The best of the best!

I would highly recommend Brian to anyone looking for a videographer for their special occasion! Not only was he so amazing and easy to work with, he walked us though each step in the process and answered all of our questions. He always called or texted me back in such a timely manner and even was able to help with our timeline and logistical questions. Brian brought my husband and I such peace of mind knowing that our wedding would be so beautifully captured on what was one of the most exciting and happiest days of our lives. He worked with our photographer so well and I can honestly say we had no stress on our wedding day, a huge part of that was because of Brian. He was always professional and supportive, even through all the stress of trying to navigate through Covid-19. When we got our video back both my husband and I cried. We are sooooo happy we made the decision to have him a part of our day and that we get to cherish these memories forever!

The Best!! Must book for your event

I have been in the wedding industry for quite some time and worked with so many different videographers in that time. I knew when it came down to my wedding I couldn't choose all of them but had to choose one. We choose BGS Productions because of their amazing work and how awesome Brian is. He really pours his heart into his work and you can see that our video he captured. He loves what he does and brings his A game to each wedding or events his films. He did not miss a beat, a special moment or the random ones you want to see, he caught it all. When we watched our video and got to relive our wedding day it was perfect. We were able to be in the moment but also watch everyone else and see everything that we couldn't get to or see on our wedding day as you can only be in one place at a time and with some guest at a time. Booking Brian for your wedding day videographer will be your best choice. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Amazing Team and Amazing Work!

Brian and the BGS Production team was absolutely amazing! My husband and I got married at The Langham in Pasadena, and our video captured every magical moment we shared. We are so very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them! Thank you BGS, we have watched our wedding video so many times and love every minute of it.

Stellar videography for any event

I'll preface by saying that I have known Brian a long time as family friends and neighbors, but that should not in any way distort this review of BGS' stellar service and work.

My husband and I were not positive at first that a video was on our list of must-haves for our wedding, but after discussing with family and friends, we decided that it was something we would regret omitting and a keepsake we would treasure. That could not be more accurate when it comes to the process and product delivered by Brian and BGS.

Brian and team took care of us from day one, in more ways than just offering videography services. His knowledge of the wedding landscape, familiarity with events of all kinds, and generosity with honest advice truly helped shape our day, and mirrored our desire to make our wedding feel personal and warm. Moreover, Brian's absolute professionalism and care day-of meant we could focus on being in the moment (which he constantly encouraged us to do!).

The videos BGS produces speak for themselves - watching was like being back on that day, and we could see the fun and love that surrounded us in all of the moments captured.

BGS was phenomenal!

Brian and the team at BGS were absolutely phenomenal! Brian was caring, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He's been filming weddings for 18 years and knows almost every wedding venue in Los Angeles! Tell him where you're looking at getting married and he'll give you advice on what to do or not to do, what to look out for etc. I'm not talking about just the videography at the venue, but EVERYTHING. He's been in this industry for a long time and can absolutely help you make sure that your day is perfect. This of course is in addition to filming an absolutely beautiful day that you'll cherish forever. Getting video of the wedding is one the most important things you can spend your money on, and BGS is hands down the best option. Give Brian a call and you absolutely won't be disappointed.

Blown Away with the BEST Videographer you could find!!!!

Brian was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was referred to us by one of my Business Associates and we could not be happier with him and his work. Brian is very knowledgeable and was a huge help with helping me create a rough time line for the day of since I did not have a coordinator and had no clue where to start. He makes sure that the day is about you and your future husband/wife and that you feel special and the magic of the day. He went above and beyond the expectations that we had going into it. I will always recommend Brian and his team to anyone looking for a videographer.

He was not only helpful prior to our big day but the day of he was on point and focused to capture every special moment. Mind you our wedding was during the California fires this past fall and he was dealing with all of this stress back home while maintaining focus on us. He is exceptional!

He is fast with his work and we gave him creativity freedom to do his job and didn't dictate the music or shots, etc. to go into our film. Everyone has been raving about how much they love our video and it is all thanks to Brian and the BGS Team for understanding who my husband and I were and grasping what we were looking for without us nit picking every little detail.

I promise you will not be disappointed!!!!

Highly recommend bgs!

Upon first meeting with Brian, it took only fifteen minutes for my wife and I to choose him to film our wedding day just based off of the vibe we got from him. It was easy to see how much passion and love he has for his job and he went above and beyond throughout the whole process. Our video came out absolutely perfect as he not only captured all the moments, but put together the most incredible highlight video that my wife and I can't stop watching. I would HIGHLY recommend Brian and BGS Productions to everyone!

Everything you want in a wedding videographer!

This review is long overdue, but very much deserved. My husband and I got married in April, and Brian/BGS Productions was so fantastic. We couldn't have been happier with a videographer. The majority of the pre-wedding communication was done between Brian and my mom, and he was so communicative and very willing to answer her questions. That meant a lot and helped to establish our confidence in him as our wedding videographer. On the day of our wedding, when I first met Brian, everything went great! He is fun to have around, makes you feel calm and at ease, and doesn't interrupt the flow of anything. He and his assistant were both excellent. After the wedding, his attention and communication did not stop there. He continued to update me with his progress on our video and he was able to get it to us very quickly! I was surprised at how quickly we got our finished wedding video, that was great. The video itself was also fantastic. Great flow of music (that he lets you choose if you want) and video. He perfectly captured our day. I highly recommended Brian and BGS Productions. You will not be disappointed!

Brian did a great job! We were concerned that by having a videographer they would be obtrusive, but he was so professional that this wasn't the case at all! We are so pleased we hired a videographer as we will cherish the video more than our photos and love sharing it with all our friends and family. We hope to have children of our own one day and they will love having this short film of their parents and their special day! Highly recommend!

My wife and I always said something we wanted/needed to do right for our wedding were the photographer and videographer, in short because even the day after the wedding, all we would have were the memories that will eventually fade, and whatever the photographer and videographer captured for us. Having secured our photographer, we reached out to Brian after seeing his work at a friend of ours' wedding, and we could not be happier with the work he and his team did for us and our wedding! His professionalism was second to none and speaks for itself, but what stood out for us was his involvement and care for us in the entire process. He understood what we were seeking and delivered it, and more, exceeding our expectations.

I highly recommend Brian and BGS Productions to anyone who wants their special day preserved through time. It was some of the best money we spent on the entire wedding, and I think everyone who uses BGS Productions will feel the exact same!

Brian is one of the kindest and helpful professionals out there. My wife and I were looking for a videographer for our wedding and BGS Productions was highly recommended to us from 3 different vendors. After getting a couple video quotes, we went to meet with him and were amazed at the quality of his work. His prices are super reasonable and competitive and his work stands for itself. The video quality is superb, the audio is fantastic and clear, and the video file we received is perfect!
We have already recommended Brian to a few of our recently engaged friends and will continue to recommend him to anyone looking!!

Brian is an outstanding videographer. He communicated often throughout the entire wedding planning process and made me feel completely at ease. Brian recently shot the video for my wedding and he was great. So easy to work with and the outcome of the video was amazing. My husband and our families got such joy out of being able to watch our wedding over and re-live that day. I realize now more than ever how important it is to get a videographer for your wedding and one who does top quality ones such as Brian at BGS Productions. Our package came with a highlight video and a fully edited hour long video of the entire day. You can’t put a price on it! I highly recommend BGS Productions.

Look no further! Brian recently filmed our wedding on the beach and he captured every special moment! When we received our video we were blown away with the results. We are now able to re-live the best day ever, over and over again. He is not only fun and easy to work with, but the outcome of the video was more than we could have dreamt of. My husband and I had a very specific vision of what we wanted, and Brian exceeded all expectations! With the the noise of the waves, and the wind, Brian was still able to deliver a video that made it look like the weather was on our side. If you're reading this review, then your search for the perfect videographer should now be over - book Brian immediately. We could not have made a better choice than going with Brian for our videography. He was professional and delightful every step of the way - extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning (one of our few vendors who ALWAYS replied to our emails and calls in a timely manner), on-time (even early!) day-of, and more than reasonably priced. More importantly, though, Brian was an incredible presence. He kept us all calm during the stressful pre-ceremony period, and was always willing to go above and beyond to help out - carrying my dress down to the car from the hotel room, helping our photographer find places for portraits, keeping us on schedule, etc. He even gave us a few much-needed pep talks about being in the right headspace on that important day. Before the wedding, we had underestimated how important it would be to have relaxing, kind, generous, fun personalities around us on the wedding day - looking back, this was SO important, and was epitomized by Brian and his team. We literally could not recommend Brian more highly!!!

Hiring Brian for my wedding was the best decision we made!! I literally don't even know where to begin. Brian is beyond approachable and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. All our friends at the wedding thought my husband and Brian had known each other for years! That's how amazing he is to work with that he feels like a friend than some dude you just hired.

Not only did Brian capture the true essence of our entire wedding ... Like I'm obsessed with our wedding video!!! The love story video he made of us and our friends was a HIGHLIGHT of the evening. We laughed, cried, and felt so loved!!

Seriously if you are contemplating hiring Brian ... Don't, JUST DO IT !!! Everything you expect and want it will be BETTER!!! I have the best memories to watch over and over !!!

Brian and team were the BEST!! Since the first meeting we had, it was clear that BGS Productions was the perfect videographer for us. Not only is Brian the NICEST, but they captured everything so beautifully on the day of. They were timely, stayed "out of our way" and got along really well with our photographer. They gave us the best memory of our special day. We absolutely loved the short trailer, and even the full length video is not too long, and really shows everyone who attended!

BGS Productions and Brian Starkman are the absolute best! He worked extremely well with my photographer which was an important trait for my husband and I to find in a videographer because we needed someone who was flexible enough to work with his artistic vision. Just like other reviewers have said, you couldn't even tell Brian was there the day of, yet he captured the most beautiful moments! He was also very accommodating during the final edits of the video process and listened to our musical requests with patience and understanding. We received the physical copies and a link in timely manner and adorably packaged! We couldn't recommend them enough. Thanks again guys, you truly captured a magical evening.

My wife and I found Brian when we went to a bridal event at the venue where we were going to get married. We weren't thinking of having a videographer...but something told us to get one and to go with Brian. His prices seemed very reasonable, so we did.

It was seriously the best thing we did for our wedding!

Besides your spouse...your wedding video will be the best thing you walk away with from the wedding. We watch our video a few times a year and really are so happy to have it, we would have seriously regretted not getting one.

That being said, nothing is worse than a hokey or cheesey wedding video..and this is why we love Brian's work so much.

Its sentemental and real, not cheesey and cheap feeling. The quality of the video is as good as it gets, and his methods are fantastic. His experience really shined through when our awesome, but very young, soft spoken photographer had trouble with "crowd control" and giving directions to the bridal party. Brian jumped into action and helped with all of the herding and directing for not only his videos, but also for the photographer. Another thing I loved about Brian's work is that his videos were detailed and up close, but he wasn't in our faces...he was like a ninja, I didn't even notice him and never saw him crossing in front of the ceremony. He knows what he's doing. He had an assistant with him for the ceremony to get multiple angles, and then we had him fly solo for the party, where he could move around more.

Brian is someone who cares about his craft, and cares about his customers. We felt extremely well-cared for every step of the way, and to this day I still feel like my wife and I have a friend in Brian. We will refer everyone we know who needs a great videographer to Brian and BGS Productions!

My new husband and I live in San Diego and we go married down here. I tried to find local vendors to keep costs down, but was given Brian's name by a friend in the valley. They told me he was the BEST. I interviewed Brian on the phone and was instantly sold. He offered so much advice and was so knowledgeable about wedding planning that he even offered to stay in touch and be a resource if I didn't book him. I did, of course, and we are so glad we did and so glad he made the drive! Brian was THE BEST vendor we had at our wedding! My hubby calls him the "come from behind favorite" because he didn't see how valuable the videographer would be until the day of. Brian was the vendor I had the most confidence in. I booked his colleague photographer solely on his rec and again, NO REGRETS. The team worked together wonderfully! They matched our level of enthusiasm through the day, made it fun and super memorable. AND THE VIDEO!!! I waited until after I got our video to write this review so I could say how AMAZING our video was! I would watch it every day (and almost do.. atleast the highlights recap). It took me a whole 30 sec in before I cried (tears of joy). He caught every wonderful moment. Having a videographer was the best decision for this day- DO NOT GO WITHOUT and DO NOT BOOK ANYONE ELSE.. you will NOT be disappointed! Thank you Brian for this wonderful memory! Now excuse me.. Brian is the best!

He did our wedding in May and we had the best time with him. He is so professional and is everywhere and no where at the same time. He captured moments that I completely missed on our day and it was so much fun watching our video. We asked him to stay an extra hour last minute and he was so great about it. When we got our video a few weeks after our wedding it was wrapped up so cute in a nice little package. I highly recommend him.

We hired BGS Productions to capture my son's wedding and I have to say we are extremely happy with the end result. Brian captured this important day so perfectly. We weren't sure if we were going to hire a photographer and a videographer, but after seeing the final product, we are so happy we did. BGS was a DREAM vendor! Brian and his team are extremely knowledgeable about weddings and offered many great suggestions that made our wedding day extra special. Not only did they capture the day perfectly, they turned around our full video and shorter highlight video SO quickly! Both videos captured the wedding, our happiness and the spirit of the event in the most incredible manner. He is creative and has an artful eye which made for some memorable video and photo moments. He is quick and detailed in his responses and answers all questions with ease. My brother is going to be getting married in the coming year and we will without a doubt be using BGS again!

I cannot say enough good things about BGS Productions and the owner, Brian. My husband and I just watched our wedding video and I cried (happy tears) throughout most of it. He captured the entire day and so many amazing moments beautifully. It was the wedding of my dreams and it is reflected in the video. Brian is professional, friendly, helpful, and talented. Brian and his team were AMAZING!! They made the whole wedding process go just a little bit easier by making things very simple yet understanding what you want from your wedding day. From just a few emails and phone calls, the finished product is SO amazing and it really took my husband and I back to that day and those special moments we shared with our family and friends. I gotta say, when I received my pictures I was a tiny bit bummed that they weren't able to get a shot of my husbands first time seeing me as I walked down the aisle. But BRIAN AND HIS TEAM CAPTURED THAT MOMENT!!! It made me so extremely happy to see that included in the video. And then on top of that there were moments that I wasn't even able to see because I was somewhere else and they really captured all of it. BGS is incredible and I would recommend Brian to any future brides and grooms out there. His professionalism, experience and love for what he does truly shines throughout the time leading up to the wedding and certainly after in the work he delivers. We've watched our video over an over again as it captured everything throughout the day and encompasses the love and fun we had surrounding us on our special day. Brian was able to really get all of the special moments recorded and edited into a beautiful piece of work.

My advice: Don't spend time thinking if you should spend money on a videographer for your wedding - just do it. It's worth every dime you spend and more. And - meet with Brian and watch his work on his website. He is the best at what he does and cares about each of his clients. You'll tear up watching other people's weddings on his website, so just imagine what he'll do for yours.

One of the few decisions I completely entrusted to my daughter for her wedding was her choice of videographer. One phone call with Brian and I knew she made the right choice. Fast forward one year, now that the wedding is over, and I have to say I feel even stronger (if that's possible) that the choice was absolutely perfect!!!! Brian is overwhelmingly professional. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and he has a certain warmth that makes you feel like he is family, all while knowing his place and not being obtrusive or "in the way" as the day is going on. In fact, you may not even know he is there, except that you will have an UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL COMPREHENSIVE wedding video to look back on for years to come! I can not say enough good things about Brian. Our family thinks he's the best of the best!!!!

Words cannot describe how grateful we are to Brian and BGS Productions for our wedding video. We’ve watched it several times and there’s truly no better way to relive our wedding day and all the precious memories that went along with it. There are so many things captured in the video that we weren’t even aware of, special moments or funny mishaps that only Brian was able to memorialize for us. Every time we watch the video we laugh, we cry, and laugh some more. Our friends and family absolutely love the highlight video and Brian did a great job of editing the various clips to fit our music selection. When one of my bridesmaids saw herself in the video she commented that she hadn’t even realized there was a videographer present. Brian did a great job of blending into the background so the day could unfold and be captured naturally. I'm not one who normally writes reviews for companies, in fact this will be my first ever, but after my wonderful experience with BGS Productions I really felt like I needed to write them a review.

From the beginning we knew that the most important part of our wedding, and the things we wouldn't lower our budget on, would be the photo and video because those are the two that actually stay with you after the big day is over. I can't say how grateful I am that we found Brian. He and his staff are so professional and sincere and from all of the vendors I worked with for my wedding (and there were a lot) Brian was one of the few whom I felt made my job easier. Every time I called or emailed him he responded promptly, answering all of my questions. Before the wedding, he even took the time to make me a timeline of the wedding day because I didn't have a coordinator.

Brian's video-editing skills are impeccable and his turnaround time for the video is much faster than most videographers. We received our video on time, as he promised, and I can't tell you how many times we've watched it already. It looks amazing! Thank you, Brian and your crew, for all of your hard work.

One of the best decisions my husband and I made in the wedding planning process was choosing BGS productions to film our wedding. From the beginning, Brian was so attentive, professional and caring. He walked us through everything, and made sure he knew exactly what our vision was and what we wanted.

Brian flew from LA to SF to film our wedding, and even came a day earlier to make sure he got some SF scenery shots and had plenty of time the day of. He was amazing at our wedding. He caught all aspects of our big day without being overbearing. He is truly the best at what he does, and I couldn't recommend him more.

We got our full video this weekend, and were so overjoyed with the final product. He totally got our vision, and it was so wonderful to relive that great day, and to see so many things we missed. Thank you Brian and BGS Productions!

There are very few people who can make time stand still, but Brian is one of those people. Our wedding was magical... the best day our our lives, and I specifically remember walking up to Brian right before the ceremony started and told him how happy I was that her was there, because I was only retaining about 15% of this day... I have watched my wedding video every single day for the last month, and ever time, the magic Brain worked takes me back to every step in the sand, every dance step... it takes me back to cutting the cake, listening to our toasts, and spending the most amazing night with our friends and family. Brian was professional, and has a passion for what he does, and it shows in his work, that we clearly will tell you is NOT work. it's what he loves to do. Brian was very professional throughout the entire experience. In our first meeting, Brian made us feel very comfortable and we could tell he would do a fabulous job. We booked him several months before the wedding and he continued to check in with us regarding our preferences and offering assistance and referrals to other vendors as needed. The day of our wedding, Brian was not in our faces with a camera and did not disrupt the ceremony to get great shots. He was prompt in editing and giving us our final product and we could not be HAPPIER. It allowed us to relive the whole night over and over again. Brian is a fantastic videographer and we were thrilled with our wedding video. A videographer wasn't originally part of our wedding budget, but we stretched and boy, are we glad we did. It is abundantly clear that Brian genuinely cares about his clients and wants to create an amazing video for them. He is a true gentleman and was very enjoyable to have at our wedding. He collaborated with our photographer and other vendors to make the day go smoothly. He even pinned the men’s boutonnieres so that we could remain on schedule.
My husband was concerned that it would feel unnatural to be on camera but Brian and his camera were almost invisible (in the best way possible). He was extremely responsive with emails and patiently answered our (many) questions, including song selections for our video. He produced an excellent video with a great turnaround time. We couldn’t be happier with Brian!

My only rule when searching for the perfect videographer was NO CHEESE. I had watched over a dozen horrifying and ridiculously cheesy, elevator music wedding videos. My husband and I are not tradition by any means, so we wanted a videographer who could really capture our insanity, without actually making us look insane. When my mom told me she found the perfect man, I was shocked. First, I thought she was having an affair. Then, I realized she was talking about Brian! I first met Brian when he worked my cousin's wedding. I automatically fell in love with him...and so did my fiance. He was personable, passionate about his work, funny as hell, and serious about making us happy. Our wedding was an interesting one. The beach that I thought would be deserted was full of people having summer fiestas. I knew that the video would be full of photo bombs and people flying kites, and I couldn't help but wish we had picked another venue. Of course, none of this bothered Brian. He managed to capture every single perfect moment of our wedding without one photo bomber in sight. We received our video last week and I've watched it 11 times. I may need an intervention. Brian and his team created a masterpiece...without an ounce of cheese. My sexy husband and I are so beyond grateful to Brian and his undying dedication to his craft. We highly recommend BGS Productions to every cool bride and groom who don't want a cheesy wedding video.

Brian did our friends wedding and she raved about him. It was a no brainer. He's a totally sweet, personable, professional guy. He made me feel comfortable which is important because I'd be spending a lot of time with him... However- as soon as the wedding started it was as if he disapearred. I didn't notice him until the very end of the night when he said goodbye. He was busy capturing every wonderful moment of our day. We spoke to Brian weeks later and gave him our music choices for the video. A few weeks later, we received the most amazing gift- our wedding! We can now relive our wedding all over again! Every time we watch it we cry with joy. So do our folks- both Mom's have a copy and they are still watching it weekly (6 months later) and crying through the whole thing. Brian really captured the spirit of our special day. We have a great little 5 minute recap of our wedding (that we watch weekly) and then we have the full UNCUT footage- WE HAVE EVERYTHING. I can look back years later and watch my whole wedding. See the vows that we said to each other- UNCUT. It's amazing. Thank you so much Brian!

Brian was not only attentive and professional, but he understood and performed his expertise with ease and skill beyond compare. Being in the event business myself, I am a bit jaded at times so when it came to my wedding I knew that I needed a videographer to capture the best parts of our loving day. Honestly, I didn't think I needed a videographer until about 2 weeks before our wedding I realized my grandpa that resides in Michigan along with the rest of my family couldn't make the trip. I also was referred by a friend and she was ecstatic with their results and at the time her father was diagnosed with a brain tumor and most recently passed so it really hit me that it would be of the utmost importance to have this day filmed. It was an expense that my husband and I weren't planning on incurring since we paid for our entire wedding ourselves, but it became my favorite piece of the day to relive the moments and memories so vividly.

Brian was caring, understanding and fun all at the same time. He helped my husband tie his now tie that he HAD to do himself and not only was stealth as stealth can be during the entire day and evening. He was also extremely respectful and had great, simple advice to offer throughout the day to keep me, my entire family and friends from all over the world to keep everyone happy and calm.

We got married in venues that I sell the space for so it was also a first for me and my team. I am impressed and excited about his work and my nephews loved the DVD so much that they requested their own afterwards! Brian is not only considered an excellent vendor and contact that I would refer time and time again, but he is a friend for life that Danny and I could never forget or thank enough!

One of the most important vendors for my husband and I was the videographer. Our wedding video was one of the few memories we would have forever and when we chose BGS Productions, we knew we made the right choice. Seeing there work really put us at ease that Brian and his amazing team would capture every special moment of our wedding. Brian was so wonderful to work with, always responded to my emails quickly and made this portion of wedding planning super easy. His team was on time the day of the wedding and very professional and sweet throughout the day dealing with my crazy Armenian family! We got multiples copies of our dvd and blurays exactly 2 months after our wedding and it was the first glimpse into our whirlwind day. The moment the video started I was in tears. Brian is a gem and my husband and I were so honored to have him with us on our big day. Prior to getting engaged, I had been a guest at numerous weddings where Brian and his team were the videographers. Each wedding only reconfirmed that Brian would indeed be with me the day I said I do, and he of course was. Having perfectly captured our 450+ person wedding (and without using a crane!), Brian has allowed me and my husband to relive our wedding night over and over again.

On the day of my wedding, Brian was like family. He captured every moment so beautifully and was always just a few steps away. His intuition is like no other - he knows exactly when an unforgettable moment is about to happen and fully captures it. My husband and I received our wedding video in the most timely manner and I, of course, cry every single time I watch it. Brian had asked me what kind of music I wanted for our "recap". I provided him with a few artists/songs that I liked and he reassured me that he knew exactly what I wanted - and he could not have been more right. The music compliments each scene so perfectly which makes it all so much better.

Brian and his team are without a doubt the best in town. Do not hesitate for a second!

Hands down, the best videographer on the planet!! Not only did Brian perfectly capture our big day and provide us with an incredible video, but he is also a stellar person.

BGS's prices are very reasonable and Brian was so prompt with getting us our video after the wedding. Working with Brian exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier with the end result. BGS is the only videographer we will ever recommend!

Side note that further proves BGS is awesome: Brian helped wrangle our family and wedding party and made sure our photographers (who didn't have as much wedding experience) got all the shots we could have wanted... Brian from BGS Productions was one of our favorite vendors. The video is AMAZING (I cried just as much watching the video as I did at the wedding). But besides Brian's talented video skills, his personality is really what sets him apart from the rest. His demeanor is great and we barely knew he was around because he is so quiet and out of the way. But, he still got the best footage and the editing is great. I was lucky enough to spend a few moments alone with Brian while he was filming my dress before the wedding and those few minutes completely calmed me down. His nature is just so calming and relaxed which is so important on your wedding day. I've met other videographers who want to be the center of attention and I could not have handled that. I was fortunate to come across Brian of BGS upon my coordinator's recommendation & I'm grateful I did! I am a super type A person and after spending months online looking at various websites & watching random wedding video clips, when I visited the website for BGS, I just KNEW I wanted to work with this team. When I first spoke to Brian I learned he was booked and was quite disappointed..my search continued & 2 months later, I still hadn't found any company I felt that same authentic vibe with that I did with BGS. I luckily called Brian again to see if any other team members were available & as some things are simply meant to be - so was this (the prior wedding was called off so he was all mine)!

He was super nice and accommodating every time we spoke & when I met him at their office there was no question I was going to hire his team! I literally bonded with my wedding videographer for at least 2 hours at our first meeting. In Brian you not only find a highly professional videographer , you find a friend who is not only super talented but who truly , truly LOVES what he done. That passion transcends into his work product & you will be so very pleased with it!!!

Everyone was amazed to hear that we already received our wedding video - BGS works effectively and honors every promise made. We were really so happy with his work! BGS Productions is by far THE BEST in the business. I was fortunate enough to meet Brian Starkman when I first wanted to propose to my wife. Brian was present when I proposed to my wife in my childhood backyard with Capital Cities playing and all of our closest friends and family present. The proposal as well as the party were both surprises. Brian's video was picture perfect. He captured the true element of the surprise and the unforgettable love and emotion when I asked my wife to marry me.

Thereafter, BGS Productions were again there to capture our wedding. Words cannot describe the level of perfection when we were able to watch our wedding video after the big day. If there is ever an artist of his profession, or a master of his craft, it is Brian Starkman. The wedding video allows us to truly relive the best day of our lives. Brian is an amazing videographer! He loves what he does and it shows in his work! With his kind personality, and the quality of work he produces, I knew I wanted him to video my wedding. I could tell he took great pride in his work from the moment I met him. We originally hired just one videographer (Brian) to film our wedding. A month before our wedding he contacted me and asked if he could bring another videographer at no extra charge to video tape our wedding, because he said that the footage would be covered better at different angles. Now if that alone doesn't show you how nice and professional he is then listen to this.... He video taped our entire wedding and it didn't even seem like we were being video taped at all! A few weeks later we received our DVDs and we forgot to tell him that we wanted a certain part of our reception in the tape. We asked him if it was too late to add the footage and wanted to pay him but he would not take anything and he made us new videos for free with what we had asked for added.
I am so thankful for Brian. He helped my husband Mark and I relive our most special day through his awesome video (when you are a bride and groom your special day goes by so fast, you don't remember or are unable to see a lot of the fun that is going on). Now we have that day saved forever and have so much fun watching it, and showing it to our friends and family.
All of you brides out there...you are missing out if you don't higher Brian as your videographer. He is the best and I would give him 10 stars if I could.

When planning our wedding, my husband and I really weighed out what was important to us. First, to choose vendors that we connect with on a personal level- not just people who do great work. Second, we determined that Photo/Video was so important that we would design our budget around finding great people to capture our day. We found both qualities in Brian. We first met with Brandon from Couture Foto as our photographer, and then Brian entered the room (they work in the same office) to discuss his vision. I believe we stayed in their office for over an hour just talking, laughing, and looking over their work. Brian is a person that I hope to run into out in the world, because he is vibrant, witty, and incredibly talented to boot. Meeting someone like him is lucky in life, having him there to capture the biggest day of your life is a wonderful bonus. He is passionate, compassionate, and talented. He understands weddings, and when we saw photos our friends took with their phones we noticed that Brian was everywhere he needed to be, yet we NEVER noticed him capturing footage, that is a talent all in itself. Where do we start?! Let's go back to about 6 months ago when we were finalizing all of our wedding plans, vendors, and details...My friend was reminiscing about her wedding to me when she said, "The one thing I regret is not getting a videographer - you should 100% get one". After days of entertaining the idea, I reached out to my amazing photographer (Brandon Humes @ Couture Foto) to see if he knew anyone. Well, he in fact did and it was BGS Productions. I reached out to Brian immediately to set up time to chat. (Referrals are key for weddings, by the way.)

Usually when you meet with vendors, you feel overwhelmed but with Brian - it was very laid back, easy, professional, and my personal favorite - humorous. He had great work to showcase and I loved that he was so personable. Clearly, you need to relate to your photographer and videographer to make the wedding a success.

The day of the wedding, as all brides are - I was stressed out but nervous, excited, and full of emotion. Brian kept me laughing the entire time, made me feel comfortable and it allowed me to forget all my worries for my wedding day. Everything felt natural, not forced, and we were able to capture ALL of our key moments.

Fast forward to now, when we got our video (Yes, only after 3 weeks!) - my husband and I were able to relive our entire experience again. We laughed, we cried, and we laughed some more. We watched it numerous times since! We are so fortunate to have had Brian because there were moments that we forgot about that he was able to capture for us. It meant a LOT.

Now for the big question, would I recommend Brian to my friends? Absolutely. In a heart beat. Will you get everything you wanted from the experience? Yes. Take it from me, getting a videographer is almost as important as the dress, the venue, and the photographer.

I honestly don't even know where to start in reviewing BGS Productions. I received my wedding video back 2 weeks ago (Only 6 weeks after our wedding, shocking I know!) and I've seen it about 7 times already! Brian is hands down the most incredible, talented and sweetest person. I found BGS Productions off his reviews online and only after reading a few reviews I knew that we had to contact him. I had a few other options for videographers, but after meeting with Brian I knew we had found the guy for the job and let me tell you, it was the BEST decision we made. Choosing a photographer and videographer is probably the most important decision when planning a wedding and it's the time to be least stingy because they are by far the one of the most essential parts of your wedding. Our wedding day was long, emotional and overwhelming and the next morning we literally couldn't remember half the details and that's when you're most grateful for hiring an amazing videographer!

In addition to hiring BGS for our wedding we also had him do a video montage for us to show during the video so we worked with Brian a few times before the actual wedding and each time we were blown away by his professionalism, commitment and wonderful personality. After the first time Brian came to the house to shoot the montage with both our families, by the end of the day it felt as though he became part of the FAM!

To make a long story short both our video montage and our wedding video were incredible. Brian's editing skills are truly suburb. He captured every moment of our wedding perfectly and still managed to not make our video 6 hours long. My wedding video is now my favorite Movie :) I can watch it all day every day....it really is that great!

So moral of the story is if you're looking for a videographer look no further than BGS Productions! I'm so happy that we found Brian and even though our wedding is over we have now gained a great friend. Thank you Brian for everything!!!!! Xo

Brian filmed both my daughter Chantal and Gabrielle's weddings. The videos are amazing. We love watching them. The music is great and he caught all of the important moments plus many more. Working with Brian was the best experience. We didn't need to tell him anything. We barely noticed he was there. We love Brian and his work. He is extremely professional and very easy to work with. My wife and I were married at North Ranch Country Club and hired Brian as our videographer. The first thing I would like to say is that Brian is more than just a videographer. He helped us in making important decisions and suggestions regarding our wedding and also has great connections/relationships with other vendors as well which saved us a lot of time, headaches and money in the whole process. Not only was our video exciting and emotional because he captured all the right moments but it was also very professional. The audio was great (he supplied us with microphones so you could hear us during the ceremony) and the video was excellent quality. His video was so good that whether it be 5 months or 5 years from now, when we watch our video it will feel like we are back at the wedding again. If you are shopping around make sure you ask the right questions because this is the one and only chance you will be able to capture your wedding so choose wisely. It's funny how people spend thousands on venues, food, dresses etc. but when it comes time to capture the moment they choose a 'fly by night' discount videographer. Our choice was a great one going with BGS Productions. Thanks Brian!

Due to budget constraints, we were on the fence about having a videographer at all, but we decided in the end that we would regret not having a video. Well, hiring Brian and BGS Productions was the best decision that we made throughout our whole wedding process!!!! There are no words to describe just how good he is. He truly is a master at his craft and goes above and beyond to make sure that the bride and groom feel comfortable at all times.

Our photographer was completely overwhelmed during our wedding day and Brian totally stepped it up and orchestrated and choreographed every single shot. Without him we would have NOTHING to show for our special day.

His communication and responsiveness were so impressive. He checked in (BY PHONE!!) multiple times prior to the wedding and was so willing to do whatever it took to ensure that everything was PERFECT!!!!

The turnaround time of getting the finished video was unheard of. We received our video just a few weeks after our wedding and we've watched it a countless number of times!!!

My advice to every bride and groom: LOOK NO FURTHER. You not only come out of it with an amazing video that captures your wedding day with so much emotion, but a great friend who truly loves what he does and cares about his clients!

Best wedding video ever!!! I have seen some friends wedding videos and nothing compares to the quality we received. Brian did a wonderful job with all aspects of this video and was able to capture everything while being unintrusive. He is also very professional and worked as a team with our photographer, so there was no turf wars over who got the best shot. Flowers die, drinks get drank, food gets eaten, tuxedos returned and yet couple years later my wedding DVD from BGS productions sits warmly next to my television after being viewed many times over. This was truely the best money spent on our wedding!

Reasons why we refer BGS productions
-the finished DVD was amazing. Captured the highlights as well as things my wife and I didn't experience
-super easy and flexible to work with. Brian was also a great resource for advice outside of videography regarding our wedding. (added bonus)
-takes major pride in his work. (This will ensure he gives you 110% of his efforts)
-high level of professionalism, integrity, and great with all types of personalities (This will come in handy from bridezillas to the groom that is told to just "show up")

I can go on and on, but I won't. I will wrap things up by saying if we had to press the restart button, BGS productions would be one of the only decisions we would NOT change. Do yourself a favor and book him!

Let me start of by saying if I could give BGS Productions more than 5 stars, I would!!! Two weeks before our wedding, I decided that I wanted a videographer. I contacted Brian and he was able to meet with us right away. (His response time to email is amazing!) After meeting with him, I loved his work and decided to book right away. Brian is very professional and was a pleasure to work with. He captured our wedding day perfectly and I love being able to go back and watch it. He is great at what he does and you barely notice him during your big day. He was very flexible and has a great personality! THANK YOU Brian and BGS Productions for capturing our special day. The. Best. Wedding. Videographers. Period.

Brian and the BGS crew were awesome. Originally we were thinking of just having photographers at our wedding (because we met with some videographers who showed us their work and most of it was extra Cheesy)... BUT then we met with Brian and our perception changed. His concept of using actual music from the live band in the wedding for the video, and the way the video itself was shot was exactly what we wanted..... and his pricing was extremely fair for the quality of service and attention that we were getting.
Not only did Brian ease us into our actual wedding day by helping us with the scouting and suggestions of some pre-Wedding locations to shoot at, but throughout the entire process he kept in touch with us to help with other aspects of the wedding planning (Suggesting some vendors to get estimates, etc).
The day of the Wedding, the crew was with us bright and early and guided us very professionally along the way of the pre-Wedding shoots (@ hotel, @ the Beverly Hills park, @ our house). They definitely helped with our Wedding day nerves. At the wedding venue, they blended in with our 160 guests, and caught all of the touching, hilarious, and memorable moments (many of which we actually did not see and/or remember until we saw the actual wedding video.... WHICH TURNED OUT EVEN BETTER THAN WE HOPED!). We could not have asked for anything better. We will always be grateful to BGS for leaving us with an amazing experience and a perfect wedding video.

STOP searching for wedding videographers - if you've luckily found your way to BGS Productions, YOU'VE FOUND YOUR GUY.

We got our DVDs back surprisingly quick and watched our video right away - and loved it!!! I watched it with so much anticipation just given how much fun it was working and communicating back and forth with Brian on every last "fine detail" - and by the end of it we were BOTH SO HAPPY with it. My wife (and her parents) really loved it too and said it was everything she was hoping for, so that's really what it's all about in the end!

I was especially pumped that all the song selections and editing came out so well too. Brian really helped me make all the right choices, and thankfully was so flexible and understanding through the entire process. I also went to great lengths to make a huge entrance for our reception by arriving via HELICOPTER, and Brian and his videographer crew captured the big moment SOOOO perfect and seamlessly showcased it into our video. He even did a special edit for our Recap/Highlight video with my favorite FUN. song.... and oh man, HE NAILED IT. Exactly what I was hoping for. I'm sure every couple that he works with says this, but we were literally up and dancing along in our living room by the end of the video, especially with the bonus dance set/montage!

Just big smiles all around. :) We've both been really busy now that we're married but I still want to watch it 1,000 more times as soon as we can. I really don't know how to thank Brian enough to show how much I appreciate the work that he put in to make this all happen.

The only downside to all of this is now that it's over, we don't really have any more reasons to keep emailing each back and forth!! I guess that's what Facebook's for though - LOL!

Having a video of our wedding was so priceless. Our friends and family watch it over and over again. With Brian, your video will not only capture the best moments of your wedding day, but also the moments that are so intimate and special without you even noticing that someone has a camera near you. If you are planning your wedding right now and are still wondering which videographer to use, stop your search and just give Brian and the folks at BGS productions a call.

Brian and his team handled everything with the utmost professionalism from which songs to include on the Wedding Video to actual delivery of the wedding video. And the day of? Forget about it! BGS was there to capture all the great moments...from the first look to the first dance to the cutting (and smudging) of the cake.

Even our photographer commented to us on BGS' professionalism. She was able to capture every still shot without having a videographer "in the way". I guess in the age of Hollywood, some videographers think they are Oliver Stone or something. In any event, having a video team that works "stays out of the way" but still captures key moments of your big day is grossly under-rated.

All in all, BGS is a company that I would recommend to a friend or family member. We couldn't have been happier with their service...and we love watching the video. Thanks BGS!

I didn't want a videographer at my wedding. My bride worked on me, gently. Two weeks before the wedding I finally agreed to a meeting with Brian. I'm glad I did. We booked him the same day. He was everything I wanted in a videographer - low key, disappeared into the background of the event and produced a video for us that captured the day without being cheesy. Yes, I've watched it - I love it - I'm glad we did it. Brian was fun and easy to work with - totally professional. From the little research we did, his pricing is on the higher side, but as far as I'm conceded it was money well spent.

BGS Rocks!! Brian and his team go above and beyond. Seriously, from beginning to end, they were nothing short of awesome! Like many others apparently, videography was one of the things we weren't really sold on when we first got engaged. But after several friends told us it was the best money they spent, we decided we had to do it or we'd regret it like so many of our other friends who hadn't gone for it. BGS came highly recommended through a couple different friends of ours who had hired them for their weddings. Brian was super easy-going and insanely accommodating with how busy he is. Emails and calls were always returned in a matter of minutes, which I certainly cannot say about all my vendors, and the finished product was delivered fast and exceeded my expectations. It was a truly magical day, I cannot wait to relive it over and over again and show our kids someday. I would give BGS all 10's if the ratings would let me!

BGS Productions is phenomenal! Speedy responses to calls, emails, etc, flexible with meetings, helpful with picking music for ceremony and video, all-over amazing! We worked with the owner, Brian, and he was the most helpful, considerate, professional and efficient person ever! He's done weddings at our venue (Malibou Lake Mountain Club, which works with Truly Yours Catering) a million times, so anytime I had a question about the food, timeline, music or whatever else, he answered in detail and helped me feel comfortable and confident with my decisions. I know that video, in general, is an expensive addition to a wedding, but BSG Productions was worth every penny! there are so many moments that can't be captured by a photo, so i'm thankful for Brian's services and just having him involved with my wedding :)

BGS Productions is the epitome of professionalism and good service. From our first meeting with Brian we were put instantly at ease, knowing that our wedding would be captured in its entirety, and with a professional wedding videographer. It relieved much of the wedding stress, and allowed us to concentrate on the rest of the event. Words cannot describe how happy I am with my wedding video. Like any typical bride, I wanted to save money and opt out on the video... I thank God that Brian talked me into doing it. Brian with BGS productions is very professional, friendly, and down to earth. He is one of my vendors that will forever stand out as exceptional. He was there and helping everytime I turned around, although not in any annoying or obnoxious kind of way. He didn't make himself "noticed", it was just the little things he did that made him stand out as "excellent". He helped with my dress making sure it wasn't getting tossed in the wrong direction. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND his duty as a videographer.
For the video, they ask you to pick some songs for the background music. We had such confidence in him that we gave him several names of bands/singers and he picked the songs for us. I have to say that I wouldn't have been able to pick more perfect or appropriate songs for our video. Our video was exquisite, as a wedding video should be. I would recommend this videographer hands down!

BGS Productions was amazing. My wife and I wanted to capture our special day so down the line we can look back and re-live the moment and Brian was exactly what we needed! His professionalism is top notch and we did not have to worry about anything on our wedding day. What was even better was when we watched the final product with our family, most of them were in tears because it picked up on so many small special moments that they initially missed.

Brian was AMAZING. I hate the way I look on video (always) and really didn't want a videographer. But my mom strong-armed me into hiring Brian, and I have to admit now she was totally right. First, on the day of the wedding he captured everything...but I swear I never saw him. After the wedding a bunch of guests said that they didn't even notice I had a videographer! He flew totally under the radar. Second, the final product was incredible. He magically cut out all of my awkwardness and everything looked fantastic. I am SO happy I decided to go with Brian.

BGS did a beautiful job on my wedding video. Brian is incredibly attentive to detail, and the quality is impeccable! You will be spending some $ with them, but judging by the quality and overall experience, it is WELL WORTH IT! They captured everything exactly as I wanted, and they were a joy to work with.

Don't hire this guy he's not worth the cost.
When we first met/hired Brian we were very excited and thought we found a great videographer. We looked at examples of his work & he was recommended by our venue. He does a great montage of the day but that's all that was good about our final product.
He didn't capture key moments he was in the room for (the signing of our marriage license) & captured others terribly (only showed the hands of those signing our Ketubah). The video was out of focus in places (during toasts and other non-dancing events) to which he told me that it was in focus. Only in the Blue Ray copy is everything in focus, but DVD's should be that poor of quality. He cut off the beginning of BOTH the Father/Daughter dance & our First Dance and for the latter he was behind us & only got a 3/4 shot so you can’t see the whole dance.
Much of the first half of the reception also wasn't captured. We had amazing music playing during dinner and he didn't capture a single song. Instead he laid over his own music for that portion of the night.
It's over a year later and I'm still getting compliments on our music selection, but it wasn't captured for posterity. And of course, that's the entire reason we got a videographer. Pictures are great, but in order to capture the tone, style, and sounds of the wedding, video is the only way to go.
I asked him if he could do a re-edit but he said the material didn't exist. I asked for a copy of the raw footage but he would not provide that.
I went back and forth with him trying to salvage the video but was unable to get something from him that I don't hate. The only compensation he gave me for this fiasco was one free Blue Ray disc so we at least have one copy of the wedding that's in focus. At one point he offered me a small amount of a monetary refund but when I told him that wasn't enough I never heard from him again. My dad wanted me to sue him, but that's just not my style but I do want to warn others away.
