I had my wedding at summitview Banquet Hall. The staff went above and beyond. The food was great staff was attentive and kind to all guests. Definitely would recommend. Cassie and staff definitely did not disappoint. -

Cassie and the crew amazing from the day we started planning my daughters wedding to the day of. Wedding was supposed to be outside but weather was not on our side. The staff brought everything in poo ring rain and got everything set up. We never panicked because this staff was on everything. Food amazing. Definitely will recommend people coming here. There was not one thing I can say negative about this place and staff. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts on such an amazing day. You really made my daughter extremely happy with everything. I want to come here to renew my wedding vows with this amazing staff… -

I would 1000% recommend Hamels Creative Catering! They did an outstanding job — everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. They are extremely professional and experienced, and they exceeded my expectations in every way.
I had multiple touchpoints with Tony, and we did several tastings to fine-tune the menu exactly to what I wanted. They were so flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process.
Cassie helped on the day of the event, and she was truly amazing. She handled everything with excellence — thank you, Cassie! -

Off site wedding catering! Well organized, responsive, great food!
People would not stop RAVING about how good the food was! I booked Hamels/Summit View to cater my off-site wedding and they were absolutely amazing, they exceeded my expectations! The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, arrived early to set up, needed little to no direction, they were absolutely on top of it and made it run smoothly! Even the other vendors commented on how organized they are! Our coordinator loved working with them, they were super sweet, proactive and absolutely on top of everything! The fan favorites were the spinach dip, mini Ruben’s and the chicken parm! I personally won’t stop talking about the spinach dip. We ended up with a bunch of left over food, the staff packed it all up, labeled it and left it for us. It was all very well organized, I really can’t say enough good things about them! The pricing is also fantastic, we ended up doing the grazing table for cocktail hour and it was absolutely stunning and a massive hit! I would recommend them to anyone getting married! They offer such a variety of food in their packages for a reasonable price! -

My wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything I could’ve dreamed of. The staff was great, the food was amazing, and the venue is beautiful. I would absolutely recommend to anyone else that is looking for a wedding venue.. we had so many compliments on the food and how cute the pavilion was. Most people don’t even know this space is here. Compared to other venues that we checked out this was very reasonably priced. We were able to stay within budget and have a great day. -

This summit view was absolutely perfect for our wedding! They were so incredibly helpful from planning, to rehearsal, to ceremony, to reception, and beyond! The staff was absolutely incredible- especially Cassie, Abbie, Lexie, and Alicia! Every single one of them truly made sure that our day was perfect in every way- even when it was down pouring! The food was amazing and everyone raved about everything! I would do it 1000x over with the summit view! -

We did our wedding outside the pavilion. The hanging rustic theme was exactly what I wanted. They also have white round tables for an extra charge and Im so glad we did it! Everything was perfect! Abbie and her team were amazing!! -

We had our Jack & Jill at Summit View this past weekend. Initially it was supposed to be outside. The weather was getting bad and we even had a tornado watch. Tony was awesome and allowed us to move the event indoors because it was open. He checked on me all night to make sure I was good. Anything I needed, Tony and Lexi were there. They make a great team. I really enjoyed Lexi and her team. They were all very accommodating and super helpful. I highly recommend the Summit View for all party and event needs. -

Amazing food with amazing prices
My husband and I chose Hamel's Creative catering for our wedding this June and could not have been happier.
They communicated so well and have amazing options to choose from.
They ended up helping set up most of our decor and place setting as we had an outdoor reception, and they did the most beautiful job doing so. Not seeing the tables until you arrive can be nerve racking but they worked tirelessly all day to make sure everything was perfect. They were there long before the reception and stayed after to put dishes away and clean them for us. The servers themselves were so friendly and on top of everything!
As for the food, our guests kept saying how great everything was and I could not agree more! Not only that, but their portions are amazing (we ended up bringing home so many leftovers!). We even had a charcuterie grazing table that they ended up loading more than I thought they would for options which was so beautifully done!
The service of the staff, and the quality and quantity of the food is outstanding for the price.
I would highly recommend Hamels for a wedding or event.

I can’t possibly say enough about Tony and his incredible team at Hamels/Summit View. We hosted our wedding there over Memorial Day weekend and all the way from the planning stages to the execution of the event to even the clean up process Tony and his team really went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch. The food was INCREDIBLE and can understand why they have been rated #1 by MassLive year over year but also the fact that it was hot all the way through dinner service! We were able to get in the day of at 8am to setup and between Tony, the cooks, and the servers/bartenders everyone made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Thats top notch hospitality in my book. I don’t think we could’ve lifted a finger if we tried to without someone being right there to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Tony and your amazing crew for making our wedding special. You guys really went above and beyond for us and for that we are truly thankful. -

Our experience working with Summit View was a all around great experience. Brenda and the entire staff were there for us from beginning to the end. The food was excellent and we received nothing but praise from all our guests regarding it. The only complaint from guests was that they ate too much and couldn't dance as much as they wanted because they were full!. Highly recommend them for future weddings. -

I cannot express how amazing my wedding day was. Throughout my planning Brenda was super responsive and helpful. I didn’t know what I was doing half the time as a new bride, but Brenda was extremely kind and patient and helpful. The day of my wedding was amazing. The grounds for the ceremony were beautiful, and inside for the reception everything was set up exactly how I wanted it. Every single guest raved about the food and Chef Tony came to check on us multiple times throughout the night. The waitstaff was incredible and so attentive! I highly recommend Summit View and Hamel’s for your wedding! -

My now Husband and I had our wedding in September and Hamel's was the one who catered it. It was so delicious! We chose the chicken cordon bleu and the yankee pot roast and our guests were raving about it! Not only was the food and presentation beautiful, the staff was wonderful. They were so attentive and let me know what was happening every step of the way. Hamel's allowed me to customize my social hour selections and did a charcuterie board for me and it was so gorgeous! It really was eye catching and our guests were thrilled about it. Thank you so much to the Hamel's team for all your hard work to make our wedding so awesome! -

Outstanding in "All Facets of The Game" from FOTB
Hamels Creative Catering, Brenda Lee and the on-site team helped make our wedding a huge success! The food was excellent, servers professional, courteous and very personable. Brenda Lee was a great help, "hand holding," throughout the process. She gently offered suggestions and options to the many things we didn't know about and was always an email or phone call away.
I can't say enough about our experience, It far exceeded our expectations and the cost was very fair compared to other places we looked at.
I recommend Hamels without reserve or hesitation to anyone looking for a high end caterer at a reasonable price! -

Hamel's not only provided us with delicious food for our wedding, but absolutely enhanced our experience overall with their ability to accommodate our needs while remaining flexible all the way around. From the servers, to the quality of food, to the smaller details like napkins and placement of dishes, we would not have wanted to do this with any other company. Major shout out to Brenda (director of sales and marketing) who fielded my menagerie of questions at a moments notice. Her experience in this field in invaluable and I am so thankful to have had her as a resource! -

Loved Summit View’s pavilion and gazebo, had our ceremony and reception all in one place. Beautiful lawns for photos and lawn games, the staff were terrific, and Hamel’s Catering provided a great buffet that everyone really enjoyed. -

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Summit View Pavilion last weekend. It was an amazing evening!!! The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was beyond delicious and very affordable. I worked with Brenda throughout the process of planning the reception and she was so honest, kind and organized. The day of our reception we worked with Tony who was also so organized and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed (and more) throughout the night. The bartenders and servers were so fun to hangout with and poured great drinks. If you’re considering having an event here, do it! You will not regret it. We found Summit View 4 months before our wedding, after learning out original venue was closing. I did some looking around and found Summit View, and they had our wedding date available so I booked that day. Brenda was so kind, professional, and a huge help to a bride who was freaking out due to massive plans changing so soon before the day. She was so accommodating to making sure out day was going to work out the way we hoped, and made sure I was on track every step of the way.
All of our guests RAVED about the food, and in particular how amazing the staff was! Everyone was so helpful and kind. It really became a blessing in disguise that we had to pick a new venue, because Summit View was really the perfect place. -

I worked with Hamels on a wedding I was coordinating this past weekend, and they were amazing to work with the whole time. Brenda was incredibly responsive and never skipped a beat at helping us plan the perfect day for my clients. No one would have known when it said scattered showers expected that and it was actually going to be torrential downpours with flash flooding. Under our tent basically turned into a mud pit and our servers were absolutely amazing and worked so hard even though they were enduring a torrential downpour. I couldn't believe how kind they were, and how they kept it together despite the circumstances! 10/10 recommend! -

It was such a Perfect day!
Originally, like a lot of 2020 brideS we had a big wedding planned for over 200 people. Covid hit and we had to cancel. We were so upset that we couldn’t have all the people who mean the world to us come to our big day. We Ended up having a wedding of 38 people and I Wouldn’t change it. It was a beautiful intimate day. The staff at the summit view made sure our day was perfect and that we were taken care of. It was a pleasure working with Cassie, Abbie, Aubrey, Tony, Edie, and Kayla. They made our wedding day perfect. Did I mentions that the Food was awesome! -

Outdoor wedding
When we first were engaged, we made it very clear we didn't want all the big fancy works for our wedding, we wanted a big space for all the kids to play and run around and be able to enjoy the outdoors for both ceremony and reception!
With the summit view we were able to have our ceremony and reception outside. Beautiful nature and scenery.
Food was amazing, I recieved nothing but compliments on the food and even the whole venue together. The venue fit our personalities perfect! Kids all had a blast, the bartenders were great, the hosts, the cooks were amazing and I really couldn't have asked for a better day. Had such a great time working with brenda and her staff, I wouldn't change it for the world! They took all of my doubts and made sure everything was perfect!

My husband and I are very happy we held our wedding reception at Summit View -- their team was an absolute pleasure to work with, and the food was fantastic.
We discovered Summit View after cancelling our first venue after a bad tasting, and it was so refreshing to meet Tony Basile, the Executive Chef and GM. It's clear that he cares very much about serving his guests a great food experience, and he absolutely delivered. We appreciate the challenge of preparing food in large quantities, and we were blown away by the tenderness of the meats, the quality of the vegetables, and the flexibility in serving our more dietarily restricted guests. For reference, we went with the Grand Wedding Buffet, which was more than plenty of food for everyone -- the husband and I will be happily eating leftovers for days.
The rest of the banquet team was an absolute treat to work with. Our coordinator was a woman named Brenda, who has a great deal of experience organizing events and especially weddings, and it shows. We met her for the first time a few weeks before the wedding, and immediately I felt much more confident about how our reception would go. She was very familiar with our florist, cake guy, and DJ, and she helped us make decisions about decor and set up. Brenda is also fantastically organized and incredibly responsive; she always responded before I scheduled follow-up emails or phone calls, and her answers were always very detailed.
Brenda wasn't there for the actual reception, but the banquet team was well equipped and very happy to serve us. (Shout-out to Abbie, Kayle, and Kylie; and apologies for any misspellings.) I didn't get a chance to go over the specific set up for the decor that we had prepared, but between Brenda and the team, they did a brilliant job of making the hall *ours*. My husband and I visited very briefly, before the wedding craziness had fully kicked off, and there was nothing that needed tweaking or rearranging. During the reception itself, the team ensured that we were well fed and well-watered, and they went above and beyond to keep our guests happy. (One of our guests shared a story of an impromptu tea party that was set up for a precocious four-year-old and her friend, and I saw some of our guests head over to the bar to check in on the Bruins game.)
We can't recommend Summit View enough for similar events. We had such a good time!
For the curious, the dance floor in the banquet hall is 19" x 12", and we had 57 guests (not including ourselves). The banquet hall can handle at least 2-2.5 times as many people, and there is also an outdoor pavilion. It happened to be the case that were was another event happening at the same time as our reception, in the pavilion, and we didn't hear a thing in the banquet hall. -

The menu selection is fantastic... everyone wanted second and third helpings of the vegetable lasagna, and not even the vegetarians! I told my husband we need to find an excuse to have them cater an event again soon. The value? Nothing compares! They could easily charge more for the quality of the food and service. FANTASTIC! -

We eloped earlier in the year and decided to have an after wedding celebration here! Brenda was phenomenal to work with, very responsive and helpful with planning. Great Caterer
We booked Hamel's for our wedding on 10/14/22, and the food was so amazing! We got so many compliments on it and they even wrapped up all the leftovers for us to take home. It has been great to enjoy it with friends all over again. The service on the day of was also exceptional! They setup all the place settings and any tables where food was served, and even lit candles that we had in the tent during cocktail hour for us. They knew were were busy with guests and made plates for my husband and I too. They also cut the cake and put that out for guests. Brenda was very helpful in the booking and planning process. The only issue we had was we received some last minute info that caused an extra cost on table cloths. Because our venue has different sized tables, the standard table cloths that came with the package would've looked inconsistent throughout the tent so to make them all consistently full length it was an extra cost per table cloth, and we didn't find this out until about 2 weeks before the wedding. So just recommend asking these types of questions early on so you are aware, but overall definitely recommend booking Hamel's for any of your catering needs. -

I had my wedding reception at the Summit View on Sept 25th 2021. The party was great. All of my guests said they had a fabulous time. The food was ok. My scrod was a bit dry, and the prime rib looked well done. The staff was great! Very attentive, and pleasant to work with. I had the staff put my decorations up for me, as I didnt have time to do this based on other events going on at this place. One of my table gifts to my guests at each place setting was not put out. They had to get them out of the refrigerator in another location. They put them out on a table. I asked the staff to please give these to my guests personally and they immediately did what I asked. Other than that, the organization and schedule ran smooth. The staff coordinated great with my DJ and Photo Booth stand. The staff even had fun with taking their own pictures for my collection haha. The bartenders were awesome. Our beautiful specialty cocktails were amazing, and was a huge hit at the reception. The event coordinator Brenda Lee was top notch and was excellent to work with. I would definitely use this venue again for a party and would suggest this venue to others. -

Wedding under the pavilion
Overall this venue is a great choice. They are for the most part a great option financially. They were very kind with every encounter. Staff was excellent, we worked with Cassie and Tony and both were absolutely great! They made everything easy to understand. Weddings are stressful enough so having a good venue is key. Definitely happy we chose summit view. -
