Arturo was such an amazing DJ, our wedding was so fun and vibrant, everyone had a blast. He was so professional and catered everyone’s requests. Our wedding was such an unforgettable and fun day. Arturo had everyone dancing all night long. Our guest said it was the best wedding ever.

We hired DJ Styles for our daughter’s wedding, and he was fantastic! From start to finish, he was professional, organized, and kept the energy high. The music was perfect for every part of the day, and the dance floor was full. He read the crowd well, took requests, and made everything flow smoothly.
Our daughter and son-in-law had a great time, and so did we. Highly recommend for any wedding or special event! -

This dj company does a great job reading the crowd and playing music that will get the party going. We were a little nervous at first because there wasn’t too much communication before the reception but we filled out the itinerary and they showed up lining everything up perfectly. -

Gilbert was very professional and very flexible. However, I did have a couple issues- When it was time to make my entrance into the ceremony, he did not make the announcement for everyone to stand, I had to ask an employee at the venue to announce it. I also listed a bunch of songs I would like played and I did not hear a single one throughout the reception, a little disappointing but otherwise, he did a wonderful job. We had a few unexpected events happen at our wedding and he adjusted as if nothing happened. Thank you Gilbert! -

I corresponded with Gilbert with Styles DJ services over email, and I briefly had a conversation with him over the phone.
We paid half the invoice, and Gilbert’s contract/statement with the invoice included we could reschedule this service. I felt this came in handy when our first wedding venue fell through, and he handled a change in venue for the same scheduled date, about 2 months before the wedding with ease. He was great at accommodating requests for a guitar player, keyboard, and extra mic for the ceremony, could have brought his own power and even 30 foot extension cord.
Although not in writing, we thought that we would be getting Gilbert to do the DJ work. The week we paid the full amount, within 4 days of the wedding, we were told his sister and brother-in-law would be DJ’ing our wedding. We felt disappointed that it was not Gilbert and were concerned we wouldn’t have the same experience. When we expressed this to Gilbert, he offered we could pay full price or cancel. Given that this was 4 days before the wedding, we felt that we didn’t have any other option but to proceed.
In general, Gilbert responded quickly over phone and email before the wedding day. However, within 2 hours of the ceremony, I was told by my wedding coordinator that there wasn’t anyone at the ceremony site setting up. I called and emailed Gilbert, since that was the only contact info I had. Gilbert responded over email within 45 minutes that his sister should be there shortly. Given it was my wedding, and wifi was not great at the location where we were, in hindsight it would be been great to get a phone call, not email, or have contact information for them. Since I wasn’t thoroughly checking my email within the hours nearing my ceremony, I didn’t even see the email. Luckily, they showed up with enough time to get everything set up.
We filled out Gilbert’s general wedding itinerary that he asked us to do, with specific things we would want to have done. I feel this may not have been passed off to his sister as his sister and brother-in-law missed some cues that we had specifically written, like announcing that guests dance to the buffet table like we desired.
The DJ work was average in our opinion. For our party, we felt it wasn’t particularly engaging or drew people onto the dance floor. We also remember that they did not play a single slow-dancing song during the reception.

We hired DJ Styles for our vow renewal. My contact was the owner who adapted well to last-minute changes and rain, but several avoidable issues affected the night poorly. Communication leading up to the ceremony was very poor, I had to ask him for increased communication due to this but did not see an improvement. I sent him the run of show multiple times as his communications and questions implied he did not read it. I felt like the run of show wasn’t followed day of. I extended my contact by an hour but (1) he did not remember this and sent my the wrong invoice, (2) had to be reminded of the extension multiple times, and (3) did not communicate the extension to his team so they actually stated packing up an hour early dispite our amended contract. The photo booth was out during the ceremony, which I specifically communicated I did not want. The toast timing was missed, confusing the venue. And as mentioned his team packed up early but without any notice or communication. And the late-night rain provision speaker had multiple connection issues. When I tried to discuss the above mentioned issues I had with his services he chose not to address some of them and blamed the rain for others.Styles DJ Services's reply:
Hey Paloma sorry you felt this way I got tipped $50 from you so I’m very shocked to hear this, I did call you July 30 to confirm everything before your wedding, your songs were played and we gave you the microphone to your officiant and they sounded great! The last hour extension was sent sorry I wasn’t able to do it faster I wanted to make sure to download your music, I did stay for the whole time. The photobooth was off to the side over 100 ft behind the last row of your ceremony behind my dj set up it was not obstructing the view of the alter venue said that it would be ok to set up there and we were able to provide the photobooth for your cocktail hour which was an extra bonus we set up early because we did not want to be late,
We did do your toast I gave the venue staff a 20min then 10 min warning then got people hyped up for the toast and the toast was a success, we did have three timelines because you sent us updates and other parties that were working with you had a different one as well so I adapted and kept the flow so that right after dinner speeches were made to keep a good flow,
The only thing I blamed on rain was that I had to take my equipment in because we were not tented outside I had to shut down my entire system and run it to the van that’s why we gave you that smaller Bluetooth option, half the guests left due to rain and at the end of the night we were playing for six people which wasn’t a problem, I did send my photobooth team home and they were running that speaker off there device the reason they broke down is they were switching the Bluetooth phone to your guests device, I’ll try to do better next time but all your formalities were played and your announcements as well and we played all your songs correctly.
