We fell in love with Studio D2D as soon as we walked in. Kristan and Audrey were so great to work with! They responded so quickly and were very accommodating to anything we had questions on or any changes we requested. Having everything done in one location is the way to go. The change over from the ceremony to the reception was flawless. We couldn't have done the day without our coordinator Amy. She was simply amazing! Always checking on us, putting out "fires," and keeping the day going. She was also exceptional at the rehearsal. I've been in a few weddings and this was the most organized, professional, and well put together wedding I've been apart of. DJ Kevin was so polite and put us at ease, didn't have to worry about him at all. He did his job amazingly and he deserves a huge thank you.

We got married 8.10.19 and Studio D2D was phenomenal. Our wedding day exceed our expectations because of all the staff at studio D2D. Deanna was an amazing coordinator and helped us so patiently along the whole wedding planning process. She and her team made wedding planning stress free and fun. We loved the DJ, venue, and even the fun extras like late night pizza and the photo booth. SO SO thankful to studio D2D for everything!!

I got married on Oct. 27, 2018 at the Harris Building, and let me tell you. IT WAS PERFECTION. I felt like my vision was magnified and even better than I envisioned thanks to everyone. All of the staff at D2D are prompt in their replies, friendly, kind, professional, and fun!
Amanda was a joy to work with, and was super flexible and patient with me throughout the process.
Deanna called and emailed me the week of the wedding to make sure everything was going perfectly, and to make sure we knew the names of all the staff that would be helping on our wedding day.
On the wedding day everything was set up perfectly. The staff was so kind, congratulating me and my husband, and checking in with guests and parents to make sure things were going well. We felt right at home.
Harris was stunning...so many guests commented on the space and how beautiful it was. There was plenty of space, fun lighting, and the guests could hear each other talking, despite the dance music. Several of our guests also took advantage of the front of the building to mingle and chat in a more private setting.
Floral-Andrea and her team were patient with my many emails, and far surpassed my expectations on the wedding day. My bouquets were literally perfection....PERFECTION. Far better than I even hoped. They were classy and fit EVERY. SINGLE. vision I had. They dropped the bouquets off on time, and the reception itself was a vision. What they said they could do for centerpieces and decorations...well, they did even better than they said they would. Pricing was extremely affordable as well.
DJ-NICK!!!! Nick is amazing. I asked for a lot, and he delivered more than I asked. The dance floor was packed all night. He played until the last minute he was asked to play (staff were even starting to pick up). Requests were played almost immediately, if not immediately. He announced everything perfectly, and added in well-placed humor. He made sure video and photo had everything they needed, when they needed it. He also checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was going how we wanted. I am so thankful.

Stuido D2D was absolutely amazing. They truly helped to make our wedding day perfect. From the moment we stepped in to their Loft venue, we knew we loved the style. Once we heard about their vision for City View, we quickly booked that venue and couldn't have been happier. From day one, Amanda was always quick to respond to our emails even if it was regarding some of our tiniest details. She also helped us design (and she even assembled!) our gorgeous wedding invitations. Andrea was phenomenal at sitting down with us and making our design vision a reality - our flowers and table decor was stunning! We also had such an easy time with tux rentals working through Jaymie - she easily worked with members of our bridal party who lived states away and was able to make last minute changes the day before our wedding. Once we booked our other vendors (catering, cake, etc.), Studio D2D took care of all the communicating with them with respect to what time they could be at the venue, what they needed for setup, etc. The entire D2D staff the day of our wedding made us feel as though we were without a doubt the most important people they were taking care of that day! Plenty of staff was on hand when we were setting a few things up, including helping us make some last minute changes. Amanda led everyone through our ceremony perfectly; from then on, we just had the most perfect wedding! Our photographers, Natalie & Emily, were so much fun to work with and kept us on time, allowing us to get all the photos we wanted (and they even had all our photos back to us within two weeks!). Once our reception started, Nick continued to move the night along as planned and always kept the dance floor alive. We can't say enough good things about Studio D2D, Amanda, and the entire staff. They were nearly our one stop shop and we don't regret anything about - they made wedding planning stress-free and helped us have the wedding of our dreams!

Studio D2D made every single one of our wedding dreams come true and then some! I cannot recommend them enough - they were so helpful, flexible and easy to work with through the whole planning process, and having so many services available in one place made it SO much easier. Amanda did a fabulous job of directing everyone at the rehearsal and on the wedding day, and made everything go smoothly - we didn't have a single snag! The City View venue was everything I ever wanted, and so many people said it was a truly amazing venue. Thank you for everything, I cannot recommend enough! :)

I cannot recommend this videography enough! It was a bargain, the team was a joy to work with, and the final product was beautiful! They did a good job keeping my husband and I at ease throughout the day, and they worked seamlessly with the photographer. Bri, my videographer, was really easy-going, but she made getting really good camera angles a priority. I nearly didn't hire a videographer, and I am so, so glad I decided to book D2D! We had almost an hour of footage plus a 6 minute highlight video.

Look no further for your wedding venue! I took the time to visit and compare 10+ venues in GR, and I'm not sure why I wasted my time. Studio D2D had everything & was worth every penny we spent! The set up of the venue is perfect, the décor is great, and the staff is unbelievably helpful. The process was so easy and I loved every part of our big day! Not to mention the killer floral arrangements by Andrea- loved every bit!

Studio D2D was the perfect place for our wedding. I recommend it to everyone who I know is getting married. Dan & Andrea made our night go off without a hitch and made everything so easy for us as the bride and groom. We literally worried about nothing by putting our wedding reception in their hands!!

My husband and I had our reception at Studio D2D and we have to say that Dan and Andrea have captured lightening in a bottle with their amazing service and their beyond beautiful venue. When my husband and I first saw the venue we were stunned by the way that they managed to incorporate the building and its features seamlessly into the design of the space. To be completely honest we knew right away that this is where we wanted to celebrate our wedding reception. That feeling was only increased when we began to discuss the particulars. The thing we loved most wasn't just the venue, which again is astounding, but also the services and experience included in working with the staff at Studio D2D. Dan and Andrea were a joy to work with and helped us every step of the way offering advice on things pulling from their vast knowledge of how to make a wedding something truly special.

Their list of vetted and preferred caterers ensured that my husband and I had some of the best options available to us for our meal and drinks. The DJ was great keeping our guests dancing until the very end of the night. The inclusion of the Photobooth as part of the reception was a wonderful addition that captured some truly priceless memories. I guess what we are trying to say is if you are looking for a venue and staff that will make your special day a memorable one look no further than Studio D2D, Dan and Andrea are the people that will make it magical.

Dan and Andrea were great to work with! They were always very prompt to respond to any questions that we had and were very organized. We also used Andrea as our florist and decorator and she did an amazing job for a great price! Overall, our wedding experience was wonderful and Studio D2D was a big contributor to that.

Dan and Andrea took care of everything to make our day special! It was so nice to be stress free going into our wedding day. The staff at D2D had everything handled and made it such a fun night! The DJ was very flexible and open to exactly what we wanted. We had so many comments from family and friends that it was the best reception they'd ever been to! If you are looking at a wedding reception site you should definitely consider Studio D2D. We were very pleased with every aspect of our experience with Dan, Andrea and their whole staff at Studio D2D. Our daughters wedding was beautiful, fun and very well run. All of our guest were raving about the set up at Studio D2D. We were able to relax at the reception because they took care of everything. With the dancing in a separate room, the guests that didn't want to dance could sit, talk and hear each other. However it was so much fun with the dancing, DJ, photo booth, cocktail tables, couches and the bar in the front room, most everyone was in there. We also had D2D take the photos and their photographers were fantastic. They really kept the wedding party on schedule and the wedding party loved working with them. Andrea with D2D did the flowers and they were beautiful and very reasonably priced. Andrea was a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough about our experience D2D you should consider them for your wedding.

I don't think I can put into words the wonderful experience I had with Studio D2D. Dan and Andrea are absolutely amazing! Planning a wedding from out of state can be hectic and chaotic but Dan and Andrea were amazing to work with. They always responded to emails within 24 hours and worked around our schedules and trips to Michigan to meet to discuss wedding details. Plus they are SO organized! Our wedding went off so flawlessly because of their preparation and amazing staff. Their staff is honestly the best! They are polite, organized, and just on top of it. I didn't feel like there was anything for me to worry about. I could just enjoy my wedding day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue to everyone!

Studio D2D went above and beyond our expectations. Dan, Andrea, Natalie, Eric, and the rest of their staff made our wedding day more memorable and magical than we ever could have hoped for! My husband and I obviously had no idea how to plan a wedding, and Dan helped us each and every step of the way. They streamlined the entire process and made the day flow really well. You don't just get a venue when you book with D2D, you practically get a planner too! Natalie, our photographer, did an amazing job. Not only were we impressed with our engagement photos, but she captured every detail and moment of the wedding day. She patiently followed us around taking shots as we said hi to each guest. Eric, our DJ, didn't just "play the music." He helped with the flow of the day by making announcements to our guests and creating the party atmosphere. Andrea created beautiful centerpieces along with the décor for the ceremony. She left us with nothing to worry about the day of other than getting dressed! The entire experience was flawless. I wouldn't recommend anything other than Studio D2D to anyone else.

Dan and Andrea were AMAZING to work with through the entire wedding planning process! Going into the planning process, I was a little overwhelmed, and it seemed like I had more questions than answers. Dan and Andrea were so helpful in walking us through every step of the process and answering all of the questions I had, no matter how small they were! I was so impressed with their quick responses to my emails and the amount of thought and attention they put into every detail!

We also had all of our photography done though D2D. Natalie was awesome to work with for both our engagement session and on our wedding day! Our pictures turned out great, and we got them very quickly. I also love having all of the pictures in digital format.

I would not hesitate to recommend Studio D2D to anyone! The entire team took away a huge amount of the stress and allowed us to enjoy the wedding planning process and our wedding day.

D2D did a fabulous job through the whole planning process and execution of our wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect, the entire staff was on top of things and guests were commenting on their attentiveness. The venue was simply stunning. I just can't say enough great things about it. I will definitely recommend them.

My husband and I viewed Studio D2Ds reception space during construction, but after speaking with Dan & Andrea and seeing the space, the decision was a easy. We were looking for a venue that was unique and Studio D2D delivered. They were slightly over our budget, but with the packages to choose from and what you get for your money, it all evens out. Not only are Dan & Andrea professional, but they have years of experience in the wedding industry which helped things run smoothly. They were both present the day of our reception and even stayed until the end to help clean up. The only hiccups were in a few misunderstandings with communication where things weren't completely clear during the planning, but nothing major and it all worked out.

This was our favorite wedding vendor! They know what they're doing and everything was absolutely perfect with zero worry on my end. For engagement and wedding photos you get them back in about a week - fully complete. If you have a question they answer you immediately. The DJ was so much fun. The experience of this company is outstanding! Our photographer knew how to get everyone's attention for picture - she kept us on our time schedule and got all the shots I wanted and more. We're going to be using their photography services for family photos in the future.

D 2D Studio provided photography, videography, DJ, and photo booth for our wedding. They all did an amazing job! They were all professional, personable and very helpful. The photographers Natalie and Emily did an outstanding job! Natalie also did our engagement photos it was a pleasure to work with her on or wedding day! Having her there to made it easier as we knew what she was looking for. Photo booth was a big hit, the Dj Eric did a great job with the reception, ran very smooth and was fun. Dan it was a pleasure to work with you on our day and throughout the process. Thank you D2D studio team for making our day so memorable!

I used D2D's DJ services for my reception. I had Joe and he was wonderful to work with. He contacted me the week of the wedding and we were able to go over expectations and I was able to tell him about the reception and the guests. He went over the names and timeline right before he announced the bridal party so that everything was as we had discussed. He was also great at communicating with the other vendors. Joe did great with the timeline I had given him in regards to the formal dances and such and he did a wonderful job. After those were done I gave him free reign to play what he felt would get the guests on the dance floor. There were 4 or 5 solid hours of him playing and lots of people dancing so he was a good judge on what to play and when. I also had contacted Dan a few times and he was great and quick with responses. They were also easy for my MOH to contact and get information to. I would recommend D2D to future brides and grooms as they were great to work with.

Thank you guys so much for making my dayghter and son-in-laws special day so SPECIAL! Everyone had a blast with the photo booth and the attendant was a lot of fun! The Dj was great and right on top of everything! The photographers were so professional, patient and kind! I can't wait to see the pics! THANK YOU ALL!

Studio D2D provided photography and DJ services for our wedding. They did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier with the service! Dan was responsive to all of my emails/ phone calls/ questions both before and after the wedding, and he helped us put together a timeline for the wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. The photographers, Emily and Taylor, listened to our feedback about the types of pictures and poses we wanted and they communicated very well while at the same time being polite and professional. We ended up with tons of fabulous pictures. Our DJ, Eric, did an excellent job as well. He certainly has talent for knowing what songs to play and when, how to keep a good vibe going, and how to make everybody happy with the music selection.
I definitely recommend Studio D2D for anybody looking for wedding photography and DJ services.

Dan was phenomenal. I am writing a second review because the last one was written with my mom who helped do much of my planning since she lived in the state where the wedding was held. Regardless, Dan was so prompt in replying and really cared about what I wanted as a bride. He ensured that everything was incredible the day of the wedding. The photobooth was spectacular and Taylor, the videographer was absolutely amazing. We could not have had our special day without Studio D2D!

Studio D2D went above and beyond to make my wedding the day I had always dreamt about! The staff was very flexible and helped my vision come to life! I chose to have all of my vendor services through Studio D2D and was so thankful! I only had to make one phone call to get everything taken care of and every thing was organized internally. Coming from a very type A bride, this made the world of a difference! The price is amazing for the quality of work they do! They make me want to get married all over again!

At the event the staff were professional. The Photobooth was enjoyed by all and Brian and his assistant were helpful and fun. They ensured that the bride and groom took their own photos and were not photo bombed.
Our videographer, Taylor, was capturing every moment but not intruding at all. He was great at creating scenes and shots; we can't wait to see the video!

Studio D2D provided the photography, videography, DJ, photo booth, and floral for our daughter's wedding. When you hire studio D2D, you also get event planning since they give you a complete schedule for the day! We couldn't have asked for a better company to work with! They were professional, but also so personable and helpful! They're all very creative and open to your ideas and want your input to make your event unique and all your's. Another nice feature is they coordinate all of their services, so it saves a lot of time and extra phone calls trying to plan when everyone needs to be where. I have 2 other daughters and they WILL be using Studio D2D for all these same services! Thank you, Dan, Andrea, and all your wonderful staff!

I used D2D for photography, photobooth, floral and DJ (along with some event planning and the day of execution). The entire team was professional, friendly and helpful! Natalie was our main photographer. She responded to every email and call, she was on time for the day of and she took all the pictures I requested! Nick the DJ communicated appropriately during the couple weeks before the wedding and helped to make sure we had all the music we needed for the wedding. He helped make sure the day of flowed smoothly and that the guests knew what was going on. Our photobooth person (cannot remember his name) was kind and professional to all guests. Andrea did all the floral for the wedding and it was above and beyond what I asked for! Dan supported us from day 1 and even came the day of the wedding to make sure everything went off without an issue! I sent many many emails and asked him tons of questions, sometimes the same one multiple times and he responded to everyone politely and assisted with everything I needed.

We couldn't be happier that we chose Studio D2D for our wedding! The photographers were wonderful (they provided 2 btw! Emily and Natalie). One of them even came to the salon before the wedding to do some pictures with me and my girls. They allowed us to do pretty silly pictures, which was a lot of fun. I haven't seen the pictures yet, but I'm sure they are great! The DJ (Eric) was awesome as well! He kept things flowing wonderfully, even when I was MIA for dances lol He was a lot of fun. Our photobooth attendant (Taylor) was a blast too. Highly recommend getting a photobooth if you can! We had a very wide range of personalities at our wedding, and everybody had an incredible time! Even the bartenders were dancing at the bar :P I don't have a bad word to say about anybody I worked with. They will respond to your emails surprisingly fast too.

The whole D2D staff was amazing. They were easy to work with, friendly, and very professional. They made the whole day stress free and captured moments that we wouldn't have had without them. And the flowers were amazing!! I told her to do something wonderful and she did. I'm so incredibly happy they were a part of my big day. :-)

We used Studio D2D to provide a Photo Booth for our wedding. Dan was great in explaining and organizing the services, and staying in contact with us. Brian, the Photo Booth attendant, was punctual, professional, and great! The photo quality and delivered product met our expectations. We have no complaints!

We had a DJ/a guy running the Photo Booth Stations at our wedding.

There were some special requests for the DJ and he was very accommodating to each of them. He kept the music fun and the dance floor was full all night. The photo booth was a hit, and there were so many fun props for our guests to play with. I loved getting the booklet/cd that night so we could look at the photos in the morning.

Communication was also VERY good. Dan responded to every email the same day I sent them, and answered each question clearly, along with keeping the items we rented well organized. The Tuesday before my wedding, our DJ called and confirmed everything we filled in on our client sheet.

Overall, Studio D2D was very professional, helpful and fun. High recommend using them!

Photobooth Service was awesome. Attendant was attentive and nice. Guests loved this and everyone took advantage of getting pictures. Day after the wedding we took the time to view each photo taken and enjoyed the props that everyone took advantge of using. Would recommend the Photobooth to everyone. Great and easy people to work with. D2D Rocks!

Nick was very professional. He made sure to check with me on order and timing of dancing, dinner, prayer, etc. He was very good about responding to texts and requests we made right up to the last minute. Everything went very smoothly. ThankS!! I would definitely use him again.

PERFECT!!!! Could Not Have Chosen Anyone Better!

Studio D2D was a great vendor to work with. The staff were always professional and fun. Requests and questions were always answered promptly and I never felt that asking more than one question was viewed with any irritation. Our photographers were so much fun and really seemed to capture our personalities. They were a great group to work with and I would highly recommend them!

Everything went very smooth from start to finish. The consultation before the event was priceless. Taylor (Video) and Natalie (Photo) went awesome to work with. The ideas implemented by this team were a priceless resource. Highly Recommend to anyone!

Dan was extremely helpful through the whole wedding planning process. If he missed my call, he called me back as soon as he could. The photos turned out AMAZING! All of the photographers were super nice, especially Natalie who did our FREE engagement session. Our DJ was hilarious and definitely has awesome people skills. Our Photobooth attendant was super great as well. I was beyond satisfied with studio D2D. I will most definitely be going back to them for my future events. :)

Studio D2D is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They offer everything. I hired them for Dj, Photobooth and Videographer. The DJ was entertaining and funny all night (yet, professional and courteous), the photobooth was a HIT and we got a book of all the photo strips (with notes from guests next to their pictures) along with a CD of all the single photos AND the strop version of the photos on the wedding night before leaving the reception -- which was awesome to look through the next morning. We also just got our wedding video back (5 weeks after the wedding) fully edited and its over an hour long (not to mention they sent 3 DVD's so if you lose one or need to send one to family out of state you're covered). The videographer captured great footage and I will always cherish this video. The best part is -- the more services you book the more of a discount you get. HIGHLY RECOMMEND D2D!!!!!! This is where you need to spend your money!!! On entertainment and memories!!!

They were very professional. The photographer was not in your face all the time;however she took no close-ups of the bride and groom together. All the pictures were full length. And the reception venue was very unique and she took very few pictures of the tent/setting. Also not one picture of the red trolley that transported people to the site of the wedding and back to the reception site. She seemed to take a lot of unnecessary shots but I don't think she was given much direction by the bride and groom.

Would definitely recommend this vendor as a DJ. Vendor was very professional, and guided us through our event!!

I was very happy with the quality of the photo strips! The guy who helped with the Photobooth was great and I had many of my guests tell me as well. He did a great job putting together a keepsake book of the photos taken and I very grateful! I would reccomend the D2D Photobooth to everyone. They were great!!

Given how crazy our wedding party was the day of the event, it was amazing how effective D2D was! They truly pulled our day together and made it one of the most memorable events of our lives. I could not have asked for a better team than I found at D2D! I would recommend them to anyone! One of my best friends decided to go with them after she saw how efficiently they made my day run, how much fun they are, how comfortable they make you feel, and not to mention the absolutely fabulous pictures!! My cake (not from D2D) was a distaster but I was having too much fun with the photobooth- I didn't even care!!

We were very pleased with the crew we worked with from Studio D2D. Our photographers were great and help to keep us running on time. They gave us tons of great photos. We used studio D2D for DJ services,photobooth and uplighting.Dan the owner was very professional and friendly to talk to, with great wisdom in the wedding industry.their client area on their interactive website made it a breeze to choose from thousands of songs and you could add any special comments or notes for the dj to see.it was a really cool feature.but I must say that the photobooth was the number one thing my guests all raved about..the photobooth attendant was awesome and the guests just loved taking all the pictures in there and they provided tons of funny props.best thing was the awesome photobook i got to keep with all the photos from everyone plus a dvd with each individual picture on it.was great for facebooking.overall i would absolutely recommend them..they ROCK!

The entire staff of Studio D2D was INCREDIBLE. They truly made my day enjoyable and fun, and were a pleasure to work with. They are all gifted artists. My husband and I were blown away by the results of our storybook album!

The DJ was very personable and adjusted to a few last minute changes at the venue without missing a beat. During the planning stage the website to manage song choices and payment options worked very smoothly. I would recommend D2D to anyone looking for a quality DJ at a fair price.

Aaron from D2D was wonderful! I had no worries. He played great music, kept a great request list going for our guests, and was just a wonderful spokesman for the wedding! Would definitely recommend them again!

The photographer was also one of the most important aspects to us on our wedding day - D2D Studio is amazing and I am so glad we chose him! We had Dan as our main photographer and Natalie as our assistant. We had so much fun taking pictures with them! They are super creative and don't do just the typical "posing" - they created and captured some really beautiful and sometimes funny moments! He is a little slow in his responsiveness, but it is worth it - the pictures are absolutely amazing and we are so excited that he captured our perfect day in the way we dreamed!

Everyone at Studio D2D is great to work with. Dan and Andrea were very timely with responses to our questions, and they provide everything you could need to plan your big day (ceremony, reception, or both). As a couple living out of state, we found Studio D2D easy to work with remotely and had no issues doing our planning from a distance. The wedding planning web page that each couple fills out lets you customize your event exactly how you want. The years of experience that Dan and Andrea have in setting up events, working with vendors, and decorating event spaces is evident by the quality of services you receive. You can really tell that they care about you and want you to have the wedding you've always dreamed of. We would absolutely recommend Studio D2D!!

They were willing to give suggestions on what they thought would be good and were also willing to be flexible on what we wanted.

My videographer Dan did an excellent job providing a montage for my wedding and he was able to include a same day edit by putting clips from my wedding day into the montage for all my guest to see at the wedding reception. This was awesome and everyone really enjoyed it. He was extremely great with capturing moments without pressure of feeling like you spent the day behind a camera. My DJ nick was fantastic at keeping my guest moving on the dance floor. He followed my playlist of request and would play songs immediately upon request at the reception. The only negative think I could say about either was in the montage there was white space around the pictures and during the dancing portion of the reception there were a few times when pauses occurred between songs. But otherwise studio D2D did a fantastic job!

The booth attendant was very engaging and did an excellent job. The feedback from everyone was very positive.

The photo booth at our wedding was a total hit! I love looking back on the copy of the pictures that we got to keep with messages written by them, while everyone also got a copy of theirs.

We found it very helpful for the DJ to keep us on track with the things we wanted at our reception, like the dollar dance and cake cutting when so many people want to talk with you or dance with you.

I loved working with Dan and Andrea. It was awesome how I could use them for almost every aspect of my wedding, and didnt have to worry about things going wrong.

I think that I had the first wedding at there new venue and honestly I dont think one thing went wrong. I got so many different compliments, it was amazing. I cannot thank them enough for everything. If you are looking for a package deal and dont want to trust 5 different vendors for music, photography, floral etc. this is the place to use! :)

We were looking for a unique style for our photography which most vendors we reviewed were not able to provide. Luckily we found D2D! Dan and his team were not only able to capture the images we were hoping for; but they were extremely professional and managed our day perfectly. We needed to have a vendor that took the reigns and told people what to do and where to go. They helped us keep the pace of a very, VERY tight schedule while overcoming objections and adapting to situations. Honestly, no other vendor would have been able to do this. They are experienced and it shows. They kept the timeline, they adhered to our requests, and definitely exceeded our expectations. We know by the engagement photos that our wedding photos will turn out beautifully; we just can't wait to see them! If you need a vendor, you should consider D2D. They are affordable and very easy to work with. They take your concepts and bring them to life. Plenty of creativity streaming from this team; and of course they do a mix of formals and fun photos when they shoot! We only used their photo/ video services; but from what I hear of friends...they do a great job with DJ and floral as well.

I had Studio D2D provide the photobooth for my wedding. They were great and everyone loved the photobooth! There was an attendant all night and they provided a photo book that we used as our guest book. They even provided the props! It would occasionally take them a little bit to get back to me if I had a question, but other than that they were very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a photobooth for their wedding.

I was very pleased with Dan's work and the great service we received from him. He allowed us to completely customize our photography package so it was exactly what we wanted and fit perfectly within our budget. He helped us coordinate our wedding day and even wrote up a schedule for us to follow the day of which relieved a lot of possible stress. He has a lot of experience in the wedding industry and I felt very comfortable working with him. On the day of the wedding he was very easy to work with and was very professional during our ceremony.

We worked with Nick from Studio D2D as our DJ for our wedding reception. He did a great job of playing the music that we asked for, he was prompt and timely and responsive to any questions we had leading up to the event. He was a little bit more soft spoken than I anticipated and I felt it took him a long time to excuse guests to dinner too. However, overall we were very pleased. Would definitely recommend to others!

Very nice and we loved going back and looking through the pictures in our album from the photo booth, but the CD only had 10 pictures on it.

Had our reception here and it was an amazing night and leading up to the wedding went well. They just need a little work on their customer service. They took a little bit to answer some emails we had and during the night we didn’t love our DJ, he was a bit cranky and some of the workers were being a little unprofessional by sitting around and eating our food. But overall, I do recommend.

Our wedding day was perfect, but my overall experience with Studio D2D was frustrating, to say the least. As a package deal, I would first like to point out that the following services were exceptional: flowers, suits, and photography. These met my highest expectations and were very reasonably priced. The DJ was basic (played a handful off our extensive playlist and the rest seemed like his standard wedding set) but for the price, he was good. It was the venue team, specifically Amanda, that was difficult to work with and I honestly believe I am very easy going. She did not want to meet to go over details until 2 weeks out despite my requests, and then 10 days before the event she provided a set of venue rules we had never seen before that specifically disallowed a lot of our plans - plans which the team had known of for months. Eventually compromises were made but with every disagreement she was defensive, bordering closely on insulting. When we were only allowed to set up the venue at noon the day of (disrupting all get ready and picture plans), the coordinators did nothing but stand around micromanaging my family barking things like "you can't put that there" without offering a solution. My family was seriously offended. I will say Amanda ran the ceremony line well. There were other upsetting issues but like I said I was able to work a lot of that out with the owners and I am left with a feeling that our wedding was the happiest day, even if I felt like the venue team was not on my side in making that happen.

Studio D2D hosted our wedding and it was a huge disappointment.

I don't want to appear unfair, so I will start by saying there were a lot of positives: We had our ceremony and reception in The City View and our guests were well-fed, liquored up and dancing all night. The venue is gorgeous with ample parking. The catering and event staff did an excellent job setting up the tables, floral and decorations. The groomsmen LOVED that we were able to take care of tux rental & return completely onsite. Some parts of their tuxedos needed to be switched out, which D2D did by the next day.

Deanna did an excellent job walking us through the ceremony rehearsal and ceremony itself. However, it was after the ceremony that things started to fall apart, which by no coincidence was the time that Deanna decided to leave for the entire evening without not only telling us, but never was it mentioned she would only be “working” until 5. We were under the impression she was going to be there all night to help.

We were on a very tight schedule and were completely responsible for keeping the evening moving. The timing of dinner, cake cutting, first dances, etc. was all decided by us in real time while we were stuck running around making sure everything was ready for the next part of the night to take place. We couldn't do a garter toss because it was in a suitcase locked in her office. Late Night Pizza arrived- we ordered 10 and only saw 5. We saw several guests approach the table for pizza and walk away because the boxes were all empty. We had no idea where the others went until Deanna showed up at 11:30pm, who explained that they only put 5 out to keep the others warm. Completely understandable, except nobody took the responsibility to bring out the rest when the first 5 were gone.

The bottom line is that we needed help. We felt like we were the event coordinators, when they reassured us that we wouldn't have to lift a finger when the day comes. We needed a point-person that day of to help take care of business so the bride and groom weren't stuck running around all night. Deanna only showed up (30 minutes prior to the end of the event) after we complained to her staff. When she arrived, several guests commented on her attire and unprofessionalism. Like a few other reviews have stated, she was dressed very casually. The only point of contact we had was an intern, Andrea (she was wonderful) who was tasked with running our photobooth, so of course she couldn't abandon her post.

The DJ, Chris, was also unprofessional and contentious. He appeared flustered when I was reviewing some details with him that we'd already discussed. We didn't touch base until a mere 4 days before the event, though he swears he left several voicemails to my wife. We've been using phones our entire lives, and mysteriously were not getting these calls, and I have the logs to prove it. When we did finally touch base, he apologized for not trying to contact me after not being able to reach my wife. He kept generally poor contact with us right up the day of our wedding, and was watching a hockey game during the event. All things considered, he did a good job playing the music people wanted to hear, riling everyone up and keeping the party going.

To top it all off, we had several guests report Studio D2D event staff consuming alcohol from our bar (as mentioned in previous reviews). Along with a guest telling us she saw staff eat out of chocolate fountain and actually pulled them aside to tell them to not do that. I really wish we could get married all over again somewhere else.

Now that the date of our original wedding has passed and it has been confirmed after the fact that we aren’t getting our $1500 deposit back, please do not book Studio D2D Event Center for your wedding if you aren’t anticipating a catastrophic event, like your parent being given a terminal illness diagnoses that makes their life expectancy end before your wedding date you have booked at this specific venue. That was just the cherry on top of our horrible experience with them.

Our first red flag should have been when we toured and got told one thing, came in to sign our contract with the next person and was told the same things plus some enticing information to get us to sign our contract, all while the head manager was on vacation that entire time to come back and tell you some of that very important information wasn’t accurate and she was “sorry that they’ve had staff turnover and not everyone was on the same page.”

COUPLES BEWARE. RECOMMEND TO CHOOSE A DIFFERENT VENUE. We are really disappointed in Studio D2D and do not recommend booking this venue.

Short version: Poor communication, lack of professionalism and empathy, values capitalism more than the couples that book with them.

Long version: We originally booked for our September 12, 2020 wedding and had to re-book obviously due to COVID and moved it to June 26, 2021. My partner and I then made the difficult decision to cancel our June 26, 2021 date and give it to another couple. Per our contract, we were eligible for a refund of 80% of our $1500 deposit if the date was re-booked. We reached out to Deanna (who runs day-to-day operations for the venue) 3+ times via email throughout December with no response and the venue's phones go straight to voicemail. I had a friend go undercover and email Deanna to see if she'd reply to someone else about a date inquiry and sure enough, she responded to them confirming that our June 26, 2021 date had been re-booked.

Deanna finally responded to me today in a what I would call less than empathetic and empty response saying that because the exact package we had was not re-booked, they won't give us a penny back. I'm astounded it took almost a month to respond to my emails because they had to take time to "work new procedures." In all honesty, it seems as if the "new procedures" were created and applied retroactively to our inquiry because the venue seems to me prioritizes financial gain and treating people poorly instead of putting customers first and being compassionate.

On the same note, I was also less than impressed working with this venue prior to us canceling. Deanna was extremely flustered when I went to meet her, got me mixed up with other people and we did not love all of the strict rules for decorating. Seemed more like a template wedding factory than a place that was willing to work with you to create the day of your dreams.

PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER VENUE! There are plenty of other venues throughout Grand Rapids that are beautiful and continued to deliver excellent customer service throughout the pandemic. Studio D2D is just not one of them.
