I don't understand why so many of these reviews are so low. We had an excellent experience with Studio Suits.
We had my husband's suit and all of our wedding party's suits, our ushers and our dads suits all made through Studio Suits. Out of ten suits, we only had issue with one, and it was due to my mistake in taking measurements (pro tip: use an actual dress shirt to take your measurements, maybe not just your dad's random flannel layering shirt!).
Everybody else was raving about their suits (and my dad's replacement jacket after measuring right fit him great!), and we are very happy customers.
Studio Suits has an extensive selection of fabrics and colors to choose from which was how I found them to start with — it is otherwise kind of difficult to find good variety in tweed/ vintage style suits out there!
Not only that, but they are totally customizable — things I didn't even know about suits! Want a specific number of buttons on the cuff of your jacket? Different style buttons? different vents? Custom lapels, pockets, linings, decorative elbow patches, etc.? You can choose whatever you want.
It was about what you'd pay to rent a tux and it's perfectly your size, and you get to keep it to wear again. What's not to like?
Oh and you get it in like a week, so when we had last minute adjustments one month out, we were easily able to have a new suit made and shipped out in time for the day.
Incredible, can't say enough nice things about Studio Suits. Will probably order more suits through them in the future! -

Christy Sent on 06/06/2011I found Studio Suits on Best Destination Wedding Blog. Many brides had used them before so there were plenty of reviews of the quality the suits they received. Many also offered up how to measure for the suits and how to mess up on measurements. We contacted via email regarding the amount of suits needed and making sure they would all match in color, the suits came in perfect. The quality is great! Some did have to have a few alterations but that could be due to the measurements. We ordered the Linen suit and you can't beat the price nor quality. Just READ the website clearly it will give you allt he information you need. If all esle fails, email them if you have any questions. P.S. - you have to go though PayPal because most credit card companies will not let them charge. -

I purchased my first heavy tweed suit from Studio Suits and was honestly impressed with the quality. I got that for my wedding suit and was happy to see that there were matching ties for my groomsmen. I liked it so much, I browsed some other suits and got a donegal tweed suit and it's probably my favorite. I just ordered a new black suit (cotton) since it would've cost $120 to tailor my current black suit and for $40 more, I could get a custom one. I know some other reviews have a negative experience, but if you give your accurate sizes and pay close attention to the suit you're ordering, you should be satisfied. I don't know of a better deal for a new custom suit. -

Do not believe fit guarantee
The pockets on the Mens overcoat I ordered were way too high. The pockets sat at my stomach above my waist. I emailed studiosuits with my complaint and photos. All they did was send me a gift certificate towards my next order, and a very nice email saying they would not honor their own guarantee. I included a photo with my order number so you can tell I’m not lying. Look elsewhere. -

Ordered a suit from them a size up hoping to tailor it down. The jacket is at least one size too small and the quality is so bad. It feels gross to touch. On top of this they don't offer refunds or returns -

Poor fit and wrong colour
Purchased a Taffy Pink suit as the website photos showed a slightly purplish, muted pink what looked a bit different but still semi formal. No fabric sample was available from site but went ahead and bought.
Item delivered was bright pink and, frankly, horrendous, as well as being ill fitting (despite forking out extra £80 for trial suit to fine tune measurements).
Studiosuits refuse to acknowledge that the suit is a different colour and have offered nothing in the way of an apology or compensation. £320 wasted. -

I purchased from Studio Suit because I needed a specific color, looking around on the internet I ran into their website which looked very professional and the photos impressed me with an "apparent" quality.
Far from reality.
It's an INDIAN company which they don't advertise nor mention anywhere, they claim to craft custom made high quality suits with the best material. False, false, false.
The suit I received was two size bigger, cheap material, pre made and stitched on the fly.
The detail quality is simply bad, the shoulders are different one from another, the product has no label stating what it's made of. You won't get your money back. And for half of the price you can buy from reliable websites who go above and beyond to facilitate returns and refunds.
Trust me, there is no reason for which you should purchase anything from these scammers. -

please stay away from this company, i don't want anyone to have to throw money into a trash compactor. They will ignore your measurements, give you low quality mass produced crap then the customer service will gaslight you about their own posted return and quality assurance guarantees. -

I ordered a custom suit from this vendor that was not completed to my specifications. I corresponded with the vendor to request that they fix the issue or provide a refund but they have refused. I even sent photos showing that the length of the coat front was longer than the rear but the vendor will not make it right. I like the suit but they did not complete the specs correctly so it is useless to me. In my opinion you should avoid this vendor. -

Buyer beware!
Warning! Do not buy from this company. Total scam. I bought a tux jacket. When I received it, it looks the picture of the coat that is advertised on their website. When I asked for refund they refused and said it was custom. When I sent them a side by side photo of the difference in quality, they offered me 50% off my next purchase. Next purchase? I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Don’t say no one warned you. -

I ordered a coat, it turned up sized for a midget, I asked them to put it right, they mucked around for a month and pretty much have refused to put it right. Save your money go to a proper tailor! -

Bottom-Feeding Scammers
When I ordered my corduroy blazer from StudioSuits I believed the reviews on their website. DO NOT believe the reviews on the website. It is all a scam. They pad their positive reviews and do not publish the negative ones.
My corduroy blazer is so poorly made it's not even fit to donate to a charity. The sleeves on mine are completely whack but it's plagued by many issues, not just that. It's like their tailors don't know what a human being looks like. And the material is as cheap as it comes.
They say "fit guaranteed," but it's really "shit guaranteed."
They deflect, deny, blame the consumer for any issues and will not give refunds.
The people working at StudioSuits need to save their souls and stop working for this bottom -feeding company that's only goal is to scam clients out of money. Life is short. Find a job that contributes to humanity and not one that only preys on it.
DO NOT, DO NOT give this company your money. You will regret it. Others have made the mistake for you. Learn from them.

STAY AWAY. Measurements were wrong, color was not as expected, craftsmanship was terrible.
Nothing was symmetrical with this suit and basically all measurements I had triple checked with three different tailors were off on the product they sent me. See the pictures for yourself. I ordered the Thomas Shelby Gray Tweed Suit and look at what I got.
I ordered a custom suit with specific measurements down to.25 of an inch. All of these specification were fields on the custom ordering part of the website. All fields were filled out precisely and I have screenshots of those measurements along with some being listed in my receipts. The suit I received in the mail had 50% of the measurements completely wrong from.25 of an inch to over three (3) inches from the measurements I provided. This massive difference in measurements has rendered this suit unusable to me without significant tailoring and additional cost. I attempted to resolve the issue with the company, even providing detailed photos with measurements and have only been told various versions of "these are custom hand made garments, we use more hand made techniques, these garments may have some differences" which is NOT listed ANYWHERE on their website which I also took screenshots of. I have all emails saved with the company demonstrating a lack of willingness to rectify the situation, only offering me $25 for tailoring which would barely cover tailoring a single leg of the pants. The product I ordered and the one I received are in no way the same and again, completely unusable and they are refusing to remedy things. -

I lost almost AUD $2000
I was sent a suit and trousers size 46 Long when ordered 42 Reg.
SS outright refused to adjust the enormous suit, which arrived weeks after the clear due time.
Then, trying to get my money back, customer service used all sorts of different fake “western” names and bulldust excuses…
As I said earlier: Do NOT go anywhere near this shonky Studio Suits operation - it is a total scam

After weeks exchanging measures, with supprting picture of the same, studiosuits is still asking for additional measures, refusing to recognized that the jacket they manufactured for me is not as per the order, significantly too small (to the extend that i can not wear it).
i am thinking to go to court with a local layer, that is the last thing i can do! -

Suit received is way off from measurements I sent, no accountability
Made the suit absolutely wrong, off by over 2” in many spots. Sent pictures to prove they made it wrong. Won't remake or adjust the suit (even with their “fitment guarantee clause”). They will give you the run around then simply ignore your email. Will never admit a mistake or offer any type of compensation. Zero customer service, poor quality, STAY CLEAR FROM STUDIO SUITS, especially for weddings. (Details below)
I ordered a suit and was asked to provide 15 measurements of an existing well-fitting suit. I followed the measuring guide to a tee, took over an hour to do so, and double-checked all my measurements. Note: I am a contractor and use a measuring tape every day, (I know how to use a measuring tape).
The suit I received is not even close to fitting, it is way too small. I verified all the measurements, and 10 out of the 15 measurements on the new suit are wrong, some by over 2 inches.
I contacted them and was expecting a no-hassle remake of the suit as per their "Fitment Guarantee". I provided many pictures of the suit, and pictures showing a tailoring tape measuring (exactly as per their measuring guide) all the spots on the suit that are off. The pictures and proof are clear and show some spots off by 2" + (we are not talking about a 1/4" here).
Their response was to ask for more pictures and more measurements. Once I provided this, they then asked me to use a different measuring tape (which I did, and provided all new pictures). I also provided my order details showing the measurements I provided vs the ones on the new suit.
Their email response was always the same, trying to move the goalpost, asking for different measurements, different measuring tapes etc.. In the end, it could not be more clear that the suit was made wrong. After I kept meeting all their requirements they finally replied saying "thank you, we will send this to our designer and get back to you" over the next weeks no response. I emailed many times asking for an update, no response.
Please note I was always polite with them, and never asked for money back, simply a remake or alterations to my suit as per their own advertised "fitment guarantee". I also offered to send the suit back so they could measure it for themselves.
I am not upset they made mistakes on my suit, I am upset they do not rectify them. They are very slimy and won't ever fix their mistakes, SCAM!
(Please also note that staff wrote in broken English with fake names, which reminded me of a scam call center from India)
I never write negative reviews but after spending over $400 on a jacket and pants that I cannot wear I hope to save someone else from this bad experience. Stay clear and don’t expect any support once you’ve paid them.

I bought a jacket as a test ahead of my wedding date early next year. Their website is beautiful, this suit jacket looks nothing like the website. I have ordered custom suits abroad many times, and usually great results since my size is standard and the cost basis for custom clothing (India, Thailand, etc.) is very low… The customer experience from Studio Suits was simply arrogant, zero accountability for shipping a jacket very different than pictured on their website. Fit was snug but ok (tight armholes) I am an average 6’ 185lb man wearing 42R off the shelf so usually a safe bet. The COLOR was at least 3 shades OFF, see attached picture. I reached out several times over the course of 2 weeks with only 1 response, “they delivered exactly what I ordered”. NOT the same as you can see. I never write bad reviews and we all make mistakes but the ambivalence and unwillingness to communicate and correct the situation strikes and emotional chord for me. There are reputable companies that provide this service, Studio Suits (Harry Fashion LLP in India) is NOT one of them. Especially smart to avoid Harry if you have a wedding or other important event… otherwise you may find yourself scrambling to meet your needs and look your best…

Worst suit ever
My suit came with a ticket pocket I did not order. The fabric material was cut 90 degrees wrong. Fabric lines ran horizontal not vertical like their pictures. It was steampressed wrong too. Suit is hideous. I can't wear it, it looks horrible! DO NOT BUY A SUIT HERE!!! They won't fix their mistakes!! I paid additional 145 euros in tax and duty fees. Shipping not free. See pics below. The fabric on the website runs vertical, mine are horizontal. They refuse to send corrected suit. DO NOT BUY HERE!! -

We purchased three suits here for our wedding (father of the bride, brother of the bride, a groomsman). None of them fit. We had the local seamstress who made the groom's suit take all the measurements so we are confident they were done to standard. It took the local seamstress three full days to fix one suit. This means basically you need the time and additional funding to have the suit retailored once it arrives. The other two suits were just replaced with shop purchased as that was cheaper than re-tailoring. Buy at your own risk. Not worth it in my option, I definitely will not be back. Would have been far cheaper, faster, and less painful to have them all tailored locally. -

Terrible Customer Service
Horrible company. The measurements you send them are just a reference. They admit that they add a few inches to some measurements and not to other areas. What arrives is a very poor fitting suit. The site says they will remake the shirt if there is an error, but if they never accept the suit back and just claim they didn't make an error, how can you enforce this? No refund, no remake, just a 20% discount on a future purchase. This is a Mumbai based company that just rotates sites (HarryFashion, MakeYourOwnJeans.com, LeatherCult.com) as they get bad reviews. Reported charges to credit card as scam. -

Exercise caution
I will recommend everyone considering to purchasing something from studio suits to exercise caution. I’m attaching a photo of the product that I received and the product’s photo in their website. As you can see, they are completely dissimilar. What I discovered—the hard way—is that they don’t have customer support. I reached out to them, and pretty much they replied “boo-hoo, get a sample next time” It is obvious that they don’t care if you will be a returning customer, and that tells a lot about the business that they are operating. You just have to buy one thing from them. Having said that, it’s only worth to use studio suits for articles less than $150. Because it is an unreliable operation, It only make sense to order from them if you are in a low budget. Such that if you get what you expected—it is a gamble with them—then it won’t heart your pocket. The tailoring is poor, and the images of the products are not representative, so if you are planning to invest more than $200 you should have a look to other, more trustworthy and established, made-to-measure services out there. If you are considering investing to these guys more than $400, I wish you good luck. -
