Dessert Table and Small Wedding Cake

Had the most beautiful dessert table and small wedding cake from SugarHigh. Sent pictures for inspiration and they nailed it. We had a spread of cupcakes, cookies, and macaroons and guests raved over how delicious and expertly decorated they were. Highly recommend SugarHigh bakery!

FANTASTIC company! Great service! HIGHLY recommend!

SugarHigh Bakery was absolutely fantastic to work with for my husband and my wedding cake! The price was reasonable and the value was absolutely FANTASTIC! We got a sample platter of the most popular flavors and icings and every single one was so good that it was hard to pick (but we picked maple for one tier, cookie dough for the other, and Carmel buttercream frosting!). The bakery was very responsive to emails, great with pick up for our cake, and decorated it beautifully. Everything turned out PERFECTLY for our wedding, we got so many compliments on the taste and aesthetic of our cake decorations, and I could not be happier. We even ordered jumbo cupcakes in the maple flavor for my husband's birthday because we could not get enough. I 100% recommend SugarHigh Bakery! They are in a great location too!!

They were great! Super easy to work with, very flexible with communication (both by phone and email), and did exactly what I asked, without me even having to be there when they set up the display at my venue! Plus everything was super delicious. Would definitely recommend!

We did cupcakes and a small cutting cake through SugarHigh and they were one of the highlights of the wedding! These are some seriously delicious cupcakes. They have flavors that will make everyone on your guest list happy, which is saying a lot, coming from a couple of total food/baking snobs. :) We just finished our wedding cake that we'd been storing in the freezer and I'm honestly super sad about it. Even month old frozen cakes from SugarHigh are delicious! Delivery was super easy and the staff is really friendly as well.

We went with them cause they have the best vegan cake I had ever had. They executed my design for the cake and cupcakes beautifully. Everyone loved the cupcakes and our vegan cake was amazing. We loved that you can choose between all there flavors for the cupcakes at no extra charge. Our guest loved the variety of flavors as well. Definitely recommend them for any cake or cupcake gig that anyone needs.

Sugar High was an absolute joy to work with - and their cakes are AMAZING! I want a cupcake just thinking about them while writing this review. We ended up getting a small cake and cupcakes for our guests, the delivery fee includes set up and it is well worth it. Our cake table looked amazing! Sugar High is very responsive to email, we did majority of our correspondence by email including picking out a cake design, I sent a few pictures of what we wanted and they did a beautiful job. I highly recommend

Amazing flavor choices. We did cupcakes. Delivered over an hour away, on time. Looked beautiful. I have also had the pleasure of working with them for other weddings that I have catered in Frankenmuth. Recommend them to everyone.

We got our wedding cake from SugarHigh Bakery. They did an awesome job with the cake. It was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we asked for. Our wedding was in Frankenmuth so they delivered the cake to the venue for free. We spent about $300 on the cake which got us a 3 tier cake as well as a sheet cake (fed 85 people). We thought this pricing was very fair and was actually cheaper then other places we had looked at. There cakes and cupcakes are all awesome and we would definitely recommend using this bakery!

Our wedding cake was beautiful. They bakery was helpful and courteous every time I had to deal with them. They delivered my cake on my wedding day and it looked beautiful when I arrived at our wedding. More, the cake was delicious. I received many compliments about the cake. Also, it was nice that we got to choose a variety of flavors. You cannot go wrong with Sugar High Bakery.

Every year when my fiance and I visit Frankenmuth, this is one of our first stops! We opted for a small cake to cut and cupcakes to serve to our guests. I also surprised my fiance with a Lego Groom's Cake, which turned out awesome! We chose a handful of flavors and they were such a hit with our guests, that my fiance and I didn't even get any the night of! We had to visit the bakery the next day to get some for later! We had a guest list of 130 and ordered about 190 cupcakes. Do yourself a favor and order more than you think you'll need! They're so yummy that I guarantee you won't have any leftovers!

SugarHigh Bakery provided the cake and cupcakes for our wedding and our guests are still calling to ask us what vendor we used! As a longtime lover of all things SugarHigh, it was a no-brainer when selecting who would make our wedding cake. Heather's attention to detail, kind and honest nature and extreme talent and creativity make SugarHigh our go-to for all of our cake and cupcake needs! I didn't worry about a thing when planning our cake and cupcakes and didn't need to because Heather was so on top of everything! They never disappoint and we will, of course, continue to use them!

AMAZING! everything tasted soooo good and look beautiful! we had them make a giant cupcake with little cupcakes cascading in three/four different flavors- just absolutely amazing- cant wait to come back for our anniversay cake:)

Could not have asked for a better wedding cake! Not only was it amazingly beautiful, but very tasty! Usually you get one or the other, but we got both looks and taste ordering from SugarHigh! We chose to pick out cake up and the owner was VERY kind and helped us put everything in the vehicle and instructed us on how to prepare once we got to the venue! Highly recommend!

I absolutely love sugarhigh's cakes and the work that they do! Anytime we are in Frankenmuth it is always a must to stop for a sugar high cupcake so when it came time to book our wedding cake it was a no brainer that we wanted to work with their company. From our first cake tasting to delivering our wedding cake everything was perfect and they were so great to work with.

We got an assortment of regular sized cupcakes for our wedding. They were a hit! Everyone loved all the flavors, it was so much easier and less expensive then having a cake that feeds 140 people. They also delivered to our wedding venue. Everyone we dealt with was very accommodating and helpful. We also got a taste pack to take home, to make different combinations for ourselves of cake and frosting flavors. We loved the Quarto Leche with buttercream frosting!

I haven't had my wedding yet, but Sugar High has been awesome so far!! They were accommodating to special flavors for my mini cupcakes! They were also very flexible with my work schedule and would email me when I needed it. I am excited to see my cake and cupcakes!!

I recently had my wedding cake made by Sugarhigh, and it was everything I could have ever dreamed of! I took a picture in and asked that the cake looked as close to the picture as they could get it, and when I saw my cake on my wedding day I was moved to tears. Not only did the cake look better than the pictures, it was the best wedding cake I've ever had. It tasted so moist and delicious, I swear they made it that morning! The staff at Sugarhigh was amazing to work with and answered any and all of my questions! I will recommend Sugarhigh bakery to absolutely anyone looking for a cake or any yummy treats! They truly are amazing!!!!!

Sugarhigh was awesome, once I booked them I never had to worry about anything. I gave them an idea of what I wanted in a wedding cake and they totally blew it out of the water. Our cake was perfect and I couldn't have been happier with our finished product. It just put the icing on the cake for our special day.

Our cake was beautiful! We had a Christmas wedding and asked for a cake that looked like Christmas gifts - my husband asked where the cake was when we walked into the reception hall, he thought our cake was an actual gift! Our guests loved it so much many of them stopped by SugarHigh on their way out of town to pick up some cupcakes.

My daughter was married at the Frankenmuth Brewery over Labor Day weekend. Sugar High provided the cake and cupcakes. When we approached them with the request for all vegan cakes, they didn't blink an eye! Everyone raved about how yummy they were. ...we couldn't stop eating them! They duplicated out photos beautifully, too. Thank you Sugar High for being a part of this special time!

We ordered 11 dozen different flavored cupcakes for our wedding and they were a big hit. We chose to have cupcakes instead of a cake so everyone could have something they liked. The cupcakes were picture perfect and everyone loved the flavors. They have every flavor you can imagine!

My cake turned out even better than I had imagined. I had brought in a picture of what I wanted, and they made it look been more beautiful. We had a non traditional wedding cake that was made to look like a birch tree. I was so happy with it. We had so many compliments on it. We ended up choosing the "cherry cheesecake" cake and the "quatros leches" cake. Both tasted amazing. I will definitely use them in the future, and I definitely recommend them.

The cake was delicious!! SugarHigh staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding cake was just how we wanted it! They really took the time to listen and talk to us about getting our cake just right. They were amazing! The night of our wedding, we heard sincere compliments about how great the cake was.

My husband and I took a day trip last year to Frankenmuth to visit Bronner's, SugarHigh Bakery and other area businesses. That was also the day he proposed, so naturally, we decided our cupcakes for our wedding had to be from SugarHigh! The cupcakes we brought home that day meant a lot because of the event that took place just moments after purchasing the delicious cupcakes. When we made contact with the bakery, we were responded to the next day (via email) and then spoke with a couple of different workers on the phone to set up our consultation/tasting. They have a wonderful set up for the tasting (you get a dozen cupcakes and a dozen toppings/fillings to customize, but we chose to go with their popular flavors) and they also have the best pricing around! It was worth the hour drive from Lansing to Frankenmuth the day before the wedding to pick up! We will definitely continue to stop in when we are in the area! Thank you SugarHigh Bakery!

I have supported SugarHigh Bakery since they first opened. They were the company that helped me propose to my wife with one of her favorite cupcakes. They placed a label on top saying "Marry Me!" Heather and Adam are amazing people I am happy to know them and support them. They are very professional and create and excellent product. Everyone loved our wedding cake which consisted of 5 different cupcake flavors in a a 5 teir cake. We are very thankful for the amazing product and amazing people. We highly recommend them to all of our friends and family and will use them in the future.

Sugar High Bakery did a wonderful job on our wedding cupcakes and gluten free cake. The cupcakes were wonderful and I still have guests asking for them! Also, I am gluten free and they make gluten free cakes and cupcakes that are phenomenal! I highly recommend Sugar High Bakery! You will be headed back to the bakery after your wedding for more cake:)

SugarHigh Bakery made me the most gorgeous wedding cake! Heather and Adam were great to work with and helped me plan the cake of my dreams. It was so hard to pick flavors because they were all so delicious, so we settled on three. Heather delivered the cake, and it looked perfect. I would not chose anywhere else to get a cake if you live in Michigan. We were allowed to take our tasting home with us so that we could share it with our family and we were given 12 different flavors to taste. They also include fondant over the buttercream for free! Our cake was amazing and everyone was talking about how wonderful it tasted. Many of our guests told us that they usually don't eat wedding cake but they had two or three pieces of ours.

I love this place!! We were referred here by our officiant and have never gotten cake anywhere else. Heather is amazing and created the exact cake I had in my head. It was elegant and delicious! I received an enormous amounts of compliments on the cake. We also had 5 dozen cupcakes, and Heather was more than accomodating when I needed to up it to 8 dozen cupcakes, and readily accepted any changes I needed to make to the cake, including the frosting colors on the cupcakes. We also were able to get 6 flavors of cake, so there was so much variety for our guests. This bakery is amazing, and we still go there to get our cupcakes!!
Also, if you don't freeze the top of your cake, Heather offers to make you a 6" cake on your one year anniversary!! Wonderful customer service, wonderful cake!

SugarHigh literally has the BEST tasting wedding cake that we had ever experienced! It was half the cost of the other bakery in Frankenmuth where we were married, and we had and extra tier!! The cake was exactly what I had in mind, it looked so much better than I had imagined!! Anything we wanted, SugarHigh provided. We live about 120 miles from SugarHigh and we drive there four times a year for our children's birthday cakes as well!!! We also stop in every time we visit Frankenmuth and grab a few of their amazing cupcakes.

I would recommend SugarHigh to EVERY couple looking for a wedding cake. The cake is going to look AMAZING and more importantly TASTE INCREDIBLE!!!

Sugarhigh did such an amazing job on our wedding cake! We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect on our special day. Heather was so helpful through everything. It was beautiful and delicious, we got so many compliments from our guests.

I absolutely loved working with Heather at SugarHigh Bakery, from the moment we started our planning I knew we had made the Right decision. Her bubbly personality and fantastically amazing artistic skilled wowed us and we had no worries about how our cake and dessert bar would turn out. I sent her ideas and pictures that I would like and she was able to create a lovely display at our reception! On top of the presentation I of course have to mention the flavor, it was sooo great! We have contiued using their bakery for baby showers and birthdays!

SO yummy! Sugar High was so great to work with for our wedding cake! The taste of their cake was definitely the selling point for us! My fiance and I are not huge cake fans, but Sugar High really made us cake lovers! Their flavors are delicious! We couldn't decide, and ended up having 3 different cake flavors for our 4-tiered cake! The sprinkle flavor was definitely a hit! Sugar High made our vision come to life and executed the most beautiful and elegant wedding cake. They were easy to work with and reasonably priced. Thanks, Dawn for all of your work and expertise! Can't wait to enjoy that top tier on our first anniversary (if we can hold out that long) :)

SugarHigh made our 4-tier art deco wedding cake; not only was it exactly what we wanted and beautiful to behold, but it tasted amazing, too!! We went with two tiers of pumpkin and cream cheese and two tiers of mudslide with chocolate mousse. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how stunning the cake was, and how delicious it tasted! At the end of the night, we offered leftover pieces of cake to our guests to take home, and within 5 minutes not a slice was left! Thank you so much, SugarHigh!!!!!

Sugar High specializes in cupcakes, but makes amazing wedding cakes as well! They are also able to provide for a variety of dietary needs including gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan!

Sugar High made amazing gluten-free and dairy free cupcakes for my wedding so that all of my guests could enjoy them. If I didn't know that they were gluten-free, I wouldn't have believed it! My cupcakes and cake were gorgeous and delicious!

For my wedding, I want cupcakes for the guests and a small cake for cutting. Their tester program is awesome (they give you a dozen of their most popular cupcakes and frosting/fillings to try before you order for your wedding). I told them what cupcakes we wanted and what flavor cake. I told them what the theme of our wedding was and basically said "have fun." The results were perfect. The cupcakes were spectacular, and our topper cake was just gorgeous. It was exactly what we wanted. They even had gluten free and sugar free options, and they delivered those to the wedding as well. The ONLY reason they were marked down is due to the fact that, the day of the wedding, the ladies who came to drop off the cupcakes were rushing my father who was busy trying to not bleed all over the place after he nicked himself trying to get our cupcake holder together. They were rushing him so that they could get a picture for their own portfolio...I didn't like that part much, but I have absolutely nothing else negative to say. So don't hurt yourself putting together a cupcake holder, and you'll have no bakery woes!

SugarHigh is fabulous! I have used them for many occasions and will continue to do so! So creative and easy to work with. Cake was delivered on time and they even processed a very last minute request. They are awesome!

Our cake was the talk of the reception! I loved the design of it and it tasted AMAZING! When I had mention what our flavors were (coconut w/ pineapple filling and tres luche) everybody was surprised and ate every last bit of our cake! I also like that they offer to bake a new 1 year anniversary cake instead of storing our top in the freezer. The only problem was they were a little hard to get a hold of but when you make amazing cakes like they do I wouldn't doubt how busy they are :)

Beautiful Cake, Delicious Cupcakes

SugarHigh created a beautiful wedding cake for me and my husband. I wanted to incorporate succulents into the decoration of our cake and they did a great job with it! The cupcakes were also very tasty!

Adam is amazing -every time we go in he is there with a happy smile to greet his customers. Heather doesn't interact very much and seems to be better behind the scenes, personality wise. I have never had a cupcake I didn't like however, if they do away with Lemon Lime I may have to go somewhere else. Absolute amazing.

Cake was the best marble cake I have ever had. It was so moist (I know people throw that out there but it was MOIST). Guest were dazzled at how great it tasted. Only thing I can say is let Heater create what she wishes. When cakes are posted and you order the exact same cake - it is not the same. It seems like a little less time goes into her second shot at it. He was still amazing however, was somewhat disappointed in the differences. I know this to be true of birthday cakes too, as we always but our cakes from there and a repeat of a past post, is not going to look the same in quality. I think she likes to explore new versus repeat. That is the only complaint I could have -- if someone wants the same, don't rush it. It needs to be spot on. However, best cakes ever (especially marble and I prefer chocolate anywhere else). Have come sin they opened and will always patronize their shop. Adam, love seeing you smiling behind the counter.

I did a cupcake tower instead of a traditional wedding cake. It was perfect for my event and everyone loved it. The cupcakes were so delicious!

SugarHigh created a gorgeous wedding cake for me and some delicious Vegan Cupcakes for my guests with special dietary needs. Heather was a total professional, all the while she was very friendly and personable. The cake was very affordable, and had all of the grandeur I expected. Heather worked with me to create a beautiful, custom design that played off of our stationary. The only complaint I have is that I had requested a raspberry filling which for some reason did not make it onto the cake, instead there was plain buttercream. My guests didn't know the difference, and I received tons of compliments, but I knew and was somewhat disappointed.

I was very conscious of how much I spent on my wedding cake. Living out of state, I had many email communications back and forth with Sugar High regarding my vision and hopes for the cake. The cake turned out flawlessly. They did a great job making it just they way I wanted using pictures I had found on my own. Not to mention the cake itself was fantastic.

My mother in law is the one who came upon Sugar High and after we found out they won Cupcake Wars we were sold. We did our tasting fairly early in the planning process, which meant I had plenty of time to change my mind on the plans. When I contacted Dawn to change the look of our cake, a few times, she was super nice and cool about it. I had a broad vision, and they were able to make it come together perfect. The day of the wedding, when the crew arrived to get everything set up, I will be honest though, I felt like they all had a little bit of attitude. I went out of my way for all my vendors, made them a little treat bag, and wrote them a quick thank you note... when I handed it to them, they just kinda shrugged it off and didn't seem to care. I understand that that set up for weddings every single week, but this was the biggest day of my life, and I would have appreciated if they didn't seem so judgmental on my excited mood. Cupcakes were delicious though! I would recommend them for sure!

I came into order 10 dozen cupcakes for my wedding and started with the $25.00 value where you have 7 days to place order. I ended up in the hospital and went to the Store on the 8th day and explained what happened and was told i was out of luck and there was no way for me to get my $25 credited to my total bill. I told them that the Cupcake Wars has gone to thier head and they have no compassion. I then actually want into the owner at an event and explained what happened and she was very rude and told me rules are in place for a reason. Rules should be a guideline, i understand that, but i had a valid reason and ever offered to show my dispatch papers. I was told NO and she walked away. I would never recommend this place to anyone no matter what the cupcakes taste like.
