  It was literally magic…

  I can’t even express how amazing our wedding was because of this venue and Starr and Matt. I jokingly told Starr she could have my first born because of how incredible this day and process was for us. We planned this completely out of state and only had one visit to the ranch, which was the day we decided this was our venue. Starr gave us so much direction and so many tips to get us going, but we had complete freedom to coordinate whatever we wanted. Starr was always so responsive during the 8 months of planning. We did our rehearsal dinner at the venue, which was great for our most important people to lay eyes on this magical place ahead of time. Wedding day was so seamless. Starr and Matt were buzzing around and never once came to me with issues. They either figured them out behind the scenes or with my point person bridesmaid and everything turned out better than I could have asked for. Our guests have been raving out our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier. If you’re considering this venue, just know that you can’t go wrong. There’s such a personal touch when you work with these amazing people and this amazing venue that I truly feel we could not have gotten elsewhere. When we looked at other venues, they felt so cookie cutter and impersonal. I could go on and on, but basically there’s no doubt that this was the perfect day. I am so grateful to Starr and Matt for making a dream I didn’t even know I had come true!

  One word...PERFECTION! Thank you to Star, Matt, Alex and Summer for making our day more than we could have ever hoped for! We hired Summer Star for their day of services and we couldn't have been more thrilled that we did. They handled everything and we just relaxed and enjoyed our day! And the venue was spectacular-gorgeous barn, gorgeous views and gorgeous pictures...It was our dream day!

  Summer Star is AMAZING!

  Starr, Matt and Alex go above and beyond for you on your wedding day/weekend. Matt and Alex worked their butts off Friday and Saturday to get everything set up perfectly. They both equally check in with you and make sure everything goes just the way you want it. HIGHLY suggest doing the day of service. You wont regret it. 1000/10!!

  AMAZING venue. I cannot say enough good things. Starr was incredible to work with and she was also our day of coordinator which I HIGHLY recommend. She helped us set up EVERYTHING, and made sure the wedding day ran smoothly! We could not have had the day turn out without her! She helped us during the whole wedding process. So kind and flexible!   Stress free rustic Montana wedding

  If you’re looking for a venue that has a rustic Montana vibe with sprinkles of city chic, this is the place. Matt and Starr went above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality. Matt answered all our questions during the initial tour and we felt at ease knowing we found the perfect spot. I’m a bit of a type A planner, and they were quick to respond to my emails and offered great suggestions. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing the day-of coordination service. It took so much stress off me knowing they would orchestrate the whole day. I met with Starr prior to the wedding day and told her all of my ideas. She’s so talented and beautifully put my vision to life without question. My family stayed at the cabins on the property - it was so fun and convenient to all be there! The barn is absolutely beautiful and the long farmhouse tables and wood chairs really elevate the area. The reception on the back patio was a blast! We had a fun bar, a roaring fire with marshmellows and hot dogs, and of course corn hole! Overall, it was a beautiful venue and the day was perfect thanks to them.

  An Absolute Dream!!

  I can’t recommend Summer Star Ranch enough! We had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago and it was the most perfect day ever! The venue is absolutely stunning with so many places to take amazing photos and the getting ready spaces were awesome as well! And the owners are absolutely fabulous. Right from the very first time we contacted Starr and Matt to set up a tour, I knew that I wanted to have our wedding at their ranch purely based on how helpful and nice they are to work with. And so it was just an awesome bonus that the venue is gorgeous! We also decided to hire Starr for her day of services and that was quite possibly one of the best decisions we made in the planning process. She was such a huge help in getting everything set up exactly the way I envisioned it and was amazing at keeping us on track and making sure everyone knew what was needed of them and at what times. Our day went so smoothly in large part due to her and her assistant’s amazing work!
  And I have to say, while pictures can show a lot, it really is a different experience being able to visit the ranch in person. There’s just so much beautiful land! So give them a call and set up a tour, you won’t regret it!

  Best Venue in Montana

  If you are on the fence about booking your wedding at Summer Star Ranch. DO IT.
  We could not have had a better experience for our wedding. They have truly thought of everything for the perfect venue. The owners were some of the kindest and most genuine people. They ensured, through the whole weekend that we had everything we could possibly need and we’re so great at answering any questions we had.
  The ranch is absolutely beautiful. If I could give them 100 stars I would.

  Summer Star Ranch

  All the work and the stress out into wedding planning and you show up for your big day to am already gorgeous venue with the beautiful twinkling lights and the ceremony set up and the stress just melts away, unlike the snow that coated our beautiful day. My husband and I fell in love with the venue on our first tour, and it was the perfect choice, they were extremely easy to work with and very helpful.

  all the day of. She was so trustworthy & got
  everything set up & done the day of without any
  obstacles. She checked in on us continuously
  during the day to make sure we had everything we
  needed while also allowing space & time to
  celebrate our day accordingly. If you're looking for
  a wedding venue that incorporates all the special
  aspects of Montana, this is it. The views, the
  private location, & the rustic barn is perfect for an
  indoor/outdoor wedding.

  Amazing July 20, 2022 Wedding

  We chose Summer Starr Ranch as the location for our wedding after researching numerous vendors in Montana. I am so thankful we did because we could not have found a more friendly team than Matt and Starr. The tent was private and beautifully decorated. The scenery would take your breathe away. The trail rides were so relaxing and Matt was so kind as to take our photography along to snap some photos on the trail. It was the perfect spot for our wedding and we are so thankful for everything Matt and Starr did to make our day perfect!

Most of my extended family is from New York and California and they were all so amazed by how beautiful the location is. We were slightly concerned about the long drive from town to the ranch but it really was not a problem at all. We opted to use a shuttle service and our family had so much fun on the bus. We also loved the overnight stay in the clamping tent! It was such a perfect way to end our wedding weekend. The price, location, and amazing owners make Summer Star Ranch the best wedding venue in Helena.

  Perfect Montana Wedding Venue

  Summer Star Ranch was super accommodating to our needs leading up to our wedding, answering all our questions promptly and offering suggestions when needed. The venue itself was the perfect place for our wedding, I loved that it was happily tucked in the forest. Our out of country and state guests were super impressed.

  Beautiful Place Run by Amazing People

  Star and Matt at Summer Star Ranch are amazing! The ranch it's self is so beautiful and remote and everything you could want from a mountain/forest wedding. It was a destination wedding for us and Star and Matt had the best recommendations for vendors and decor and did everything they could to make our day perfect. Highly recommend!!

It was a destination wedding for us and Star and Matt had the best recommendations for vendors and decor and did everything they could to make our day perfect. Highly recommend!!

  Summer Star Ranch

  Summer Star Ranch is one of the most beautiful venues we've seen. The location is perfectly tucked away in the mountains and gives you a truly secluded feeling, yet you still have cell phone service and aren't too far away from town.
  We rented this venue last weekend for our daughter wedding. There was plenty of seating outside for the ceremony and inside for the reception. There is plenty of covered (and lit) patio space for so everyone is not crammed together.
  We rented the glamping tent and family cabin for Friday and Saturday nights which allowed the bridal party plenty of time to get ready. Both the tent and the cabin were equipped with everything we could have needed, and those beds....like sleeping on a cloud!
  As if the venue wasn't berfect enough, the owners and staff were phenomenal to work with. They parked our guests, kept a head count for us so that we knew how close we were to our RSVP count, checked in frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. They went in and cleaned the tent during the ceremony so the bride and groom had fresh everything for after the reception. They coordinated with the photographer, wedding coordinator, and bridal party and ensured our daughter's day went off without a hitch.
  Definitely 10 out if 10 for us! Thank you, Summer Star Ranch...we are incredibly grateful.

  Summer star ranch was amazing! The staff at summer star were super helpful and kind. They were always checking in on us and helping make sure everything went well. The venue itself is stunning and worked perfectly for our wedding. The option to rent a cabin on the property for the night of the wedding was super amazing and we highly recommend this to anyone using them. If we were to do it all again we would definitely rebook with them!
