Hands down, Eric is truly the best of the best photographer out there. He shot our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos in Philadelphia. His background in newspaper photography shows through beautifully, and I think helps him stand out uniquely from the rest. Aside from being super professional, organized, kind, and thoughtful, he has a tremendous eye for detail and also is one of the hardest workers in the world. He turned around our photos so quick and we (as well as all our family and friends) were stunned by how amazing they were. The photos really told our story. Getting married during COVID-19, Eric was extremely flexible and understanding, adapted along with us, and made our lives extremely easy (while also staying safe!). He even stayed at our event an hour longer than we had planned, no questions asked. He kept us on track the entire day, and took our [albeit scrambled at times] vision and ran with it. We put all our trust in him and we’re so glad we did. He really exceeded expectations. Would recommend him time and time again! -

Wedding day photographer
Eric was so easy to work with both before and the day of our wedding! I wanted much more of the candid pictures than posed and he captured our whole day and all of our guests! Our pictures let us relive our day and remember how much fun not only we had but everyone around us! He truly has the eye to capture your wedding or any event! -

We had reached out to Eric for pictures before and during our wedding. He agreed on a site that we had visioned. Eric was already onsite once we arrived and was ready to shoot. He may have scouted the area already because he offered suggestions for some photo opportunities that we otherwise may have missed. He knew exactly what would look the best as far as background and lighting and my wife and I were enjoying the whole experience. My family wanted pictures on there personal devices -which I was embarrassed about- but he was delighted to once his work was complete. Eric was very patient with our party and we we blown away at the quality and quantity of pictures we received at the end. To ANYONE looking for a professional photographer- this is your guy! -

A delight to work with
I chose Eric Sucar for our very small ceremony on 10/30/20 due to the wonderful reviews I had read and for the incredible work he showcases. Not only did he always respond to me lightning fast but he was so professional and very easy to talk to. I had very little planned when we decided to get married this year, and in only 3 months, so naturally my plans changed pretty frequently. He tailored a package for our specific needs and was incredibly flexible throughout the whole process. We were originally supposed to get married in a small park but as the date got closer the weather forecast got progressively worse. The day before our wedding we ended up changing venues which changed the whole day's timeline. Eric was very understanding and ready to roll with whatever last minute changes we threw at him. He was there and ready right on time and even stayed well past his contracted hours. He got us a sampling of our photos 2 days later and the rest of the photos were ready in less than 2 weeks. I truly can't recommend him more and will absolutely be using him again in the future!!! -

Amazingly talented
Sucar Weddings shot our wedding on 10/10/2020 and we cannot recommend them enough. Eric's passion and artfulness for what he does shines through every photo, whether it be creative angles and lighting, party action shots, or the quiet candid moments that we didn't know he caught until we saw the photos. Besides his skill in capturing our formal and unplanned memories, his easygoing presence was so welcome. During the high energy of a wedding day schedule, Eric is calm, cool, and collected, moving effortlessly through the chaos to capture every moment, while never monopolozing the time we had with our loved ones. From the planning process until the last photo of the night, Eric was organized, professional, and genuinely excited to be a part of our day. We highly recommend Sucar Weddings for any event. -

Eric is awesome!
Eric is awesome to work with. He is easy going, laid back and organized! He answered all my emails quickly and was very flexible with scheduling our engagement shoot. Even up to the last few days, we were making changes about the number of hours we were going to use Eric at our wedding. Without hesitation, Eric allowed us to add an extra hour to our package. His photographs are amazing!! -

Eric Sucar was awesome!
Eric joined us for a non traditional wedding in the middle of Historic Headhouse Square in Philadelphia. He was extremely accommodating and his photos were perfect. You are truly able to see what an amazing fun time the wedding was with every single picture. Would definitely recommend! -

The photos are absolutely beautiful. Eric did a great job capturing posed portraits and candids, which perfectly covered all nuances of the day with good representation of all guests and a strong focus on our immediate families as planned. He very nicely accommodated plan changes and other requests throughout the night with awesome creativity and lots of energy. We're very happy to have worked with Eric and highly recommend him!
