  Yummy & Enjoyable

  When meeting to discuss our wedding cake design, we had a very enjoyable experience. We were offered different cakes and frostings to chose from. It was a very easy, and stress-free experience. I was happy to found out that she had many different cake flavors to chose from. She made me feel very confident that our cake will be everything we hope it will. I cannot wait to taste it!!!

  Not a single slice left at the end of the night

  Connie's cakes are AMAZING!! She made us a 4 tiered wedding cake, with strawberry and white cake, lemon curd filling, and the most amazing light whipped butter cream. The cake was moist and almost had a biscuit flavor to it. It was different from all the other cakes we tried that we found to be spongey and dry. It was beautifully put together, and she added the live flower decoration when she dropped it off. It was stunning. Exactly what I imagined. It was too good to smash in my husband's face! Everyone had at least one slice and every single bit of it was gone by the end of the night. I was looking forward to eating this cake, and it did not disappoint.

  The most beautiful wedding cake ever!

  Planning my daughter's wedding from 300 miles away was not an easy task. Connie made ordering the wedding cake so simple and worry-free! She delivered the most beautiful cake I ever saw, set it up on site, and decorated it with my daughter's wedding flowers. I couldn't have been more pleased with her or the cake. It was beautiful, delicious, AND very reasonably priced! I highly recommend hiring her for your special occasion cake!! 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Best Macaroons Outside of Paris

  My husbands and my first trip was to London/Paris; I am a huge macaroons fan so we walked to all the best shops. When we got engaged I knew I wanted macaroons since it was a special memory for us. Connie’s are absolutely delicious and I still have guest talking about them! From our small cake to the macaroons and petite cupcakes everything was perfect. I only wish I hid in the corner to enjoy these more on my day.
  Connie was such a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to order more goodies from her in the future!

  Connie at Sugarbuzz is such a wonderful and talented baker to work with! She help my husband and I design our bride and groom cakes. She was able to create the cakes to our exact specifications, and was very cost effective as well. She is a very kind person to work with, and was great working with our florist LB Florals to create the bride's cake. She made a bbq grill style cake for the groom, and it was incredibly realistic! Best of all, the cakes that she bakes taste amazing too!

  Connie is wonderful! She recently made our wedding cake & it was absolutely beautiful & delicious!!! I recommend the almond cake with almond filling & buttercream frosting. The strawberry & raspberry flavored buttercream frosting is also superb ;)

  Absolute best wedding cake I've ever tasted!!!! I was given Connie's name by my wedding coordinator and having her make my wedding cake was one of the best decisions we made! All night we heard how delicious the cake was and many said it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. People are still talking about it! Connie was wonderful from day one when we met her for a tasting and she drew out a sketch of the cake we described. We could not have been more pleased with how beautiful and delicious our cake turned out and we're already looking forward to the next occasion we can have her cake!

But I prepared myself--saying to myself often "but it's hard to make cakes that big that are actually good...they tend to dry out and lose their flavor...but it's ok, you don't have to have an amazing wedding cake to have an amazing wedding"--well. Connie proved me wrong big time! Our wedding cake was just as delicious as the samples I had in her home. I had multiple people compliment the cake and ask where it was from. We hardly had any cake left over at the end of the reception. And I have had people weeks after the wedding talk about who good it was! We had a white cake with strawberry buttercream and lemon curd and an almond cake with almond buttercream. Everything was covered in the traditional buttercream. Amazing! Oh and it was beautiful too! Connie was so easy to work with. I'll be going back to her now for birthday cakes, etc.

  Everyone agreed, this was the MOST DELICIOUS wedding cake. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and we decided to go with white wedding cake, strawberry buttercream, and lemon curd. Such a wonderful vendor to work with! Wouldn't get a cake from anywhere else!

  Sugarbuzz provided two cakes for our wedding, as well as macaroons as our wedding treats and we couldn't be more pleased with all three! The bridal cake was gorgeous and delicious. For the groom's cake, we had a very unique request, and Connie knocked it out of the park, we were blown away. The macaroons made the perfect wedding treat, and so so delicious!

  From the first meeting with Connie, we pretty much knew we'd book her. She is a very sweet, calm woman who was easy to talk to. There was no charge for a tasting, and we didn't know it, but she had a tasting set up for our first appointment, which was a nice surprise. Everything tasted delicious. We chose a chocolate cake with caramel frosting and a fondant exterior. We had heard horror stories about how bad fondant can taste, but hers was good! She makes it herself, from marshmallow. The cake looked great and tasted even better. Will definitely recommend her and use Sugarbuzz in the future!

Connie came highly recommended to me by my photographer (Waldorf Photographic Art) and surpassed all expectation. Connie is extremely knowledgeable in mastering the art of wedding cakes which was apparent in the final result. Many of my guests said it was the best cake they’ve ever had! Because I planned my wedding remotely, Connie was able to recreate my dream cake simply from a picture I provided her. She has a beautiful talent and I highly recommend her work to anyone who is seeking a beautiful presentation AND wonderfully tasty cake!

We chose two custom cakes- a five-layer strawberry cake with sugar flowers and a UT themed groom's cake. They were both more beautiful than I had imagined and tasted GREAT! Somehow they were both moist and sturdy... even at an outdoor wedding. I'd recommend Sugar Buzz to anyone. Most delicious cake I've had... ANYWHERE!

  I had the crazy request to make the cake look as if the cake was made out of legos and Connie made sure that it was perfectly crafted! The cake was the talk of the reception. We choose the raspberry and carmel buttercream icings and could not have been more thrilled. I would highly recommend Connie and the Sugar Buzz Bakery to anyone who is looking for a scrumptious creation!

  Sugarbuzz Bakers- Connie with Sugarbuzz is the sweetest lady ever! She was very available for meetings throughout the planning process and very flexible to make changes throughout our engagement as we changed our mind! We did 100 individual pies (25 in 4 different flavors) with homemade whipping cream for our grooms cake and a 4 layer beautiful carrot cake for our main cake (because it is both our favorite). It was so delicious I could have eaten a whole layer! :) Everyone kept saying how beautiful and yummy our cakes/pies were!

  Connie at Sugarbuzz makes the most DELICIOUS cakes ever. We got a purple ombre effect ruffle tiered cake, and it was beautiful. The fondant (which I know a lot of people don't like in general) used was yummy and completely enjoyable to eat. I had a crazy idea to do a traditional frilly looking cake on the outside and a surprise rainbow on the inside. Connie was such a good sport and patiently figured out how to do it with me when my husband & I visited her for a tasting session (which was really helpful - EVERYTHING we tasted was delicious!).
  
  We ended up with a strawberry cake (pink), white cake (purple), yellow cake (yellow), pistachio cream (green), butter cream (blue) wedding cake. Wedding cake isn't normally spectacular tasting, so the guests were really pleasantly surprised and kept telling us how delicious the cake was. Connie made plenty of cake, and for some reason the people serving the cake gave out small-ish slices, so people kept going back for seconds.
  
  Sugarbuzz was completely professional, responsive, and punctual with delivery.

  Connie at Sugarbuzz makes the most DELICIOUS cakes ever. We got a purple ombre effect ruffle tiered cake, and it was beautiful. The fondant (which I know a lot of people don't like in general) used was yummy and completely enjoyable to eat. I had a crazy idea to do a traditional frilly looking cake on the outside and a surprise rainbow on the inside. Connie was such a good sport and patiently figured out how to do it with me when my husband & I visited her for a tasting session (which was really helpful - EVERYTHING we tasted was delicious!).
  
  We ended up with a strawberry cake (pink), white cake (purple), yellow cake (yellow), pistachio cream (green), butter cream (blue) wedding cake. Wedding cake isn't normally spectacular tasting, so the guests were really pleasantly surprised and kept telling us how delicious the cake was. Connie made plenty of cake, and for some reason the people serving the cake gave out small-ish slices, so people kept going back for seconds.
  
  Sugarbuzz was completely professional, responsive, and punctual with delivery.

  The cake and grooms cake was wonderful. It was the best wedding cake I have ever had and many many of my guests said the same thing. Connie was great to work with and came up with a beautiful design. The cake was expensive, but completely worth it. Having taken cake decorating courses, I completely understand the amount of work that went into my 5 teired, homemade fondant, two flavored wedding cake and the custom 1973 VW bug cake for my husband. I will not go to any other cake maker now but Connie. Her cake is so moist and delicious, and her buttercream is to die for. We had leftover cake in our freezer when we got back from our honeymoon and ate a piece a day until it was gone two weeks later. Forget Magpies go to Sugar Buzz!

  Connie is absolutely wonderful! Her cakes are the best I have ever tasted! and I am not the only one who feels that way- I hear about her cakes all the time! My family orders her cakes for all of our birthday celebrations -they are ALWAYS a hit! You need to try them for yourself!

  If you want the best, look no further. Sugar Buzz IS the best. Wonderful cake, perfectly suited to the occasion. She listened to our needs, adjusted the size when we reduced the guest list at the last minute and handled all the details making the wedding day wonderful.
