Easiest wedding planning process and most perfect wedding I could have ever imagined!

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Sunquest Cruises and every person I worked with or encountered from the company throughout the wedding planning process and the wedding day itself. From day one, they were always so thoughtful, helpful and never missed a beat. Once we got paired with our wedding planner, Courtney, I told her that I had pretty much no clue what I was doing, but had a color scheme and general idea of what we wanted; to say she made our vision come to life is an understatement. I don't know how many times I told her, "Courtney, it's like you can read my mind!" Every single detail was flawless and perfectly represented what we wanted as a couple. The flowers were just about the most beautiful florals I've ever seen, the food was INCREDIBLE, the in-house DJs were so fun and sweet, the wait staff on board was kind and attentive, our day of coordinator, Jeremy, was a helpful and calming presence, and overall the day was just perfect. Our guests truly were raving about every aspect of the event. I'm so thrilled we chose Sunquest for our wedding, and I will never forget how special it was.

Most memorable wedding I've ever attended!

Attending a wedding on SunQuest Cruises was an experience I won’t soon forget. From the moment we boarded the SOLARIS yacht at Baytowne Marina near Miramar Beach, it was clear this wasn’t your average wedding venue. There is something truly magical about saying "I do" with the salty breeze and a panoramic sunset over the Choctawhatchee Bay as the backdrop.

The transition from the ceremony on the sky deck to the reception below was seamless. I’ve been to many weddings where the food is hit-or-miss, but the dinner here was excellent. Everything was served hot and seasoned perfectly; it felt like a high-end restaurant experience rather than a catered event.

The live entertainment really brought the night to life. The band had a great energy that kept the dance floor packed, making the whole celebration feel intimate yet high-energy. Between the incredible views, the gourmet meal, and the music, it was the perfect way to celebrate the couple. If you’re looking for a unique, stress-free wedding venue that your guests will actually rave about for years, this is it. It was easily one of the most beautiful and fun weddings I’ve ever attended!

Best day ever!

We had the most amazing wedding aboard the Solaris! Our ceremony was on the upper deck during a gorgeous sunset followed by an incredible dinner and dancing. Every one of our guests raved about how much fun and beautiful everything was. The process from start to finish was fabulous! The planners provided everything including the cake, flowers, DJ and photographer. Although that is not a requirement, it was so great not having to research and find everything on my own. Highly recommend...the best day ever!

We recently hosted our ceremony on the sugar-white sands and moved the party to the Solaris yacht for a sunset reception that our guests are still talking about.

Post-Wedding Brunch

We chose the daytime package for our post-wedding brunch on the Solaris. It was the perfect way to end our wedding weekend! We added the unlimited beer and house wine package, which included mimosas and bloody marys. That with the brunch menu was perfect for our guests!

All-Inclusive Destin Wedding Venue

From the moment we met Kristi we connected (not just because we share a name!!) and she helped answer our hundreds of questions. Once we booked our wedding, we were handed to Courtney and Emma, who planned all the details. Our day of coordinators, Emma and Ashia, were incredible. We loved having access to such a large team. Any time we called, we were able to get answers and felt very comfortable and at ease!

All-Inclusive Destination Wedding

Unique, unforgettable experience

We hosted our wedding aboard the Sunquest in August of 2023 and had a seamless event. Due to cost and size of our party, we opted to do a “share the boat” event - with our party on the main deck and open to the public from below and above. We were worried about random people walking through our events, but I can say that the most-private moments throughout the event ARE kept exclusive (your ceremony, first dances, speeches, etc.). The other guests on the boat were also mindful about walking through at certain times.

Our guests raved about the catering - from the dessert cheesecake to the unbelievable entrees to the drinks at the bar.

The wedding party suite was the perfect size for the bride with three family members to get ready and have champagne and a charcuterie tray.

The staff on the boat was absolutely amazing - they were dedicated to making sure the bride and groom had drinks at all times (if wanted) and kept everything smooth and tidy.

It was the perfect amount of time out on the water, and we’ll be back to celebrate an anniversary sometime!

30a Rehearsal Dinner Venue

We booked the Solaris for our rehearsal dinner and it was the best kick off to our wedding weekend in 30a. Easy planning process, was able to simply pick what we wanted and their team took care of everything. Our guests cannot stop talking about the food. We went for the tapas small plates and our guests loved it!

A perfect day!

From the first inquiry to the big day, the Sunquest team, Kristi, Emma and Samantha were 100% on top of every detail. They make it so easy for couples who don’t live in the area. The vendors that they partner with to provide photography (Jon), florals and DJ James were the best of the best!

My family and friends said it was the best and most fun wedding they had ever been to. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!

Best of the Best!

My husband and I had THE BEST experiences with each person we had the pleasure of working with throughout our wedding- from planning all the way through our sparkler send off at the end of our wedding night! Everyone was super supportive of all the things we envisioned for our ceremony and reception. The entire team made our wedding wishes come to reality and so effortless for us! They were all so fun to work with and were very accommodating to all our family and friends (one of the waiters even learned some sign language to ask our cousin if she needed anything, after finding out she is deaf!). All our guests still talk about how perfect everything went and how they had SUCH a blast! The food was top notch and drinks were out of this world! To this day, our guests speak about wanting to plan anniversary trips with us to celebrate on there Solaris again! We cannot say enough great things about the yacht and all the crew as everything and everyone are seriously what dreams are made of! Thanks so much for making our wedding celebration so memorable!

Dream Destin Wedding

SunQuest Cruises gave us our DREAM wedding experience in Destin! Their entire team made us feel held and celebrated throughout the entire planning process, and especially on the day of. We opted for a beach ceremony before the yacht reception and we were blown away at their team's professionalism and care. Our two day of coordinators, Christy and Angela, were so incredibly sweet and kept the details that we planned with our planner, Courtney, to a T! Perfect venue and staff for an amazing wedding experience

We had a lot of last minute hiccups take place with our wedding party and Courtney, Angela, Gwen and Captain Hal were remarkable at making sure everything went perfectly and beautifully, despite our complications.

The on staff florist nailed my floral inspiration! You can trust they will take any wedding dreams you have and turn them in to reality.

I wish I could name everyone who was there that night, because they all deserve special recognition too.

It’s a very unique and fun venue, all of our guests commented on how amazing their food was.

Magical experience!

The great staff here made my night magical!! Truly a jaw dropping experience! I couldn’t imagine a better reception or ceremony! The food was delicious! The ambiance and staff were truly amazing! Wonderful team!

Can’t say enough about the Solaris team and how wonderful they were. Our wedding planner Courtney made everything seem so easy and stress free. She was so great to work with and brought all my ideas to life effortlessly and made the planning process fun. The flowers and reception space were even more beautiful than I could have imagined. The Perfect Wedding

We were absolutely thrilled with our wedding onboard the Sunquest Solaris! It was the most unique, fun, and memorable wedding I've ever seen.

I loved that they handle many of the small decisions, letting us choose a few package options and edit from there instead of working from scratch. This made event planning so much less stressful that it otherwise would have been.

We moved the dance floor to the top deck, and dancing under the lights and stars was unique and amazing. I definitely recommend asking them to put your dance floor on the top deck of the boat.

Amazing Time

It was a very unique experience. We rented out the entire boat and ended up spending way more than expected to get upgrades and made the ride more magical. The only down side was that I wish the cruise was longer. We were not ready to end the party at the end of the night.

The BEST Wedding Ever!

SunQuest made it SO easy to plan our destination wedding. They offer nearly everything in-house! SunQuest was not only our venue, but also our planner, photographer, caterer, bartender, florist, and entertainer. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner with them the night before on the beach. We were pretty stressed about the idea of planning from a few states away, but SunQuest made planning so easy! Our wedding was perfect and I can't thank the team at SunQuest Cruises enough.

Wonderful wedding

I found Sunquest via Google when helping my sister plan her destination wedding. We got connected with Julie who was very responsive, professional, and a delight to work with. She helped us organize a beach ceremony and yacht Reception. Then COVID hit. We had to move the date from June to September, and Julie was very accommodating to the adjust. As we approached the September date, numerous hurricanes and tropical storms were hitting the gulf area and it was looking poor for my sister's date but Julie kept in contact with us and ultimately the weather turned out amazing. We received numerous comments from the guests about how awesome everything was from the decor, to the food and the yacht itself. Sureya was our wedding day coordinator and helped manage everything so my sister could have an amazing day. Thank you so much for the wonderful wedding!

The most magical night with the perfect team!!

The team at Sunquest cruises is truly top notch and we cannot recommend them enough! I really wanted a smaller wedding that did not take me months/years to plan out and Sunquest gave us just that! Julie, our wedding planner, helped us plan our night down to the exact detail and helped us decide on ways to personalize our ceremony and reception to make all of our dreams come true! Having in house catering, photography, and florists made choosing vendors a breeze and Sunquest even provided a list of preferred outside vendors that made planning our entire weekend so so easy. The house band was so fun and had our guests out on the dance floor all night! We truly enjoyed ourselves and all of our guests cannot stop talking about how much fun they had. We are actually already planning to go back on a dinner cruise on the Solaris because we can’t get enough of this amazing team of people! They truly made sure every detail was what we wanted and made our night so special! I would not change a single thing about our wedding! Thank you everyone withy Sunquest Cruises!!

A Destination Dream Boat Wedding

By far the best experience I have and probably will ever had. I'll break it down into two parts: preparation and the wedding.

I started preparing a year in advance because I was getting deployed and wouldn't be able to focus on it until a couple of months before. Suffice to say they were great. I stayed in contact with Julie one of their wedding coordinators (the best coordinator ever) via email, and every email was succinct and to the point. Any question I had no matter how trivial or nonsensical was answered in a fast and thorough way. Julie also helped coordinate all the vendors from the cake, flowers, photographer and even afterwards with floral preservation. Honestly, this was the easiest preparation I ever had to do. I was asked what I preferred, answered as such and the magic was done.

The actual wedding day, was magical I was blown away boarding the ship. I could not believe how beautiful the ship was transformed into. I was able to meet the rest of the staff and the day of coordinator Nicole knew everything that Julie and I discussed, they were extremely helpful and happy to be there for me! Unfortunately it rained that day, funnily enough it was a beautiful and bright day the day before and after, but Sunquest still made it magical and amazing. From the ceremony to the reception and dancing it was the best night of my life.

In conclusion, I am definitely one that pays for convenience to make my life easier, and this was the best way to do a wedding for anyone that likes to make their life easier or even those that want to be in charge of every detail. The best part though was that it wasn't even that expensive compared to what a magical night I was given and the little I had to do. I would highly recommend Sunquest to anyone for their special day because they'll make it even more memorable!

Best wedding ever!

We chose Sunquest because we wanted to give our guests a unique experience and we are still so thrilled that we made that decision. The entire staff is so friendly and Julie, our assigned coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond and I will forever be grateful to her for all of her hard work. We had our ceremony on the beach (through Sunquest) and our reception on the Solaris Yacht. All of it was memorable. Weeks later, our guests are still raving about how beautiful and fun the entire wedding was as well as how delicious the food was. We seriously could not be happier and I highly recommend anyone who is considering Solaris as an option to do it. I wish I could relive my perfect wedding day a hundred more times.

We love our wedding at the Solaris

We had an awesome wedding at the Solaris. The staff were nice, professional, the food was so good, we had a lot of compliments about the food, our guests had a wonderful time. The only thing was that the audio was having feedback during the ceremony and so the mic was turned off and the music was turned down so it wasn't loud enough. Also, we didn't know there was a gate and a code going to the boat at the Marina, and some of the guests got stock at the gate. Other than that, the ceremony and reception were great! Love the djs the wedding day planner. Also, Julie our wedding planner was great! She's so sweet and accommodated most if not all of our requests. It was a wedding day to remember. We just sat back and relax and everything was taken cared of. Our waiter was also very professional and took care of our food and drinks upto the send off where he drove us in the golf cart to the parking lot. Excellent experience overall.

Amazing in every way

I would HIGHLY recommend this venue for anybody and everybody. Julie and her team were able to make our dream wedding a reality. They were always available to answer any questions (even super last minute). They are reliable, easy to connect with, and honest. Julie was understanding about our budget limitations and gave us second and third options if we requested them. As a bride that had a hard time making decisions, they were able to narrow down options for me that were elegant yet affordable.
The day of, there was some questionable weather. Some plans had to be rearranged due to this but it still turned out amazingly, and our guests had a great time/would have never known. My husband and I truly would not have changed a thing. I love that we were able to get married somewhere extremely unique with a classic wedding feel! When you imagine a wedding, you tend to think it's overwhelming and stressful, but not with SunQuest. Everything from start to finish was a breeze thanks to their Team. The food was awesome too!! We had a great variety for our guests to choose from. Every guest raved about how delicious it was. We can't wait to come back to Florida and make a reservation for a dinner cruise. Amazing, flawless execution - Guests really enjoyed this venue & the top notch service!

I worked with Julie and the Sunquest team for nearly a year leading up to my wedding in October 2018 and it truly turned out amazing! Julie walked me through all the details, offered suggestions and provided valuable information in a timely manner to help me, along with our guests, prepare for our special day. Everything from the florals, lighting and linens turned out even better than I'd imagined. Julie saw to it that the groom and I were able to eat the food we'd read about for months and it was amazing! Almost 3 weeks out from the wedding I'm still getting compliments on the amazing food and also, the serving team aboard the Solaris - from the Captain to the bartender. Sunquest also worked well with the few outside vendors I had contracted. They provided transportation for them down the dock via golf cart, as well as for my less mobile guests. We cannot say enough good things about Julie and her team. Our guests truly had a memorable time and I would like to thank Julie and the entire Sunquest Solaris team for making our special day happen flawlessly!

Hurricane Michael could not stop our love!!!

Hurricane Michael was going to make land fall on the Emerald Gulf Coast as the biggest hurricane the gulf has ever seen on Wednesday October 10, 2018. It looked like the hurricane was headed straight for Destin FL. Our wedding was scheduled for Friday October 12. Since we were already in Destin FL the weekend prior enjoying some vacation time before our wedding date, we were advised on Tuesday October 9 of a mandatory evacuation. We left Destin FL and drove north to Montgomery AL to avoid the hurricane. For two days we hunkered down in our hotel rooms hoping for the best. I tried staying positive but wondered if our wedding would need to be rescheduled. My family and friends all watched the news as the hurricane landed and by a miracle the hurricane missed Destin FL. Our AMAZING wedding planner (Julie) stayed in constant contact with me keeping me posted on current conditions. On Thursday October 11 we were told that we could return to Destin FL. This was music to my ears! I want to thank the Captain, Julie and all of the staff of Sunquest for making our wedding day the most special day of our lives.

Amazing wedding venue! From start to finish, Julie was wonderful! We planned our Solaris wedding for 10 months and Julie was available, professional, and understanding during the whole process. Where to begin - there are not enough superlatives I can think of to describe this team. From the first encounter to the last day -helpful and beyond. They made every dream possible and when the DJ was a no-show even took over for him. The flowers, the decorations was just as we had pictured it. The food was melt in your mouth, still getting compliments from people, most saying it was the best meal they had in a long time. Julie and Christy will help you though any obstacle you encounter and come up with a creative way to handle. I believe Nothing can throw them! My husband and I recently got married aboard the Solaris with SunQuest Cruises. There was not one single thing that went wrong (or at least I didn't know about it!). If anyone is on the fence about using SunQuest, please do yourself a favor and go ahead and book it! Your coordinator literally handles everything for you. Mostly everything is included with your contract, but if you want to add additional items, the coordinator can work any budget! Our coordinator was Julie Fabozzi. Julie was AMAZING throughout the entire process. I kept making change after change to the timeline, and she accommodated my changes with no problem. We got married in April, so I know she was super busy with other weddings, but it never took her more than a couple hours to respond to my phone calls or emails.
The biggest thing I want to commend Julie for is the wedding day itself. The morning of the wedding, Julie was setting up a table for our wedding and it fell and hit her in the mouth. It chipped her front two teeth, but guess who still greeted me with a smile for the wedding...you guessed it - JULIE! Julie knew that I would have panicked without her there that day. Even though she was in pain, she still showed up and coordinated everything beautifully.
I also want to commend the catering staff for a job well done. The food was amazing and was plated beautifully. I was proud of the food and service at the wedding.
The bartender was incredible. Right after the ceremony, my bridal party decided to take shots. The bartender prepared 16 shots (one non-alcoholic for my pregnant matron of honor), in about 2 minutes flat. I was impressed! Also, no one was left standing at the bar unattended for more than a few seconds.
Last thing! The DJ was incredible! He sings and also plays instruments. He had asked us a few songs that we wanted to hear ahead of time, and kind of worked off that theme. It was a blast, and everyone enjoyed all the music he played!

There aren't enough words to describe how perfect our wedding was. Julie Fabozzi was our planner and she was AMAZING. This venue is perfect, and all crew members were professional, friendly, and the experience could not have been any better. There are so many moving parts to every wedding and Julie tied them all up in a fancy bow as far as I'm concerned. Sunquest has amazing packages and having a planner like Julie is truly the icing on the cake. She orchestrated and organized a huge event with 100 guests that went off without a hitch. Any changes that were made or extras that were thrown in were carried out perfectly. There is not one thing we would have changed about our wedding and if we had it to do all over again, we would most definitely choose the Solaris. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! I can't thank them enough for making our big day so wonderful.

I am not exaggerating when I say that our wedding aboard the Solaris was perfect in every way. My fiance and mother handled a majority of the planning with event coordinator Julie (who was excellent, professional, calming and a fantastic guide for the night) with less than three months to pull a wedding together.

The venue is unique and upscale, the food was incredible (again no exaggeration), Julie handled delivery of the cake and other details, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming that I felt we had known them for years. My family had an amazing time, and my husband and I both agree it was the perfect day thanks to Julie and the Solaris staff! We can't say enough and we're recommending this venue to anyone and everyone who will listen. :)

I had my wedding as a sunset private charter 10/29/2016 and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and venue. My communication was mainly through email and Kristi & Julie, the wedding coordinators were easy to contact and quick to get back to me. The food was delicious and that speaks volumes as most of my guests were from New Orleans where we are known for good food. We used the house dj and he did a wonderful job keeping the music going and the guests entertained. It is a week later and I am still receiving compliments from guests that attended and guests who did not but saw pics of the ceremony. I highly recommend Solaris for a wedding or even a private party. Thank you so much for taking my special day and elevating it into a unique and memorable experience for my wedding and my guests!!

Everything was wonderful! Kristi and Julie were awesome! Two weeks before our wedding my husband and I changed our reception to the sun quest cruise and we are so glad we did! Even though we planned our reception in two weeks everything was amazing! My family and friends can't stop talking about it! The food was awesome and the boat was beautiful! We primarily work with Julie (one of their provided wedding coordinators) she responded quickly to all my e-mails and made changes that I wanted quickly when needed. At the wedding Julie was sweet, attentive and very professional. I can't say enough about how much we loved everything! The only minor disclaimer I have is that even if you rent out the 2nd deck the public cruise ticket holders are allowed to (and have to) walk through the 2nd deck to get to the top deck....but don't let that stop you from using sun quest cruise for your reception I can't say how happy we are that I used them!

This yacht was the most incredible reception location for my husband and I, along with our 55 guests. The food was phenomenal! The love music was well enjoyed by all of our guest. He even did a great job on our ceremony songs! Fireworks on the pier was an awesome treat!

The Solaris was a perfect Venue for my Daughters Wedding! From the very 1st phone I placed to them, the professionalism was saw. The wedding planner responds promptly to all questions and even encourages additional questions. She worked with my photographer and they created a timeline that kept the flow of the wedding and photographs on time. Every was able to enjoy the reception. The in house DJ is a MUST!!!! He was phenomenal!!! He sings, plays live music, and has the recorded requests as well. Every was blown away when they realized he was the one singing. We thought is was pre-recorded music until we saw him down stairs. The food was the best "wedding" food we've ever had! It was 5 star quality for sure! Everything was just perfect!! I highly recommend this all inclusive venue!

I just had my wedding (ceremony and reception) aboard the Solaris on 3.6.15 and there is not one bad thing I can say. Everything was flawless from start to finish!! The setting was so intimate and setting sail at sunset provided the most beautiful backdrop imaginable. We had the flowers in house and they were absolutely stunning. And it only got better once the reception started. The food is some of the best that I've ever had at any wedding and everyone's glasses stayed full. We also chose to use the in house entertainment which was definitely the way to go. Not only did he play an acoustic guitar during the procession but he acted as our DJ for the reception and was really great at getting a feel of what the crowd was into. All of our guests have not stopped talking about how it was the coolest wedding they'd ever been too! To have a coordinator like Kristi on site who was able to keep things rolling was just a godsend, she made the entire process from start to finish way less stressful. Picking this venue was by far the best decision we could have made. A million thanks to the Solaris for helping to make this the best day of my life. I can't wait to make it back aboard someday!!!

I had my reception aboard the Solaris in May of 2013. My wife and I had a fantastic time. The ship easily fit our 50 guests, had a great venue for dancing and other activities, and had LITERALLY the best wedding dinner I have ever had. I was impressed with the menu even before tasting them, but even today I still have guests tell me how great the food was ( and I agree). Despite high winds preventing us from actually sailing, Sunset Cruises worked hard to make our reception great. They exceeded our expectations.

we had our wedding and reception on the solaris and i have to honestly say our wedding turned out to be our fairy tale wedding!! its was absolutely amazing although it just didnt seem to last long enough time flew by lol!!! we would love to do our wedding all over again on the yacht!!!! it was perfectly phenominal and our guest talked about the wedding for days!!!! i highly recomend having your wedding on the solaris you will not regret it we will definately take a dinner cruise on our 1st yr. ann.!!!!!

Loved everything about the Solaris and the entire staff. Everyone made us feel important, requests and questions were answered quickly. Kristi, the wedding coordinator was so flexible and accommodating. She was quick to respond to emails and phone calls, never taking more than a few hours. She had all kinds of ideas and information to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted. Everything I asked for her, she executed just like we had talked about. There were no surprises. Our guests had a wonderful time, food was delicious, bartenders kept everyone's drinks full. Perfect!!!

This was the wedding of my dreams !!!!!!!! I would recommend the The Solaris to anyone that wants an unforgettable event. The staff is fantastic !!! They will help you plan you wedding from start to finish. My guest still talk about how beautiful and unforgettable my wedding was. I had people asking me during my wedding if I would have an anniversary party every year !!!!! It is a fantastic value and simply the best place to have a wedding !!!!!! I can not say enough about the wonderful staff !!!!!! I would recommend The Solaris again and again !!!!!!

We had our wedding this past week onboard SOLARIS and we could not possible be any happier! This was the most magnificent venue!!! Food and service were nothing short of SPECTACULAR! The Event Coordinators with SOLARIS are some of the most creative individuals on the planet! Everyone at SOLARIS were such a joy to work with and many times they told us not to worry they would take care of everything and that they did. SOLARIS by far, exceeded our expectations and we will recommend to everyone! THANK YOU TO ALL AT SOLARIS for making our special day one to remember and hold dear to our hearts forever!

We had dinner after our wedding here and it was great. The food was good, the atmosphere was great. The singer did wonderful and we had our first dance on the boat.

Jessica at sunquest did an awesome job helping me plan my reception. Having it on a dinner cruise was fantastic and all of my guests were impressed with the service and delicious food. I highly recommend using them for your wedding/reception. It was great!

They made everything absolutely perfect and amazing. The night went so smoothly thanks to them, and I didnt have to worry about a thing, I was truly able to just enjoy we wedding. They are very well organized and helpful. In fact I was having so much fun I wanted to prolong the party at last minute, they said no problem, and everyone stayed a little later to worked and were still in high spirits. I would highly recommend them for a wedding reception or any private party.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! Julie made sure all of my (very specific) wants & needs were met. I was a little stressed out about having everything set up without me being there to have total control, but when I got to the yacht, everything was PERFECT. The DJ suggested by the boat was wonderful too! He played an acoustic set of Beatles music for my ceremony & it really set the mood for the breezy sunset ceremony. The bartenders were lovely; the waitstaff was very helpful; & the kitchen staff were very accommodating. We had a guest who received his requested meal, only to find out that it had mushrooms (an allergy of his). Julie quickly got another meal out to him so he could still eat with everyone else. There were many menu options & they were all delicious! We even got 2 meals prepared to-go in case we didn't eat much during the reception. I would absolutely be giving this venue 5 stars in each category, except that the carpet, wall paper, & standard chairs on the boat are pretty hideous & I felt like it effected the overall value of the venue. I rented pipe & drape just to hide the back wall in the dining room & tons of chiavari chairs to replace the bright red ones provided. This yacht would be so much classier looking with something like navy blue or dark grey carpeting, & a crisp wall color rather than the outdated yellowy textured hue there now. Other than that, Sunquest exceeded our expectations & we would strongly recommend it for any kind of event!

Sunquest was great! What a unique experience for all of our guests. They still havent stopped talking about it. Staff was amazing as well as the food!! We wish we would have extended our reception for longer because we were all having such a wonderful time!

Wonderful Staff (especially Jeremy!!)

I was the maid of honor at a wedding and opted to do a video toast - I can't say enough about Jeremy from the Solaris yacht! He offered to meet with me before the wedding to ensure all the technology worked, and he was incredibly supportive and helpful the day of the wedding as well. The staff during the wedding were all very friendly and kind, making the whole experience one to remember! The food was very good as well!

Amazing Time

When I tell you the staff is amazing reasonable price and is willing to accommodate your every need. Truly amazing and Julie our wedding coordinator was amazing to us where we just got married and even our family bragged about them

They forgot to give me my wedding cake. They shipped my cake 3 weeks later and it arrived smashed and upside down! It was horrible. Thankfully they went to Publix bakery and reordered the top tier. Customer service was amazing!!

There is nothing comparable to sailing the ocean waters on your Wedding Day!
Solaris and the crew made this happen. It was such a unique experience and it left a wonderful impact on everyone who came to celebrate with us on our special day! I planned everything from North Carolina for this destination wedding and Kristi was constantly responding through email, phone and getting things done. She's got a great positive personality so it makes her easy to talk to during the planning process.
First: The food that was prepared by their Chef from Hawaii was absolutely amazing! I've never had better food at a wedding!
Second: The captain of the ship was very sweet, read us our vows and when we were all drunk on the dance floor, he was a good sport when I pulled him out to dance with me! lol
Third: Kristi! Thanks for everything!
The only things I would change:
I had worked very hard on picking the right music out for everything. I had prepared TWO songs for my walk down the isle.. unfortunately we were not able to practice beforehand and I only received my fast beach song (for bridesmaids and groomsmen) and not my slow isle song.. everyone was flustered and I was unintentionally flustered up the stairs before the slow song came on or the DJ was prepared for my walk.. it was a bit devastating.... its okay though lol because now I just laugh it off .
So with that said, id recommend the live band music instead of the DJ. I felt like even with the effort I put in to pick the music, the Dj didn't get everything I chose, but only used what he had in his collection. It was a let down. BUT PLEASE -- DO NOT let this scare you at all. I know it can be a big deal for most brides, just remember this is a great staff and they will not let this happen again!
I am so pleased with everything else, if I had not been, my rating would be different :)

Kristi and the Crew accomplished everything and I was stress FREE!

I had my wedding onboard the Solaris this past weekend and it was amazing. Everything looked beautiful!! I put together my centerpieces but when I went down the stairs and saw the room I was stunned! I couldn't have imagined it better. The staff did such an amazing job of putting everything together. It was absolutely my dream wedding! Everyone is still talking about how the next family member is going to top it. Everything flowed so nicely thanks to my coordinator Kristi. And the food? What can I say...it was delicious. Much better than any wedding food I have ever had. My mother-in-law even liked the grits! Now that's saying something. Everyone was so impressed and had an amazing time. I wouldn't have wanted it in any other venue. Thank you Sunquest staff for an unforgettable wedding!

The weather was challenging but the staff was so flexible. We decided to get married on the boat Nd it worked out perfect!!! The service was flawless and the food was amazing!!! Ll of our cuest(very small crowd) enjoyed it. We will cruise with you again next time we are in the area. Thank you to everyone of you who made our wedding day spectacular!!!

We had our reception aboard the Solaris. It was a great idea for a reception. Our guests enjoyed the experience of dining aboard a boat. The staff was wonderful. Both Kristy and Jessica were so friendly and easy to work with. The food was delicious. We used the house entertainment...which is David Hall. He did an excellent job. He felt the crowd out and when he saw we loved to dance he played the best music. He sang some songs and played any request we had. I would definitely recommend this for a reception. We had the entire boat to ourselves which I would say is a must if using it for your wedding. They offer packages that is not private and I would not recommend that. It's your day and you want that to be about you and your family, so it's a must to have the entire boat for you.

Helpful, can-do staff attitude with a desire to please!

Destination Wedding

We had a small wedding of 38 people and lived 16 hrs away from Destin . With the very helpful Wedding planner Julie was able to take everything we wanted and turn our vision into reality. The day of everything went smooth and turned out beautifully because Julie and staff had everything under control. The vendor list they supplied was very helpful we can’t rave how awesome the make up artist Tara from Powder & paint did our make up. All of our guest loved the cake by the cake destination . This venue makes for awesome pictures. The Dj was our least favorite of the event we had to tell him what songs to play to get our guest to dance.

The Solaris was such a beautiful place to book my wedding. They stay booked so I would make sure to give yourself months to a year ahead of time to book. My package included all of my food, linens, ceremony officiant, decorations, and wedding coordinator. We had the ceremony atop of the beautiful deck and finished with the reception on the first floor dining room while the yacht sailed around the bay. It was so lovely and unique. The Solaris helped make my wedding such a dream come true!

Please do your research, especially if you plan on having an elegant wedding....IT IS NOT A ONE STOP SHOPPING VENUE...if you want mediocre, than so be it... this is the spot for you.
I hope they have time helping you to prepare while they are so busy preparing for others.
If there was an option Zero or negative stars they'd definitely get a negative. Ask all questions before giving any type of deposit.

If your ok with being told, "I don't think your guests will notice" go for it. I am more than happy to speak with anyone regarding my experience. I have emails to back up this review
