We had such a wonderful experience with this makeup team for our wedding party in July. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating, even handling a last-minute venue change for where we’d be getting ready without any issue. From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, and easy to work with, which really helped make the morning stress-free.
The prices were very reasonable for the quality of work and service we received. Cindy did my (bride) makeup and absolutely nailed the subtle, natural look I wanted — it was flawless and lasted beautifully all day. Everyone in the party looked amazing and felt so confident.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for talented, reliable makeup artists for their wedding or any special event! -

Cindy and Angie were absolutely amazing! During my trial, they immediately understood the look I was going for and brought it to life effortlessly. On the wedding day, they did the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and aunties and everyone looked stunning! I also asked for a tattoo cover-up, and they made it happen flawlessly. Despite the hot weather, my makeup stayed intact the entire night—I received so many compliments! I highly recommend them for your wedding or any special events. -

I had my hair and makeup done by them. Both were great.
The makeup artist listened to what I wanted. nothing too heavy, just something that felt like me but more polished. My skin looked great without feeling cakey, and everything held up the whole day.
The hairstylist was just as great. I came in with a few inspo photos and not the clearest vision, but she pulled it all together. My hair felt secure, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
Both artists were super sweet. I didn’t feel rushed or overly “done up,” and I appreciated how they made the whole process feel easy. Would definitely recommend both.

I can not say enough great things about Stylehype. They did an absolutely incredible job on my wedding hair and makeup! It was everything I envisioned. My hair held up perfectly all day and night, the hairstylist was professional, and answered all my questions & the makeup artist also did a great job making sure I liked my look. They worked efficiently and we were even able to get touch ups. If you’re looking for a glam team for your wedding day, they are the team you should hire! -

Angi did my hair as well as my mother, my mother-in-law, and my 2 bridesmaid's hair. Angi arrived on time and completed everyone's hair in more than enough time before we took pictures. She was so fun to be around during the getting ready process and worked well with my make-up artist that we hired. She even did some touch ups for my sister who had her hair done first. Our hair stayed beautiful all day long! I would recommend Angi for anyone's wedding day! -

You need Style Hype for your wedding!
I can’t say enough positive things about Style Hype! This team knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to making the bride and the bridesmaids look and feel absolutely beautiful. They were also extremely flexible with me as I had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and they were so kind when I had to make multiple changes. Seriously if you want an amazing hair and make up team for your wedding day you need to look no further! -

The women at Style Hype were wonderful to work with and made me and the bridal party feel beautiful on wedding day! I have never before loved how my hair looks in an updo, and was nervous for my trial. The hair stylist took my vague suggestions and did a perfect updo! I absolutely loved the service they provided, very talented and professional! My makeup stayed flawless the entire day, I didn’t need any touch ups at all and my hair was beautiful, I express my concerns about my hair not holding curls for long but she made it work. Angie and Cindy did my hair & makeup for my wedding and I absolutely loved them. The girls traveled to me and simultaneously did hair and makeup. The results were amazing and other than touching up lipstick once or twice during the reception my look was flawless all afternoon and into the night. My hair even held up to the lakefront winds while we took out pics! They were friendly, prompt, efficient, and affordable. I cannot brag about them enough!! -

Cindy and Angie are so talented! My bridal party all loved their hair and makeup. I was very happy with my hair and makeup. It turned out even better than my trial, which was also great. From just a quick glance at a picture of the hair and makeup I was going for, they nailed what I wanted. They are super cool too. Would highly recommend for both hair and makeup. -

The girls were great. Makeup and hair was beautiful. Very accommodating. The only thing is I wish I would have had time for a trial first. The foundation (maybe it was the airbrush aspect of the makeup) or just the general depth of the foundation accented and amplified fine lines and wrinkles that do not appear otherwise when I smile. I thought maybe I was imagining things and have looked closely in the mirror since then and recreated the same smiles from my wedding day without the foundation and do not have the same lines in my cheeks that were created by the thicker makeup that I was not used to. The fine lines accented by the foundation aged me a bit in some of the photos. If I could do it over again I probably would have gone with the traditional makeup package. Again totally my bad for not trialing first. But might be a good tip for future clients who have never had professional makeup. -

We could not be more thrilled with Style Hype. I first visited Cindy and Angie at their house for my initial hair and makeup trial and the same for my mother. We were amazed by their work and received compliments all night! I showed them a photo of an idea for my hair and they matched it spot on. For makeup, I requested extremely natural and it was flawless! On the day of my wedding, 4 Style Hype gals arrived on time and were very professional. They were able to take pictures of hair and makeup ideas from my bridesmaids and execute with near perfection! When girls wanted slight tweaks, they were happy to do them. They were easygoing and jived with out crew. I would recommend Style Hype to anyone and everyone! -

They were able to travel to the location were my bridesmaids and I were going to get ready and accommodated my entire party of 7! I came across their Instagram page and was amazed with their work! Cindy was very responsive since the first day I emailed her! All of our hair and makeup looked great even after over 12 hours of running around and taking pictures! These ladies are truly talented and I would definetly use them all over again! -
Eberley Sent on 09/26/2017I choose Style Hype for our Wedding Day Sept 3rd, 2017. I could not be even more pleased. They were very accommodating and attentive. I was happy to find them through a friend. I had been planning my wedding for 2yrs. So when I had tried booking for a previous Makeup artist early on out, they declined due to being so far out. Style Hype was able to accommodate me with no problem. They really listened to my vision for my bridesmaids and I. I had mentioned how I needed something very dramatic with my makeup, I had to look different than my average day. They literally took what I said and did just that, we had to actually tone it out a bit. That goes to show, that they will listen and try to make you pleased. They were also very patient and took the time to change my makeup. We all were very happy and felt very beautiful that day. Makeup and hair was flawless all night.

From the gecko, they responded quickly to my questions and concerns. They recommend and gave me much information on what would work best for me for on my wedding day. They made me feel confident when I did not, and the makeup/hair turned out beautiful on my wedding day. My bridesmaids also thought they did a wonderful job. Their prices are fair, and they even offer airbrush makeup! My makeup stayed on all day, and I felt beautiful on my wedding day. Thanks ladies for a job well done- I highly recommend their services. -

I was looking for a hair and makeup artist who would be able to work with people of color and their unique skin and hair at an affordable price. Style Hype was the answer to my prayers! They did an amazing job on myself and my bridesmaids. They were able to take our suggestions and make my bridesmaids and me look incredible. They also did my engagement shoot makeup. I wish I had these ladies around for every special occasion. I highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed. -

Wedding hair perfection
Angie did an amazing job of giving me exactly what I wanted for my wedding. I loved that I was able to do a trial ahead of time. She was professional, worked well with all my bridesmaids and able to complete all our hair styles in the designated time. If you have never done airbrush makeup I HIGHLY recommend it. I am a crier and you couldn't even tell I cried all night (and I totally did). Citi did an amazing job giving me a pop of color on my big day instead of just going neutral! It gave me the confidence I needed to walk down the aisle. All if my bridesmaids and mothers absolutely LOVED the outcome of their look.
I highly recommend Citi to complete your special day!

Communication was difficult, however, from previous reviews I was expecting that. I wish it was clearer that we would have to get up extremely early if we didn't add on a hair dresser. I asked what time we would need to start and they said they would get back to me, they didn't and I had to follow up. By the time I found that out, it was too late to hire someone new. That is fine I should have checked on it earlier. However, we needed to be ready to go at 6:00 am. We were told 6:00 am PROMPT. Both hair and make up were late by 30 minutes. I didn't even receive a call. I had to figure out the number and call them. This was extremely stressful and resulted in having to get up early to take care of the issue and then wait around. My hair ended up falling and looking horribly, it was due to not brushing it before curling, which I asked her to do. My bridesmaids hair fell too and they had to be redone. My makeup was nothing like my trial and looked really bad in the day light. It wasn't like my trial because a different person did it. When I scheduled the trial, I assumed the person doing my makeup trial would be the one doing my makeup the day of. After arriving at the trial, they informed me that it would be a different person. They just didn't want to cancel my trial. I think that should be the decision of the person getting their makeup done, not the make up team. Had I been contacted before going to the trial, I would have scheduled another day. Since I had taken off of work and drove an hour, I had the trial done. I definitely made some mistakes but if I could go back I would pick a different vendor. -

Wow I am really disappointed. I was in contact with style hype for a couple months leading up to my makeup trial that i intended to use for my engagement photos. They have great reviews and the email response was great so I felt really good scheduling my trial. They were supposed to arrive at my house at 9am this morning and when it hit 9:15 I got worried and sent out an email. After two emails and a voicemail I finally got a call back at 9:45 saying the artist had car trouble and wouldn't be coming. They told me they wouldn't be able to get anyone out to me until 12pm which is when my photos are meant to start. If someone would have contacted me beforehand not after they were already late I maybe could have had a backup plan, but as of now I may just be doing my own makeup for my photos. I am really just writing this review so this wont happen to anyone else and I am just really disheartened as I intended for them to do my entire bridal party on my wedding. Thank god it wasn't my actual wedding date! Whats worst of all is that I had reconfirmed all the details just three days before so I am totally at a loss. Just be aware that they were unreliable in the worst way for me.Style Hype's reply:
Hi Elyse, again we truly apologize for any inconvenience this caused you this morning. We try our very best to stay on top of our appointments and that is why we do have great reviews and have a large clientele base. But sometimes things DO happen that are out of our hands and we try our best to readjust. We did say we still could have an artist out to you today, it would just be a little longer because of the distance and we offered a discount on the service PLUS took the travel fees off. We understand the timing didn’t work for you, but we did try to rectify. For the day of the wedding/event we have a back up plan set up in case these things come up, plus usually send out multiple artists to one event. Rest assured to this day we’ve never NOT shown up on event day. Our goal is always to try and give our client the best experience, even when things do come up.
