accommodating and professional. I am in love with this place. I do not think we could have found a better venue. I would recommend this place. If you are not sure, request a viewing and you will not be disappointed. The venue is amazing, but the views are unmatched! -

HOLY COW!!! This venue is absolutely beautiful and I would recommend taking advantage of every space possible. With an amazing bridal suite, plus a whole house for everyone to get ready in, an awesome indoor reception space, and a beautiful outdoor ceremony space complete with a lake and bluffs, you can not go wrong. It's really like 4 venues in one! A grass ceremony option, a beach ceremony option, or under a tent in case in rains. This venue's popularity is growing fast. The staff is professional and organized, and growing! So I would snatch up this venue while you can! -

The best venue we could have chosen for our wedding! Sharron and the staff made sure everything went flawlessly. Even with the rain predictions and storms we didn't have to worry about anything. Their decorations were beautiful and everything was handled with great care and attention to detail.
The venue itself is stunning and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue. All our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed the day. We are SO glad we chose sunset bluffs! -
Lauren Sent on 10/27/2017Sunset Bluffs was a beautiful venue! It's a great place if you want to be able to do your own thing and customize it the way you want. I booked my wedding a year out and from the time I booked the venue until the wedding, there were many positive additions Fredrick added. Him and Joe were very helpful the day of the wedding in arranging all the chairs, setting up the arbor and other odds and ends that needed to do with the venue itself. Having the ceremony and reception all at one place while having the entire wedding party stay at the house was so relaxing! We even had our rehearsal dinner here and had food catered in the night before. You do not need a lot of decorations as the scenery of Sunset Bluffs lends itself enough beauty! I would recommend this venue to anybody who wants a little less tradition and more flexibility.
