Danielle was absolutely amazing to work with! She took the time to sit down with us twice to make sure we had all of the photos we wanted for our wedding day written down, and made sure everything was included. She made our day so easy and made sure to capture all of our special moments. She was great at coaching me and my husband through poses and made sure to get some amazing shots. She had such great ideas for capturing shots of us, our wedding party, and our families. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! -

Disclaimer: my husband is a fiend of the owner, Danielle, which is why we looked into her services in the first place. She was already booked for our date, so she recommended Milena, one of her other photographers. She was absolutely wonderful! She somehow found this perfect balance between directing us and just letting us do whatever, and got beautiful pictures out of it! HIGHLY recommend them, and would even if we didn't know Danielle. -

She had such an infectious personality, she really made the whole experience feel organic and fun! We are not used to being photographed and are a bit goofy, she made it easy for us to take her direction and it didn't feel completely ridiculous thanks to her! We can't sing her praises enough; I look forward to booking Kathleen again in the future for Christmas photos, pregnancy announcements, anything and everything! She was exactly what we needed in a photographer on our wedding day and has a great eye for the space. -

Merina Sent on 09/03/2009Danielle of Delphianblue was wonderful. We found her off of Craigslist, and was a bit hesitant to call her, but after the initial chat on the phone we wanted to work with her.
After the first meeting, we were hooked, she was a vibrant enthusiast that was merely starting out, but we saw potential and went for it.
She was also very flexible with our shooting schedule, which helped A LOT!
A Vietnamese wedding consisting of 3 ceremonies (2 traditional and 1 church) and then a reception of 190 ppl to cover, that's about 15 hours long (she had a mini break of about 4 hours in between ceremonies and recept), and she just doved in! What a champ! Danielle took over a thousand photos and they looked beautiful. (She also does all the photoshoping herself.)
She's been wonderful from the start and we are more than happy to work with her in the future and tell all our friends and family about her services. She's just starting out, but I know she'll be going far in this industry. -

Engagement photos:
I said we wanted photos at Target Field. Was told we should select a second venue to make sure there were enough good photos. So we chose the rose garden, a random selection from her list of suggested places. When we got there, we mentioned right away that we had brought our baseball gloves and such for the Target Field photos. After about an hour I asked again about going to Target Field and was told there wouldn't be time after all.
This was the one and only thing we had asked for.
I called and complained and they kindly took us of a reshoot at Target Field, which was very nice, but shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.
Wedding:
The photos taken were high quality, but were shrunken down to fit onto a USB that was mailed to us. The USB arrived with several corrupted photos on it, although I was told this must have been my fault. All the photos look nice, but print blurry. Every photo I have of my wedding is blurry. They were working with me on this by loading the full resolution photos onto dropbox. Again, nice, but shouldn't have been necessary. But, before I was finished downloading them all, about 6 months sooner than promised, they were removed. When I emailed I was told to use the USB, and it must be my fault if they're printing blurry, and a lot of other excuses as to why they wouldn't just leave my photos up until I was done downloading them, as per our agreement.
Editing skills are mediocre at best.
Overall, a nightmare for any bride who just wants some nice wedding photos.Studio Delphianblue's reply:

Images were up for one year on our website. High resolution images were sent on USB. This client emailed me over a year after their wedding date) to let me know they were having issues with their USB. As a solution we uploaded high resolution images to our online Dropbox for them to download. After 6 months of images being on our Dropbox available for download, we cleaned our server in preparation for the 2019 wedding season. I was not aware that after 6 months that they had still not downloaded their images (we removed them from our Dropbox on June 2nd, 2019. Their wedding was in October 2017. We pride ourselves on professionalism. Unfortunately the emails we received from the bride were threatening and not professional. We pride ourselves on making our couples happy.
Unfortunately we are dealing with our first negative review.
